AN: Currently, I'm writing this the day after I posted 'King of Nothing' and in that I mentioned going into surgery. Well, the surgery went well, not much happened, at least that I know of considering I was asleep for most of it, But most of this was written while still slightly under the effects of the medications they gave me, so be advised.

What better time to neglect writing Phantom than high off of pain meds?

On another note, Mockingbird did surprisingly well. In one chapter it's has surpassed Dark storms and it seems that won't change. Nevertheless, I plan on continuing both stories regardless.

I was planning on releasing this next week, and having another story out today, but I decided against it.

Reviews: Please leave me lots and lots of nice reviews, thank you.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, Fate or any other anime I use in this story. They belong to their respective owners: Mushashi Kishimoto and type moon…

Peace of Mind

From the moment he could remember, he was always different.

The people ostracized him, the kids avoided him, while their parents hated him. It was like that from the beginning.

He didn't care.

He truly didn't… because he had her.

Mother had told him that the kids knew not what they did, and he believed her. He didn't need them for their admiration as long as mother held his hand.

And she did.

She showed him the love only a mother could.

Growing up in the orphanage, Nono Yakushi had been the only one to be there for him. Sure, there had been the Hokage, but he hadn't always been there, he always had his duties that kept him busy.

She had showed him love, and he loved her all the same.

When he was five, he had given her a gift to show that love.

It was a simple, if a little poor, drawing of him and her.

But it had given her so much joy, and when he saw that beautiful smile on her face it made him smile as well.

But even when some of the older kids had destroyed the drawing, tearing it up to hundreds of pieces, mother still kept that smile. And although he was sad, his mother had cheered him up, and he had been inspired to create another drawing… and another, and another, and another.

He never stopped, and with every drawing he saw that smile once again, it was beautiful.

Eventually, he had gotten so good that his drawings made other people smile as well, and that same determination had eventually allowed him to make some friends.

Sai, a boy Hiruzen had introduced to him to due to their shared interests in art.

Shikamaru Nara, another boy he had made friends with, as the pineapple-haired boy had introduced him to the game of shogi. The game that, once Shikamaru had taught him the rules, the Nara hadn't been able to beat him once.

Jiji had said the feat was impressive, but he didn't understand it much.

But he didn't stop there, eventually he had made friends with many others as well; Choji, Kiba, Hinata, Ayame, Teuchi, Sakura, Ino, Lee, even Sasuke… and so many more.

Mother had been so happy when she had heard about it.

But all things come to an end.

And when he was eight, his mother had to leave. A bandaged man had arrived at the orphanage door like a grim reaper ready to escort her to the afterlife.

She told him she had leave.

But even when he cried, pleaded for her to stay, she still held her smile. He asked her why?

And she had told him… she wanted to help people.

She wanted to save lives, the lives of Konoha, of him, and by leaving she knew that she would be doing it, even if it resulted in her death... he never saw her ever again.

He continued to create his art.

But when Hiruzen had asked him if he wanted to be a Shinobi. He had turned the man down, knowing what the job would entail.

Hiruzen had understood that, so he had given him another option… become his apprentice. Not in the Shinobi arts, but in everything else.

The man had educated him in all things; politics, in the workings of chakra, in literature, in inventing, history, but most importantly… fuinjutsu, the sealing arts.

Hiruzen had told him of his Uzumaki heritage, and like most of his family, he had taken to it like a fish to water.

Even better, actually.

Hiruzen had called him a prodigy in the art, and it had actually been the first time he had even been called a genius.

It didn't take long for him to surpass the Hokage in the art, 2 years in fact.

It was then that Hiruzen Sarutobi had called back his apprentice, Jiraiya of the Sanin, a seal master, to further him in the art.

And even though Jiraiya hadn't always been there, he had been able to see the man as a father figure, and even Hiruzen as a grandfather.

That's why he had been hurt so much when Hiruzen had been killed in the Konoha crush by Orochimaru. A siege, being the apprentice of both Jiraiya and Hiruzen, he had been informed of.

And with his vast knowledge of the sealing arts, he had been tasked to develop a seal to suppress the Ichibi Jinchuriki. Something that he had developed with flying colors.

Distraught, that had been the first time he had met him.

