Jake: Hey T'Challa, how's it going?
T'Challa: It's going well, Jake. I wanted to talk to you about something.
Jake: Sure, what's up?
T'Challa: I want to get to know my sister's boyfriend a little better. What happened between you and Shuri last week?
Jake: Oh, that. Well, we had a bit of a disagreement, but we worked it out. Shuri and I are good now. About what happened last time with my old handlers
Shuri: (Walking in) Hey guys, what's going on?
T'Challa: I was just talking to Jake about what happened between you two last week.
Shuri: Oh yeah, we worked everything out. It's all good.
T'Challa: Jake, I want to know more about you. Could you tell me about your past?
Jake: Sure thing. After I left the Guardians, I took down a space Hydra division on my own. It was a pretty intense operation, but I managed to pull it off. Then, I went to college on Xandar for a while before heading back to Earth to attend college in New York, thanks to Tony Stark.
T'Challa: I see. You have quite the impressive background, Jake. I can understand why my sister is so fond of you.
Jake: Thanks, T'Challa. I appreciate your approval.
T'Challa: Of course. I'm protective of my family and friends, and it seems like you have earned my respect as both.
Jake: I won't let you down.
