Hello everyone. I do not own Danny Phantom or Glitch Techs. They are owned by Butch Hartman + Nickelodeon and Netflix respectively.

Enjoy the story.

Chapter Prologue - {Cut Scene}

2 Days Prior

The doors creaked as a white haired boy wearing light blue and black armor with glowing blue highlights pushed them open.

In the center expanse of the room stood an imposing figure of a cyborg-grim reaper standing 10 ft tall and wielding an even larger scythe, blade continuing to run down the length of its pole- un-bothering to the reaper-borg.

Getting into character and with an easy challenging grin Danny pointed his sword at his opponent, hand on the sci-fi looking gun in its holster on his hip.

"You're rain of terror ends here Grim Chaos! For too long has your control made the citizens tremble!"

"Mwahaha, do you truly believe you'll be able to defeat me with such poor weaponry! Your sacrifice of coin to my citizens all led back to my pouches!"

"Wailing Banshees! Then I'll just have to get those coins from your treasury and rebuild after I defeat you!"

"Bring it on Hero!" Grim Chaos spat as they got themselves in a ready position. Despite their earlier claims of Danny's equipment being subpar they would take this seriously as they knew the boy would not be an easy opponent - having gotten this far past their minions.

And so a clash for the ages began!

*Swish* The large scythe swung, bisecting the very air and all resistance in a wide deadly area of effect attack.

*Jump**Pew**Blink* The armor wearing boy closed in on the semi-cloaked character by jumping above the technique and dodging the laser blast sent their way at the precise last moment by using a short teleportation ability to move where it already passed.

A hail of precise tracking soul-seeking spirit missiles targeted him. Weaving through most of shots he deflected others, still though many continued to chasse him.

Using a trick he picked up fighting Skulker Danny rushed the Grim Chaos before using the short ranged teleportation {Blink} again. Ending up on the other side of the reaper-borg.

But this would not be such an easy fight. Danny would realize as his opponent leaped into the air themselves and the couple dozen remaining missiles hit him dead on.

He was knocked back into the wall at the end of the corridor, right underneath the giant round window.

He felt his life chip away from that attack, probably around half of it. Grim Chaos was right of course about his armor, he could have used his coins to buy some better equipment but instead he spent it improving his karma and reputation by helping the suffering - not that, that meant much when his coins were apparently finding their way back to the deadly tyrant.

But it was too late to grit his teeth about that now. Instead he would have to overcome their differences with Skills and planning.

*Boom* A shockwave sounded and pushed Danny to bang his head against the wall again as Grim Chaos landed from their jump. They definitely infused something in that jump.

"Guah." Danny coughed up blood. That wasn't good. But instead of anguish a more fiery look took to their features, eyes and grin matching.

Danny got up and ran forward, his sword cackled in electricity, empowering it with the weakness of the cyborg half of the Grim-borg. Then he launched his sword forward, aim true, and piercing the chassis of metal on their left side.

"Ahhhhhhahahahaahaha. What? You thought you could short-circuit me with that puny attack? That was your last mistake. For I absorb this energy and empower myself further!"

"What?! Oh no." Thinking fast Danny summoned a second sword from his pocket space and used it like a lightning rod for the blast of lightning shot at him in turn. Dodging the remaining meanwhile.

Taking out his previously holster laser blaster of his own - the highest quality equipment he owns - he took practiced shots at Grim Chaos no matter how they tried to dodge until it began to run out of charge ammunition.

Using electricity to coat the blaster instead charged it and allowed him to continue his onslaught.

Firing back through the blaster fire was the Grim-borg using both slower blackened shadow skulls of instant death and fast machine gun blaster fire of their own, an attack from each half.

Waiting for this deadly-combo moment that would be most draining, Danny took out his SHIELD OF FAITH legendary equipment that would be strengthened by all Dark Arts hitting it to power through the heavy fire. But while doing so, under the cover of the shield, he supercharged his Blaster for his own Finishing shot that would make the weapon unusable after.

Once close enough they used the last {Blink} they could before cooldown and appeared under Grim Chaos, who's weaponry still fired upon his Shield - now with no one behind.

