Azawa Shouta sat on the couch with his husband and their two cats, when he received a call from Tsukauchi Naomasa with little to no explanation.

With lots of colorful language and much protest from his husband, Azawa dragged himself out the door and taken to the police station.

When he arrived at the police station, he was directed to Tsukauchi's office by Detective Sansa. The cat man looked worried. Aizawa grew even more concerned as they walked.

When he arrived at the Tsukauchi office, the man looked absolutely pissed as he went through files and scrolled through his computer.

Aizawa greeted Tsukauchi, finally looking up from his computer. His frown smoothed out into a relieved smile.

"Aizawa just the man I needed to see," Tsukauchi said with an exasperated sigh, closing his eyes and rubbing his temples.

"What's going on?" Aizawa raised an eyebrow, "You're usually at home at this time." Aizawa said, checking the time, it was 3:29 AM.

"Hawks found a kid, around the age of ten or eleven, trying to jump off a rooftop," Tsukauchi said. Aizawa's breath hitched.

"Is the kid okay?" Aizawa asked, the look of fear and concern clear in his voice.

"He's fine," Tsukauchi said. "He had a forced maneuver quirk that saved his life." Aizawa let out a sigh of relief.

"What brought the kid to jumping?" Aizawa asked, feeling that this had something to do with the way this conversation was going.

Izuku woke up to warmth and a lot of red...why was there so much red!? Izuku tried to get up, he really did, but his arms were stuck.

Izuku stopped squirming when whatever or however it was holding him shifted the red feathers that were holding him down.

Suddenly, Izuku remembered what had happened on the roof, his wings, the hospital, Hawks, the question, and the warm embrace.

Izuku stopped squirming and looked up to see golden eyes looking back at him. Izuku blinked, his eyebrows pinching together.

"morning baby Bird" Hawks chirped his wings letting go of the boy with his arms still tightly raped around the boy.

Izuku freezes up as the thought of being hugged by Hawks registers in his brain. Izuku blinks once more, his eyes widening before stars appear in them.

Izuku's wings flutter in excitement as multiple questions and theories popping into his head as he lets out multiple happy chirps that make Hawks smile.

After a while, Izuku looks back at his wings with curiosity, and his wings doing a few experimental flap.

"I wonder what type of bird I am," Izuku mused aloud, turning his bright green eyes towards the hawk.

"Probably an eagle going off the white on the inside of your wings," Hawks said, looking at Izuku's wings. "I can ask a doctor if you want."

Izuku's head whipped around towards the door as he heard footsteps getting closer. After a moment, the door swung open and a green-haired woman stood in the doorway.

Izuku winced at the sudden noise curling into himself as he registered the person standing in the doorway.

After the divorce Inko started drinking and became more and more violent as time went on, until finally she just left the boy alone.

Inko Midoriya was pissed; her good-for-nothing son had gotten caught while trying to kill himself, and now she had to deal with the consequences.

Inko swung the hospital door open in a fit of rage, not seeing that Hawks was holding onto her son.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Can you really not do anything right? Why didn't I just get rid of you when..." Inko trailed off, realizing there was a pro hero in the room.

Her blood went cold and her eyes widened as her words finally caught up with her brain.

"P-Pro hero Ha-Hawks" Inko stuttered out trying to come up with a good lie to get herself out of this situation

Keigo was confused when the baby bird turned towards the door. After a few seconds, he could hear the footsteps getting closer to the door.

After a while, the door swung open. reveling a short woman with long dark green hair.

As soon as the woman stepped into the room, she started yelling, not seeming to notice him. This was strange since he wasn't hard to miss, especially with his bright red wings.

Before the woman could notice him, he used a feather to record her with his phone. Going by appearances alone, she was probably the boy's mother.

When the woman finally noticed him, her face went pale and her words stuttered to a halt. Keigo raised an eyebrow.

After a while of silence, the woman began spewing out random lies that Kaigo didn't listen to until the woman said something that caught his attention.

"Izuku, how dare you bother someone who has more important things than saving a useless child like you?" Izuku flinched, his eyes widening.
