Chapter 7 : Slow day

Both Akane and Hiro now are in town for the first time. They are looking around for something to do. Then they sported Pokemart they saw before. They decided they were going to take a look at it. They went inside it. There are many products that's important for Pokemon trainers that are all displayed in Mart.

Hiro and Akane both want to buy some items and food for their Pokemon. First Hiro check Khalasi's pokedex entry. It says she has a Brave nature. Nature has some effect on Pokemon stat and also food preferences. Brave nature helps increase Attack stat and decrease Speed stat. Means Hiro has to keep that in mind. Brave nature Pokemon like spicy food. Khalasi is also a fire type so some may think all fire types like spicy food but it's not true. Only those who has Lonely, Brave, Adamant, Naughty nature like spicy food. No matter what type your Pokemon are, their preference of food is decided by their nature.

Hiro also checks Aqua's nature. It's Timid. His nature increases his Speed stat and decreases Attack stat. He also likes Sweet things. Akane also checks Usagi's nature, it's Gentle. It increases her Special Defense stat and decreases her Defense stat. She also likes Bitter things. So with all that in mind Hiro buys some spicy and sweet Pokemon food and Akane buys some bitter Pokemon food.

They also each have only five and in Hiro's case four empty Pokeball. So they also buy 10 each Pokeball. They also gave one PrimarBall each for buying 10 Pokeball. They are later going into a viridian forest where so many Pokemon are that can poison your Pokemon so they also buy 5 each Antidote. They don't want their Pokemon to get poison. They also buy 10 each Potion. It cost nearly half of the money they brought with them but it is an important thing they are going to need in the near future.

They left Pokemart and explored the town more. They also buy some dry fruits and vegetables to eat when they are not staying in the Pokemon centre and have to camp outside. Fortunately bag storage systems are very advanced so they don't have to worry about vegetables and other things spoiling.

After some more exploring they found a nice park and decided to rest there for a while before going back to the Pokemon center. Hiro calls out both Khalasi and Aqua. Aqua is new; he hasn't even used it for battle yet. Hiro wants to make him his friend first. " Aqua, welcome to my party." Hiro says and Aqua looks at him. He isn't angry or anything that Hiro caught him. He just looks timid. " Don't be afraid. I am not going to hurt you. Now you're my Pokemon that means I have to take care of you. " Aqua looks like he began to trust Hiro. That made him smile." I know you Attack us earlier so you can get some food or hoping one of us cache you so you can get food right." Hiro asks him. Aqua somewhat blush and nod. "Don't worry about food anymore. You are one of my friends so I will take care of your." Hiro declar. Khalasi also nodded at that. Now Aqua looks happy. "Do you two want some food. I select it specially for you two." Hiro asked. Both his Pokemon nod and Hiro provide them with some food he specifically bought for them. They seem to like it. After some time they decided to go back to the Pokemon center.

They both Arrive at the Pokemon center soon. When they entered the Pokemon center they saw that Ash was talking with her mother in the main hole. He is using the Pokemon center's PC to call her mother. It looks like his mother is yelling at him for being reckless. And he is apologizing. Both reincarnated trainers go there at that moment Ash was done talking with his mother and now about to call professor Oak. "Hey Ash, how are you filling?" Hiro asked. " I am fine now. I was just tired." Ash replied.

"So why won't you stay at the pallet town exit to wait for us. We will stay there for one and a half hours and then go to your house to check on you." Akane asks, wanting to know why Ash didn't wait for them. "Sorry for the trubel, you see my Pikachu doesn't listen to me at the time, and when I was waiting for you two to come he ran off towards the wild. After that I ran after him but he somehow made Spearow angry. Then that spearow call his friends and they start chasing after me and Pikachu. Then I fell into the river and Misty fished me out with her fishing rod. I took her bicycle because spearows just after me and Pikachu. But I fell again and all spearows caught up to me. I tried to defend Pikachu by recalling him back in his Pokeball but he came out and gave one big thunder sock.and after that i lost consciousness. Misty told me about what happened after that. Thanks for helping me." Ash told Hiro and Akane what happened. "Don't worry about it. We are friends and that's what friends do." Hiro told him. " So how is your Pikachu Ash?" Akane asked. " He is fine, he just needs some rest. " Ash answered.

Then all three decided to call professor Oak to inform him that all three made it to the viridian town. "Hello there, it seems all Three of you made it to the viridian town. You all have reached it very fast. Most trainers take two to three days to reach Viridian town from Pallet town." Professor Oak says seeing that all three of them are calling him from the Viridian Pokemon center. " Yeah, it was a very interesting journey." Hiro replied. And after that we told him everything that happens with Ash. " Ash, you should be more careful. But I can't fully blame you either. I know that Pikachu doesn't license to anyone but still I gave you. I hope he doesn't cause any more problems for you." Professor Oak told Ash.

