Note: I am going to change some event as i like. and I watch Pokemon long ago so it's won't going to be exactly same as anime. and i am not going to do any ship just now.

Chapter 9 : Samurai

Our heroes are currently standing inside Viridian forest. They travel quite far already. They have been traveling for almost three days. They also battle every trainer who comes in their way.

Ash is currently fighting with a trainer that has Caterpie. Ash also wants to see who's Caterpie is strong so he is using his own Caterpie.

" Caterpie used string shots." Opponent ordered his Caterpie to attack. " Caterpie use Tekale." Ash orders his own Caterpie to attack. Both Caterpie ready themself to attack. First opponent's Caterpie used string shots. It did nothing to damage Ash's Caterpie, but his speed lowered a bit. Now Ash's Caterpie is a bit slower than before. But it's still an attack he was told to do.

Then the opponent also orders his Caterpie to use Tekale. Ash once more ordered his Caterpie to use Tekale. Both did attack but the opponent's Caterpie is faster and almost defeats Ash's Caterpie.

But Caterpie doesn't want to lose. He suddenly starts gloving, and it's chenge. Caterpie evolved into Metapod. Ash is happy. Very happy that his Pokemon evolved. And it's the first time seeing any Pokemon evolve. He was amazed by that.

Ash's opponent is currently worrying that Ash's Pokemon evolve in battle but don't want to admit defeat just yet. He ordered his Pokemon to attack again. Ash's order his newly evolved Pokemon to use Harden. It helps make Matapot tough enough to take more hits. Now Ash's Pokemon has a chance to win. Metapot is so much slower than before, after evolving, but he is much Topher now.

Ash's opponent is having hard time to even make noticeable damage. He is frustrated. But then suddenly his Caterpie also start gloving indicating he's also evolving. He looks as happy as Ash was when he's Caterpie evolve.

Now the battle between two Caterpie is battle between two Matapot. Matapat are very slow Pokemon. They can't even attack properly. Now both as and his opponent have to use only Harden. Both are to slow to use Tekale and it's no point in lowering their speed either. And also no point in highering your defense. So right now battle is in position that neither party can do anything. So they have to declare it tie.

"You are so awesome bro. And because of you my Caterpie also evolved. So thanks a bunch." Ash's opponent is clearly happy his Pokemon evolved. "You're also good. And because of that battle my Pokemon also evolved. So it's a win -win situation for both of us." Ash replied. " But still it's the same , we don't have a chance who's Caterpie is best. We can battle again when they both become butterfree. " Ash's opponent suggested to him. "Yes I like to battle you again too." Ash replied.

And with that they shook hands. Our heroes then start their journey to Pewter City. They are only one day away from it.

Suddenly a man dressed up like a samurai and had a sword too. He looks intimidating.

He took out his sword and pointed it towards Ash and asked " Are any of you from Pallet town?" Ash and Misty look confused about what that Samurai wants. Reincarnated pairs know that this boy loses to another pallet town trainer in anime and want to prove himself against Ash. But here all three of four trainers who left pallet town this year are right here. They didn't even battle him yet. So the only logical option is that Gary defeats him earlier.

"Yes I am Ash Ketchum. And here's my friends Misty, Akane and Hiro. Me, Hiro and Akane are from Pallet town. What do you want?" Ash asked Samurai boy.

" You see, I am training here in the forest Yesterday. A boy named Gary Oak is passing by here. So I stopped him and fought with him. But his Pokemon was strong and easily defeated me. Since then I have been waiting here. He said that he is the strongest of the four trainers who left pallet town this year. So I want to battle other pallet town trainers to see how I do agents." Samurai told his reason to Stop them.

"Okay Ash why don't you battle with him. He looks strong and it also helps you for the Gym challenge." Hiro told Ash.

"Okay. I am ready to battle anytime. Let's do this." Ash exactly. Then Samurai choose his Pokemon first. It's pinsir.

Ash quickly took out his pokedex. It's says

Pinsir, Bug type Pokemon.

Pinsir has a pair of massive horns. Protruding from the surface of these horns are thorns. These thorns are driven deeply into the foe's body when the pincer closes, making it tough for the foe to escape.

