The head elf blew his whistle, causing all elves to look at him.
"Now, as always, we will conduct a health and safety procedure before we get all this food out. Have you all been wearing gloves?"
The elves all nodded with an echoing yes and they held up their gloves.
"And are you all aware of students with allergies and dietary requirements?"
"Er..."
The head elf pointed to the list of students on the kitchen noticeboard, all sorted by house.
"Please take note of the children who cannot eat certain foods. Nuts, dairy, eggs, meat, spicy food, shellfish, and whatnot. And ensure those foods are as far away from those students as possible."
He pointed at a moving painting showing the students sitting in the great hall, with indicators identifying specific students with specific needs.
"If you don't know where they are, study this painting until you can locate them blindfolded."
He clapped his hands. "Off you go.
The kitchen erupted into a flurry of elves rushing over to check the noticeboard and painting. Once all elves had finished perusing, the head elf clapped his hands again.
"Right! Let's get this food out!"
The elves summoned their wands and pointed them at the food, watching it disappear from the kitchen.