" Don't worry professor, Pikachu and I are now friends." Ash replied with a smile. " So anyone can catch a new Pokemon. I bet with all of your mom's that at least all of you have managed to catch one Pokemon each." Professor Oak asks.

"No. I haven't cache any professor." Ash replied sadly. " What about you Akane, please let me lose all my bets." Professor asked hopefully. "Sorry professor but I am also not able to catch any Pokemon." Akane replied. " That's so bad. You all have to face quite a lot of trouble, and because of that you all reach viridian before catching any Pokemon." Professor Oak said sadly.

"Hey professor, you haven't asked me. I managed to catch one Pokemon yesterday." Hiro says. And with that professor seems to be a little happy he's not going to lose all his money. " Which one? show me" Professor asks, wanting to see Pokemon that are going to save his little money. "Aqua come out." Hiro says and throws Aqua's Pokeball in the air. When Aqua came out, the professor and Ash both were shocked to see a shiny Horsea.

"You managed to cache a shiny Pokemon that early. Some people try to find one for their whole life but they can't find one." Professor Oak is totally amazed by shiny Pokemon. "Oh man you are so lucky." Ash says it's the first time he was seeing shiny. Ash read about them in a book and hopes to meet and cache someday. But he wasn't expecting to see one that early in his journey. And from one of his friends who started their journey together.

"Yes, we found him when we were looking for Ash. Akane let me catch him." Hiro told them. "Well he needs water type to fight with a rock gym and he promises to let me cache whichever shiny we next encounter." Akane replied.

" It still shows how much trust you each other. No one lets someone else cache shiny Pokemon that easily." Professor Oak says. " Okay then goodbye you three and be safe out there. And have all of you call your mother's to let them know that you have reached Viridian town." Professor Oak asks.

"Ash here already called his mother and we are going to call after talking with you." Akane says. "I am not going to take anymore your time. Goodbye." And with that professor Oak cut the call.

"So what are we going to do now?" Ash asks. We are going to stay here one more day, train a bit and then start heading towards the viridian forest so we can reach Pewter City. And challenge their Gym. I checked online that it's a rock type gym." Hiro answered.

Then Misty came there " hey guys, if it's not a problem can I come along. I am also heading in that direction. And someone broke my bicycle so now I have to go there waking." Misty says. Although in the last part she said very sweetly looking in Ash's direction. Ash looked at her nervously " sorry about that I promise I will give you New bicycle when I have a Money." Ash replied. Misty accepts it.

"So what are we going to do today?" Misty asks. " Me and Hiro already bought some supplies that we needed earlier. Why don't you two check that you have everything you need." Akane suggested. so Misty and Ash decide to go buy some things that they need on their journey.

When Ash and Misty left Hiro and Akane call their respected mother's to inform them that they have reached the Viridian town. Both their mothers are happy to see them fine and impressed that they reach the Viridian town that quickly. Hiro's mother was more happy when Hiro showed her his new Shiny Pokemon. she says he is so lucky to chach one shiny Pokemon. They both says goodbye to their mothers.

"So what we do now?" Akane ask. "Let's battle, i haven't had chance to use Aqua in battle. " Hiro suggest. " Your wish to battle with me. You do know Water type are weak again Grass type. " Akane says. "I know but I want to check how he's doing in real Pokemon battle. And besides no one else is here to battle." Hiro reply. " Ok i acsept your challenge my rival. Do we going to simply battle or going to put money on it?" Akane ask. " It's depends on you. How do you want it." Hiro ask." Let's just battle. I don't want to take money from you." Akane says. " Your saying like your going to win before even battle begins." Hiro reply. " Ofcourse I am going to win. I am the very best like no one ever was. " She replied. " So I am going to beat you and take that title from you." He replied playing along what she is saying.

"Go Usagi. Show them why we are the best partner." She says and throw Pokeball into the air. Soon Usagi came out of her Pokeball and rore in reply of her trainer. " Let's go Aqua show them who is best. " He says and throw his Pokeball into the air and just like before Aqua came out of his Pokeball with cry.

They both wait for movement to let other Atteck first, but when no one Atteck first Hiro order horsea to use Smokescreen. Aqua quickly use said move and with that hole battlefield are now cover in thick black smoke. Seeing that it's dangerous for Usagi and if she doesn't do anything Aqua just going hits Usagi when she can't see. " Usagi use Vine Whip around you. Don't let horsea near you." She order her Pokemon. She knows that horsea can take advantage of their distraction and Atteck Usagi. If he Atteck Usagi now she can know where is he hiding that smoke screen not going to be forever. So he has to Atteck now.

