INT. Shibuya live Theater-Day
A blue haired woman singing while her dancers, in the background, danced. The player is unable to hear any singing or noise the crowd is making, however, there is distorted-like, broken music playing in the background. The camera shifts to the crowd of faceless people who are either clapping or looking astonished. There was a man, who wasn't facless, enjoying his wine.
The camera zooms in on a little girl, who also has blue hair, singing along with the singer.
The singer continues to sing as the camera slowly pans over to focus on a particular dancer and zooms in on his smiling face.
Their expression quickly morphs into shock as blood pours out of his mouth. The dancer slowly looks down as the camera moves down and shows a bloodied blade sticking out of his chest.
The distorted music begins to play louder as the dancer is split in half. Then, the distorted music gets louder, we can now hear the screaming crowd.
The singer and the dancers run away as demons began to pour out from behind the curtains, jumping out into the crowd, to slay the people below.
The crowd bolts to the door and tries to escape from the entrance, however, because there are too many trying to open the doors, they remain stuck as the demons slaughter them.
The camera pans out and views the entire auditorium becoming massacred by the demons.
After the screaming fades out, the scene then shifts to a deceased corpse rolling over as a little girl emerges from the pile of corpses.
A traumatized expression mounts all over her face as she looks around horrified. She still manages to get up and look around for someone while she's confused and broken.
The little girl stops at an aisle as she looks down slowly. Immediately her eyes widen and tears begin to roll down her face. The camera shows the blue haired singer, bruised and strangled. Based on how torn up her clothes were, it was clear she was violated right before she was killed.
The little girl approaches the singer and drops to her knees. She sobs as she places her forehead onto the singer's head.

"I'll kill them for this. I'll kill them all."
The cutscene fades to black
EXT. Sky with grey clouds-Night
In first person, the camera is moving across the gray sky, seemingly being pulled in by a greater force.
Male Voice
"I have put my spirit upon them! They shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles."

"They shall build a house for my name."
Female voice
"All kings shall fall down before them. All nations shall serve them."

"And I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever."

The player now has the ability to select the gender, appearance, and tone of voice for their protagonist.

Still image shows Human beings are fighting against each other using swords, lances, axes, daggers, and magic. One could see the intent to kill on their faces.

Still image shows humans being protected by soldiers in a special uniform. While humans coward behind them, they held out there weapons to defend the people from the incoming demons.
EXT. In front of Tokyo Tower-Night
Still image shows a crowd of people cheering as a man in a suite walks down the middle. As they cheer, cherry blossoms rain down.
INT. Meeting room-Night
Still image shows a round table with four members surrounding it. There was a man on the north, another man on the East, another man on the south, and then a female on the west. In the middle of them stood an unknown figure.
EXT. Tokyo-Night
The camera raises up from streets to the sky. The camera then pans outwards
The camera angle shifts overhead and pans outwards for the player to catch a full glimpse of Tokyo. The city was dark, only a few red and white lights remained. In the center of Tokyo, there was a yellow pillar of light. It slowly pans out to view the infrastructure varied and a lot of the regions looked vastly different from one another. Few places had smoke, tall buildings, and forests.
The sounds of screaming, laughing, crying, and talking grew increasingly louder as the camera continued to zoom out. The camera, once it has a full shot of the world, stops once all of Tokyo could be viewed, the sounds of screaming, crying, and laughing completely drowned out the music. The game remains idle so the player can take in these depressing sounds until the game cuts to the title of the work.

The protagonist wakes up and slowly gets up from the bed. They turn their head and come face to face with the person who told them to wake up. It's a young man in a uniform wearing some sort of gauntlet.

"It's about time yo. Watching you sleep was quite the bore."

"Err…Anyways yo, you got an assignment ceremony in a few minutes. I recommend you get dressed. Why are you looking at me like that yo? Get dressed!"

We see a still image of the gauntlets on both the MC and the mysterious man. The gleam of the bronze metal is very eye-catching.

