Minho and Alex walked around the perimeter of the camp hand in hand, just enjoying each other's company. They came to a little path that led up a part of the mountain The Right Arm was camped under. They followed the path that led to a little ledge. It was a beautiful view. Alex could see the camp under them rolling hills and the sunset.

"It's beautiful!' Alex whispered, walking to the edge. There was a slight breeze, that lifted her long hair. She smiled as the wind played across her face and her hair. She turned to look back at Minho he had his hands in his pockets, staring at her, his eyes dancing all over her.

She cocked her head, "what?"

"Just ..you." He mumbled, shrugging his shoulders, "You... you're...gorgeous." He ran a hand through his hair, "Alex...I love you...so much!" He stumbled over his words, but had taken a few steps closer to her. Alex felt her face heat up. She felt self conscious when he said things like this.

Why do I always doubt myself when he says sweet things? He clearly loves me. So what's your problem?

He gently tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. He leaned in, looking at her lips. Alex could feel her heart skip a beat.

Does he really want to kiss me after so many guys had their hands and mouth all over you? Why would he want me?

"Hey. Stop those self sabotaging thoughts, Sunshine." He whispered. He hadn't pulled away, but he didn't move closer either. He was waiting for her to make the next move.

This is why I love him. He's patient with me. He's gentle and respectful. Protective. And shucken fiiiiine on the eyes!

With her heart racing, palms sweating, she pushed up on her toes and closed the gap. When her lips met his, she felt butterflies. She felt safe. She felt at home. She smiled into their kiss. Minho wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her close. Alex wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Their kiss was slow and gentle.

"I'm finally home." She murmured against his lips, "I missed you so shucken much!"

"I watched you fall... I heard you screaming...I thought you died. I didn't want to keep going. I really wanted to lay down and stay there forever." He had pulled away and placed his forehead on hers. Noses rubbing against each other.

"Now that we're here. We can...maybe think about...the future..our future..." She whispered cautiously, nervous about his reaction.

Minho smiled. "Yes! I owe you a proper date. It's not the ocean sunset...but what about a mountain view sunset?"

Alex laughed softly. "It's acceptable."

"Good. Now come sit with me..."

He sat down, with his legs dangling over the edge, he patted the ground beside him. Alex sat down and scooted over to him. He laid a hand on her thigh. Alex wrapped her arms around his big muscular arm, hugging it, she laid her head on his shoulder. They sat quiet, enjoying the view.

"So, Flash. Now that we aren't running for our lives, we need to get to know each other, again...like..the big stuff." Alex suggested.

"The big stuff? Uh oh." He cocked an eyebrow at her.

"Favorite colour?" Alex asked.

"Alex! That's personal! I think you're crossing a line, Sunshine!" He teased, with a laugh. Alex giggled back at him.

"No, seriously. What's your favorite colour?"

He was quiet for a moment, he ran a hand through his hair, "Hmm, probably green. You?"

"Orange. Like that soft orange in the sunset." She pointed to the cotton candy clouds.

"Okay, I have one for you," Minho said, tapping his chin, "Favorite food? Though.. I think I know."

"Bacon! Fry's bacon." She whispered dreamily. Minho laughed, Alex joined in.

"Okay, yours? And I think I know.." She elbowed him.

"Pancakes!"

"What? No! Min! You're supposed to say Cheeseburgers!" Alex yelped. "Pancakes? Really?"

"Well, I don't really remember what cheeseburgers taste like! And don't diss the cakes, baby cakes! They're delicious!"

"Okay..fine! It's a date! I'll take you for cheeseburgers!"

"Good that!" He replied happily. "Okay, here's a deep question!" He paused for a dramatic effect. "If..when..uh..if we had kids..." he cleared his throat, and ran a hand through his hair again.

"Yes, Flash, when and if we have kids..?" She encouraged him.

"How many would you want? How many mini Me's would you want?"

"Oooh, if they are our kids..probably only 2 or 3! Could you imagine a mix of us running around? We're mouthy, reckless, sarcastic... that would be pure chaos!" Alex trailed off, with a big smile, "Wait, Minho are you proposing?" She giggled.

