Wednesday stood in her and Enid's dorm, her arms were crossed and she was giving a particular object her patented death stare. Thing stood on his fingers nearby, his own eyeless gaze shifting between the goth and the object that sat innocently on the desk. You could hear a pin drop.

She tapped her fingers, both impatiently and in agitation. Her new court mandated therapist, Dr. Mort, had asked her to use this object for... therapeutic uses. Maybe allowing her to channel her hatred of people in a healthy manner.

She unfolded her arms and marched up to the object in question and took it into her hands. She eyed it disdainfully before letting out a huff of annoyance. She'd have to try it at least once, she was well aware that even though the doctor had suggested it, it was more or less ordered and she would rather not end up back in some of stuffy courtroom again.

Since returning to Nevermore their stalker had upped their game in stalking, sending threatening messages, photos, crudely drawn sketches and even flowery poems with a lethal edge. So far her investigation had been both frustrating and directionless. They hid their tracks well.

She was drawn from her ire as the door to their door clicked open softly, Wednesday felt her shoulders relax as her roommate and the girl she planned to court entered their shared space. She spun on her heel, Enid's face lit up excitedly as she saw her goth best friend.

"Wednesday!" She exclaimed, her face lit up in joy. Wednesday rose an eyebrow as the literal rainbow skipped over to her, her blonde hair bouncing as she did so. Clasping her hands in front of her.

"Howdy bestie!" she said, face beaming as she came to a stop in front of her "What'cha up to?"

Wednesday's eye nearly twitched at the utter destruction of the English language she had just heard from her future paramour. But she refrained and instead blinked.

"My court mandated therapist has seen fit to try and curb my more anti-social tendencies towards other people"

"That bitch!" Enid whisper shouted. Wednesday blinked again.

"Quite so." Enid again beamed in her direction. Sending her soul into a careening cascade of emotion for the wolf that would give her father a rival for his money.

"Nevertheless, she has seen fit to have me engage in some pretend violence at her behest, I have been told it is quite therapeutic" Wednesday said.

"Pretend violence?" Enid inquired, lowering her head slightly.

Wednesday held up the object that had been the source of her frustration mere moments ago. Enid wanted to laugh, it was a video game, and not just any video game but Call of Duty: Black Ops I. A bit outdated by today's standards but would nevertheless be effective.

"I was about to engage in this pretend violence" She paused "Would you care to join me?"

Enid seemed to vibrate with excitement in the spot where she stood, Wednesday nearly took an involuntary step backwards, wondering is she was about to explode.

"OH EM GEE!" Enid squealed "I would love to! There is a console in the communal room!" Enid exclaimed, latching onto Wednesday's arm dragging her out of their door and down the hall to the communal lounge.

Wednesday could count on a single hand the amount of times she had actively spent time in this space, the armchairs, whilst worn and well used, remained comfy and warm. The fireplace was always lit in the winter months, being tended to the wood nymphs that took care of the housekeeping.

She found a controller shoved into her hands, it felt a little odd to be holding but she quickly familiarised herself with the layout and the buttons.

"Have you played this before?" The writer asked the blonde.

"Oh yeah, I stopped though a while back" Enid said, suddenly blushing.

"For what reason?" Wednesday replied, noting the blush that had crept up Enid's neck and face.

"Uh, I got a little too competitive" Enid said, placing the disc on the disc try and pressing a button, letting the tray recede into the worn and well loved console.

"Competitiveness is a healthy trait to exhibit, you handled the Poe cup just fine"

Enid gave her a pointed look "Really? Do you not remember the mess I was the night before?" Wednesday remembered, Enid's face full of tears because of Yoko's garlic bread incident.

"Ah" Wednesday said.

"Exactly" Enid huffed, grabbing her own controller as the title sequence booted up, a old time radio system appearing on the screen, as a woman with a lit cigarette pressed down on the old style microphone and started to speak into it.

"Ascension, 7, 15, 1, 2, 19, 7, 25, 6, 13, 6, 7, 15, 14, 0" Despite herself Wednesday found herself intrigued but made no comment as Enid navigated the screens, before signing in into her personal profile and signing in Wednesday as a guest.

"Right so the objective of this is to just kill everyone on the opposite team" Enid said as they were being put into a lobby. The map they were loading into was called "Firing Range". "Your on the bottom of the screen okay?" Enid said with a smile.

Wednesday nodded "Yes I understand" she replied as they loaded in as their team's theme played, followed by a countdown.

5 MINTUES LATER...

"HE'S FUCKING CAMPING! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! I'M GONNA SHOVE THAT SHOTGUN UP YOUR ASS YOU BITCH!" Enid roared furiously at the TV as she died again to the same guy, in the same spot.

Wednesday slowly turned her head, her mouth open in complete shock, as Enid's face contorted in anger again, the signature sound of the shotgun going off once more, resulting in another death for Enid.

Wednesday felt it again, the tug towards Enid and where she was hopelessly attracted to the angry wolf next to her. In the fogginess and haze of her mind, as it succumbed to the Addams need to be an utter simp to the ones who captured their hearts she couldn't help but hopelessly utter

"What monstrous form have I unleashed? like Frankenstein before me, I have created a monster that is simply ravishing, how I enchanted I feel for thee" Wednesday said, her lips upturning in a smirk.

Enid hearing the words felt her face heat up red at the goth's words. She side-eyed Wednesday briefly, trying to not let the blush completely consume her. She dipped her head as she died again. Wednesday finally understood why Enid had stopped playing, it made her immensely more ravishing and beautiful than she already was.

The final nail in the coffin is when Enid had switched weapon classes, to one equipped with a flamethrower attachment to her Galil assault rifle. She charged into the room, and before the camper that had plagued all match could turn and fire his shotgun, Enid pressed down on the trigger and fire was thrown forth. Killing the camper with extreme prejudice.

As the camper died, Enid did not relent with her attack, the fire from the flamethrower reflecting in her eyes, her grin was both manic and gleeful. And Wednesday was witness to it all. She had felt herself swoon, watching Enid take joy in her revenge. Enid turned her head slightly, seeing that she was being watched.

She dipped her head shyly.

"I just asked myself WWWD" She said with a smirk.

Wednesday arched an eyebrow "and you think I would burn him to death?"

"Yeah?" Enid asked nervously

"You thought correctly, my deviousnesses really is rubbing off on you" Wednesday said pridefully.

Enid sat up a little straighter as she preened, clearly proud.

"At least you didn't get me to play Dead by Daylight, otherwise you really would see the worst side of me" Enid joked, laughing lightly.

"Dead by Daylight?" Wednesday inquired.

"Oh yeah, its this game where four survivors have to evade a Killer whilst trying to escape from... the trial?" Enid said trailing off as she noticed Wednesday giving her the biggest death stare she think she has ever seen. "Willa?"

"There's a game where you can be a serial killer and you never thought to mention it?" Wednesday said, tight lipped and cold.

Enid shuffled uncomfortably "Um yeah... sorry?" Enid offered wincing at her own lack of tact. She held up her hands in surrender.

"In my defence we don't have the latest console here for it and there is a cell phone version of the game, and you don't like cell phones" Enid said.

Wednesday pulled out her phone, the one that Xavier had given her at the end of last semester.

"I do now, install it, and all will be forgiven" Wednesday said, holding out the device. Enid took the phone gingerly, a smile had returned to her face as Dead by Daylight Mobile began to download.

"You know, whilst I have it I could always install, snapchat, tiktok and insta for you?"

"Don't push your luck, Enid"
