At 16:46 pm

Jamey, Sid, Goddard, and the General flew into Retroville ready to meet Susan and the Neutron-Wheezers. They saw the town was mostly repaired. Jamey looked around relieved that things seemed to be faring well and almost lookat as though things were getting back to normal. Almost. "Wow! Looks like the town is getting back on its feet." Then the general looked at Sid and said. "Sid, better not tell your mom about what happened with Saunders." Sid turned to his father, ignoring the aprehensive look on Jamey's face. "Why not?" He asked. "It would just worry her." He replied. "Fine, what's another lie between the family?" Sid agreed sarcastically. The General gave him a worried look, he wwas about to open his mouth to say something, but was cut off when Jamey gestured that they were close. They flew into the neighborhood and landed in front of Sid's house, they opened the door to find Susan and the Neutrons had set up a little welcome home party for them. The general was the first to leave the vehicle and started to walk towards the party. Jamey noticed Sid moving at a much slower pace trying to put as much distance between him and his father. She went up to him and gave him a gentle smile which he returned to Jamey then whispered to Sid as they walked into the house. "Guess everyone's excited, you're okay." Deciding to not let his mood sour they evening Sid chose to try and talk with Jamey. "Well, what did you expect? It's me." He replied smuggly in which Jamey just rolled her eyes and shook her head in amusement with her smile still intact.

"Welcome home sweetie!" Screamed Susan as she went in to give her son a hug. "Mom what's this all about?" Sid asked. "We're all just happy to see you okay." She replied. Susan then gave Jamey an angry look which she noticed. "Well I need to check on your father in the living room." Susan went to leave, walking past jamey forcibly shoving past her, nearly knocking her off her feet if Sid wasn't there to catch her. Sid looked back at his mother, going to say something before Jamey stopped him. "Don't. She has every right to be upset about what happened and she needs someone to blame and I am just that person. Life of a scientist. I'm fine." Jamey said quickly, not making eye contact with Sid, but he could tell that there was more to her response than she let on. Then he remembered what Saunders had said. About her losing more than he knew. Sid wanted to ask Jamey about that but felt as though now was not the right time. Sid had noticed that his hearing was a little sensitive or maybe Jamey was just hungry, but he could hear her stomach growl clear as day even through all the noise of the party. "Hey let's get some food." Sid said gently, taking her arm; she returned a faint smile and followed him into the kitchen.

While Jamey and Sid went to go eat some of the food, the general took Susan and the Neutron-Wheezers aside and asked. "Tell me how bad it is?" With worry clear on his face. "A lot of people were hurt Sam, people are still asking questions and after your press release two weeks ago, they want a name." Susan answered. "And that name is Jamey's" He pointed out. "So General what are you going to do? Tell everyone that it was Jamey?" Asked Judy. "No. At least not now." Answered the General. "Well that's all sorted out. Let's go and party!" Screamed Martha delightfully. Jamey had walked around for a bit and she couldn't find her brother anywhere. She figured he'd be here; she hadden seen him in years or spoken to him face to face in a while. Jamey was looking forward to seeing him, but guessed she may have to wait a little bit longer.

Jamey walked up to her mothers. "Hey where's Carl?" Jamey asked. Judy just looked at her daughter with the best poker face she could manage without worrying her daughter any further. Truth is Judy and Martha had suspected Carl was having trouble at school and when they tried to confront him about it all he did say was not to involve Jamey with it. They all knew how protective she could be of him and would do anything for him. She had tanked her first collage interview because she didn't want to leave her brother and Carl had been the one to get her a second make up interview just so she wouldn't give up her dream. They looked out for the other and it broke her heart that whatever Carl was going through he did not was Jamey involved. Though after what had happened with the chamber maybe for now that was for the best Jamey was not in the best situation to help at the moment. Judy took a deep breath and answered her daughter. "He's been a little off since the accident like everyone else. We figured we would let him stay home if he didn't want to come. He also doesn't know the full extent of what happened and we figure that was for the best for now." Jamey looked down with a frown and nodded. She had really wanted to talk to her brother about this. About AJ. Nobody but the general knew about the great loss she had been through. About the nightmares she had been having about the accident. Since she had been the closest to the explosion the mental and physical was beyond what a person should have to go through. She was forced through a bomb proof glass, but luckly for her the new color of her skin hid any markings that had accrued on her body. But her moms wanted to keep Carl out of all of this and when Jamey thought about it they were right. She could not be selfish and drag him into all of this. He had a normal life, she couldn't take that away from him. Guess she'd just have to wait for now. The party continued, the group shared some laughs, played some games, Sid showed off his powers to his mother and the Neutron-Wheezers. It was a fun party that lasted the rest of the afternoon and some of the night.

The next day, at 08:15 am

Sid woke up tired from the party. He went downstairs into the kitchen where his mother was making breakfast. "Hey sweety, want some breakfast?" Asked Susan. "No." Answered Sid in a rush. "I'll be late for school." Susan was laughing at her son's franticness. Even after the event he went through he was still going to be a good student; even though he had the perfect excuse not to go today. "There's no need for that sweety, the school is still undergoing repairs." Replied Susan. "They said it will be open next week." Excited about this news Sid sat down to eat, but looked around. "Cool. Where's dad?" She sighed at hearing this question and hated to disappoint Sid this early in the morning. "He left early this morning. He said something about important business." Susan answered. "And it begins again." Sid said to himself before getting up and walking out the door. When Sid walked outside his house he heard "Kookoo." He looked around, then heard it again. "Kookoo." He then saw an orange teenage girl wearing a hoodie and sunglasses. "Nerdtron!? What are you doing?" Sid asked, slightly annoyed. "We've got business." Answered Jamey walking Sid to the club house that was behind her house. "What are we doing here?" He asked. "You'll see." She answered. They entered the club house. Sid found it was a little cramped. "I swear Nerdtron if this is your idea of making a move!" Sid yelled. "Get over yourself, Vortex!" Jamey responded harshly. She felt a little bad about the force of her response but could you blame her in less than two weeks her boyfriend had died in the most horrific way possible.

She pulled out a string of her hair, put it in front of a scanner and opened a trap door, sending them into a slide. "Ahhh!" Sid screamed while Jamey remained relatively calm. They entered a room that looked exactly like the secret lab Jamey had at the base except there was a small room off to the side that had the door slightly opened and from what he could make out it looked like a bed room. He thought for a second to ask if she sleeps down here but chose against that instead asking a different question. "You have another one!?" Commented Sid. "Yup." Jamey answered emotionlessly. Sid shrugged it off and asked."So why did you call me here Nerdtron?" She went to her computer. "Your dad left you and me a message." Jamey proceeds to play the message. The general's video message played. "Sid, because of recent events I'm putting you and Jamey on a special task force to capture these mutations. The reason why I chose you two specifically is Jamey needs to lay low after what happened at the base and you need a big brain to help you find and capture these mutants. Good luck to you both, Vortex out." Sid thought for a moment. So that explains why she's sleeping here. I guess.