The Kyuubi, his inner demon that had been sealed within his stomach since birth. But even when the Bijuu had scorned him, mocked him, and showed him if his inadequacies. But in the end... he still offered the Bijuu a hand of friendship.

Mother had always told him that love was better than hate, and he stood by that all this time,

He offered the Bijuu a friend..

Of course, he had been rejected, mocked once again, belittled, before the Kyuubi left him with a huff.

But the Kyuubi had been right though. He had been inadequate, he wasn't able to save his grandfather, nor the hundreds of others who had lost their lives to the Village hidden in the Sound.

That inspired him, inspired him to be better, to make his village better and to use his knowledge to save lives, just like his mother had wanted.

Creating seals never thought possible, ninja weapons that would make orochimaru green with envy.

Seals strong enough to keep even S-class ninja out of a village, Armour that nullified any chakra they had been struck with. Medical machines that revolutionized the industry, ones that enticed a certain Drunkard to return to the village.

Sure, it had taken him time, three years in fact, with him turning down a training trip from his father figure and master, Jiraiya.

Working closely with the new Fifth Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, the first two candidates turning down the position. Konoha had prospered greater than it even had before, so much so that it got the other Great Villages attention.

A five Kage summit had been called, with the rest of the villages claiming Konoha was preparing itself to declare war on the other villages.

Kakashi had been in a hard place, but the man still had allowed him to speak on his behalf.

Negotiating with the four Kages to give up his inventions for the betterment of the world.

They believed he wanted money, but he wanted something much more…

Peace.

And although it had been hard, the kages trying to back out at every turn. But they realized his mind was too valuable to give up, and in the end, he knew he had taking the first steps to last peace.

The five nations had been united, many other nations following suit with them. All the brightest minds all came together. The land of snow and Lightning sharing their own technology, the stone and wind their resources, the mist their knowledge on medicine, chakra and bloodlines.

It had baffled many that the five nations were uniting, but that's when he had met the most unexpected visitors…

Three Shinobi in cloaks of red clouds.

Nagato, Konan, and Itachi Uchiha. He knew of them, either through Sasuke or Jiraiya.

They had asked him how he had attained this peace, how he had broken the world's cycle of hatred?

They could see the five nation's resentment for one another dwindling, and they knew none of the villages would betray the union for fear of the others targeting them under the charter.

He knew he didn't stand a chance against them, not in a traditional fight at least. But even still… he had told them.

Why he had done what he had done, he stood for, and who he was as a person.

The three had left, satisfied, and the world had never heard from the Akatsuki again. But he had presumed that the three had killed the other members, but he didn't have any confirmation.

The world was at peace, and he had attained his dream, even the kyuubi could understand that. And so the fox took his hand.

"Are you sure about this, Naruto?" His inner demon asked even as he continued his work.

Swiping down with his brush as he continued to scribble across the floor.

Or at least, that's how it seemed, but to him, it was like there was a mosaic masterpiece made on the floor's tiles.

Fuinjutsu, the power of seals. The use of ink and kanji made to mold chakra in specific ways to perform practically anything thought possible. From sealing a simple kunai within a scroll uto sealing the very demon within his stomach, he could quite literally do anything given the right sealing formula.

Space-time techniques. One of the most coveted of the jutsu in the elemental Nations. Even summoning jutsu being the most common, an ability which allows the user to summon a summoning animal to their own location, were heavily sought out.

His father, Minato Namikaze, used the Hiraishin, or Flying Thunder God technique. The ability to allow him to mark anything he desired instantaneously transport his body to that location. Allowing him to destroy armies within seconds, earning him the Moniker the 'Yellow Flash'.

Originally, the Hiraishin technique was created by Tobirama Senju, it being lost to history. But then his father had reverse engineered the technique using sealing to perfect and improve the technique to master it even better than its original creator.

The power of Space time jutsu as well as the precision of Sealing techniques. His father had combined the two jutsu types to create something much more.

He planned to do the same.

So much so that he had spent nearly two months cooped up within his workshop, as he diligently marked the floor to create his ultimate sealing array.

Of course, Kakashi had come over several times to check on him, but each time he tried to observe his work Naruto could quite literally see the Hokage's eyes spinning.