Grim Chaos noticed fast but not fast enough. Firing upwards a massive light cleaved through the Cyborg Grim-Reaper hybrid and ended their reign of terror.

"VICTORY - GHOST BOY OF DOOM"

"Yes! Wooh! Yuh huh yuh huh! 10 Consecutive victories for yours truly." Danny took off his VR headset. Fenton-made of course, but still completely legal for gameplay. Especially since Sam had her own money bought top of the line set.

"Woah Man. Didn't think I'd ever see the day where you actually get better at games than Sam. How'd you do it. I know you said Clockwork granted you two weeks of freedom from dealing with Ghosts coming through the portals - but can you really get so much better at so many games in just two weeks?" Who had been watching both sides of the fight from his own screen popcorn in hand.

"That's it Tuck. I've been so stressed since those Ghosts kept coming through, and I'd finally had the chance to unwind. I'll never be able to thank Clockwork enough for all this. But it's not like just because the Ghosts are gone, that everything I've picked up and learned has been too."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, after finally catching up on some sleep for once, I've felt more refreshed than I have in maybe over a year. And ever since my two forms have seamlessly blended after that awful Ghost Puberty, my body's just been waiting for that recharge. I managed to stay actively awake with no problems for two days at a time. With a really clear mind for once. So that helped. And since I was unwinding anyways, I thought why not give myself a goal, and lo and behold getting better at games than Sam seemed like a fun one. The Ghost fighting and clarity must have seriously helped my reflexes since I could seriously button mash like I was in slow motion or something. And taking a wire out of Technus' chords, what better way to get used to games, than inside them! Let me tell ya man, it has been an awesome two weeks. I even managed to find the time to help my parents out in the lab, getting the preemptive strike on all the Ghost Tech before they could get the first strike on me for once!"

"Nice Man. As your friend I should say I'm proud of you, but also as your friend I have to complain: no fair!"

"Hahaha. I can probably bring you into a game someday too Tuck, if you want. Don't know what it would do to a normal human though."

Tucker looked hopeful and dreamy at the idea at first, until Danny mentioned not knowing what it would do to a human, then he shivered and shook his head no. "No thanks Dude. Tempting as it is, and as much as I like technology. I like my squishy bits as squishy bits. And my life as living, thank you very much."

"If you two dorks are done over there, how about a Team-MPRPG this time?"

""Sure thing Sam!""

"Wait. Thinking back on it, how did you absorb the lightning? That should have been that character's weakness."

"One of two weaknesses Danny, one of two. But that's easy. I just bought the Lightning Absorption Skill. It only helped negate the weakness a little, but more importantly it gave me a power-up if anyone tried to exploit it."

"Huh. Smart."

Present Day

Danny really should have expected this. His two week grace period had come to an end. And with said grace period having been thanks to Clockwork of all Ghosts, who's not supposed to interfere so much, he really should have suspected something big would be happening at the end of these two weeks.

That time was probably intended for him to get some actual legitimate training done in, but instead of grinding his real life abilities he was grinding game block stats. Maybe then he could have taken care of this faster and less exhaustedly. Maybe then he wouldn't be on the run. Well anymore than he usually was from certain people anyways.

For the record, Danny blames Technus and Fright Knight, and maybe Johnny Thirteen was around somewhere to explain his luck - or it could just be plain ol' Fenton Luck (Trademarked). But to be fair, it probably was Technus and Fright Knight's fault. And Boxy. Somehow. And that new annoying enemy that he couldn't just suck into a thermos. Why? Because they were a living human. Well a Dark Mage or something - they seemed to have powers reflected in controlling and empowering weakened Ghosts.

Point is, since Technus learned he could take control of the Thermos, all Danny could do was put up a fight until the two of them were "weakened" alright, then that black robed gaudy looking guy swoops in like a vulture and puts some kind of Magic chains on the two Ghosts. Just decided to attack at the same time, didn't even take turns.

Now Danny was dealing with the consequences of the Dark Mage who seemed to have fused the two ghosts' main powers. Monsters started coming out of every screen in Amity Park.