"So how are we supposed to find these mutants?" Asked Sid. "Right now that's for me to worry about. You go off and have fun with your friends. I'll call you if something comes up." Jamey answered going back to her work on the computer ignoring Sid. "Okay." Sid replied half heartly. "I almost forgot, take this." Jamey said as she jumped from her chair to grab something off her workbench. She walked back to Sid and handed him a box. "What's this?" He asked. With a small smug smile Jamey answered. "If you're going to be a superhero you're going to need a suit." Sid looked at the box before putting it in his bag leaving the lab. He then called his friend Brent about meeting up and they both made their way to The Candy Bar. After getting a table and they sat down, Brent then had to ask. "So are you okay after what happened dude?"

"What do you mean?" Sid was a little worried. Did he know something? "I came over to your house to see if you were okay after that weird thing hit town, your mom said you had gone to get special treatment." Replied Brent. Sid let out a breath he did not realize he had been holding. "Oh ya that, I'm okay, in fact I feel better than ever." Sid said with a smile. Before Brent could voice any more concerns toward his friend the two turned their heads towards the front doors when they heard the entrance bell go off and chatter pick up. The two noticed five girls walked in and Libby was a part of them so they called for a waiter. The waiter gave them menus and went off. After a little while the waiter came back and asked. "Have you ladies decided on anything?" Libby gave him the order. "Please can we have five smoothies, hold the milk stickley fruit." The waiter gave her an annoyed look. "I'm serious, and five crab salads hold the crab." The waiter wrote down their order and gave them an annoyed look. Libby gave him a proud look. "Are we supposed to ring a bell for you? Chop chop move along!" The other girls laughed. The waiter left with an angry expression on his face. Sid looked at what just happened in disgust and said. "Those girls seriously need an attitude adjustment!"

"Those are the plastics, what are you going to do?" Commented Brent not thinking much of it. When the waiter came back with all the food and drinks, one of the girls stuck her leg out and tripped him, sending everything on top of him. She started to clap her hands and said. "Well done, stud!" The table was about to start laughing if it was not for Sid abruptly standing up so fast that he tipped over his chair which made a giant thund grabbing the attention of the entire establishment. Sid started walking to the waiter to help him and ripping the girls a new one. "Hey plastic! you can't do that to him" Screamed Sid before throwing his burger at the girl. The girl wiped off a piece of tomato from her hair and said. "What's your problem, Vortex!? What do you have a thing for the waiter or something!? Didn't know he was your type." Sid walked up to the girl and argued. "No! I just can't stand stuck up girls like you!" The girl feeling intimidated started to back down seeing that Libby got up from her chair and asked. "Do we have a problem blondey!?" Sid then turned to her and answered. "Ya! we do!" The teens walked up to each, looked straight at one another before Sid gestered to the waiter and demanded. "I think you owe my friend an apology!"

"I'll apologize as soon as you do." Replied Libby. Both girls began to have a stare looked down on him and threatened. "You don't know who you're messing with blondey!" Sid looked up on her and replied. "No. I don't think you know who you're messing with!" Clenching his fist. Suddenly a man wearing a dark cloak entered the building and shouted. "Everyone get on the ground!" Before pulling out a small handgun. Everyone got on the floor including Sid who was playing along. The man went straight for Sam who was at the counter and demanded. "Put the money in the bag old man!" Throwing a bag at Sam who seemed to comply but got a shotgun and pointed it at the thief and screamed. "How about you put your hands behind your head!" Everyone seemed to calm down a bit then suddenly the thief said. "Old man you don't know what you've done!" Then out of nowhere Sam levitated off the ground and slammed against the wall. Everyone looked in shock at what they were seeing, while this was happening Sid used this as an opportunity to speed out of the building and into an alleyway. Sid took out the box that was in his bag and saw the suit Jamey had made for him, he developed a smile and said. "Cool." He supersped back into the building wearing it and walked up to him and screamed. "Hey bub!" The crowd looked at Sid in his costume. The man looked back and said. "Move along kid, before you get hurt!"

"You're the only one who's going to get hurt!" He replied, he rushed at him and pushed him to a wall releasing Sam, dropping him. He got back up with a smile and said. "Your strong." He got up and whispered to himself in disbelief. "I thought I was the only one." Before telekinetically blasting him through the wall, he immediately rebounded and supersped back into the room. The thief looked with a shocked face and said. "Who are you anyway sweetheart?" The thief was still trying to sound intimidating but was failing. "Special Guy!" Answered Special Guy. The thief looked at him with a smug look gaining his second wind and said. "Special Guy. I like it, I'll give myself a name too. You can just call me Force!" Sid for a moment was regretting the name he chose after hearing the other guy's alter ego name. "Force. Admittedly that's a cool name, but your still going down." He commented as he supersped at him. He was immediately stopped, frozen in the running position. "I don't think so 'Special Guy'." He mocked, before sending him flying through the roof of the building, sending him miles away. He eventually landed on the roof of a building. "Dammit!" He screamed to himself. Sid raced into Jamey's lab. "I think I found a mutant."

Unfortunately for Jamey Sid had raced in her lab so fast it caused her to spin as she was whipped around forcing her legs to become tangled making her fall flat on the floor. She was now slightly annoyed at this but as she picked herself back up she told Sid what she knew about the situation. "Ya I know. I managed to pull some security footage, and saw the whole thing." Jamey responded dusting herself off seeing Sid give her a small apology look which she just ignored as she walked to her computer and said. "I'll use facial recognition to find out who our mutant is. Also saw that fight before the mutant came. You need to control your temper better can't have you revealing you have powers now can you" She said in a monotone voice. Sid wanted to argue but knew she was right so he just stayed silent while she worked on finding out who Force is. After a few minutes the face of the man popped out. Jamey looked at it and said. "Looks like our mutant's name is Eric Fines. A criminal with a record for armed robbery and grand theft auto." Jamey turned her chair around and said. "I do like his name though 'Force' has a pretty good ring to it." A little put out Sid looked at her and asked. "So how do I stop him?" But all Jamey could say was. "From what I saw I don't think you can."