"The ceremony is about to begin yo. Get your ass to the ceremony halls."
The protagonist leaves the dorm and heads to the ceremony halls.
INT. Ceremony room-Night
We see the protagonist enter into the room. They look around until their eyes pinpoint a particular group of soldiers. The protagonist then makes their way over to the group.
The young man, who approached the protagonist, had dark green hair, light green eyes, and stood roughly 6 feet tall. He approached the protagonist with a wave and a smile across his face.

"Oh? Hey, there you are. You're the last one to show up, seems a bit out of character, especially for you hehe.."
The young man blushed a bit and awkwardly looked away for a moment before regaining his composure

"Sorry sorry I'm only joking. I'm sure you had your reasons for showing up late."
Another character walked up behind the young man. The young female that approach the young man from behind had long straight mint green hair, hazel eyes, and stood roughly 5'10 feet tall.
Young woman
"Hoy, Fern! Why are you flirting with (player's name)?"
Fern
"What?! No, that's not it Caitlin!"
Caitlin
"Okay okay, yeesh, you don't have to get all defensive."
Caitlin places her arm around Fern

We see the protagonist, Fern, Caitlin, and the other platoons stand at the position of attention in order to acknowledge the platoon leaders entering the room.

"Company! Attention!"
The platoon leaders fall into the position of attention to acknowledge the president. One of them salutes to the president. The president, who walks out onto a huge deck, salutes the platoon leader.
The president appeared to be an older man, perhaps in his 50s. He had slicked back, dark blue hair. His eyes were light brown and he stood 6 feet tall. He gives off an aura of charisma.

"At ease soldiers"

President
"Without taking too much of your time, I would like to first start off this ceremony by congratulating all of you. The Tokyo Demon Combative Elite Force- or D.C.E. for short- is honored and proud to accept you into its fighting force. The tragedy that had befell us many years ago, is a tragedy we must never forget. It is the reason why the D.C.E was formed in the first place; To avenge Tokyo."
The President extended his arm straight out to emphasize confidence in speech

"By joining our program, you not only have pledged an oath to Archanea, but to Tokyo as well. You are to protect Tokyo, fight for its people, and ultimately die for Tokyo's future. I look forward to watching each and every one of you contribute to the success of our operation."
The President retracts his arm to his side.
President
"As of right now, the platoon leader you were assigned to shall organize you accordingly. I implore you to get to know your squad and most importantly, your platoon leader. You will be serving together from now and until the bitter end. From this day forward, we are a family. Brothers and sisters fighting for the same cause. Cherish it well. And with that, I wish you all the best in your services."

The scene fades to black and opens back up with a woman approaching the platoon of soldiers from the front of the formation. The mature looking woman appeared to be a lot older than the soldiers who were currently present. The woman had long dark blue hair in a pony tail, dark blue eyes, and stood roughly around 5'10 feet. On her wrist was a peculiar pink bracelet.

"As the president stated, I will be organizing our platoon. Oh… I suppose before that, it's best you learn who I am. My name is Odilia"
There was an awkward pause following the reveal of her name

"Alright, so for the organization of squadrons…"
Odilia begins to assign squad leaders and the members who would be a part of their squad. After finishing the 3rd squad she approachs the player.
Odilia
"Squad leader for 4th squad shall be…(Player's name).

A boy with a few freckles on his face, had short brown hair, and light blue eyes, approched the three. Compared to Fern and Caitlin, he was a shorter gentleman who stood roughly 5'4 feet.

"Oh uh, sorry I didn't mean to interrupt but hello, my name is Byrn."
Caitlin
"Oh hey there! Aren't you an adorable thing."

"Oh hey there. My name is Fern."

"And I'm Caitlin, pleasure to meet you Byrn"

"By the goddess's grace...you're only a boy."
The three turned around to face Alfred. The protagonist lifted their head slightly. He was an old man with pure white hair that was wrapped into a bun; He had dark green eyes, a battle scar close to his right eye, and wore a well groomed white beard. He was taller than the other party members as he stood 6'2 and was very muscular. The protagonist immediately noticed the blue bead necklace around his wrist.