"Aqua use Leer on Usagi." Hiro order Aqua. Akane was suprise to see he was playing safe. Meye he wants to decrease Usagi's defence and end this battle in one move. But she wasn't going to let it happen.

"Usagi use Growl." Akane order her Pokemon. Usagi use move that her trainer told her to do and it's decrease Aqua's Atteck.

"I am lowering your defence and you are lowering my Atteck power. Pokemon battles are really more fun than in games." Hiro told her. "Yes. You are right. We have to order our Pokemon carefully here. And Atteck like Smokescreen that just lower it's opponent accuracy is here making hard to pinpoint Aqua's location to Atteck him." Akane reply. " Let's continue this. Aqua use water gun." Hiro order.

Soon from the black ink Aqua use water gun towards Usagi. that's movement Akane was waiting for. " Stay there and use Vine Whip in direction where water gun is coming." Akane order her Pokemon.

Usagi stay still even though Jet of water hit her she took little damage but thank to her typeing she was completely fine with it. Then she use Vine Whip in direction water is coming and hit it's Target. Soon all smoke are clear and Aqua is on ground and his eyes are close indicating that he was defeated.

Akane praise Usagi for doing her best, and recall her in her Pokeball so she can rest. Hiro looks bit upset but soon get over it and recall Aqua in his Pokeball. " You did great Aqua." He also congratulat Akane for winning.

"See i told you I am going to win. But I have to admit it's not as easy as I thought it to be. You really do very well

" Akane says. " Thanks for your kind words. And next time when we are going to battle i am the one who's going to win." Hiro says. Both Shak hands and go towards Pokemon centre.

When they reach Pokemon centre, they saw both Ash and Misty are back and Pikachu is now on Ash's soldier. "Hey Ash, Misty how are you both." Akane wave and ask. "We are just got hear after shopping. What are you two doing in that time." Misty ask. "We are battling in battlefield that located in back side of Pokemon centre." Hiro reply.

" There's battlefield here. I totally want to check it." Ash says. "So who won." Misty ask curious to know who won battle. "Akane's Usagi defeat my Aqua." Hiro reply. "I know Usagi is Akane's Bulbsuar's name, but I don't know who's Aqua? It's like something that gives Water type wibe. Is it's Water type?" Misty ask wanting to know who's Aqua.

" Yes it's my Horsea's name." Hiro reply. "Horsea! They are quite rare in Kanto. And even more rare in this area. You are lucky to get one." Misty reply. " Misty. His Horsea is also shiny." Ash says.

"NO WAY! A SHINY HORSEA. THAT'S SO COOL. I WANT TO SEE IT. PLEASE SHOW ME YOUR SHINY HORSEA HIRO." Misty says quite a bit more excited that Hiro caught a shiny. And a water type nonetheless.

"I can't right now. He is unconscious right now. I am going to gave him to nurse Joy, so she can heal him." Hiro reply.

"Oooh. I really want to see him. I like water type Pokemon so much and to think i got see a water type shiny is so much exciting." She says. " By the way do you want to tread him with one of my Pokemon." Misty ask. "Sorry but I really don't want to tread any of my Pokemon." Hiro reply. "I figured. But it worth asking." Misty says bit depressed that she is not going to get shiny Horsea. She can understand shiny Pokemon are rare and only lucky one or rich people can get one. So why would anyone just give her Shiny that they caught.

"Don't be sad. I hope you will get a shiny water type soon Misty." Ash reassur her. Misty looks little better now. "I am fine Ash. It's just i am little sad because I couldn't find any rare water types. Finding shiny water type are beyond me." Misty admit.

"Don't beat yourself over it. There's so much water type Pokemon in world and maybe you're going to chach not only one but multiple shiny water type in your journey. Our journey is just begun after all." Akane says trying to make Misty feel better.

"Yes your right. I am going to become water type Pokemon master. And also going to have full party of shiny water type." Misty says now looks clearly more motivated.

"So what should we do we still has half day to spend. We could stay here tonight and move on tomorrow morning." Hiro suggest. " We could look around wild area around viridian town. If we are lucky we can find rare Pokemon or else we could just battle trainers around viridian town." Akane suggest. And with that all four of them decide to go in wild area around town to train there Pokemon. But before going Hiro gave Aqua's Pokeball to nerse Joy to take care of.

"Let's go guys, beat every single treiner out there." Ash says more exactly.