"Why not?" Asked Sid, getting more upset. "Temper. Because you moved at him with your super speed. Not only did he stop you but it seemed you couldn't break free." Answered Jamey. "If I can't, who can?" Asked Sid, taking a deep breath, calming down a bit, but still a bit frustrated at the situation. "I think I know." Jamey said as she turned back to her computer she brought back the security footage on the screen this time focusing on Libby. "Look at that girl there." Jamey went on. Sid looked and observed it was Libby and said snarkily. "Oh, what about her." Jamey replied ignoring his tone she did not have time for petty teenage angst or drama or whatever. "Just focus on her and see what happens." They both looked at the screen as Jamey turned her chair back forward, suddenly becoming hyper aware that Sid was very close as he put his arm on her seat and leaned up behind her to get a better look at the screen. Shaking off the discomfort she turned her focus back to the situation at hand. They looked at the moment everyone went down to the ground. They looked right at Libby and saw her disappear for a brief moment. Sid looked in shock. "Did I just see what I think..." Jamey nodded to herself. "Yes, for a moment Libby turned invisible." Jamey interrupted with a faint smile. "So how is she supposed to stop our 'Force' problem?" Asked Sid. Jamey looked at him. "This is just a theory but I think for Force to telekinetically move objects he has to see or perceive them to focus. If we get that girl to fight him he won't be able to affect her, giving her the best chance to fight him."

"So how do we convince her to help us?" Asked Sid not feeling hopeful after having the fight with her earlier. "That's something you have to worry about. I have other things to do." Answered Jamey as she got back to what she was doing before Sid came barging in.. "You can't just leave all of this on me!" Commented Sid chasing after the female scientist. "For now I have to. I need to figure out how we're going to contain him once we've caught him." Replied Jamey, she then handed Sid another box and said. "Give this to her if she agrees." Sid looked at the box then back at Jamey who had gone back to work and realized he had lost that argument.

Later that afternoon, at 15:24pm

Sid made his way to Libby's house trying to hype himself up when he finally just decided to go and knock on the front door, he was then met with Libby's mother Francine. The older black woman looked at Sid and greeted him with a wide polite smile. "Hello young man." Sid tried to be as charming as he could while taking a deep breath. "Hello ma'am, I'm a friend of your daughter Libby. I was with her when that robbery happened at The Candy Bar, I just wanted to see if she was okay." Francine gave him a more senser smile. "She's fine. She's just a bit shaken, let's just give her some time to rest, I'll let her know you came by." That was not the answer he was looking for and now he needed to quickly come u pwith a plan B that did not make him seem creepy in any way. "Okay." Sid replied before the door closed. Sid said to himself. "Think Vortex. If the polite way didn't work, I'll just have to try the direct." He immediately went around the house and jumped over the fence and straight to Libby's window. Libby was in her room shifting in and out of visibility and invisibility trying to get some form of control she said to herself. "Calm down Libby, calm down." She regained control then heard a knock on her window. She opened her curtain and saw it was Sid and opened it. "What do you want!?" She asked not wanting to deal with this goody goody boy. "I know about you." Answered Sid quickly, not leaving any time for her to reject him. "What do you mean?" Libby asked nervously, praying that he did not mean what she thought he meant. .

"I know about your invisible problem." Answered Sid in a more calm voice than before. By the expression on Libby's face it looked as though he just gave her the news that she was pregnant. He was almost afraid that she might have stopped breathing, she was so still. Then before Sid could walk over to check if she was ok Libby became a whirlwind of verbal worry and anxiety quickly fading in and out. "You can't tell anyone, I'll do anything!" Begged Libby. Sid looked at her and said. "Don't worry. I'm like you too." Not taking Sid's words with a grain of salt Libby calmed down now distracted and fully solid again asked. "How so?" Sid slowly walked up to Libby's bed and lifted it with one arm. "Wow! You're that Special Guy." Commented Libby. "Yes and I need your help." Replied Sid. Libby was now back to being cautious because what could he need her for? "Doing what exactly?" Asked Libby. "Remember that guy Force. Someone I work with believes you're capable of beating him." Answered Sid. "Look I don't want to be some freak girl, I just want this curse to go away. And who is his dude anyway to even know if I can help or not?" Libby yelled at Sid as she lost control again and went invisible for a brief moment. "She's just someone who knows a lot about this kind of thing." Libby was still defensive and used one of coping meconisimse and began to tease Sid. "Oh she. So is she like your girlfriend or something?" She gave a giggle at seeing the frustrated blush creep on Sid's face who chose to not answer that and chose to redirect the conversation back to the original topic.

Sid gave Libby a serious look and said. "Look Libby I don't know if your powers will ever go away. All I know is nothing has ever gotten better from trying to ignore or bury your problems. You've been given a gift not a curse Libby and it's your choice on how to use it." Libby looked back at him and said. "Look I just don't know if I can do what either of you want me to do." Sid grabbed her shoulder and said "Libby when you confronted me at The Candy Bar, you were helping your friend because you knew she wasn't going to win. As arrogant and selfish as you are, you do have an honor code and I know deep down you do what's right." Libby looked down and kept quiet. A few seconds later Sid's phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Jamey. "I have to take this." Sid told Libby. "Right the not-girl-friend." Sid ignored that last comment and put the phone to his ear and the conversation began.

Sid: Hey Jamey.

Jamey: Sid! You've got to get downtown, Force is back and he's calling you out.

Sid: Alright I'll be there.

The phone conversation ended and Sid looked at Libby. "I've got to go Force is downtown. But if you change your mind my partner said you can have this." Sid handed Libby a box before he left. Libby looked inside the box and then at herself in the mirror and started to fade again. What was she gonna do?

Downtown Retroville

Several police officers surrounded Force. "Put your hands up!" Screamed one of the cops. "I don't think so coppers." Said Force jokingly. The police continued to hold their firearms with one of them screaming. "Don't take a step!" Force cockily walked forward, the police immediately fired but the bullets were stopped mid air. "What the hell!" Yelled one of the cops. He confidently looked at them and taunted. "Sorry gentlemen, I'm waiting for a man." Before sending the bullets back Sid as Special Guy rushed in immediately and shielded the officers from the bullets. "Looks like my leading man is finally here!" Force screamed jokingly. Sid looked at him in anger. "What are you doing anyway! I thought you were just a petty crook!"