Danny spent an entire week straight fighting nonstop. Because of course it was a rainy day starting the march break when all this happened, so a lot of people had their screens on, either watching or playing something on a screen.

Danny swore if he had to fight another digitalized ghost monster again he was going to break Technus' glasses, rip out his hair, and trap fright knight's sword - stuck in a pumpkin - in un-melting ice. He already knocked the "dark mage" guy out early on. He didn't much care that he gave the guy a bloody nose. It was still being merciful compared to what he deserved.

Well one long week later, and Danny finds guns aimed at him in his own home. Oh. Right. Phantom form. Plus ultimate exhaustion.

'Think Fenton Think.' "Uhhhhhh..." Was all that came out. So much for that single braincell - looks like it took a coma nap.

Then they shot at him. He couldn't dodge. Way too tired, way too out of it.

He woke up on a dissection table in the lab. As Fenton. Looks like he wasn't going to be getting out of this one.

He panicked. The rest was not exactly peaceful, but it was still more than he's gotten most of the week and he was next to the Portal technically, so he managed to absorb and generate enough ectoplasm within himself to do what he did next.

Escape.

His powers reacted. Violently. To his emotions and panic. Telekinesis turned the lab into a danger tornado, and the phase-proof cuffs holding into crumpled wires. He still had enough state of mind to put a shield over the Doctors Fenton before making his escape through the storm.

Flying through the Ghost Portal, Danny quickly found himself ramming headfirst into a glitchy natural portal that felt all kinds of wrong - even within the Infinite Realms.

He felt extremely staticky, and passed out.

Phil's eyes widened at the alerts he was receiving. First thing he knew is he felt a static charge wash over the air and his hairs stand on end right before the alerts sounded. There were many of them. Too many.

It was almost as if every active Hinobi tech device that was turned on at the moment within the nearby residential districts had Glitched at the same time. There were even a couple of "Blank" readings - rare glitches that occurred while the device was turned off. They would take the form of whatever Glitch they next encountered.

It was both lucky and unlucky that this happened late at night on a weekday.

Lucky because otherwise there would likely be a lot more devices turned on and thus more Glitches to deal with.

Lucky because with most people asleep that was a lot less witnesses they'd have to make sure didn't remember anything.

Unlucky because this happened at all.

And most importantly, Unlucky because of all the sleep all personnel were going to have to miss and overtime they'd have to work to catch all the rogue Glitches.

He'd have to give the Tech Support some overtime pay, as well as throwing in an EXP Boost event to help motivate them throughout the night.

All personnel were called in and as expected, were not happy having to work overtime dealing with the rampaging sudden surge of Glitches.

And as expected, were indeed more motivated with the EXP Boost event excuse.

Phil gave a deep world weary sigh. Even he would have to get out there and deal with the Glitches. This was an all hands on deck situation, but he's just not as spry as he used to be - this was going to be a long night.

Plus he still had to manage some details about the Hinobi Game tournament to begin soon.

He had BITT brew him some hot coffee while he went to put on his gear.

There'd probably be some complimentary desserts and coffee tomorrow for the Tech Support after rounding up the rogue Glitches too.

"You're coffee has been brewed Phil."

"Thanks BITT." Phil grabbed the coffee from the floating bot after suiting up and took a sip.

"Gah. Hot! WAY TOO HOT BITT!"

"You did request 'Hot Coffee' Sir."

"Not this hot! Gah. Well I'm awake now that's for sure."

"BITT cool down this coffee until it's at my regular temperature."

"Will do."

Mitch Williams was yawning as he chased yet another Rat Glitch. He'd have to find a destroy that nest soon or these Rats would just keep spawning. And it was NOT his style to be grinding with such low EXP gains.

The Rat Glitches came from a maze game where more rats would spawn the longer it took to find the nest. The more rats there were the more dangerous they became to the player searching for said nest.

He just needs to find it and set it on fire. Easy peasy. Now if only he could find the *squeaking* thing.

Using Jet Boots to fly above the buildings he tried getting a bird's eye view of the mess below.

Doing a wide area scan of the area the revealed yet more Gitch signals running around hindering from locating the specific one he was searching for.