And after all this time, he was nearly finished, all he had to do was…

"Done!" He shouted to the heavens, jumping in his place, but being ever so careful enough to not smear and mess up his sealing array.

"So it seems," Kurama remarked, although he didn't know himself. Being the son of the Sage of six paths, as well as having been sealed within two other Uzumaki seal masters. He had gained a fair bit of knowledge on the subject of fuinjutsu. Of course, he had taught Naruto all he knew. And with the blonde's usual determination, he had long since surpassed him in the subject.

"I must ask again, are you sure about this?" Kurama questioned again.

"Of course I am," Naruto told his fox friend idly, as he carefully observed his vast sealing array once again, looking for any possible mistakes. Of course, knowing him, he found none.

"The world is so big, Kurama," Naruto told his friend. "It's so large, with hundreds of acres of land, thousands of villages and millions of people. But even still, the earth is so small, don't you understand?" Naruto tried to explain.

Kurama didn't , but of course, he'd never tell Naruto that.

"There are so many other planets out there, trillions of stars, billions of other galaxies within our universe." Naruto revealed. "But even still, our universe is still so small." Kurama still didn't understand, but Naruto continued to ramble on.

"Think about it, there's our universe, but outside of it, there's another, and another, and another… There are so many more universes out there. So many different worlds, so different from our own, it's amazing." He told his friend, having found out this information during his initial tests for this project.

"And within those worlds there's also different earths. Different possibilities of our very reality itself. Imagine it, a world without war, a world within disease, a world where you don't have to wait 3 minutes to wait for your ramen to cool down, the possibilities are endless," the blonde stated.

"Perhaps, but why are you so interested in this subject?" Kurama asked, as Naruto realized he had been rambling.

"Don't you understand Kurama? There are endless possibilities, endless worlds filled with new wonders and adventures," the blonde said.

"True, but we both know there is more to it."

Naruto nervously scratched his cheek, "well, I…" he started, before he took a deep breath, he knew he had to tell Kurama this. And even if he didn't, the large fox could always just read his memories within his mindscape.

"Kurama, are you happy here?" Naruto suddenly asked.

As the fox thought about it, "No," he finally answered, as Naruto's hopes died down. "But I am content with staying with you, my friend," Kurama finished, as Naruto gained a smile.

"As am I, Kurama," the blonde told his friend.

"But the question is, Naruto, are you?" The fox asked,

As Naruto went silent once more, becoming deep in thought once more. "It's not that I'm not happy…" Naruto told his friend.

"But…" kurama prodded.

"I'm not really… needed, here anymore," he admitted.

Everyone else was happy.

Kakashi was getting married to shizune, Sasuke and Sakura as well, even Jiraiya and Tsunade were hitting it off nowadays. The clan heirs we're preparing to take up their roles and the Shinobi alliance science division were independent enough to not need him anymore.

And he had attained his dream.

Don't get him wrong, he was happy with that fact. But even still he felt that there was more out there, more to life and more possibilities to explore.

As the fox sighed, "Naruto, you are very much needed in this world," he told his friend. "Your village loves you, your friends do as well, and without you the world wouldn't be at peace like it is now. You attained the peace my father dreamed of, my father wanted the whole world."

"I know that, Kurama, it's just…" Naruto trailed off, before he took a deep breath, looking at the sealing array before him, what it stood for… "I've always wanted to help people, it's my life's dream. But out there, in the vastness of the many universes, there are people in need, people who need my help… so why shouldn't I help them?" He explained, as his friend remains quiet.

And it took a few minutes of silence for Kurama to process his words. "Heh, you never go through the easy route, do you?" Naruto could practically feel the giant fox grinning within his mindscape.

Most people would view this differently. If there were an infinite amount of world out there, then they would feel the lives of those and even himself would ultimately be pointless. After all, what was the point of living, making a decision, or even doing anything at all where there was an infinite amount of yourselves doing the same. What was the point of saving someone where there was an infinite amount of the same person not being saved somewhere else.

But not Naruto, he viewed everyone he helped as precious, irreplaceable, that's just what made the blonde, Naruto.

Naruto returned the grin with a small smile, "I never do," he told him.

"You couldn't just go out get yourself a girlfriend, settle down, or something, like that old-pervert wanted you to?" Kurama tried to argue.

