Hey. HotPink Tigeress here. I know I shouldn't be working on so many stories at once, but I have no inspiration to continue the others just yet. I'll try to complete them eventually. Sorry in advance for the fact that this sucks.

I was supposed to be going to summer camp, but I missed the bus by two seconds!

Crap!

Then, a car sped past me, racing over a puddle of mud and getting me all dirty!

This is the worst day of my life! I thought.

As I thought things couldn't get any worse, I felt really dizzy all of a sudden, and my head started spinning, and everything went dark.

When I woke, I was in a forest. Was missing the bus just a dream? Had I actually made it to camp?

Everything seemed much bigger. I tried to stand back up on two feet, but I fell back down. I tried standing on all fours, and it worked! Why, though? Had I transformed into something? I looked down at my hands, nay, paws. I also noticed I had brown fur all over my body. I didn't know what to think.

I walked for a bit, and I saw a brown rabbit-like creature with white fur around its neck and darker fur on its back. It also had a short little cotton-ball tail.

She was facing a line of more of what seemed to be the same species.

"Greetings, campers," she said. "I am Starling, director and owner of Camp Eevee. Is everyone here? Let's do a role call. Poppy."

"I-I'm here!" squeaked a tiny pink one with dark blue eyes.

"Ginger?"

"Present," said a smooth-looking brown one.

"Dusk."

"I'm here... I think," said one with layers of white fur on its chest.

Starling chuckle as she continued, "Spruce?"

"I'm here," said a fluffy one who had a face that looked like that of a Yorkshire Terrier, but with a shorter snout. He wore a dark green scarf around his neck. Why, though? It's summer!

"Spruce, why are you wearing a scarf?!" said Starling. "It's summer!"

That's what I was thinking!

"My signature look," said Spruce. "I never take this baby off."

"Not even in the shower?" snickered a creature who had the same form as all the others but with a bigger tail.

"Shower? As if! I'd never get my scarf wet!"

So, does that guy never shower? That's gross.

"Lilian?" said Starling.

"Present," said the girl who had teased Spruce.

"Oakly," said Starling.

"Present," said one who had a really fluffy white mane.

"Briar?"

"Here," said a small one.

"Leaf."

"Here," said one who was slightly taller than the others.

"Sky?"

"Oh?" said one who had a yellow-and-cyan mane. "Yeah, that's me. I'm here."

"Tulip and Daisy?"

"We're present," said one that had a smaller one beside it.

"Acorn,"

"Present," said a darker-furred one.

"Okay... I think that's all," said Starling. "Where's Fern?" She glanced around until her gaze fell on me. "Fern! There you are!" She approached me. "Come on now, daughter," she said to me, "This is your first year as a C.I.T at Camp Eevee."

Okay. I am not the daughter of whatever that thing is, my name is not Fern, and this would not have been my first year as a C.I.T! I didn't know what to do in that situation, so I just decided to go along with it.

"Yeah, I'm really excited to be a C.I.T for Camp Eevee," I lied.

"Really," she said. "That's on the contrary to what you said this morning, but I'm glad you've changed your mind!"

What have I gotten myself into?

I should have added more description. I should have made this longer. But I didn't feel like it. :(

I wrote this a while back, and I decided to post it just now.

So, uhm... Please review, check out my profile, or... whatever.

The story, Camp Pokémon by Gyvarius inspired me to write this fic. Go check it out. It should be in my Favorites List. Somewhere. Or just search it up. It might be more convenient to search it up.