"I didn't think the rumors were true. The D.C.E. really does hire child soldiers."
Byrn
"Well color me surprised as well sir. The rumors are true...The D.C.E. really does hire grandpas."
Caitlin
"Ha!"

"Grrrr..why I ought to-"
Byrn
"Ought to what? Beat a child? You wouldn't."

There was a short child who stood off to the side. She had short dark purple hair, crimson red eyes, and stood roughly 5'5 feet.

"Aww, another adorable member."

"Aww man, another annoying ass member."

"Damn, I think we're a bit dysfunctional."

"You think? Our squad leader isn't even handling the situation. Why did they even make you squad leader?"

The young woman who had confronted the group wore a white hoodie with a cornette looking hood over her head as well as a typical nun's habit, however one can clearly see she has dirty blonde hair as it pokes out from the hood. She has light blue eyes and dark bags under her eyes to indicate depression. She wears a necklace with a cross.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Seiko."

"Oh nice, my name is Byrn."

"I see. The goddess smiles upon our meeting."

We hear the chatting stop

"I'm going to cut right to the chase. You serve me now. You are to execute every order given, am I clear?"

"Yes sir!"

"Congratulations, by you serving under me, you will have the pleasure in killing those bastards who stole Tokyo away from us. However, let it be known that most of you will die. Maybe all of you, who knows. I want to make this clear. We are not friends. I am not someone to aspire to be. I don't give a shit if I lose all of you in the process of winning this war. I will protect Tokyo by any means necessary, and if those means are your lives, I'm willing to sacrifice them as well as my own for the greater good of Tokyo. With that being said. We have our first task. We are to infiltrate the, now demon infested, shelter complex. You will be briefed further once you all arrive at the 'Dorros shelter complex' in Talys. Squad Leaders, make sure to grab your updated gauntlets before you move out. That is all for now."
Odilia leaves. The protagonist is then handed a different gauntlet compared to what was worn earlier, it shines a silver sheen and seems to glow compared to the previous version, this leads to a mini tutorial of how the gauntlet works including what COMPs is.

The protagonist and the other squad leaders step forward.

"This shelter complex has been infested by demons, all 5 floors. Conveniently for us, there are stairs on the side of the complex, allowing us to split our forces and clear out all floors in one assault. 1st squad leader you are tasked with infiltrating floor one. 2nd squad, floor two and so on. I will be assisting 1st squad. Are there any questions regarding your tasks?"
No one spoke up

"Okay good, all other squads, make your way up."
The protagonist returned to their squad

"Well, fearless leader. What's our first task?"
*You explain the situation to your squad*

"Well seems easy enough."
Without further explanation, the protagonist led their squad up the stairs to the fourth floor entrance. Once they arrive, Alfred steps forward and breaks the door with one strong kick.

Multiple demons crawl out from the shadows of all corners to face the squad.

"Woah what? That demon, it just, disappeared into your gauntlet!"
Fern placed a finger on his chin and began to think.
Fern
"So that's how the D.C.E. soldiers are able to summon demons. They negotiate with demons and if it's successful, the demon will join their ranks and await their master to summon them."
The protagonist and Fern both looked at their gauntlet.
Fern
"The demon summoning program..."
Odilia
"4th squad! You're still alive?"
The squad turns around to face Odilia, who had just walked through the door.
Odilia
"Now is not the time to ask any questions. The 5th squad has suffered heavy casualties during their battle on the top floor. It's a miracle they even managed to escape."
Odilia sighed
Odilia
"I need you all to join me on the fifth floor immediately."
Odilia quickly leaves the floor and rushes up the stairs to the fifth floor. The protagonist and their squad follow behind.
INT. 5th floor- Night
Caitlin gasped and quickly covered her nose
Caitlin
"Oh goddess, the smell..it's revolting.."
Caitlin barely kept herself from falling over by holding on to her mechanical pegasus, it's midnight color synthetic mane was an easy thing for her to hold onto, to stop her from falling over in horror.
In front of the squad, there stood a hybrid of a bird and a human, covered in blood.
Celaeno
"Oh ho, so more humans have come to play? How delicious."
Celaeno screeches, summoning multiple harpies to her side.
Odilia
"Shit...a commander!"
Alfred
"Alright! Let's take these demons down and call it a day!"
Odilia
"No! I order you to retreat immediately!"
Alfred
"Huh?!"
The protagonist motions their squad to retreat immediately.
Odilia
"Alright you son of a bitch, let's see what you got."
Odilia taps on the brand that's on her face. We see a light flash and suddenly a squad of demons appear around Odilia. The protagonist tries to leave but a voice calls out to him.

