Chapter 5

To everyone's surprise, a small robot, similar to Marcus, emerged from the chaos. It glimmered with a brilliant golden light, illuminating the room. Meanwhile, Nadia Chamak reported on the news that a giant croissant was hurtling towards Paris at an alarming speed, an unforeseen consequence of the kwamis' use of their powers.

Marinette's mind raced as she tried to come up with a plan. With Ladybug out of commission, she needed to act fast to prevent any further damage. But as she looked at Adrien, and Monarch, now holding both the Ladybug and Cat Noir miraculous, she knew the situation was dire.

"Adrien, we need to focus on finding a way out of here," she repeated, but Adrien's attention was elsewhere. Marinette couldn't help but feel a twinge of pleasure as Adrien's arousal pressed against her, but she pushed the feeling aside, knowing that their safety was at stake.

As the robot continued to glow, Marinette felt a glimmer of hope. Perhaps there was still a way to turn this around and save Paris from destruction. But first, they needed to escape Monarch's grasp and regain control of the miraculous.

The tension was palpable as Monarch prepared to make his wish. Adrien and Marinette were both on edge, unsure of what would happen next. Monarch hesitated for a moment, but then began to speak. "I wish that..." he started, but was interrupted by Marcus, who attacked him. Marcus was red with black spots and seemed to be made entirely of energy,he put tape on Monarch mouth and then approached Marinette. The robot spoke in a calm, monotone voice. "I am MarcusBug. I am at your service," it said, she asked it to free them, and it did so immediately. But Monarch was undeterred,he removed the tape from his mouth, turned back to Marinette and Adrien, and continued with his and Marinette leapt towards Monarch with the intention of stopping him from making his wish, but Monarch's powers proved to be too much for them. He dodged their attacks with their best efforts, Monarch managed to escape their grasp.

Adrien and Marinette lunged forward, hoping to stop Monarch before he could make his wish. However, they both knew they were powerless against his abilities. "We have to stop him," said Adrien determinedly. Marinette shook her head, "But how? We don't have any power." Monarch, meanwhile, stood confidently, knowing that he had the upper hand. The robot, MarcusBug, analyzed the situation while Monarch continued to taunt them. "Adrien, I'm doing this for your mother," Monarch said, trying to appeal to his son's emotions. Adrien was unimpressed. "My mom wouldn't like this," he replied sternly.

All the while, they were trying to avoid Monarch asking for his wish. But it seemed that their efforts were in used his cataclysm and destroyed Marcus Bug,then he finally spoke up, "I wish that Emily went back to life together with us," he declared confidently. Adrien and Marinette were both shocked and appalled. Despite their best efforts as Ladybug and Cat Noir, Monarch had succeeded in asking for his wish

"Finally, we will be back together Adrien, we will be happy again!" Monarch shouted as a bright light enveloped them all. Adrien couldn't believe what was happening. He knew that this wasn't the right thing to do. "No, father, you ruined everything!" he shouted in protest,"You don't know what you say, that baker girl is putting ideas in your head","I love her"said Adrien,"No,you're just horny",he said and approaching Marinette punched her ,she felt to the ground."Don't dare to hurt her!"Adrien yelled,Marinette, meanwhile, had slowly stood up, her head bleeding. Tears streamed down her face. "We are the worst Ladybug and Cat Noir ever," she said, covering her eyes.A blinding light emerged from the Miraculouses.

Adrien and Marinette began to walk, trying to find an exit from the blinding light. Suddenly, there was a loud thump and the ground began to shake. It was the impact of the giant croissant, sent hurtling towards Paris by the reality-altering powers of the kwamis. "What's happening?" Marinette asked in confusion. "I don't know, but we need to get out of here soon," Adrien answered as they stumbled in the darkness.

Monarch's voice could be heard calling out to them, "Come back here!" Marinette gritted her teeth. "Why is it taking so long?" Monarch demanded impatiently. "You are trying to rewrite the universe, it will take some time," she answered angrily.

"We need a doctor," Adrien said, his eyes scanning their surroundings for any signs of help. He spotted an elevator and quickly ushered Marinette inside, hitting the button to return to the part of the mansion they knew.

To their relief, Monarch did not follow them. Adrien knew his father wanted to be close to Emily when she woke up, and that gave them some time to regroup.

"I still can't believe your father is Monarch, and that he was Shadow Moth before that, and Hawk Moth before that," Marinette said, disbelief etched on her face.

Adrien sighed. "Me neither," he admitted. "But we can worry about that later. Right now, we need to focus on finding a doctor."

As they stepped out of the mansion, they saw Nataly standing nearby, watching them with a mixture of confusion and concern. Adrien couldn't bear to look at her for too long, knowing that his secret was now out in the open.

The scene outside was chaos. The city was in ruins, people were running and screaming, and a giant croissant loomed in the distance.

Their thoughts were interrupted by the sight of her father running towards her. He was crying, and she could tell he had been through a lot. She struggled to stand up, but her legs gave out beneath her and she fell to the ground.

"Marinette, my daughter," Tom said, his voice shaking with emotion. "Your mother had died."