Naruto blushed slightly at the thought, before he looked down slightly, "I can't do that, at least not now…" he admitted. "Besides, I don't think there's really anyone who would like me that way."

Kurama rolled his eyes at the blonde's obliviousness. Hinata had practically had a crush on his since the start, Ino developed one a few years later, and he knew for a fact that the princesses of demon and spring country practically purposed a marriage between the two. It was only the blonde's obliviousness and naivety with women that caused him to not see that.

"You seem to have already made up your mind on this," Kurama remarked, changing the subject.

Naruto nodded, "yeah, I have."

Kurama understood, there was nothing changing the blonde's mind at this point. "Then start the seals up already."

The blonde smiled, as he prepared to start things up.

Once activated, this seal would break a hole in the barriers between here and another nearby universe.

Of course, just breaking a hole in the gap wouldn't do much, as the hole would easily repair itself if given enough time, reality dictated as such. Well, that, or it would create a break between the two worlds, one that would only expand in size, causing the two worlds to collide as they imploded in on themselves. At least, according to his calculations, it would, he hoped that wasn't the case.

Of course, this seal would prevent that from happening.

It would stabilize the hole between the two worlds, constantly maintaining the stability of the break in reality, and keeping it active long enough for him, or any other person, to go to and between both spaces.

Or so he hoped.

But as he placed his palm upon the center of the seal matrix near the wall, his friend spoke one final thought.

"Naruto, how can you be so sure this will work?" Kurama asked.

As Naruto looked up, staring at the wall for what seemed like a full minute, as he then shrugged. "I don't."

There were no guarantees this would work.

Kurama grinned once more, this was so like his friend. "Do it," he told him.

As Naruto pushed chakra into his palm, activating the seal in its entirety.

All of the runes and Kanji glowed a mystical purple, lighting up like the vast arrays of stars in the sky. In many ways, this was beautiful, but he knew that that beauty would pale in comparison to what he was about to see.

The void between worlds had to be magnificent, he just knew it, and he couldn't hope to paint the scene when he got the chance.

And it was on the tips of his toes and with bated breath, he watched the array's components unfold, each one performing their set task flawlessly, until…

Nothing.

All the seals darkened once more, lifelessly returning to the simple ink on the floor it had always been.

Naruto sighed, "another failure," he noted.

He wouldn't let this stop him, even if he failed one hundred more times, he wouldn't let that stop him. He would traverse the cosmos, do what hadn't done before, and help people wherever he could.

And as he was about to turn his back, to inspect what had been gone wrong, once again he blinked.

For right in front of him, for the briefest of seconds, he saw something.

A simple arc of lighting, one that stemmed across a small portion of the room. It was so small, in fact, that not many people would see it, but he did.

And then another, another arc of electricity flashed, this time larger than the one before. And then another, and then another, and another and another.

The flashes soon engulfed the room, as Naruto stared out in both a mixture of confusion and shock at it all.

"Naruto, is it supposed to do that?" Kurama questioned rather worriedly.

"No, it's not," Naruto told him honestly.

The flashes were only growing more massive, and eventually, they grew so large that the whole village could sense the sheer power emanating from it.

Kurama got even more worried, shouting "Naruto! You have to get out of there—!" But he was soon interrupted, as Naruto was engulfed in a luminating neon blue light,

And as the light died down…

Nobody else within the room could be seen.

Elsewhere.

"Da Vinci, are you sure about this?" The head of the medical department and acting director of Chaldea asked aloud.

His companion, a spunky brunette Caster class servant, only smirked. "Romani, don't you trust the work of a genius?" She questioned.

The orange haired doctor rubbed his head, "Well, Da Vinci, it's not that I don't trust you…" he trailed off, before he was interrupted.

"Good! We can get this thing ready to go!" She chirped, clapping her hands together as she inspected her work.

A machine capable of refining the summoning process of servants.

Currently, summoning took a massive amount of energy, as well as an inconceivable amount of luck.

Chaldea, a secret observatory, headed by the Animusphere magus family, whose main goal was to prevent the eradication of humanity, had only been able to summon a total of 3 servants.

The first servant, one summoned by Chaldea's founder, Marisbury Animusphere, whose identity was currently unknown. Herself, Leonardo da Vinci. And the servant connected to Mash Kyrielight, a Demi-servant in their care.