"Halt!"
The protagonist stops in place

The protagonist looks around to see where the mysterious voice was coming from.

The protagonist lets out a sound of pain as they fall to their knees holding their head. On their left cheek, a symbol begins to form as the protagonist lets out painful screams.

"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem, behold, thy King cometh unto thee: The messiah is just! The messiah brings salvation!"

The voices pause after the Omega symbol has been carved onto the protagonist's face. The protagonist takes a moment to breathe and recover. After some time, the
protagonist regains their composure and wiped of the sweat on their face. The protagonist stands back up and the voice returns once more.
Male Voice
"Now go messiah...deliver us salvation."
The protagonist draws their sword and points it toward the enemy. Using their left hand, they touch the right side of their cheek. A sudden glow illuminates from their cheek.
Odilia
"What?! It can't be."
A squad of IMPS appear around the protagonist. The cutscene transitions into combat

The player is taught the basics of what a formation is and how they work.
The player is also taught about battalion abilities as the demons the protagonist commands buffs their stats.

Odilia points to the side of her left cheek, which bore a brand that resembled some kind of beast.

"You have no records. No record of family, past, or even a birthday…
Odilia gave the protagonist a suspicious look
Odilia
"Who are you?"
Odilia stares into the protagonist's eyes, as if she were staring into their soul. The stare down comes to an end when Odilia receives a transmission from her gauntlet.

"Odilia, what is the status report?"
Odilia
"All floors have been infiltrated and the demons vanquished. Casualties are low. Mission complete."

"Very good. Report back to base time now-over."
Odilia
"Roger-Over."
Odilia's picks her head back up and focuses on the protagonist
Odilia
"Well congratulations (Player's name), you and your squad are officially my favorite squad. In the coming missions, I will be joining you, to figure out who you are."
Odilia walked past the protagonist. The camera watches the two from the side angle. As soon as Odilia walks past the protagonist, slow motion plays out, putting a lot of emphasis on the two as the background becomes white. The law theme plays.
Odilia
"Report back to HQ. I'll be seeing you around, soldier."
The scene return to normal speed as Odilia departs. After reassessing the situation, the protagonist exits as well.
The game faded to black
4th floor
Seiko was seen praying over the corpses of the humans who were brutally murdered by the demons

"Please goddess, grant them salvation..hm?"
Seiko stood up and turned around to face the protagonist.
Seiko
"Forgive me, squad leader. I was asking the goddess to give these poor souls safe passage to the Heavens. That was the last of them. Would you like to join me in prayer?"

Seiko spoke in a very monotoned voice, almost as if she was devoid of all emotions.

The protagonist opened there eyes and glances over at Seiko who appeared to be trembling. There was fear in her eyes
After sometime however, she snaps out of it.

The protagonist stood up and extended their arm out. Seiko grabs ahold of the protagonist's hand, allowing the protagonist to help her up.
Female protagonist
The protagonist stood up and extended their arm out. Seiko glanced at the protagonist's hand in disgust. Seiko shook her head and proceeded to help herself up.

"Squad leader!"
Caitlin
"Oh wow, squad leader actually made it."
Emiko
"Ugh, and the goddess girl too."
Alfred
"Ha, to think I would have taken command if the squad leader didn't make it."
Byrn
"Ugh, well thank goodness they made it out then."
*You explain to your squad what the next task is*

"Well lead the way squad leader, before the commander kills us."
The player is placed back onto the world map where they must reach their next objective.

