Hachiman couldn't tell where he was, it's dark and something about it felt different like he wasn't supposed to be here or at least not yet. He was still wearing his uniform from school, had he even made it to school?

He genuinely couldn't remember anything from the day before, everything was so hazy around him like fog. He tried looking around the darkness around him but he didn't see anything. Just an empty space that seemed almost like it stretched into infinity.

"Do not worry, scorned one,we shall show our true selves in time."A feminine voice spoke from within him before a high pitched scream tore him back into reality . He felt himself startle awake and sat bolt upright off the ground and he quickly realized he was in what seemed to be a twisted version of his school.

The windows were broken revealing a endless abyss outside and dark liquid dripping from the ceiling as bodies that seemed to be made out of shadows hung from the walls. Their lifeless stares sent chills down his spine as they all appeared to have once been human beings but were no longer living, decaying corpses that would continue to hang for many years to come.

The sound of footsteps and heavy breathing came from behind him causing Hachiman to turn around quickly only for a girl to collide into his chest, which he managed to catch by putting his hands underneath her arms. She looked at him wide eyed staring up at him.

"Hikki!"The girl exclaimed and he quickly recognized that this girl was Yui Yuigahama from his class . She looked absolutely terrified but somehow managed to pull herself together enough to ask,"Where are we?"causing him to softly sigh before responding.

"I don't know but what happened to you?" He asked gently while helping her stand up straight. Her eyes widen again and suddenly she gasped and pointed towards the ceiling before yelling, "The monster is back!".

Hachiman looked upwards to find a massive creature moving toward him slowly, it's large teeth bared threateningly. He took a step back while raising his hands up defensively when it started charging.It charged forward and Hachiman was too slow to react. The monster knocked him into the air with its giant tail sending him skidding across the floor before stopping. Its jaws opened wider revealing hundreds of sharp jagged teeth that glistened in the bright fluorescent lights above them as it prepared to devour him.Hachiman shut his eyes preparing for impact only to hear a crack as Yui slammed a broom into the creatures back causing said broom to break but it got the creatures attention away from Hachiman.

The creature backhanded Yui Yuigahama across the floor sending her flying and landing on the opposite wall of the hallway. She let out a cry before trying to stand back up but the creature was already making its way over to her. It lifted Yui up into the air by the neck and began to squeeze as she continued to struggle weakly.

Hachiman let out a growl of anger before stumbling to his feet,A sudden burst of energy shot through his body like a raging fire before he heard that familiar voice.

"Thou art I and I am thou.

Within the depths of thy soul,

I am Izanami, the harbinger of rebirth and transformation.

With my power, we shall break through the illusions that shroud thy existence.

Embrace the shadows within, for it is through acceptance that true growth and authenticity shall flourish."

A smirk spread across his face as fire come up from the ground and up his body, eventually the fire died out revealing Hachiman in a purple trench coat , a black scarf tied loosely at his neck and black trousers and boots on his feet.

"Let's ravage them, Izanami!"Hachiman roared as a figure appeared behind him,It was a woman clad in a ragged purple kimono with long black flowing hair and glowing red eyes ,her lips curled into a sinister smile as she held two wakizashis in each hand.

"As you wish!"She laughed happily and rushed at the monster, beheading it in a single strike and killing it instantly"AHHH-"The monsters head exploded into pieces, the monster disintegrated leaving nothing behind besides Yui looking at Hachiman and Izanami in awe.