"Oh shuck no!" He said quickly, shaking his head. Alex cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Wait...what..what I mean is..I'm only like 18! You're like 17! Not yet, we're too young! I love you, and I absolutely want to be with you forever, but not married yet! I want to be just us for a bit..ya know? Take you on a real date and klunk..!" He rushed out, his face going pink.

Alex laughed, "Min, I'm teasing, Slim it! I know we're too young right now! Some day though."

"Oh...oh good." He sighed, " Someday. Good that."

Wow...Married to Minho? Grow old with him beside me? kids with Minho?

She glanced at him, he had a big goofy grin on his face, his eyes glassy, watching the sunset.

"You would make a great dad!" She blurted. She instantly felt the heat rising in her face, the blush was strong, she looked away sheepishly, swinging her feet.

"Ya think so?"

She looked back at him, a shocked expression on her face.

"Of course! You...you're patient when you teach someone something new. If can handle all Tommy's bloody questions, you can handle kids' constant questions. You're gentle and kind. You're fun, make me laugh all the time, but know when to be serious and strict. You love the people around you, care for them and keep them safe. You have a stubborn streak but that keeps your determination and drive alive. You're curious about the things around you, and I think our kids would have a lot of fun with you, you big drama queen! And I know they would always be safe, 'cause I'm always safe with you. I trust you. You take care of me, so I know you would take care of our family..." She finished rambling.

He had sat listening to her, a smile on his beautiful face, showing off his white teeth, his eyes squinted into half moons, his dimple showing. His thumb gently and absent mindedly rubbing her thigh.

"Jeeze there Shanket, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you feel for me pretty hard!" He teased, and gently placed a kiss on her temple.

Alex turned even more pink, and twirled a piece of hair around her fingers nervously. She remembered her first day in the Glade, she had tripped down the stairs and he caught her before face planting and he teased her about falling for him.

"You have no idea, shuck face!" She whispered and squeezed his arm. He was quiet , his goofy smile slipped a little, he ran a hand through his hair. He started to fidget .

"Hey...Alex.." He cleared his throat and tried again. "Umm I..may have written another song...but I don't have a guitar.." He blushed, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Can I hear it anyways?" Alex perked up. He pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"When did you write a song, Flash?" Alex wondered, tilting her head to look at him.

"When we were in the crank city, after we got separated, I needed something for my hands and mind to do, I almost broke." His voice broke a little at the end. Alex squeezed his bicep, she was still holding.

"I'm here now, Love." She cooed. She stretched her neck and gently kissed his neck.

He fiddled with the paper in his hands.

"If I close my eyes, and I'm not lookin' at cha, will it be easier?" She teased. He laughed lightly. He twisted his head and kissed her forehead. He took a slow steady inhale and let it out.

While Alex watched the sunset, on a mountain with the person she loved the most in the world, she listened to his beautiful rich voice sing a song he wrote just for her.

The world is shucked up...but right now life is perfect.

She sighed happily. A smile on her lips.

"That was beautiful." She whispered.

They both sat in comfortable silence, just enjoying each other's company. The sunset was beautiful, orange and pink, rays shooting across the sky. The clouds were soft and fluffy, like cotton candy. Alex sat up, she had a funny warm tingling feeling in the pit of her stomach. Minho turned his head to watch her.

"Min. I love you. I love you so much. And now that we are safe with the Right Arm...can we do everything we talked about? Have a home and life and everything? Together?"

He turned his body so he was facing her. He reached a hand and cupped her check, rubbing a thumb over her cheek bone that was still bruised.

"Yes. All of it. I made a promise and I intend to keep it. Just when we paint our house, no white walls!"

"Good that!" She giggled, "I've seen too much white!"

She couldn't control the giddiness, the feeling of finally being safe. Being free. She could actually breathe. She could dream. She flung herself into Minho's arms. He toppled backwards, with a deep laugh, right from his gut.

"Whoa there Sunshine! Maybe not tackling me by the edge of a cliff!"

