"You're embarrassed of me,just fucking admit it Dante!" Lulu Spencer snapped, having about enough of being shaded in front of his cop friends, she stood up from their table at Jakes. Over at the other end of the bar, Ethan Lovett and Johnny Zacchara sat at a table after a long day of work drinking a couple of beers.
"Hey you two." Matt Hunter wanders over to where they sat, beer in hand.
"Hey, Hunter." They both waved at him.
"Say what you want about Johnny but, he was never embarrassed of me. Your a really fucking shitty boyfriend! You won't show any affection towards me in public, you won't take me out on even one date. I really wish you would do better because I'm getting tired." Lulu Spencer's voice carried over to them, she looked like she wanted to cry but everyone knew Lulu wouldn't cry in public.
"Falconeri doesn't get to treat Lulu like that, it's not right." Johnny looked at his best friend.
"I think you should do something about it, she needs saving. Badly." Ethan sighed, knowing Dante had a pounding coming later.
"Way ahead of you, buddy." Johnny nods, getting up from his seat with Ethan and Matt cheering him on. Johnny walked over to Dante and Lulu who were still arguing, Johnny tapped Dante on the shoulder and when he turned around Johnny socked him right on the jaw.
"You and Lulu are done, because she's with me. I don't care if you have a problem with it, I have a problem with you treating Lulu like shit when she's a beautiful woman who deserves the world. It's her world, we're all just living in it. Come on Lu, let's go on that date." Johnny spoke with ease, smirking a bit as he held out his hand to her.
"He's pulling out all the steps, we should all aspire to be as smooth as Johnny Zacchara. I thought I was smooth but, clearly I've got a lot to learn." Matt says to Ethan, taking a sip of beer.
"Yeah, me too. That was nice." Ethan agreed.
"He's right, we are done. I would be happy to go on that date with you, let's get out of here."Lulu smiles a bit, taking his hand with no hesitation.
"You're going to be doing a lot less crying, because I could never be embarrassed of you." Johnny led her out of Jake's and to his car.
"How long do you think it will be before Ethan ends up in jail?" Lulu smirked at him.
"Oh, about .5 seconds. You know Lovett." Johnny chuckled, opening the passenger door for her.
"I do, I do. Thank you, it's been awhile since anyone's opened the door for me." Lulu slid into the passenger side.
"If there's one thing my mom taught me, it's how to be a gentleman. You deserve everything and, I'm going to be the one to give you that." Johnny looked at her all joking gone from his face.
"You really meant it? It wasn't just to save me?" Lulu glanced at him.
"Of course I mean it, with you it's never been half ass. I fell in love with you when I was eighteen years old and, I've never stopped. I know that I'm not the best guy but, with you I'm worth a damn." Johnny didn't often confess his feelings but, with her it had always been different. Lulu leaned over to kiss him and he met her half way, both of them had been missing each other since their break-up.
"You know, I've really missed you. With Dante it was just one disappointment after another, it was never like that with you. Hell, you'd welcome me home with roses and beer. I suppose you had about the same luck with Olivia?"Lulu couldn't describe how much better it felt to be with Johnny.
"I've missed you too, baby girl. I couldn't imagine keeping you cooped up in the house. Yeah, Liv was no damn picnic good God. I'd rather fight with Lovett." Johnny rolled his eyes just thinking about Olivia.
"Have you and my brother ever been even fought?* A smirk made its way across her face.
"Well no, but I'm making a point." Johnny gives her a look.
"I think I'd pay to see you and Ethan fight." Lulu dissolved into giggles.
"Do you wanna go on a date or not?* Johnny laughed, shaking his head.