As of right now, they were only able to summon servants while they had a circle connected to the local leyline, and even then that servant would only be temporary

She planned to change that.

With the Grand order, she needed to change that, quick.

And that's why she readied her palm, the needed saint quartz had already been put in place, the machinery forged to perfection, positioning her hand upon the level in which to activate it.

She saw Romani's soft nod, affirming her in her work and giving her the go ahead.

She pulled it.

Both Romani and Da Vinci watched as sparks flew throughout the air. Triple glowing rings formed around the summoning array, spinning to life as they coalesced into the center as rainbows flew through the air. A bright flash blinded them, forcing the two to cover their eyes from the damage. Until…

Nothing.

Absolute silence permeated through the room, as the glows died down. Smoke billowing out from the summoning circle.

Romani blinked, "Nothing?" He questioned, not being able to see what had just happened.

"Shhh" Da Vinci shushed him, holding her fingers to her lips as she watched with bated breath.

The smoke died down, and she could see what had just happened…

"Kurama, I have a feeling we aren't in Konoha anymore," a voice remarked, as da Vinci could place a face to the sound.

And what she saw could be labeled as nothing more than an Adonis.

Blonde hair that reminded her of the sun, as it spiked in all sorts of directions. Tan skin, showing he spent much time in the sun. And the most peculiar, adorable whisker marks across his face that made her want to caress them with a fervent vigor.

Her eyes went down, as she trailed his strong muscles that were defined, but not overly muscular to where it was a turn off.

But the most striking thing were his eyes.

The bluest and most pure cerulean eyes she had ever seen, as they looked like they were made out of the most precious jewels. Crafted by a master artisan years into his work.

She could feel the familiar heat within her loins at just a glance at the male.

She likes what she was seeing.

Da Vinci definitely wouldn't let Ritsuka take this one.

She neared him.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head, not fulling being able to comprehend his surroundings as his eyes adjusted to the new level of light.

But when he was finally able to comprehend his surroundings, he blinked, before his cheeks instantly lit up in a bright red hue.

His heart thumped, faster than it ever had before.

For right in front of him was practically the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes upon. And he had seen many beautiful women in his life, Hinata, Ino, even Princess Koyuki, all of them were put to shame by this woman.

Luscious brown hair, brilliant blue eyes, silky smooth pale skin and a heart shaped face. She wore an elegant outfit, woven in threads of reds, blues and golds that did well to compliment her own appearance.

It was like staring right at a masterpiece, painted straight from the hands of the gods.

And she was… GETTING REALLY CLOSE TO HIM!!!

"Mine!" She shouted, grabbing his chin, her eyes filled with desire like a predator ready to hunt, as she pressed her soft lips against his. He could even feel the woman snake her tongue in there!

He could feel all sorts of emotions, some he couldn't quite place, as his mind went blank.

And he did the only thing he could think of in this situation…

He fainted.

The End.

An: And so geniuses collide for the grand order, rather literally in fact, in da vinci's case.

Man, being new to fate/go and finally getting onto the lostbelts, I have to say, that end of the prologue hit hard. Not going to spoil it too much, but it was definitely surprising seeing how abrupt it was.

Expect to see a chapter on that in the future, when I get to it…

Anyway, this Naruto is a bit of a cinnamon roll, in many aspects. And being thrown in the Chaos of Da Vinci-chan herself.

I like da Vinci, she was entertaining in practically every scene she was in, even if she's mostly used for info dumps.

As for her origin and her originally being a male? I can expect that might be a bit weird for some of you. Well, there's an easy solution, and that is…

"Don't worry about it!"-Giguk

Naruto not being from earth and having no knowledge of our world, he will never, EVER, find out about that… I kinda want to tell him (could be funny).

Eh, Ignorance is bliss.

Anyways, I hope to show more interactions between the two.

This will probably be a pretty short series, having 4-6 chapters, and I'll definitely skip over a lot of events from grand order to points I feel need to be worth mentioning.

Anyways, if you got this far, thank you, and let me know your thoughts on their story so far.

As honestly I'm not sure if I will continue this.

And I may end up posting another one-shot in a few hours.

Leave me lots and lots of nice reviews