He wrapped her up in his arms, Alex laughed as he rolled them away from the cliff edge.

He was hovering over her, in a push up position, his arms locked, all the muscle in his arms and shoulders defined.

"Hmm. Now where were we?" He smirked down at her, with that good old sly sexy smirk, he bent his arms and kissed her lips quickly, pushing back up. She smiled shyly up at him. He did it again, the kisses were quick, gently barley there, brushes of his lips , but he was just showing off now, doing push ups overtop of her. She hummed.

"We were here. Where I feel safe." Alex whispered. She looked up at him through her long eyelashes, and smiled. She wrapped her hands around his waist and pulled him closer, he bent his arms, still hovering over her, all his muscles tense. She kissed him, slowly. She could feel his arms tremble when she brushed her lips against his. He slowly lowered onto the ground, beside her, but still kind of on top of her and pulled her close, so their faces were only a few centimeters from each other.

She ran her fingers through his thick soft hair. She pulled his head, closing the gap and kissed him. The self doubting abusive voice had gone silent. She loved him. And he loved her. That's all that mattered at the moment.

Their gentle kisses slowly got more passionate. Having to break away to gasp for air. Alex's hair was now a mess, Minho kept tangling his hands into her hair, but so was Minho's. Both their jackets lay beside them on the ground, feeling too warm despite the cool evening air. Minho's body heat kept her warm, and the warm tingling in her body. He broke their kiss again, to catch his breath, looking down at her, his eyes hungrily eating every detail of her face. He trailed gentle kisses over her nose and cheeks, and up her nose to her forehead. She appreciated how gentle and tender he was with her. Her hands found the hem of his shirt, and slipped her hands under. She felt his muscles tense at her tender touch. She heard his sharp intake of breath. She tilted her head just a little to find his eyes.

"Is..is this...Okay?" She asked, suddenly timid.

Before she would have smirked at him and done it again, just to make him squirm. However, after what happened in the red room, what was done to her without permission, that experiance had changed her, broken her. Her confidence and self worth was shattered and she was scared to be vulnerable. Sure she could fake it in a group, like teasing Newt and sticking her hand in his back pocket...but this..being vulnerable, scared her.

He looked her in the eye and nodded, "Ya, Sunshine. But I should be asking you that. Are you okay with this?"

She slowly, hesitantly nodded.

"Alex? If you're not, please tell me. I need you to tell me if you feel unsafe."

She slid her hands out from his shirt and pushed gently on his chest. He sat up on his knees, his chest was still rising rapidly.

"Okay." He nodded, "Okay. We'll slim it." He ran a hand through his hair.

Man that's so hot.

Alex smiled at him. She knew he would respect her.

"No, there Flash. There was a shuck rock in my back." She smiled at him.

"Ah.. " He chucked quietly, and reached for her again. She let him pull her close, she crawled into his lap, facing him. His hands held her face, running his warm calloused thumbs over her bruised checks.

His hands slid down her neck, over her shoulders and down her side. She felt her body tense for a second, he froze. She took a small breath and relaxed her muscles. He slowly pulled her even closer, closing any gaps between them, but he kept his hands clamped on her hips, not going anywhere else.

Alex ran her hands down his chest to the hem of his shirt again and slid her chilly hands onto his warm torso. He sucked in a sharp breath. Then smirked at her. He leaned in to kiss her again, slowly and gently running his tongue over her bottom lip. She slowly moved her hands up his back, the shirt following, exposing his bare skin.

She pulled away again when she felt him shiver. Scared she did something wrong.

"Alex? Are you okay?"

She took a shaky breath, and nodded slowly.

"Just...just scared. I don't want to do something wrong or ... or cross a line or something." She replied, her voice shaking.

"I'd let you know. I'm the one who should be asking you these things. And you will tell me, right?" He paused studying her face, "right Sunshine? I love you. I don't want to break your trust in me."

"Yes." She breathed.

He kissed her gently, pulling her close again. She slipped her hands back under his shirt. This time she tugged his shirt up only breaking their kiss long enough to tug it off. He shivered when the chill air hit his skin.

