Plot

A large truck with a large soda bottle logo on the side was driving by on the road. Inside was a teen boy with blonde hair and a blue hoodie in the driver's seat, and a girl with partially shaven brown hair next to him.

"Ok," the boy said smirking as he focused to their destination, "So just right when Wally was about to eat the last slice," the boy was saying to his friend, "he just threw everything up."

"Gross!" The girl exclaimed excitedly, moving back in her seat, "All over the place?"

"Yeah, there was just vomit everywhere. Heard the janitors spent all afternoon scraping the cheesy chunks off the floor."

"Aw, sick!"

"I know right?" The boy asked as he started to turn onto a road by a cliffside.

The 2 friends drove the truck further down the road, unaware of a large aircraft that had slowed down. Almost like it was hovering right over them…

"You know," the girl said, after taking a sip from her soda, "I bet you'd do the same thing if you were dared to eat 5 whole pies of pizza."

The guy scoffed. "You're on, dude."

Their conversation was suddenly interrupted by a large blast coming through the roof and the arrival of 2 kids from the roof.

One was a boy, with a large ushanka, a blue and white striped shirt and tan shorts, and orange winter gloves. He quickly wrapped a yoyo around steering wheel as another girl took down the driver. She was wearing a pink shirt, a purple skirt, matching white sneakers, and a brown snow beanie on her head. With one fluid motion, she pushed the teenagers together, away from the wheel.

"Alright, Lee!" The young girl held the teenager down, "Now let's turn this truck around."

"Cool," Lee replied and started to move the yoyo strings to turn the truck around.

Lee looked back at his friend with a smile until he saw one of their fugitives grabbing a phone from the glove box.

"Sonia", Lee signaled towards the hostage.

"Boss! Boss!" The teenager was frantic with his message. "We've being ambushed by the brats, and we got a full truck. We need backup! Like, right-"

The transmission was suddenly interrupted by a kick in the face by Sonia.

Sonya was about to give him another one until she was suddenly grabbed by the teenage girl in a boogie position.

"Aarrgh", Sonia mumbled under the grasp, her forehead getting crushed by the shaking fist. "Let..GO!"

"Ay consider yourself lucky", the teenager didn't budge. "I'm not wearing my spiked gloves today."

Sonia struggled for a bit more, as Lee tried to keep the truck in center. A task made a little harder as the older boy got out of the yoyo trap and flung to take the steering wheel back.

The truck started swerving around on the narrow road, the fight for control brewing in the front seats.

Eventually, after getting an arm loose from the tight grasp, Sonia reached into her holster and pulled out a large purple weapon. A weapon stocked with dispensers full of gumballs, chocolate, and other types of candies. It was a-

And a flurry of chocolate bars and snack cakes were shot around the front.

"Ah CRUD", the grip around Sonia was loosened as the older girl narrowly dodged a cream pie.

"Watch it", the older boy followed suit dodging a flung candy bar. Before his fight resumed though, he noticed the kind of candy bar it was. "Ooo! Fudge Fingers! My favorite!"

"BARTIE", the girl shouted at her partner, snacking away at the ammo.

"Oh right sorry", but that distraction was long enough for Lee to conk Bartie out with another yoyo.

The girl groaned in exasperation, before a candy bag broke the window next to her. Using the opportunity, she climbed out the window, towards the root of the truck.

"You take care of Bartie", Sonia turned back to Lee, gaining control again. "I'll take care of Virginia."

"Be careful," Lee said as Sonia started to follow up to the roof.

Lee watched out the window as Sonia disappeared from view, and loud footsteps clamored on the tin rooftop. It was a long gaze, watching his sector partner, trying to hear if she was alright. Unfortunately, it was long enough for Bartie to regain his composure, and grab Lee from the back. Lee started to struggle in and out of Bartie's reach, the 2 boys grabbing a hand each at the wheel. Each move swerved and turned the truck in janky directions in their struggle.

Up on the roof, Virginia and Sonia started to chase each other to the toppling of the truck on the road. Even with the limited space, they still held out for a few minutes between blasts, jumps, Virginia even swinging across the edge to dodge. However in the edge, an unexpected turn caused Virginia to start loosing her grip. With only one hand clinging on, Sonia clearly had the advantage. She pointed the S.U.G.A.H.-C.R.A.S.H. straight at Virginia but was suddenly knocked over, dropping her weapon.

