Over on Meirdian, Elyon was at a private cemetery near the castle standing before two headstones that rested in the middle of a small garden.
"I wish you two were here," said Elyon.
"You would love Caleb and I'm sure you could help me with all of the party stuff too, Alborn and Miriadel are doing a great job at it but it would have been even better with you two around," she said.
"They sure would have loved to meet him," said Alborn as he and Captain Miriadel approached.
"And I'm sure that they are watching over you now and can't be any happier for you, Elyon," said Captain Miriadel at the same time she placed a hand on the princess's shoulder and while giving her a kind smile.
"Thank you," said Elyon before hugging the two.
"And I don't mean just for what you said, thank you for everything you have done for me in place of my birth parents," she said.
"It was our honor to raise you," said Captain Miriadel.
"And we're proud of the kind of woman you have grown up to be," said Alborn.
"In fact, not a day has gone by that we haven't been proud of you," said Captain Miriadel.
"I feel the same way about you two," said Elyon. The three then hugged each other again while a few tears rolled down their cheeks.
"Alright, we should get back to the party planning," said Alborn.
"I thought we had everything figured out," said Elyon, who looked a little defeated after hearing that.
"You still have not chosen a gift to give Caleb for the exchange which is the biggest part of the party," said Captain Miriadel.
"Right, it's just proving to be difficult to find something for him," said Elyon.
"Then I suggest we check the Royal Vault, something there should be a good gift," said Alborn.
"Sounds like a good idea," said Elyon as they left.