"Are you sure?" He asked again. Alex nodded, her chest heaving. She knew he would stop if and when she said to. She got a warm tingling feeling in the pit of her stomach and her heartbeat picked up, spreading warmth throughout her body.

She pulled her own shirt off.

She leaned forward to whisper in his ear, "That answer your question?"

His large hand found the small of her back, and pushed her closer. Her bare stomach could feel his muscles tensing and the warmth radiation off him. His lips found hers again. This time they were both hungry for more. His tongue slipped into her mouth, hers doing the same. His hands explored her back and tangled into her hair. Her hands trailed up and down his back and sides, finally weaving her fingers into his hair. He tried pulling her even closer.

The warm tingling feeling spread from her stomach and flowed through her body. She could feel Minho's heart racing, all his muscles were tense. He was hungry for more. She wanted more.

"GUYS?! Have you seen-" A voice from behind them.

- AAAAHHHHH!" he screamed.

Alex ripped herself away, startled. Minho twisted his head around, she was still pushed right up against him.

"Thomas?! ...You better...have a shucken good reason... for being here!" Minho yelled between his panting.

Thomas was standing at the edge of the path, his hands clamped over his eyes.

"I just came to see if I could find Tes...and I saw you guys...didn't realize what you were doing!" He whined.

"And you didn't think when we left, we wanted to be alone?!" Alex fumed. "Dude I knew you were slow...but come on man! Put some brain cells together and work with me here!" Her breathing was also ragged. The warm tingling feeling was disappearing.

"Agreed." Minho growled.

"Really Alex? That was mean! But...seriously, have you seen her? She left the fire and no one can find her." He peeked through his fingers, looking at the shirtless couple, wrapped around each other.

"Seriously, the things I shucken do for you Tommy! Give me a second." She huffed.

"Hey!" He said slyly, "Be nice to me! I took a bullet for you!"

"You're forever going to hold that over my head aren't you?!" Alex questioned.

"Yep!" He popped the p.

Alex rested her forehead on Minho's slightly sweaty chest for a moment, his heart still beating wildly. He kissed the top of her head.

"Soon we can have our own place." He whispered.

She hummed in satisfaction.

"With a big ol' lock! And a DO NOT DISTURB sign."

Alex got up from Minho's lap, put her shirt and jacket back on. Minho did the same.

"All right Thomas, let's go find your girlfriend." Minho huffed.

"I'll take Mr Oblivious up the hill a bit, want to back track to the fire?" Alex suggested.

"Sure babe." Minho kissed her cheek quickly and headed back down the path, she watched his retreating form for a second, then turned to face Thomas, "Come on."

"Alex..sorry..for uh walking in on you guys. Promise I didn't see anything! And I wont tell Newt.." Thomas muttered, a pink tinge across his cheeks.

Alex sighed annoyed, "It's fine Tommy...whatever. There was nothing to see anyways...Just frustrating that anytime we finally have some time to be alone, we're interrupted, like we had a grand total of 20 minutes alone. Just...want some privacy. Ya know?"

He didn't say anything, just looked at the ground dejected.

"So, how are you feeling? How's that shoulder?" She changed the subject.

"Fine. It's stiff, sore. But way better! These guys have some crazy medical equipment!"

"Hey! We tried! We honestly did our best!" She paused, "I owe you, Tommy. I owe you my life..." She said quietly.

"Alex..you're like my annoying pain in my butt mouthy little sister. I don't remember much, but I know we were thick as thieves. And now I can hold this over your mouthy, annoying head, ya shank!" He replied, putting an arm around her. Alex just chuckled, wrapping her arm around his waist.

"You literally took a bullet for me... seriously, I owe you."

They had followed the path up to the next ledge, where they finally found Teresa. She was standing at the edge, her body was stiff and straight, looking out over the last rays of sun.

"Tes, what are you doing up here? You scared us!" Alex scolded, dropping her arm from Thomas and walked towards her.

"I. Was..just thinking." She said, her words sounded forced.