Once the operative fell, the sound of large boots walking filled the air, getting closer and louder with each step. Coincidentally, the truck stopped turning and began to move smoothly back up the hill. Before Sonia could regain her composure, she was suddenly picked up by the arms by Virginia, recovered from the near fall.

Another, noticeably shorter teenage girl approached, wearing large black boots, matching jeans, and a white and green striped shirt covered by a leather jacket, except for a large cast covering one arm. Sonia soon was staring at a face. A freckled face covered by large triangle sunglasses and long waist-length mess of frizzy red hair.

"Boss," Virginia greeted her leader.

"Virginia," the redhead greeted back before directing her attention to the angry kid struggling in her arms.

"Nice to see you again, Sonia", she said with a smile.

Sonia glared. "Likewise, Fanny."

"It's the Fan," the redhead replied annoyed. Sonya just kept glaring.

"Hey, y-you better be careful," the kid started to say, trying to stay calm despite her nervousness, "O-or you're gonna have to go up against me and my backup."

"You mean THIS backup?" Fanny then held up Lee, now wrapped up in his own yoyos. Sonia gulped nervously, before she was tossed down beside her tied-up squirming friend. Virginia held the S.U.G.A.H.-C.R.A.S.H. to face the 2 members of Sector W.

"Now imagine this." Fanny started to walk around her captured operatives, like a vulture around roadkill. "Here I am in my house on a perfect Friday afternoon. Just came back from a long school week, looking forward to getting to this great party as a smooth start to my weekend." After one lap, Fanny stopped to face Sonya, and kneeled down to her eye level on the ground. "And then suddenly", Fanny's voice started to get angrier with every word. "I get a distress call from 2 of my ninjas on their way to this important delivery on how they're being ambushed by a bunch of pint-sized snot-filled brats." By the time she finished, her and Sonia's noses were practically touching.

She then said in an almost chilling quiet voice. "So what do you think you're doing, trying to mess with my friends' delivery?"

"Because your friends broke into our base and took it from us!" The 2 girls turned their heads to see Lee, who had managed to finally break out of his yoyo trap.

Fanny turned her head up to face Virginia, with a questioning look.

"What?" Virginia shrugged her arms up in defense. "We needed the soda, and I couldn't use any of my money. You know I'm trying to save up for a car."

"Yeah," Fanny turned around to see Bartie joining them on the roof, munching away on the chocolate bar. "Besides, it wasn't that hard to break in. The guards were fighting over a quarter", he continued.

Fanny then gave the teenaged boy a very annoyed look as the truck started to slow down.

"Bartie?", she began to ask through seething teeth. "Who's driving?"

The truck stopped.

"Aw, crud."

The 5 of them suddenly looked to the front of the truck as it started to curve off-road towards the grass and accelerate down the hill towards the water below the road.

Fanny scrambled to get to the window of the front as the truck slowly started to go down. She got inside and used her good arm to turn the steering wheel and slammed one of her large boots on the brake. As she tried to stop, she could Bartie and Virginia screaming outside and the sound of pounding on the hood. The truck slowly started to slow down as the end of the road got closer and closer. But right as the edge left view, the truck finally stopped, teetering on the edge of the hill and the water.

She then looked outside to see 2 teenagers, but Numbuhs 83 and 84 had vanished. A matter that would have to wait til later. She started to get off as the truck started to fall from the hill, when some rocks flew into the seat from the window. Scattering around the floor, and a few hitting Fanny, she shrugged it off, her eyes going down to the floor.

Those eyes also went wide, as she realized those rocks were NOT rocks. Rolling on the floor, sat around a dozen or so small mustard-filled M.A.R.B.L.E.s

There was The Fan, hanging on out the window with one arm, the truck slowly making its way to a watery grave, and M.A.R.B.L.E.s just about to go off. All the odds looked against her, and then, suddenly-

"KUKI! Get your hamster away from my sandwich!"

The about echoed through the cafeteria at McClintock High. Despite how loud it was, many of the students didn't notice. They just continued their food and conversations, used to ourbursts like this.