"Oh I was! But meeting you taught me something. I was thinking too small. Why just rob Retroville, when I could be its King." He screamed maniacally. "You're insane!" Sid screamed. "Maybe." He replied before levitating three cars and launching them at him. Special Guy wanted to protect the officers, so he leaped into the air and caught the leading car and threw it into the other one, and kicked the last one directly into the ground. Sid rushed at him but with a simple wave of his hand, he changed his direction and sent him running through a fire hydrant and wall. All was quiet when he walked to see her body under the rubble Sid appeared unconscious he said. "Come on, you can still play." There was still no reaction so he decided to leave and in a split second Sid rushed up and went in for a punch. Somehow Force noticed this in time and used his telekinesis to cushion the blow. He was sent flying through the street and into a car. He got up, spat out blood and laughed. "You are good. If I hadn't caught on to your little act you would've killed me." He then became a little angry and screamed. "I'm done playing with you!" He levitated him above the ground and started to telekinetically choke him. Special Guy desperately tried to move and breathe as the crowd of people around them watched in horror.

The cops that were there were far too frightened to do anything. All seemed lost for Special Guy until Force seemed to have been struck in the stomach and hit in the head releasing Special Guy from his hold. "What was that!?" Screamed Force. "It was me." Libby said as she revealed herself wearing her suit. "And who are you!?" Asked Force angrily. "You can call me Invisister." Announced Libby. "Well hello and goodbye." Said Force levitated her off the ground. The Invisister immediately vanished and Force's powers stopped affecting her. She went straight for Special Guy, made him vanish as well and took Sid straight to an alley. "Where did you ladies go!" Screamed Force. The Invisister put Special Guy down and he recovered shortly. Special Guy opened his eyes. "You came..."

"Don't get the wrong idea. I did this because you were right. These mutant freaks could hurt my friends and family and pretending they're not my problem won't keep them safe. I'm doing this for them." She said interrupting Special Guy. "I guess it's too soon for trust to fall." Special Guy said jokingly. "It's good you have jokes, because I have a plan." She said smugly. Force looked at the cops and proclaimed. "If they aren't coming back I guess you guys will do." Before he could do anything he was dealt more invisible strikes from Invisister. "Ahhh!" He looked at her when she reappeared. "You've got to stop doing that!" Force huffed like he still had any control over the situation. "As soon as you turn yourself in." She replied. He tried to levitate her again but she vanished and his powers were useless against her, she dealt him more invisible strikes. He screamed from the pain. He decided to change his strategy, he pulled apart the bricks from various buildings and created a tornado of bricks and sent each of the bricks in a different direction. The crowd of people and the cops tried to find cover, some were hit by the bricks. Invisister tried to dodge the bricks but was hit by a few of them and crashed to the ground in pain. Force walked towards her and said. "I can't believe you thought you could beat me." Invisister looked at him with a smug smile and said. "I wasn't trying to beat you, I was distracting you."

"What!" Force shouted looking around everywhere. He levitated Invisister off the ground and asked. "Where's the blonde boy!" All Invisister did was smile. He looked left, right, above, and behind and saw out where he came bursting through the ground, and punched him in the face which knocked him out. "He's all yours." He said to the cops as he went to Invisister. "Did you get him?" She asked while groaning. "Ya I got him." Replied Special Guy with a smile. Special Guy immediately picked her up and ran back to Jamey's lab and was met with the female scientist. She lead them to a new place in the lab Sid did not recgonize that had a few pod things. "Put her in here. It should help." Sid did as he was told and after a bit Libby had gotten out of the Neutron Regeneration Pod feeling good as new.

"You're lucky. That was a prototype. There was a thirty eight percent chance it wouldn't have worked" Jamey commented. Libby looked at Sid and said "Is she always like this?" Sid nodded at his head to indicate yes. Libby then looked over at Jamey finally getting a good look at the woman. So this was Sid's not-girl-friend Libby thought to herself. She is pretty and clearly very smart, but noticed that not once during the time Libby had briefly seen her had she even smiled once. One would think that after a victory like the one they had today that would require at least a small smile. Libby with a smile on her face was very curious about the sour demeanor of the other girl. "You don't smile much do you?" Libby not taking a second thought to the question. This stopped Jamey in her tracks and Sid noticed some color drain from her orange face. He never really thought much about it. She did have the brief weak smile every now and then, but now that he thought about it maybe there was more to this than he originally presumed. Jamey was doing her best to breathe and not cry. Ever since the accident Jamey has had to deal with a lot, not unlike everyone else, but there was no one there trying to help her, no one she could talk to about what happened. Everyone around her has been making lighthearted comments and everytime they did this it made her want to scream with an overwhelming amount of grief.

Jamey turned to look at Libby and Sid replying. "You know the accident that gave you, Sid, and Force your special powers." This caused both Libby and Sid to nod. Jamey took a deep breath before continuing. "Well it also killed my boyfriend so the way I act kind of feels like the appropriate response." Libby immediately removed her smile, feeling her heart drop to the bottom of her feet. Libby felt sick. "I am so sorry I didn't know or mean that." Jamey waved off Libby's guilt ridden apology. "You didn't know. It's fine. I mean it's not but whatever." Libby felt like she was just hit with a ton of bricks again. Now trying to figure her best way out of this and now very curious about this girl's past about her late boyfriend. Probably should stop calling her Sid's not-girl-firend Libby quickly, thinking it was now in poor taste. While all of this was happening Sid remembered back to what Stone had said to him. "She lost more during that accident than you even know." This is what he must have meant. Jamey lost her boyfriend to an accident caused by her machine.

"What happened? If you don't mind me asking." Libby asked, earning a wide eyed look from Sid. Jamey now stopped what she was doing and turned to fully face the two teens who could see the glassy eyes Jamey now had. "We were both working on the machine that caused the accident but something went wrong and we went to the core of the incident to try and turn off the machine manually. Failing obviously and uhm." Jamey now had a few streams of tears falling down her face. "We were the closest to the explosion. It's a miracle I survived, but." Jamey couldn't even bring herself to say his name. "Your boyfriend didn't." Libby finished for her. All Jamey could do was nod sadly as she was trying to control her breathing as she tried to wipe away her tears from her face, but was failing as more and more fell. She was starting to get a little aggressive as her hands started to shake and her breathing became more uneven. Libby could not stand to watch this scene unfold. She quickly ran over to Jamey, hugging her, allowing the grieving girl to collaspe into her arms and sob. Libby gave a look to Sid and by the look on his face he did not know any of this. They shared a glance and confirmed their suspicions that Jamey never got to grieve over her boyfriend after the accident. Sid put his hands to his face trying to process everything. A lot of Jamey's actions were now starting to make sense. Sid couldn't even begin to comprehend the pain Jamey was dealing with, he should have asked, should have noticed something, but was brought to the shock remembering that he didn't really know much about her. Sid did not know why his heart ached when he thought of that. Were they even friends? He never introduced her as such. He was still angry at her for causing the accident but now he knows that she literally did everything she could to stop it. Risking her life to stop it. Lost her boyfriend because of it. Sid then nelt down looking at Jamey in Libby's arms with a saddened expression as her sobs quieted down and asked. "So how are they going to contain Force boy?"