Ash was a bit worried about it. Pinsir can cut any Pokemon into half. And he also doesn't have any Pokemon who are super effective against it. And it also looks dangerous.

Ash thought for a minute and then sent out his Metapot. Misty and Samurai both are surprised to see Ash is using his Metapot.

" Are you sure you want to use Metapot?" Samurai asked Ash, still surprised. " Yes, hundred percent sure." Ash replied. " Okay then don't say I didn't warn you." Samurai say and then order his Pinsir to use a Vise Grip attack. Pinsir then runs towards Metapot and catches him with his large pair of gray, spiky pincers. He caught Metapot in it. But then Ash ordered his Metapot to keep using Harden. Because of that Metapot's defense maxed out. And pinsir couldn't do anything.

Despite how much low damage he was doing Pinsir kept doing Video Grip. At this moment Ash realized that he has good defense but he can't win matches simply because of it. He has to attack. But Metapot is too slow to do anything.

Then he got an idea " Metapod used string shot and swing with the help of trees. And then use Tackle." Ash gives orders to his Pokemon. But fortunately Metapot understands it and starts using Sting shots to Swing and gain speed. Then with its momentum he uses Tackle.

Samurai and Others are surprised to see this. Even the reincarnated trainer was also surprised to see this. Ash didn't do something like this here. But they know Ash always comes up with ideas like this.

Pinsir was strong. Far stronger than Metapot. But the Matapot defense is Max out right now and he couldn't manage to damage him much but now Metapod is slowly damaging Pinsir. Soon Pinsir was defeated. Samurai is suprise to see that his strongest Pokemon lost to Matapot. But he wasn't angry or anything like that. He was laughing.

"Oh man. I didn't think you could use your Pokemon attack like that. You are truly very surprising Ash Ketchum from pallet town. I am honored to battle with you. I would like to battle you in future if you're alright." Samurai says, still surprised he lost the battle , that he thought he was going to win before it started.

" Thanks. And your Pinsir was strong too. I almost lost if I didn't think of a way to attack." Ash replied and with that both shook hands.

Then everyone notices that Ash's Metapod is starting to evolve again. Soon he evolved and now he is a beautiful Butterfree. Ash is happy that his Pokemon evolved once again. And now he has Butterfree.

Ash and others are happy to see Pokemon evolve in front of them. And now the newly evolved Butterfree is flying in circles around Ash. He is also happy that now he can fly.

At this moment they heard the sound of someone screaming. They look in that direction and saw that Team Rocket who attack them earlier is running towards them. And behind them are so many Beedrills. They are coming in their directions.

" What in the name of Arceus did you do to make them that angry?" Hiro asked. " You see, we want to give our boss some Kakuna so they evolve into Beedrills and we don't have to fight them to catch them. But they all evolve at the same time and are now chasing after us." Jessie told Heroes what happened.

Team Rocket then runs towards Heros and then hides behind them. Beedrills seeing this start chasing after our heroes.

" We have to drive them away. Go khalasi." Hiro suggested. "You're right. We can't run like that, we are Pokemon trainers now. Go King ." Akane also said. "Yeah your right. Go Pikachu help them." Ash told his Pikachu. " BUGS SO MANY BUGS. STARYU PLEASE HELP ME." Misty is afraid. She somehow managed to stay calm when Ash and other trainers used their bug Pokemon, because she knows at least they want to attack her. But right now so many bug Pokemon are attacking them. There are at least 14 Beedrills.

Team rocket has already run away. Now all Beedrills are focusing on Heros. " Khalasi use Ember on Beedrills.""King use Peck on Beedrills." " Pikachu used Thundershock on them, Butterfree use Sleep powder on them" " STARYU USE WATER GUN ON BUGS." all order their Pokemon to use attack.

All Pokemon did as their trainer told them to do. And soon they defeated every Beedrills. Some are still there sleeping the one Ash's Butterfree uses Sleep powder on.

Now that this problem is taken care of Ash and his friends continue their journey. Pewter City is so close. They are going to reach it Tomorrow.

Author note: hope you all like it. in this Chapter Ash Caterpie manege to evolve full way to Butterfree. and also meet with that samurai guy.
