Gabriel Agrestes Wish
Gabriel stood before the glass coffin of his beloved Emily, tears streaming down his face. "I failed again, Emily," he whispered, his voice breaking. "Even after all this time, I couldn't make my wish come true. I don't deserve you."
He sank to his knees, overcome with grief and despair. For years, Gabriel had been obsessed with obtaining the Miraculous, powerful magical jewels that granted their wielder immense power. He believed that with their power, he could bring Emily back to life.
But no matter how hard he tried, Gabriel had always failed in his quest. He had lost countless battles against Ladybug and Cat Noir, the protectors of Paris who had sworn to keep the Miraculous out of the wrong hands.
Now, as he knelt before Emily's coffin, Gabriel felt defeated. He believed that his dreams were impossible and that he would never be able to see Emily again.
"I think the best I can do is to give up," Gabriel said, his voice hollow. "Adrien and I will join you, my dear Emily, one way or another."
The next morning
Adrien walked into the kitchen to find his father, Gabriel, preparing breakfast. "I made some French Toast," Gabriel said with a smile. Adrien thanked him and took a bite of the toast. But as Gabriel took a bite of his own, Adrien's kwami, Plagg, suddenly smelled something strange in the toast.
"I won't let you kill Adrien," Plagg shouted, breaking the kwamis' rules. Gabriel feigned surprise, but he knew that Plagg was Cat Noir's kwami. "I have something to tell you father,I'm Cat Noir"Adrien revealed .Gabriel remained silent for a few moments before telling Adrien how proud he was of him for protecting their city with Ladybug.
Plagg continued to insist that Gabriel had put poison in the toast, but Gabriel claimed that it was a mistake and that he had accidentally mixed up the jars. Adrien reassured his father and quickly headed off to school,"Father, please don't tell anyone that I am Cat Noir"he reminded him
As Adrien left, Gabriel's smile twisted into a sinister grin. Gabriel's stomach churned with pain as he sat alone in his office. The poison he had ingested earlier was taking its toll on his body, but he barely noticed. His mind was consumed with thoughts of his latest discovery: his son was Cat Noir.