Jamey didn't realize how happy she was that Sid was changing the topic. She had instantly regretted saying anything about AJ but at the same time happy she did. At that moment she felt lighter than she had in a while finally having a chance to grieve him. She got up from the floor. Sid helping Libby up and Jamey gently wiping to tear stains off her face before turning back to the two. "That is what I spent my day doing. I analyzed the data I received from you, Saunders and I and found something recessive. A sort of Mutant-gene. So I developed collars that in lame mans terms shut the genes' connection to the body off and leave the individual powerless. The army has already mass produced them and given them to local law enforcement." Seeing what the other two were doing Libby decided to join in. "But we still have to catch them?"

"Yup." Answered Jamey standing up and said. "If you excuse me I am going to take a nap. I just spent the last fifteen hours developing technology that didn't exist until eight hours ago. Also thank you for listening and asking about him. Just thank you. See you tomorrow for training." Without saying another word she began to leave with Goddard into another room. They both screamed. "Training!" Jamey's echo could be heard saying. "Yes, training." Libby gave a small smile. That girl was something else she thought. As Libby was preparing to go home Sid confronted her and asked. "About your plan, how did you know I was going to pop out at the right place?" Libby gave him a blank expression and said. "I didn't. But I had faith you could. That still doesn't change things between us." Before walking away.

Sid developed a smile and followed her out, but at the back of his mind he couldn't help but reply to the conversation a few minutes ago. During the accident Jamey lost her boyfriend and Stone had apparently known about him, he had also worked on the chamber as well. And if Stone was right about this maybe he really was right about the chamber too. Maybe his dad might know who it is. But that leaves one question: should he. Should he snoop into Jamey's life; she clearly didn't want to talk about it and it only came out because she was tired. Should he invade her privacy? It might help get to know her better. This was something he needed to sleep on especially if he had training in the morning.

Late that night, at 22:46 pm

Butch Thompson was walking out of some bar drunk. Making his way to his car he noticed a hooded figure standing before him. With a drunken tone he said. "What do you want?" The hooded figure pointed a gun at Butch blast at him. Putting his hands up he said. "Easy there buddy. You don't want to do this." The hooded figure fired the gun. The bullet made its way to Butch, only Special Guy got in the way, blocked the bullet, and smiled. "I don't think so buddy."

The hooded figure prepared to fire again but was disarmed and dealt invisible strikes. Invisister appeared. "I think you should stand down now." The hooded figure pointed his hands towards them. "What are you doing?" Asked Special Guy.

Special Guy, Invisister, and Butch both heard an ear piercing sound, forcing them to cover thier ears and were blasted away. Special Guy got up and saw that the hooded figure was gone. Hearing a ringing in his ears he screamed. "I GUESS WE FOUND ANOTHER MUTANT!" He looked around, and saw both the Invisister and Butch were unconcious. "NO!" Screamed Special Guy. At top speed Sid took Libby and Butch to Jamey's Lab. Jamey in her university hoodie that was clearly way too big for her that is actually hanging off her shoulder, covering her shorts, and her knees. Sid was trying really hard not to be distracted by the sight as she was currently examining him while Butch and Libby were recovering inside the Neutron Regeneration Pod. "So this mutant could control sound waves?" Asked Jamey. "YA!" Screamed Sid. "AM I GOING TO BE OKAY, I STILL CAN'T HEAR TO WELL!"

"Sure." Jamey said, nodding her head looking back at her notes. "WHAT!" Sid screamed. Jamey signed, turning toward Sid slamming her hands on the table, got in his face, and yelled back. "SURE! YOU JUST NEED TO GET IN THE POD!" Sid finally heard her and screamed back. "OKAY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCREAM!" Sid yelled back so loud it caused Jamey to flinch back a bit. Libby got out of the pod in time to see the whole scene confused. "What happened to me?" Jamey turned her attention to Libby trying to explain the situation. "You seem to have been hit by a sound attack. It ruptured your eardrum if the decibels were any higher your head would have exploded." Answered Jamey. "WHAT ABOUT BUTCH!" Asked Sid. Jamey replied "He.."

"WHAT!" Sid interrupted. Jamey just gave an unamused look at Sid then looked back at Libby holding her hand up signalling to give her a moment. Jamey proceeded to take Sid's hand and put him in the regeneration pod. Taking a deep breath she continued with her explanation. "As I was saying, the reason that Butch's recovery time is slower than yours Libby is because, when you mutated it changed your body slightly making you more durable like Sid, but obviously not to his extent." Jamey finished. "So how do we stop him?" Asked Libby. "I don't know right now. Go home I'll tell you when I figure it out. I'll tell Sid when he gets out of the pod." Answered Jamey, rubbing the temples of her forehead. Libby nodded in agreement. But before Libby left Jamey got on her phone and was frustrated that the person she was trying to call wasn't answering her and had not been answering her for the past few days. "What's up?" Libby asked curiously. "Nothing just… my brother isn't answering my calls." Jamey said, putting her phone down, figuring he was just asleep. "I didn't know you had a brother." Libby continued walking up next to the girl genius. "Yeah, since I graduated college we haven't been as close as I'd like and now after everything with the new powered mutants I'm just a little worried about him. We may live in the same house now sort of, since I am kind of bound to the lab and don't really want to bring my world of all this." Jamey said gesturing to the entiratly of her lab causing Libby to give a slight giggle as the genius continued. "All crashing down on him." Libby smiled at that thought thinking of a time when she and her brother were close.

"Yeah I know how brothers can be like." Jamey just turned to her. "You have a brother?" Libby just smiled and nodded. "What's his name?" Libby asked Jamey curious if she might know him so she culd possibly check up on him for her. Jamey looked at her. "Carl Wheezer. He's technically my step brother, but he's always had my back and I try to have his as well. Which is why this is really frustrating." Libby's eyes went big for a brief second but Jamey did not notice then Libby looked at her watch and realized that she needed to get going. With that she waved goodbye and left. The next day, Sid was walking to school with Brent. While they were walking Brent mentioned. "I'm so bummed that we have to go back to school."