Near the middle of the cafeteria sat 6 teenagers at a long table.

First was Wallabee Beetles, in an orange sleeveless hoodie and a long white shirt and blue jeans and a red hat, still short as ever, reading a comic book.

Across from him was Hoagie Gilligan, wearing a brown cap, goggles, a buttoned blue shirt, and brown jeans, right now working on what appeared to be a small model plane with blueprints.

Next to Wally sat Kuki Sanban, wearing a large dark purple hoodie and black skinny jeans, who was feeding a couple of hamsters that she had brought over, comforting the panicked one who got a little too close to someone's sandwich.

Next to Kuki was Abby Lincoln, in a red backwards cap, a blue and white shirt and black shorts, and a pair of sunglasses resting carefully at the top of her head, reading the wrapper to a piece of gum she had just popped into her mouth.

Across from Abby was Rachel T McKenzie, wearing her signature tiger striped sweater and gray pants with light blue glasses. Right now, she was in the middle of writing while dodging the flailing arms of her best friend next to her.

And, last but not least, in between Rachel and Hoagie, sat a loud redhead, respected leader of the Teen Ninjas, The Fan. AKA, Fanny Fulbright.

With her interruption was resolved, Fanny quickly resumed her story for the table.

"Anyway, so there I was, hanging on for dear life, M.A.R.B.L.E.s around 3 seconds away from exploding. All the odds seem against me. Until, suddenly, I-"

Fanny suddenly stopped as her gaze fell upon her friends. All of them had continued on with their activities, clearly not listening to her story. Noticing the sudden silence, the 5 looked up at the shortest member of the table.

"...Did I mention that my arm was broken?" Fanny asked while pointing at her left arm.

"Yes", Wally answered. "You mention it every time you tell us this story."

Abby nodded in agreement. "Heck, in this one telling, you've told us 4 different times."

"Because it's a very important detail to remember."

"I think it's pretty interesting", Rachel commented in-between pencil strokes, "Because the last time you told us this story you said you broke your right arm."

"It doesn't which arm it was! The point is it was broken!" Fanny shouted in frustration, her eyes seething over her large sunglasses, before calming down to continue. "So anyway, all the odds were against me. Until I jumped down", she continued while standing up on her seat, "And unhooked the front of the truck, sending the front flying off into water below, all the M.A.R.B.L.E.s going off by the cliffs and grass in a gigantic-"

Suddenly, a large SPLAT was heard in the cafeteria, as people turned their heads to the front.

"Exactly!" Fanny said, too hyped up in her own story to really pay attention. "It sounded JUST like that! Luckily, Bartie, Virginia, and I were still close enough to our destination, and get help to take in the cargo. And THAT," she concluded, sitting back down proudly. "Is how I single handedly saved the entire truckload of soda used for the celebration of the state championship."

Fanny was then met with the sound of laughter erupting from the entire cafeteria.

"What?" She then looked at her friends, Abby and Kuki were stunned in silence, Wally was laughing his butt off, and Hoagie looked like he wasn't far behind him.

"Quit laughing! It's not supposed to be a funny story! It's a retelling of an epic moment of action!" But it didn't stop anyone in the cafeteria Fanny was getting furious; how dare THEY laugh at HER, The FAN. Their unquestioned super cool leader. Do they even KNOW how HARD she had to work to get SO many stories to graciously tell them?!

Fanny's humble inner rant was interrupted by a poke on her shoulder. She turned around to see her childhood friend looking at her through large blue specs.

"Fan?" Rachel started to calm her friend down, and pointing towards the front of the cafeteria. "They're laughing at him."

Fanny looked to the direction Rachel was pointing, seeing the true cause of the hysterics.

Near the front of the cafeteria was a stand filled with plastic utensils and condiments, perfect for students with fresh food on their trays. By the ketchup dispensers, stood a rather tall acne ridden boy with black hair wearing a green hoodie, a white shirt, brown jeans, and a light pink scarf. Although, it would be hard to tell what he was wearing right now, since the boy was covered in a soaking splattered mess of ketchup.

"Ah," Fanny was relieved at the observation, they weren't laughing at her after all. "Well, it is a little funny," she chuckled.

