Uhh, no trigger warnings. I think? Anyways, just want to let you know that I probably won't be posting this frequently in the future, I just have some chapters prewritten.

Part 3

Fin stood in front of the bathroom door, unsure of his next course of action. He told Amanda he'd get her a pad, the problem was, where? He debated between three options. One, ask Liv; that would probably be the quickest way, but it would, without a doubt, embarrass the blonde detective more than she already was. Two, go to the store; the problem with that was…well, he has no clue what he's even supposed to do once he's there. Three, check and see if they keep any to give to victims. Fin stood there for another moment before deciding that three was definitely the best. If he could find them that is.

He walks towards the storage closet, doing his best to ignore the observant gaze of his Sergeant who seems to be watching the events of the day unfold, unsure of whether or not to step in. He opens the closet to reveal the stock of NYPD sweats and blankets. After rummaging for a few moments he's able to find where they store the soaps and shampoos for the showers. Finally, he lands on a box labeled sanitary pads. Logically he knows he only needs to take one out of the box, but his anxiety about doing what it is Amanda needs at the moment wins and he takes an entire unopened box, grabbing a pair of NYPD sweats just in case as well as a bottle of OTC painkillers. He's sure Amanda probably has some in her bag, but he'd rather have them anyway, plus an excuse to take free things from the precinct, he isn't complaining. Especially something as useful as painkillers. As he passes the desks again, he sees Liv's eyebrows raise, but still, she says nothing.

"Manda," Fin calls out, knocking on the bathroom door again. He walks into the bathroom wordlessly and slides everything under the stall door.

"Thanks, Fin," Amanda replies, her voice coming out slightly strained.

"No problem," Fin replies, "Let me know if you need anything else," he adds, walking out of the women's bathroom.

Amanda glances at the objects Fin had passed underneath the door moments prior. She smiles slightly at the other items he thought to include. Thanks, Fin. She really didn't deserve a partner like him.

Amanda stands at the bathroom sink, feeling an extreme sense of relief, after having changed into new clothes. Albeit a little mortified by what she had just put her partner through and the fact that the time she'd spent in the bathroom was nearing half an hour. And looking up at the mirror, she notices how red and puffy her eyes are, making the fact that she had just been crying blatantly obvious.

Standing with her hands braced on the ledge of the sink, Amanda's mind begins to race. Stupid. This is so stupid. I'm so stupid. I can't believe this is happening. I can't believe let that happen. Again. I can't- I can't- can't-

"This is fucking amazing," Amanda mumbles as another wave of cramps pulls her out of her thoughts, "Get it together"

She stares at herself in the mirror again. Her eyes are still red, but not quite as puffy. She resolves to push herself off of the counter, walk back into the bullpen, and go back to work… or maybe home. As she pushes herself off the counter nausea and dizziness crash over her, and she finds herself sitting on the bathroom floor, throwing up into one of the toilets.

"Fin, my office," Liv calls out as soon as he walks back into the squad room. Fin walks straight into her office, casting a look at Amaro who has returned to angrily filling out paperwork.

Amanda stays seated on the bathroom floor, a hot flush washing over her one moment, and a cold spell washing over her the next. Semi-aware that she's probably been sitting on the floor for at least ten minutes, she knows she needs to get up.

"Where's Rollins?" Olivia asks, lowering her glasses to look up at the detective.

"I just went to check in on her," Fin replied, not wanting to reveal too much to his Sergeant. "She just needed a minute."

On cue, Fin and Olivia watch as Amanda comes back into the squad room, falling into her desk chair more heavily than intended. With a shared look, Fin returns to his desk and Olivia turns back into her office,

"Rollins! My office," Liv calls out, going to sit at her desk. She watches through the window as Amanda braces her hands on her desk for a moment, before pushing herself off of her chair and walking quickly into the Sergeant's office. Liv doesn't miss the stiffness in Amanda's walk, or how she presses her hands briefly into her lower abdomen before letting them fall to her sides.

"Yes sarge," Amanda replies, standing in the doorway.

"Come on in Rollins, have a seat," Olivia says, standing up to close the office door as she watches Amanda lower herself carefully onto the couch. "So," she begins her tone still harsher than she would like.

"Sorry about earlier," Rollins interjects. She opens her mouth as if she's about to add something, but closes it again as she presses her hands back into her stomach.

"Amanda," Liv continues, voice softening slightly, "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, sarge," Amanda nods, "Everything is fine."

"Look, Amanda. I know it's not my place as your CO but, you did just run out of an interrogation and stay in the bathroom for nearly an hour. If something is going on, you can tell me, " Liv continues, moving to sit on the opposite end of the couch.

"It's nothing, alright? I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself," Amanda insists, bracing her hands on the couch, preparing to stand.

"Okay," Liv responds, her relationship with Rollins wasn't exactly one that would encourage the blonde to confide in her, "You know Rollins, with the UC op and New Year's coming up, why don't you leave early, take tomorrow off?" Liv suggests.

"Thanks, sarge, but with the paperwork for UC and the case…"

"Take a day Amanda. Okay? I know even after all this time UC can still shake people up. Plus you've been working OT constantly, you need a day," Olivia insists, "That's an order," she adds as she sees Amanda's mouth open in protest.

Rollins stands up, looking like she's about to oppose before her phone screen lights up and she nods her head reluctantly. "Okay," she says, looking up from the screen, "I guess I'll see you in a day," she nods before turning quickly out of Liv's office, grabbing her stuff, and practically racing out of the precinct.

Liv settles back down at her desk chair, taking mental notes on how quickly Rollins rushed out, and more noticeably, her abrupt change of clothes.