"Come on, it's not that bad." Sid replied. "Maybe for you Mr 4.0 GPA. If I don't get at least a 'B' on my next math test I'll be held back a year. Again!" Commented Brent. "Don't worry I'll tutor you this..." Sid tried to say before he saw a girl with dark hair and a leather jacket getting off in her motorcycle. "Sid." Brent called, snapping his fingers. "Sid!" He called again, snapping his fingers again. "Back to earth?" Brent called trying to get Sid out of his daze. "Huh...What!" Sid said, coming back to his senses. "You were saying something?" Brent continued. "Oh ya...I was saying I will tutor you this weekend." Sid replied. They entered the school and saw Libby walking with her friends; Megan, Jenny, Kim, and Heather. "Ahhh! the plastics!" Commented Brent. The two groups were walking towards each other. Sid said. "Hey Libby." But Libby ignored him and simply walked past them with her friends. "Do you two know each other?" Asked Megan. "Of course not." Libby replied.

They continued down the hall. Brent looked at Sid. "What was that all about? Last week you looked ready to fight her, now you're saying hi." Sid just sighed and responded. "It's complicated. Retroville is not very big and I figured if we have to see them on a regular basis we might as well try to be civil." All Brent could do was shrug his shoulders at that and with that they continued down the halls.

Later that day it was lunch.

Sid and Brent sat at thier usual table with thier other friends. Sid notices Carl walking. He has always tried to make some sort of effort when it came to the boy who lived across the street from him, but just when he was about to invite him to his table, Heather, the girl from Sam's who tipped the waiter, pulled the exact same stunt and tripped Carl, making him fall on his food. Carl looked sad because of what happened. Looking to humiliate him more she said. "Hey everybody! Lard ass is upset his food is gone!" Some kids started laughing. Another girl Kim said. "Maybe if you concentrated less on food and more on watching where you're going things like this wouldn't happen." Carl began to tear up. "What fatass is going to cry!" Shouted Libby before she caught the glimps of Sid staring at her with disgust. Libby growned internally at making Carl ran out of the lunch room wishing she could take it back especially after learning what she did this morning, but she couldn't all she could do was hope Jamey never found out.

Sid tried to follow Carl out but couldn't find him. "Carl!" Sid called over and over again, but it was no use he was gone. After lunch Heather was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. The hooded figure appeared again. "What do you want?" Asked the girl, the hooded figure pointed his hands at her and unleashed a powerful sonic attack that sent her flying through the school door, shattering most of the windows in the school. Sid was coming out of the boy's bathroom when he heard the sound. He quickly rushed to the scene and saw Heather's body. He saw the hooded individuel. "What have you done!?" Sid screamed and picked up Heather and let the hooded figure get away. Sid managed to get her to Jamey's lab in time before anyone could see. Jamey whipped her head when she heard Sid enter her lab and noticed him putting the girl in the pod. "Another one?" Jamey asked running up to him now, getting worried about the rapid progression that these attacks were happening at. "We have to catch this guy quickly. The pod can only fit two people at a time."

"But how? He's not a thief, it seems he's just attacking random people." Commented Sid. "I don't think so." Jamey replied placing her hand on Sid to gester him to follow her as she then began walking to her computer. "What do Butch and Heather have in common." Jamey asked as she sat down while he leaned against her chair responding. "Nothin, besides the fact that thier massive..." Jamey gave him a quick look. "Sid, language!" Jamey interrupted. "Fine they're jerks." Finished Sid thinking that she must have heard cursing before when she was working at the military base. Suddenly both of their attension was drawn to Libby who had just rushed in and asked. "Is she okay!?" Jamey answered. "Ya for now." Libby walked over to the pod and saw Heather unconscious. "Why would somebody do this? Heather didn't deserve this." Sid didn't quite agree with that response. "Hmph I'd bet." Libby did not know if Sid had ment for her to hear, but she did and so did Jamey who was now quite literally caught in the middle wishing she wasn't. "What did you say?" Asked Libby angrily. "Well it's not like she was a saint or anything. She got what she deserved." Replied Sid. "How could you say something like that!" Asked Libby as Sid angrily looked at her. "Oh please you and your friends are nothing but self centered bi..."

"Sid! What did I tell you, language?" Jamey interrupted, but Libby said. "Look I get we can be bi..." Jamey looked at her now, which caused Libby to crook her head to try and save herself. "...rches, but no one deserves this." Sid calmed down and said. "All I'm saying is sometimes you get what you give, you guys torment people..."

"That's it! Tormenting people That's what these two have in common, thier ass's." Jamey interrupted leaving Sid to wonder if that was considered a swear. "How is that a news flash?" Asked Sid. "The guy who did this to them must've been one of thier victims." Answered Jamey. This allowed both Sid and Libby to follow Jamey's train of thought. Sid was glad to have gotten somewhere at least bringing them one step closer to stopping this guy. Libby on the other hand was least enthusiastic. "So to find this guy Libby you're going to have to tell us how many people you and your friends have bullied." Libby looked worried and said. "Well that may be a problem."

A little time passed.

"Wow really, that many, you guys better get back to school and keep an eye on things." Commented Jamey as she finished typing in all the names Libby had just told her into her computer. "Wait, you forgot one." Sid started causing Libby to look at him with big eyes shaking her head. This caught Jamey's attention turning her chair towards the girl who was now unusually silent. "Who is it? Libby, if you know someone else that needs to go on this list we need to know." Libby looked at Jamey and then at Sid who looked a little confused as to why Libby didn't want to admit this one name. Libby was silently pleading with Sid to say it when Jamey turned her head to now look at Sid to see if he would tell her. "Come on, will someone please tell who? What is the big deal?" Jamey said, now looking at Libby again. "It's." Sid started to say before Libby quickly cut him off. "Sid don't!"

"Come on Libby tell her!" Sid said as Libby violently shook her head. "No!" Sid was getting impassant he shouted. "Carl Wheezer!" That stopped everyone in their tracks. "Did you say Carl Wheezer?" Sid looked at Jamey now even more confused. "Yeah, why?" Jamey was almost shaking. "As in my brother Carl Wheezer! The one who I told you about YESTERDAY!?!" Sid could not believe this; he knew Carl lived on his street but never noticed what house he lived in. He was Jamey's brother? And Libby knew. And she still bullied him today.

Libby couldn't even look Jamey in the eye. Jamey was one of the first real girlfriends she thought she had that she didn't feel the need to put on an act, but she betrayed her trust. She bullied her brother and while Libby was dealing with this inner turmoil Sid did not stay silent. "Wait. So you found out who her brother was yesterday and you still bullied him today?" Jamey's head whipped to Sid's, looking him in the eye. "TODAY?" Libby took a deep breath before responding. "Yes. Ok I know I messed up. My friends are jerks. We have established that." Jamey couldn't believe that Libby was still making excuses for her behavior. "I'm sorry. Ok. This is why I didn't want to tell you." Libby said, looking at Sid. "I know how close you are with your brother." This made Sid want to hide a little at the fact that she was trying to protect Jamey by not telling her. Didn't make it right but still.

