Chapter 4
Ladybug cautiously entered Gabriel's grand mansion, calling out for Adrien. Her heart was beating fast, anticipating the worst. As she searched through the dimly lit hallways, a sudden movement caught her attention. She turned around just in time to see Monarch.
Monarch wasted no time in attacking Ladybug with the bee miraculous, but she managed to dodge the venomous attack with impressive agility. However, Monarch was prepared with the snake miraculous and used it to rewind time and try tried a lot of times but finally Ladybug was caught off guard and the bee miraculous hit her, rendering her immobile,then he took her miraculous and put her on top of Adrien,."Dad,please wake her up"Adried pleaded,as Marinette was frozen,"of course"he said.
as she struggled, Monarch revealed himself to be Gabriel, Adrien's father.
"I'm sorry,I don't have another stretcher"he apologized.
Marinette was stunned. She couldn't believe that the man she had trusted all this time was actually their greatest enemy. Gabriel explained his motives, driven by grief and the desire to bring back his beloved wife. But Marinette knew that his actions were misguided and had to be stopped.
Adrien and Marinette were stunned. They had never seen Gabriel like this before. "Dad, what's going on?" Adrien asked, still trying to process everything that had happened.
"You say you do this for your son,but that's a lie, you are doing it for yourself,think of the consequences"Marinette said.
Gabriel, as Monarch, was agitated by Marinette's words. "You don't understand," he snapped at her. "You don't know the pain of losing someone you love. I can't let Emily stay dead forever!"
"But this isn't the way, Gabriel," Marinette replied, trying to reason with him. "You can't bring her back by hurting others. You're only making things worse."
Gabriel paused, his expression softening slightly. "I know that now," he said quietly. "But it's too late to turn back. I've gone too far, and I can't stop now."
Marinette couldn't ignore the sensation of Adrien's growing hardness against her backside, but the urgency of the situation pushed the thought aside. "Adrien, please focus," she pleaded, hoping to bring him back to reality. "We need to find a way out of here."
But Monarch was resolute in his plan. "Enough talking," he declared, putting on the Ladybug earrings and summoning Tikki. The kwami appeared, but before Monarch could absorb her, Tikki broke the rules and screamed out "Lucky Charm!" in a burst of defiance.