D.C.E soldier
"Platoon! Attention!"
Odilia walks out into the main hall. The soldier gave Odilia a salute and Odilia gave a salute in return.
Odilia
"I have reported to the president that our mission was a success. 5th squad had endured heavy casualties, however none of them are in any fatal condition. I am proud to report that there were no fatalities in our mission. Report to your quarters and await further instructions."
*With the conclusion of the report, you and your squad head to their assigned quarters*
INT. Personal quarters- Night
Everyone finds a spot to drop down and rest

"Allow me to heal your wounds."
Alfred
"Thanks so much uhh..you know now that I think about it...do we even know each other's names?"
Fern
"Err..I only know the squad leader, Caitlin, and Byrn. That's about it."
Alfred
"I see. Well what the hell? You would think after being assigned together for life, we would have learned each other's names on the first day"
Byrn
"We weren't really given the luxury of time to be fair, but yeah."
Caitlin
"Even so, he still has a good point."
Fern
"Well, would you like to start us off?"
Alfred
"Very well, since I'm the one who recommended it. *Ahem* The name is Alfred. I look forward to serving with all of you."
Fern
"My name is Fern. I too look forward to serving with all of you."
Caitlin
"My name is Caitlin, it's an honor to be serving alongside all of you."
Byrn
"My name is Byrn, yes I'm 13 years old, but I'm still very capable of fighting on the battlefield. Much more than those who failed to pass the exams."
Emiko
"Pfft, whatever. My name is Emiko."
Seiko
"My name is Seiko. I am a devoted follower of the goddess. I am absolutely blessed to be apart of this squad."

Everyone looks panicked except for Emiko and Seiko.

Caitlin
"An enemy?"
Alfred
"No. Who in the hell is this guy?"
Everyone looks over to the person Alfred is pointing at. It was a blonde boy. The boy had short blonde hair and light blue eyes. Compared to the other party members, the boy appeared to look foreign.

"Oh..I.."
Caitlin
"Woah, how did you get in here?"
?
"I uhh...I..was always here."
Alfred
"There is no way, we would have noticed you. Were you even with us during the mission?"

"Yes I was there umm fourth floor."
Alfred
"Well my word. Why didn't you say anything until now?"
?
"I uh...I don't know..I just."
Emiko
"Oh bother, his legs are already shaking. Looks like we have a teammate who is going to hold us back."
Seiko
"Now now, he is just nervous."
Fern
"I think that's Daniel."
Caitlin
"Wait, who?"
Fern
"If memory serves me correctly. The platoon leader assigned 7 people to (Player's name's) squad. I recall a Daniel being mentioned, but I never actually noticed him until, well, now I suppose. Am I correct, Daniel?"
Daniel
"Y-yes you're umm correct."
Alfred
"Well now that we know you exist, no need to be a shadow around here, alright?"
Daniel
"Oh...uh...yeah.."
Odilia walks into the room

"At ease soldiers. Your next task is to 'survey' the area."
Odilia had put up her fingers to quotate "survey".
Odilia leaves the room.
Alfred
"Oh hell yeah."
Caitlin
"Survey the area?"
Fern
"Essentially, it means do whatever the hell we want on our free time, until the next set of orders."
Caitlin
"Really?"
Byrn
"Actually yeah. I talked with a few soldiers and they said we would get a ton of breaks. Also, it would explain why she put emphasis on the 'survey'."
Caitlin
"So does this mean we can like..leave the base? or visit our families?"
Alfred
"It sure does. Hell yeah! Now to find out if they have a gym around here."
Some of the characters get up and make their way to the door.
Alfred
"Well leader, I guess this means you'll just contact us through our COMPs."
A few members leave. The only people left in the barracks are the protagonist, Fern, Daniel, and Seiko.
*"Perhaps I should make conversation with them"*
The player is then introduced to support conversations. You learn how support conversations can benefit you and your allies.

Unfortunately, during the time of darkness, humanity begins to crack and show their flaws. It's a shame really, how man misunderstands the goddess during desperate times. I, however, cannot curse humanity for losing its way. I can only continue to remain faithful to the goddess and share that faithfulness with others.

Seiko turns to the protagonist.

"Would you like to train with me next time? I want to use all the skills and tips you taught me during practice."