Now Libby was looking at Jamey. "Do you know what it was like growing up for me? Nobody cared about me. I was nine when I was in your grade and everyday just because A.) I fit and B.) They could. They would stuff me in lockers and hated me because my grades were still higher than theirs even when I missed my classes due to me being stuck in a locker screaming for the janitor to let me out. I had one friend. My brother Carl. So no we aren't close. He has always been there for me even when I didn't make it easy. I look up to him because he is the most caring person I know." Now Libby felt worse, but before she could say anything Goddard alerted them to the time and that Libby and Sid needed to get back to school. But before they left Jamey said. "Oh ya, before you go take these." And handed them two wireless wrist communicators to Sid not wanting to even look at Libby.

"Put those on and you can use them to talk to me or each other. And before I forget, take these." Jamey was still a little mad and her tone of voice was not afraid to show it, but Sid did not comment on it knowing that it was not aimed towards him. "Noise canceling earbuds?" Sid asked. "The Neutron Noise Canceling Earbuds will offer you some protection against these mutant's powers." Answered Jamey. Sid and Libby left the lab and went back to school. Sid and Libby walked into the school, Sid said. "We'll have to monitor your friends, where are they now?"

"Megan and Jenny have a free period right now so I'll watch them, Kim has trig so I don't know how we'll watch her." Replied Libby. "Don't worry, I have trig too. I'll watch her." Responded Sid. "If anything happens, call on the coms." Libby nodded in agreement. Libby was hanging with her friends and was acting paranoid. Jenny said. "Libby, are you okay, you look worried and you know what worries begins?" Libby looked at her with a questioning look. "What?" Libby asked. "Wrinkles." Jenny replied. "By the way, does anyone know where Heather is?" Asked Megan. "I haven't seen her since the tremor."

"I'm sure she'll show up eventually." Replied Libby. The hooded figure appeared again. "Hey, who's that." Asked Megan who dumbly just pointed to the hooded guy. Libby realizing who it was yelled. "Guys run now!" Her friends just looked at her like she was crazy. "Why?" Asked Jenny before she got her answer. The hooded figure extended his hands again, Libby grabbed her friends. The hooded figure sent out a sonic blast, Libby managed to get her friends out before the blast could hit her. "Who is that!?" Screamed Megan. "Right now it doesn't matter." Answered Libby as she managed to get her friends into a janitor's closet. "Stay here." She told them. She saw the hooded figure and began to run. "Sid! Come in Sid!" She screamed into the coms. "Dammit! The blast must've damaged the coms." Libby said it herself as she continued to run as the hooded figure followed her. They made thier way to the football field. "What do you want!?" Screamed Libby as they reached a somewhat secluded area. "Revenge." The hooded figure screamed, before they sent out another sonic blast which sent Libby flying by the blast. "At least the earbuds are working." Sid's classroom began shaking, he knew what it was, but Sid's teacher said. "Don't worry, it's just another tremor." Needing to leave Sid began to stomp on the ground, making the classroom shake make his teacher change their mind. "Alright, let's leave the classroom in a calm and orderly fashion." Everyone left the classroom and when everyone else was distracted by the commotion Sid left to check where the noise was coming from.

Libby vanished, the hooded figure looked around for Libby. He was dealt invisible strikes and was sent tumbling forward. His hood came off and revealed it was Carl Wheezer the shock caused Libby to appear and said. "Your Jamey's brother. Why are you doing this?" Car looked at her viciously. "I'm getting revenge on everybody that has ever hurt me!" He was about to send another blast when he realized something. "How do you know Jamey?" Libby was about to answer him but instead of waiting for an answer he let out another sonic blast that sent Libby flying to a wall. Libby couldn't get up as shebegan to vomit up blood forcing her to just lay against the wall. She looked at Carl who was walking closer to her and said. "You don't have to do this. Jamey told me that you are a kind, sweet person who has always been there for her. She looks up to you." Carl immediately stopped for a moment. Libby thought that it was working that maybe she could get through to him, but she was mistaken. "You're wrong there's no way Jamey looks up to a loser like me."

Libby could see the pain in his eyes. The pain that she caused. She did this. Not only had she hurt Carl, but she also hurt Jamey too. Libby knew that she had to keep trying to save Carl. To stop him from ruining his life if not for him for Jamey. The conversation about Jamey's brother and Jamey's late boyfriend began to echo through her head. She is not going to let Jamey lose anyone else. Libby was not going to let Jamey lose her brother like she had. She had to keep trying. "She doesn't think you're a loser and neither do I not anymore. I'm so sorry. Please you don't have to do this." Carl was so fueled with his pain that he wasn't listening to her please but he did reply to her with a. "Yes I do have to do this!" Before preparing to blast her again.

"No?" Libby screamed, waving her hands. "Jamey won't want this." Carl was getting more and more mad about his sister's name being used against him. "How would you know? I've made sure that she doesn't even know about this. As much as I have hated ignoring her. I have kept this from her for her sake." Libby looked at him with fear in her eyes worrying that she's not getting through to him. "Yes, she does right now she is yelling in my ear saying that this isn't you." Carl looked like he was about to break into tears. Libby saw this seeing that she was finally getting through to him. "I understand how you feel, helpless, scared and willing to do anything to make it go away." Carl lowered his hands and said. "Go on." Libby looked at him. "I used to be like you. I was a nerdy girl that used to be bullied all the time. I decided to change everything about myself; how I looked, how I acted, basically everything about myself."

"Why?" Asked Carl. "I wanted the bullying to stop, so I became just like them." She answered. "Then maybe I should be just like you?" Asked Carl, already feeling as though he's lost Jamey. "Or you could be better than me." Replied Libby. "What!? What would I have left to lose if I didn't?" Carl asked. "Jamey, you would have Jamey to lose. Look I hurt people, just so I wouldn't be hurt. I'm a coward. Trust me, everytime you compromise your values to get what you want, it takes away a chunk of your humanity. And I know for a fact that your sister would never want that for you and neither do I. You deserve so much better than that." Libby commented. Carl looked at her. "Why should I believe anything you tell me?" Libby took a deep breath before continuing her pitch. "I told that other boy, I was doing this superhero, vigilante thing to protect my friends and family but the real reason is when he approached me I found a way to make up for everything I had done in the past." Answered Libby hoping that she finally won him over.

