Jake: So, Rocket, what will happen to the Guardians now?
Rocket: We'll continue our adventures, as always. But I'll miss this place. Wakanda is something else.
Jake: Yeah, it's a special place. I'm glad you got to experience it.
Rocket: Me too, bud.
Ramonda: (enters) Excuse me, I don't mean to intrude.
Shuri: (appears) What's going on?
Ramonda: I saw Rocket's gun, and I thought--
Shuri: (notices Ramonda's concern) It's okay, Mom. Rocket wouldn't hurt us.
Ramonda: My apologies. But... whose thing is that? (points to a nearby communicator)
Shuri: (irritated) That "thing" belongs to Jake's adopted father, Rocket Raccoon.
Ramonda: (embarrassed) I didn't know. I'm sorry.
Rocket: (puts down his gun) Don't worry about it, Your Majesty. It's all good.
Ramonda: (bows) Thank you. I'll leave you three alone.
(Ramonda exits)
Rocket: (to Shuri) Sorry to freak you out, kid. I tend to forget that not everyone is used to my weapons.
Shuri: (smiling) Don't worry about me. I've seen weirder things than a raccoon with a gun.
Jake: (laughs) She's not wrong.
Rocket: (chuckles) You got me there.
(Jake and Rocket have a quiet moment together before Rocket has to leave)
Rocket: (to Jake) Take care of yourself, okay? And keep an eye on little Shuri for me.
Jake: (grinning) Of course. She's in good hands.
Rocket: (pauses) Jake... thanks for everything. For taking care of me and Groot when we needed it.
Jake: (smiling) You didn't need to thank me, Rocket. You guys are family to me.
Rocket: (emotional) You have no idea how much that means to me.
(Jake and Rocket share a hug)
Shuri: (peeking in) Aww, how cute. (teasingly) Don't get too sappy on us, guys.
Rocket: (smiling) Too late, kid.
(Jake and Shuri chuckle)
Rocket: (to Shuri) Take care of this old man, okay?
Jake: old I am 20 I say
Shuri: (playfully) Don't worry, I'll keep him in line.
Rocket: (grinning) I bet you will.
(Rocket waves goodbye before leaving)
Jake: (smiling) All right, let's go back to the center of Wakanda.
Shuri: (enthusiastic) Yes! I want to show you the latest tech project I've been working on.
Jake: (excited) Ooh, I can't wait to see it.
(The two leave hand the room, ready for more adventures in Wakanda)