"All right, we'll let you be alone." Thomas said and turned to leave.

"Tes? Are you okay?" Alex asked cautiously, reaching a hand towards her.

She didn't respond, but Alex heard a short intake of breath, followed by a halting sniff, like she was crying, but trying to hide it.

"Teresa?" Thomas asked, coming to stand beside Alex. His face scrunched in concern and confusion.

Teresa slowly turned, her movements jerky. Alex withdrew her hand. Teresa's eyes were red rimed, as tears slipped down her cheeks, her lip trembled and her hands shook. She had a look of complete terror on her face.

"Teresa...Tes?" Alex whispered, her stomach forming knots.

What's wrong? What's going on? Something bad is gonna happen...

Her eyes were darting all over the place, but her body was still as stone, tears continued to fall, her chest heaved with a stifled sob. Alex took a step forward, going to wrap her best friend up in a hug.

"NO!" She screamed, "Get away from me!"

Thomas grabbed Alex and pulled her back.

"Teresa, what...?" Thomas sputtered.

"No," she whispered again.

Alex felt like she was punched in the gut. The three of them stood still, no one moved. Alex and Thomas glanced at each other and then back to Teresa. Alex watched as her body shook and jerked, the way she seemed to almost struggle against something...Something unseen...

Oh shucken hell no!

"Tommy...she looks like Alby...and Gally.." she breathed to Thomas, who's eyes went wide with terror.

Teresa jerked her body forwards, and was in front of them in two long strides, she threw her arms around Alex and Thomas and hugged them tight.

"I'm sorry!" She sobbed.

She jerked away like someone had pulled her backwards.

"Get .. away from me!" She panted, tears still flowing down her face. "You all need to get away...from me...THEM!"

"What are you saying?" Thomas asked, his face scrunched up in confusion

"I want...you to... understand!"

"Understand what?" Alex asked, but she had a good idea what.

"Why I did it." She choked another sob.

"Teresa..." Thomas whispered, worry and terror laced his voice, 'What have you done?"

Alex heard the sound of chopper blades and engines. She watched as Teresa's body shook violently, and then stopped suddenly.

"Please don't fight them!" Her voice now sounded robotic, no emotion, her eyes had lost all life to them. But they were still red and puffy, a tear leaked out and slid down her cheek and fell to the ground.

"What have you done?" Thomas yelled desperately.

"No Tommy, not what SHE did ..it's what THEY did!" Alex corrected him in a hurried panic.

The first helicopter came into view. Thomas took off towards the camp. Alex heard a choking noise, and turned back to Teresa who had fallen to her hands and knees, panting. Her eyes met Alex, there was terror and.. regret in her shining eyes.

"Go...Save...them...I'm..sorry!" She choked.

Alex spun on her heel, and sprinted to catch up with Thomas. Alex felt horrible leaving a struggling Teresa behind. It must have taken so much willpower and strength to break away and warn them. That took bravery.

WICKED. It's always WICKED. They ruin everything, all the time.

Alex and Thomas ran as fast as they could, yelling and calling for their friends, their family.

"MINHO?"

"NEWT?"

"SONYA?"

"CHLOE?"

"FRY?"

The first explosion happened beside them, throwing Alex onto her side. The tent ignited with an instant roar of fire.

Please, be no one inside!

Thomas pulled her to her feet.

"We gotta find them! Where are they?" Thomas asked desperately.

"I don't know!" Alex yelled. Something else exploded, making them dive to the ground. It looked like everything was on fire now, people were screaming. A helicopter opened its door and WICKED soldiers started dropping in, guns blazing.

"SHUCK! WE GOTTA GO!" Alex screamed.

She grabbed Thomas's hand and they ran, weaving around fires. They rounded the end of a row of blazing tents and a soldier stepped in front. Alex didn't stop running, adrenaline surging, she screamed at him, jumping up and slamming her knees into his chest. He was knocked to the ground.

Thanks Minho for the awesome ninja move! More effective with a solid wall behind us.