"What difference does it make if you keep hurting people? Like what you did to me today." Asked Carl trying to stay angry, shaking, and on the verge of tears falling freely. "I guess you're right." Replied Libby realizing that it was easy to be good with a mask on, but for her to truly make up for what she had done she needs to make a difference with her mask off. Carl pointed his hands at her again and looked at her viciously, but began to shake violently. "I can't do it!" Carl screamed as he threw his arms down. He walked up to Libby, helped her up. "I don't want to regret anything I do." Libby smiled at him, giving him a hug. "You sure won't." Sid came out of the darkness with his arms crossed in front og his torso and a smug smile on his face. "I'm glad that worked out." Libby could not believe that Sid was just standing there and did nothing. She was about to die. "You were here all this time!?" Screamed Libby walking up to him slapping his arm then remembering that he could not feel it. "Yes, now let's get you two back to Nerdtron." Replied Sid as he took Carl and Libby back to Jamey's lab.

When they got to the lab Jamey rushed to Carl with tears in her eyes and engulfed him in the biggest hug she could give. One which he returned immediately resting his face in her hair letting all the tears he had held back fall. They stood there for a moment while Sid and Libby went to sit down to watch the two siblings. Libby still felt awful at what she had helped cause. At what she almost ruined. It was very clear that Jamey did not have a lot of people in her life. She and Sid were new to it but Carl had always been there for her and she needed him. And Libby believes that Carl needs her as well. She was soon snapped out of her thoughts when out of nowhere Jamey broke the hug and slapped Carl in the arm. "What were you thinking? Why didn't you come to me or talk to me? About the powers! About the bullying! About any of it! I could have helped you!" Jamey was looking into Carl's tear filled eyes trying to make sense of this. Libby was still a little stund at the sudden change of mood. Carl looked over at Sid and Libby who quickly turned away like they weren't wrapped up in this conversation, he looked back at his sister. "I know you would have helped. You're the one person I know who I can rely on for anything."

"Then why didn't you?" Jamey could not understand why he didn't just come to her. Carl finally made eye contact with his sister. "Because I know you. You didn't even want to go to college because you were worried about me being alone. I knew if I told you I was having problems you wouldn't hesitate to come back home to try and help me." Jamey was still confused. "How is that a bad thing? We promised each other that we would always have each other's backs." Libby could not help but smile at that. They really did try to take care of one another. "Jamey you can't stop your life every time something goes wrong in mine. You are destined for great things. I didn't want to hold you back. Which is why I ghosted you once I got my powers." Jamey was mad at him but understood where he was coming from. "That wasn't your call to make. You don't get to cut yourself off from my life. You're stuck with me, remember? Also whoever told you that you were holding me back is 100% wrong. You don't. You never have. You push me to be better. To do better. You have never held me back to get those incorrect thoughts out of your head." Carl could only chuckle at his sister. He really did miss her. They began to walk towards the others who were watching the sweet brother sister moment. When Jamey remembered that she needed to examine Libby. "Libby I almost forgot. Let me take a look at you."

"Don't worry about it. You're fine." Libby said, smiling at Jamey as she quickly looked her over. "Good news is that you'll be just fine." Carl let out a breath he had been holding. "That's great!" Carl said. "What about Butch and Heather?" Jamey walked up to Carl and said. "Don't worry bro they'll be just fine. By the way, how did you get your powers?" Carl looked at her and answered. "After that weird thing hit the town. After a few days I started to develop what I would call a sonic burp. After a while I figured out I could do it without burping and the rest is history." Sid jumped in joining the conversation. "So what are we going to do about our little friend?" Jamey sat down and said. "Since no one died and Carl is sorry about what he did I think he should join the team. That's if he wants to. I hope you do."

"What do you say Carl, want to join the team." Libby asked Carl who looked unsure. "I don't know guys, all my powers seem to be capable of hurting people." Jamey looked her brother in the eye before denying him of that claim. "That's from your perspective Carl, with my help we can figure out just what you are really capable of. Also we would get to spend more time together since I technically live in this lab." Giving her brother an encouraging smile. "Then okay." Replied Carl. "If he's going to join, he'll need a codename." Commented Sid glad to see a genuine smile on Jamey's face for the first since he met her at the base. "What about Soundwave?" Asked Libby. "That would be cool, if it didn't belong to a transformer. It has to be something catchy." Jamey thought hard about it before she snapped her fingers. "How about Feedback from you know, audio feedback."

"I like it." Sid commented with a shug. "It's cool." Libby agreed, nodding her head. Carl picked up a purple flurp that was on Jamey's desk and said. "I don't know guy's." He took a drink of purple flurp. "Does it really scream Carl?" Before Carl could finish he released a powerful sonic burp that shook the entire lab. "That was awesome!" Screamed Jamey laughing. "You have to do that again." Sid shouted who was being a total guy about the burp. "Really?" Asked Carl. "Of course, that was the greatest thing I ever saw." Sid replied. "Maybe your name should be Burp Boy." They all began to laugh. "Maybe we should leave these two to bond." Said Libby as she walked up to Sid pulling him from the conversation. "I think so too." Sid reluctantly agreed. They left the lab and heard another sonic burp. "I heard what you said Libby." She looked at him a little confused. "About what?" She asked like she had no clue what he was saying. "About making up for your mistakes." Replied Sid, causing Libby to let out a sigh. "Oh….That. That was just to stop Carl." Replied Libby, acting like it was nothing. "Really?" Asked Sid. "Yes really. I'm also really glad that Carl and Jamey are on better terms. I also hope that she won't be mad at me anymore for what I did." Sid smiled at this. "You know if it was true, about your mistakes, then I would say you're doing a great job." Before walking away. Libby smiled and said to herself. "I guess I am." Before following Sid. "I also think that you just need to give Jamey a few days and she'll be fine." Sid had stopped so Libby could catch up with him. "You realy think so?" She asked, still not convinced. "Yeah. You'll get your 'best friend' back." Sid said this entirelly joking about the best friend part but it still made Libby feel better about the day.

In a town called Uber town.

A man was trying to break into an ATM when a police officer found him. "Put your hands behind your head and turn around!" Screamed the officer. "Is there a problem officer?" Said the man turning around. "I said hands behind your head. Now!" Screamed the officer. The man smiled and an eye opened on his forehead followed by a bright flash.

Hoped you enjoyed chapter 2 of this story. Like I said this is just my spin on things I wish I could take ownership of everything but I can't. I'll try to update soon.