Over the laughter, Bartie's loud voice rang out from the other side of the cafeteria, "Bet'cha got enough ketchup now, huh Dork-lovsky?"

"Yes, I guess so," the boy awkwardly chuckled as he started to wipe ketchup off onto his tray. "And it's Drilovsky."

Fanny looked over a the boy as he started to walk over to a lone table near the trashcans, the bottom of his Yipper boots lighting up a different color with each step he took. As he passed by their table, still dripping with ketchup, Fanny turned back to face her friends, starting to settle down from the laughter.

"Who is that guy?," she asked. This question garnered a stunned silence from the other 5 for a moment.

"Are you SERIOUS?!" Wally was the first to break the silence. "You really don't know Dork-lovsky?"

"No, don't think so." Fanny started to scratch her head, thinking as she took a bite out of her sandwich.

Rachel spoke up to try and jog her friend's memory of the guy. "You know him, Fan. Drilovsky?"

"Ehh...no…"

"Patton Drilovsky?"

"No, not ringing any bells...," Fanny said in between a mouthful of chips.

"He sits right behind you in algebra?"

"…. Algebra…"

"I got this", Wally groaned and took over. "He's that moron who tripped us up when the KND was nabbing our pizza stash!"

"OH!" Fanny suddenly shouted in shock. "Yeah! He's THAT klutz! Bumped the greatest ninja squad straight to concussions!"

"And he just HANDED the pizza to those grubby kids", Wally ranted on. "Literally just GAVE it to them like it was NOTHING!"

Fanny groaned in frustration, her memory officially jogged. "Oh my gosh, The Steve was SO mad when he heard about that. Said that was one of the biggest Ninja recruit failures he ever had."

"I don't blame him", Kuki agreed. "It took us months to refill all of that."

Hoagie sighed. "So many parties STARVED of pizza. It was a travesty."

Abby glared over at Hoagie with a raised eyebrow.

"What? It WAS", Hoagie defended himself.

Fanny scoffed. "Yeah. A travesty."

She then turned back to the boy to find him rubbing french fries on his still stained clothes, completely ignoring the large ketchup glob that was on his tray, before eating them.

"This dude is like, HOPELESS!"

The Steve, the Teen Leader, threw the reports up in the air around his hangout, exasperated.

"He can't do ANYTHING", The Steve went on, his eyes narrowed under his triangular shades. "I send him to fight; he refuses to fight. I send him to global scan; he shuts down the whole database. Now I send him to inventory and he just gives it all away!

Sitting in a beanbag watching him, at a end of 13, was a red haired girl watching him talk.

"Maybe you could put him as a janitor, The Steve sir", she chimed in. "Keep him at the hangout at all times and we don't have to clean."

"I tried Fan", The Steve groaned. "Why do you think Cree's foot is in a cast now?!"

"Oh", Fanny looked to the ground awkwardly. "Well there's gotta be SOME way for him to fit in. You said ANY teenager can be a Ninja."

"Yeah. Every teenager except HIM", The Steve rolled his eyes, and pulled out a cellphone, giving a text out.

The Steve plopped down into his seat, and sighed. He reached over to his orange soda on his desk. "Fan?"

"Yes", Fanny answered.

"I'm gonna be honest, my time is like, draining", The Steve said in between sips. "I got college coming up, and I need somebody to pass on my mad skills and intelligentosity to. And you are like, def in the runnings for that title."

Fanny's eyes went wide at the thought. Her, a leader of teens worldwide. "R-Really?"

"REALLY really", The Steve nodded. "You've got moves almost as good as me little dude. Just starting high school, and a bark and a big bite. You've got spunk."

"Oh….wow", Fanny was speechless at the praise.

"This is gonna be my last year. My swan song as Leader before I gotta step down and let the next act play the band, ya know", The Steve continued on. "I want you to be by my side for it, see the ropes first hand of EVERYTHING I do."

Fanny sat there silent for a moment, before realizing The Steve was done and waiting for an answer. "Oh! Ok! Yes! Yes I'll do it!"

"Awesome dude", The Steve shot her a finger gun. "Well let THIS be the first one-on-one lesson you get."

