Hello! Welcome to my brain child, I currently have an obsession over Mary X Arthur. This hasn't left me alone for a minute. I don't really have a title at the moment so title ideas are welcome. I'm not too entirely sure how long this story will last, I'm still writing it but I wanted to share this and wanted to hear what you think. Please be kind as I don't have a beta reader. I am using the A.I.

Mary Stuart, Queen of the Scots, found herself hesitant to board the ship that would take her back to her country—a land very foreign to her since she had only known France. Sebastian who had boarded before her looked back at her.

"Mary, I know this is hard to leave behind, but your destiny calls." Mary gave a sad wry smile as she walked onto the ship to set sail. In the distance dark grey clouds grew more dense.

"Queen Mary, there is a massive storm in the seas. "The captain mention to the Queen but she knew that through Lola this was only chance she had. "I understand but we need to make this trip." The captain nodded his head then told the men to set sail.

The seas were torrential as they sailed back to Scotland; tossing and turning them, almostly like the seas had different plans for them. Inevitably, the ship capsized, sending people out into the sea. Mary couldn't help but think that would be one hell of a way to die. She then found herself on land; The storm had apparently sent them almost to the sands of the shore then washed them up. Mary lay there, tired, then passed out from exhaustion. When morning came, Mary slowly woke up and looked around. Most of their belongings had made it to shore. She found Sebastian lying in the sand. Silently praying that he was still alive, she jumped up and raced over to him.

"Bash! Bash!" Mary shook the young man, hoping to wake him up. She heard a moan, then relief - he was alive. He slowly sat up and looked at her wearily.

"Remind me to never get on a ship again," Sebastian joked. She gave a snort of agreement.

Mary looked up to see knights riding on horses in the woods. She saw a crest that she had never seen before - a dragon. A concerned look came across her face as she tapped Sebastian's shoulder and pointed.

Arthur Pendragon was riding around with his knights on patrol when they came upon a beach where a dark-haired woman and dark-haired man were sitting. They appeared battered and disheveled, with sand in their hair and wet clothing. Arthur called out to his men to head toward the beach to see if they could offer any assistance. He had a feeling that this was important.

"My lady, are you all right?" The prince looked the lady up and down.

"As much as I can be," she said. "My ship took a toss and I'm here with my…" She looked at Sebastian.

"Bodyguard," Sebastian quickly responded. They did not know the man, so precautions were in order. Mary nodded.

Arthur looked a little skeptical but let it go. "Welcome to Camelot. I am Arthur Pendragon." Mary looked mildly confused, unable to figure out how she had traveled into a fairy tale. She remembered the nuns back in France telling her about Camelot as a fairy tale that had dragons and magic. Arthur broke Mary's train of thought; bringing her back. "Does the lady have a name?"

"Mary, Your Majesty," Mary said giving a bow, thinking that a different name might be confusing for her. "I traveled here from France."

"What is a French lady doing in Camelot?" Arthur questioned her.

Mary had to think quickly. "Sire, I left France after my husband passed away." Mary gave a sad smile. "I have come to start anew, but my ship has been destroyed, and my belongings are either washed ashore or at the bottom of the ocean."

Arthur looked around and saw several trunks that had clearly been washed up by the waves. He glanced at one of his men and instructed him to ride back and bring the carriage. Arthur then turned to a young man with dark hair and blue eyes. "Merlin, please be a good servant and assist the lady with her belongings," Arthur said. Merlin rolled his eyes at Arthur before dismounting from the horse he was riding. Sebastian helped merlin with gathering the items.

"My lady, I shall have a couple of my men search around the shores for the next couple of days for any more items that may have washed up." Mary looked surprised that Arthur, Prince of Camelot, would be interested in assisting her; he didn't even know her

"I am most grateful, Your Majesty," Mary bowed her head in gratefulness.

"I am curious," he said. "I have never introduced myself as the Prince of Camelot; how is it that you know?"

"When you introduced yourself, I knew that your name was the son of Uther Pendragon, The King of Camelot." Mary studied him as she shivered from the cold of being wet. Arthur shrugged off his cloak and put it around Mary, who gave the prince a grateful smile.

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

Arthur seemed interested in Mary and asked, "Does the lady have somewhere to stay?"

"I, unfortunately, do not have one. I was going to find an inn to stay in," Mary quickly said. Just then the carriage arrived.

"Nonsense, I will speak with my father and allow you to stay here until you regain your bearings."

"Your Majesty, that is certainly very kind, but I couldn't intrude," Mary said, smiling. She then turned to the two men who had placed the items on the back of the carriage, thanking them.

Arthur insisted, "You were headed there anyway; why not be comfortable in the castle?" Mary finally caved, "We are most appreciative."

Arthur helped Mary into the carriage, and then Sebastian got in. Once they were both settled, Sebastian knocked on the roof to signal for them to drive on while Arthur and his knights rode along with them, making sure safe travels.