She fell on top of the soldier, his helmet had come loose with the impact. She scrambled to grab it, as the soldier scrambled after her, forgetting his gun that fell to the ground. Her fingers reached the strap, just as he grabbed her jacket and pulled her. Alex fell backwards. She twisted, swinging the helmet at the same time, smashing it into his face. He let go of her, with a screech, reaching for his face. Alex swung it again, a better grip on it. She smashed his face again, he fell and didn't get back up.

"DON'T JUST STAND THERE THOMAS! HELP!" Alex screamed.

Thomas blinked at her, shook himself and grabbed the gun.

"Give it here." Alex held her hand out. He obeyed and they kept running.

"I think we're even now. And I saved your shuck butt without gettin' shot!"

She flicked the safety off, and cocked it, ready to shoot. Thomas followed behind. Alex didn't see anyone but Right Arm members. Alex kept her head on a swivel. Another set of soldiers appeared. Alex shoved Thomas behind a box. She ducked behind it too, peeking around it. A shot rang out, missing her by inches. Alex raised the gun, took a deep breath and flung her body around the box pulling the trigger. One soldier dropped a bullet in his chest. Alex had to roll, as the other soldier was shooting at her. Alex rolled again, came up on her knee, pulled the trigger. He dropped, with a bullet in his chest.

"Thomas! Let's move!"

Thomas sprung from the box. They sprinted past another burning tent.

Alex scrambled to a stop.

"Shuck shuck shuck!" Alex almost broke down in tears.

She saw her family, in the middle of the camp, surrounded by fires. Vince was in the back of a truck, using a huge gun, surrounding the truck was Sonya, Harriet, Aris, Fry, Newt, and Minho. Each firing a gun of some kind, covering Vince.

"Thomas!" Alex choked. He had to grab her, before her knees buckled.

"Shuck. Where's Jorge and Brenda? And Chloe?" He asked, eyes wide.

Alex didn't care at the moment, she just wanted to get to her family. She started forwards, but a bomb went off, exploding whatever was in front of her, throwing her back. She scrambled to her feet, trying to go forwards, Thomas right beside her.

"HEY! DUMBASS!"

Brenda came running, a rifle strap over her shoulder, she grabbed both of them, pulling.

"Come on! This way! COME ON! Are you trying to get yourself killed?'

Alex couldn't move. She watched helplessly as something blue exploded inside the truck, shooting bright blue electricity over everyone surrounding the truck. She watched in horror as they dropped to the ground convulsing.

"We gotta take cover!"

Brenda hulled her away, behind a bunch of boxes where Jorge was crouched, watching. Brenda let go of Thomas and Alex.

Alex was breathing heavily. Anger and despaired were flowing through her like liquid fire, she could feel the adrenaline...the super human strength Dr. Prior had told her, it came with the adrenaline.

"We have to go. Now. While we still have the chance." Jorge yelled over the noise of explosions.

"I gotta go get the others!" Thomas yelled desperately.

"No! Look! Look. You can't help them." Jorge insisted, pointing.

WICKED was pulling everyone they electrocuted in front of the helicopters, dropping them into lines.

"You guys need to go. They aren't looking for you." Thomas said, trying to push Brenda and Jorge away.

"He's right. They want immunes. Especially Thomas and I." Alex agreed, not taking her eyes off what was happening.

"Thomas...Alex..." Brenda started, trying to plead with them.

"I'm not leaving them!" Alex yelled.

"No. I can't go either. " Thomas said at the same time.

Brenda's eyes watered. Alex glanced at Jorge.

"I'm not leaving them. I'm not leaving him."

Jorge nodded. "Ok Hermana. Here. Take this." He handed Thomas the explosive and detonator.

"Good luck kids."

He grabbed Brenda's arm and pulled her away. Leaving Thomas and Alex crouched behind the boxes.

"Here's the plan. Wait until Rat Man is in sight. I'll cause a distraction. You blow klunk up." Alex explained.

"Sounds about right. But why are you the distraction?"

"Cuz I know exactly how to piss Rat Man off!" She smiled deviously