He picked up one of the papers of Patton's file from the ground. "Don't hang onto dead weight. Some teens just want to live their regular high school years, and that's cool. And other times, teens like THIS-"

And there went the file papers in the trash.

"Are COMPLETELY untrainable."

"... Completely untrainable", Fanny muttered to herself, her view still on Patton.

"Huh?" Fanny's mind was brought back to the present by the sound of Abby's voice.

"Oh, nothing." Fanny said and turned back to her friends. She's been thinking about that oddball for way too long. It was time for a change of subject…

Like maybe another story!

"SO! Did I tell you what happened during the party with the soda and the pool?"

"Yes." Hoagie answered exasperatedly. "Many times."

"She did?" Kuki asked while scratching a hamster behind the ears. "I don't remember that one."

"Kuki, no-," Abby started.

"Ok then!" Too late. And with that, another story started to be retold, much to the table's dismay.

"So the 3 of us showed up to the party with the truck, loud music, bunch of dancing and stuff…"

Students poured outside as the final bell rang, ending another day at McClintock High. Among those, were Hoagie, Abby, Wally, Kuki, Fanny and Rachel.

"Finally. Abby thought that test was never gonna end." Abby said as the group made their way down the school entryway.

"Yeah, tell me about it." Rachel chimed in as they now walked on the sidewalk. "I feel like half my brain just exploded."

"No kidding," Hoagie included. "Anyways, now that that's over with, you guys wanna go out to get some pizza?"

"Can't," Kuki said. "I have to go to work", she clasped a nametag with paws onto her hoodie. "The vet hospital just got this new litter of cute little puppies in."

"Ok", Hoagie shrugged. "Anyone else?"

"Sure", Rachel agreed.

"Definitely, baby", and Abby second that.

"Yeah!" Wally exclaimed, jumping in the air. "Let's go," he started running off towards the restaurant, but was grabbed by the hoodie by the group's redhead.

"Not today, Wally." Fanny said before directing her attention to Hoagie. "Love to Hoagie, but we've got work to do."

"Work?!"

"Don't you remember? We've got a pep rally tomorrow to prepare for." She then stared at him very sternly. "And I am NOT about to let those kids attack it like they did last time." Fanny dragged Wally's face closer to hers so he could see her stern eyes above her sunglasses. "You DO remember that, don't you?"

"Yeah," Wally sighed before muttering, "You don't make it that easy to forget."

"Come on, we better get going." Fanny released Wally from her grip and turned back to the rest of the group. "Sorry guys, maybe we can do pizza together tomorrow. Good luck with the puppies, Kuki," she said before the 2 left in the opposite direction to the nearest drugstore.

"Thanks Fanny."

"It's THE FAN!"

"Sorry, The Fan. See you tomorrow guys." Kuki said cheerfully before heading off across the street to the vets.

"Sure, see ya."

"Bye."

The 3 remaining teens then looked at each other, kind of forlorn.

"It's still so weird to see how everybody's changed", Rachel commented.

"I know", Hoagie chimed in. "But at least we're the same."

"Yeah, YOU'RE definitely the same", Rachel rolled her eyes. "Because Numbuh 2 TOTALLY would've bailed from his decommissioning."

"Well he isn't OFFICIALLY a Teen Ninja, so", Hoagie shrugged.

"But you still make their weapons."

"That's different, I get PAID to", Hoagie defended himself. "And I help some kids too, so I'm not playing favorites, ok? Right Abby."

The 2 looked over at Abby, looking down.

"Abby?"

Rachel and Hoagie looked over at their friend. Abby blinked up at them out of her trance, holding a pair of circular sunglasses. "Sorry baby, what?"

Hoagie and Rachel then looked at the sunglasses alongside Abby sadly. Rachel sighed. "Everybody's just really changed, haven't they?"

Abby sighed, looking at the 2 remaining teens. "Yeah. They sure have."

After a moment, Abby then carefully placed the sunglasses back on her hat, resting comfortably at the brim. "Come on, you guys." She said, trying to lighten the mood. "Let's go get some of that pizza you mentioned, Hoags."

"Yeah," Hoagie agreed, half-smiling, come on. The 3 remaining friends then headed off to the pizzeria, sad, but happy to at least have each other.

I might have a few too many acronyms for this. But it's so much fun XD
