At 5:30 Pepper went up to Peter's room to tell him supper was ready but she had an idea he would be eating it in his room.
Pepper knows that new homes could be intimidating scary. She opened the door didn't see Peter.
She looked around heard a little noise coming from the closet. She then knew Peter was hiding. She understood that. He was severely abused was afraid.
Pepper smiled sadly went downstairs to get Peter's meal told her husband about the situation waked back upstairs to Peter's room. "Ok Peter your food is here you can eat it when you're ready." After that she left.
Back in Peter's room he waited a couple of minutes to make sure Pepper wasn't coming back taking the food from him.
After he deemed it safe he slowly got out of the closet went over to the meal. It wasn't too fancy, just mac n cheese but still it was big for Peter.
After he ate it he went back in the closet not trusting Peter not to come back hurting him. He already made a mistake of making a noise when Pepper was in the room.
He is especially did not trust the Tony dude all men hurt him. He didn't want another to hurt him.
