Chapter 4

Brenda was having dinner with her mother Erica at the Port Charles hotel restaurant. Brenda had alot to talk about she didn't bring up her father's true wishes for her. Brenda however was now considering not to get involved with the Mob and she didn't know how to make this confession to her own father but she still had the gun he gave her. Brenda wanted to toss it but she didn't know if she could do it. She didn't want to disappoint her father but being model and pursuing the restaurant business she would be better off. Her sister's were right Daddy's business was just too dangerous and awful. Brenda couldn't even think of taking away someone's life it was not in her to do so.

Brenda: I have a friend she has put new perspective's in my life. Mom you were right about Dad's business it's not for me. I should pursue modeling and work on that Mexican Restaurant.

Erica: Oh sweetie I'm so glad to hear this but who is this friend of your's is she someone I would like.

Brenda: Carly.

Erica: Marlena's daughter wow I'm impressed well I hope it works out between the two of you.

Little did Brenda know her father Jack overheard Carly's name as she joined them.

Jack: I don't know sweetheart her father Mitch he's well we are good friends I haven't seen him for weeks.

Brenda: Yeah about that I don't think Carly wants to be anywhere near her own father something happend to her she hasn't confessed it to me. She's just not much to talking about it yet.

Carly enter's the Port Charles hotel with her mom Marlena she see's Brenda and Carly brings up the fact she's found a friend in Brenda.

Marlena: That's amazing I'm happy to hear that darling. I've seperated from your father and threw his things and locked him out of the house he will never get near you ever again. Your sister's know and they are furious with him.

Carly: Thank you Mom but still he need's to be gone for good he's still breathing and capable of getting to me. I need to be rid of him once and for all.

Marlena: I know you do but I will not allow him near you.

Carly: I know you will Mom but not even you have the power to stop him. I want to start a life without him period with no worries and I have come up with a solution to have him removed.

Later on Brenda was at the local grocery store picking out things to eat. She happens to notice Sonny and remembered seeing him at Kelly's he was so handsome. She decides to say hi not knowing if it would lead to something magical but she did.

Brenda: We meet again.

Sonny: Hi you usually out this late at night it's not safe sweetheart.

Brenda couldn't deny Sonny was gorgeous and all scruffy looking she also liked his necklace.

Brenda: Oh don't worry my father wouldn't let anything happen to me.

Sonny: Well that's very good um I have to go so I'll see you around perhaps.

Brenda: Actually before you go I was wondering would you like to go out on a date. I mean I've never really had a boyfriend or have experienced the presence of a man romantically before. I would like to try somewhere.

Sonny: Here's my number call me just um try to take slow okay your very beautiful I'm pretty sure guys fall at your feet.

Brenda: I'm my mother's daughter wait till you meet her.

Carly enter's the grocery store and runs into Lorenzo.

Lorenzo: The beautiful Carly it's a pleasure Lorenzo.

Carly: Yes I've seen you around at Kelly's you are very handsome.

Lorenzo: Thank you your a beautiful woman.

Carly thought about her father and as Lorenzo went to shake her hand she was a bit hesitant but she shook it and he goes to caress her cheek. He was so soft and gentle.

Carly: I'm sorry me and the male department aren't on very good terms right now. I think your wasting your time with me.

Lorenzo: Your worth it as gorgeous as you are and your hair your eyes everything about you is worth it to me.

Suddenly Mitch appears to see Carly the daughter he raped but favored so much.

Carly: What are you doing here?

Mitch: Making sure no other man replaces me in your heart darling.

Brenda noticed and told Sonny she had to leave to help her friend Carly out with a situation.
