Johnny had come by The Haunted Star early to prepare for the big night, and of course to avoid having to think about his life.

"Did I really kill Anthony or was it all in my head? Ugh, maybe I do need to see a shrink." Johnny shakes his head, glad that he was alone.

"What did you say?* Starr Manning quirked an eyebrow, leaning in the corner of the main room flipping through a magazine.

"What do you think I said?* Johnny asked, almost afraid to answer.

"All I heard was something about a shrink, which who doesn't need one of those? All of us are pretty fucked in the head." Starr let a light smirk play on her lips, before lightly shrugging one shoulder.

"You're not lying." Johnny let out a chuckle, letting out a breath he'd been holding in.

"So, where's Carly?" Starr changed the subject, deciding not to address why he was acting weird.

"Carly's at the hotel, don't tell Michael but I don't know if things are going to work between us." Johnny has been contemplating this for awhile, but hasn't brought anything up to Carly yet.

"Because of Lulu?" Starr asked, putting her magazine down and Johnny stopped for a minute and just stared at his friend.

"What!" Johnny laughed, shocked at her statement. If this were coming from someone like Maxie or Spinelli it would be less of a shock but, Starr has barely been in Port Charles for two months.

"Don't look at me like that, I've seen the relationship between you and Lulu. If Dante didn't exist, I bet you anything that you two would be together. Carly's rebounding with you, you two aren't meant to last. Come on Johnny, I'm not dumb." Starr rolled her eyes, walking towards him.

"Lulu and I...that was a long time ago." Johnny couldn't allow himself to think about his ex-girlfriend like she was a single woman, because she wasn't.

"What an ass!* They both heard from outside, as white stilettos clicked onto the floor followed by Lulu Spencer throwing her purse onto the counter of the bar.

"Hello to you, too." Starr chuckled, amused.

"Oh sorry, I thought I was alone. How are you? Are you excited about tonight?" Lulu cringed upon seeing she wasn't alone, biting her lower lip.

"A little nervous, a little excited. What about you? It is your boat, after all." Starr looked at Lulu, knowing she seemed pissed off.

"I... would be more excited if my husband would just shut the fuck up and let me live my life! Oh wait he can't do that...he's a cop. They suck the fun out of every single thing. Honestly, half of me hopes Dante just doesn't show up tonight." Lulu shrugged, blowing off steam before all the guests would be arriving.

"You really seem to dislike Dante." Starr noted, curious.

"There's a reason Spencer's don't get married and, I finally understand it. Everything falls apart, I'm not even sure marriage is what I wanted. It's what Olivia wanted. It's what Dante wanted. What does Lulu want? Because it sure as hell isn't this." Lulu sadly shook her head, walking outside to the deck without saying another word.

"You know, you could be what she wants." Starr shrugged, giving him a knowing look.

"No." Johnny shut her down, before walking out on the deck to join Lulu.

"How much of a drama queen am I?" Lulu chuckles, staring out at the harbor.

"You're not, I'd kick his ass if you'd let me."Johnny smirked at her, earning a tiny smile back.

"Why is it so easy to talk to you but, so hard to talk to Dante? I feel trapped in my own life... Like I'm married to goody two shoes Sonny Corinthos. Johnny, what are we doing with our lives?* Lulu glanced over at him.

"I wish I knew."