Then in a very Mitch Williams fashion he changed his Hinobi Gauntlet into a Machine Gun power up decided to "Rule of Cool" the remaining Glitches in his area whether or not there were any witnesses (not that any would remember if there were).

After a bunch of unnecessary backflip on rooftops targeting each of the Glitches around him with great precision he blew non-existent smoke from his gauntlet leaving the injured glitches pixelating behind him.

"You are all so far beneath my notice. But lucky for you all, you get to be caught by The Mitch Williams."

Capturing the injured Glitches with his Gauntlet's Plixle transfer and trap function.

"I am so going to win that Tournament soon."

"Now" Turning to the Rat's Nest he finally found, "Your experience points re gonna buy me some new products." He says as he swoops back his hair. "Thanks." A vicious confident grin in place.

Zahra Rashid was currently rounding up Glitches on her own. The team having separated for this mission. Which wasn't easy on her considering most of her set-up was geared towards Support rather than direct combat - but that didn't mean she had no experience or ways to do so.

She was also, simultaneously, trying to triangulate the center of this massive Glitch Spawn.

They found a house that may have been the center of it, the how though still being a mystery.

She scanned the household for Glitches but all she could find was a stunned family looking they had bluescreened and a boy passed out on the ground. Probably an adopted kid based on the fact he didn't look like the family.

She checked his pulse to make sure he was still alive. He groaned at the touch instead. So yeah, alive.

Well if a Glitch did appear here, then it looks like it was most likely the stunning type and already got away.

Once again scanning just to be sure, and finding only a bunch of glitch signatures outside the house. But the static field here was so strong that even her Gauntlet looked like it may start to Glitch.

She wiped the memories of the family and moved on. Calling in her report,

"Hey Phil." Phil was seen through the screen blasting at something offscreen.

"Is now really a good time for this Zahra?"

"Just wanted to report I found the house at the center. The static field was intense enough to cause my gauntlet to almost start glitching out too. The family was blue-screened so we may be dealing with a Stun-type Glitch somewhere out here."

"Great, just great. Okay, you should know what to do. Find the Glitch, stay as out of sight of it as you can while dealing with it."

She would continue her search while also dealing with the Glitches on route of her patrol.

She and the rest of the Tech Supports did indeed feel exhausted the next day, and praised that it was a relatively slow day at work. Well at least they racked up a lot of experience points each, and got donuts for their efforts. And extra pay of course.

They never did find a Stun-type Glitch but found no other Glitch signatures out of the ordinary amount - so they figured perhaps the family was actually stunned by their reality shattering thanks to something coming out of their tv than by a Glitch's ability. That did happen from time to time.

They would probably be having an existential crisis right about now if it weren't for the memory erasing she performed.

Another customer came in which Zahra just knew would be exhausting. "Aughhhh."

She groaned and face planted in her mind's eye while providing her best (fakest) customer service smile.

"Hi there. How may I help you?"

AN: Well thanks for reading everyone. I just found and binged this show (as well as Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts - so expect something for that next, maybe, hopefully). And I have to say. HOW. Have I not watched these shows before!? These were soooo awesome! I absolutely loved them both. They absolutely belong in the hall of fame for Golden Cartoons - and both are so completely hidden gems with such small (comparative) fanbases. Like seriously?! These shows deserve so much better. I really hope for a season 3 of Glitch Techs now. Anyways, I'm actually writing this fanfiction for three reasons: 1. because I want to - especially to ship Danny and Miko; 2. So that more people may hear about this amazing show; and 3. Because it is criminal that there are no other fanfictions in this category, neither on FFnet or Ao3.

On a similar note: I've posted a Danny Phantom x Kipo and The Age of Wonderbeast story as well. However, that one is rated M for now. Not because of Lemons but because I removed/changed a little bit of the cartoon logic that doesn't hold up (namely, her clothes surviving her larger transformations) - that said it's not like I'm planning to go into real detail about that, just an arc and scene or two regarding that matter (embarrassment, comfort, and shopping mostly).

Anyways, THEORY/HEADCANON Time! Natural Portals. Random manifestations of Space-Time actualized by Ectoplasm, most of the time, right? Well what if it's one step further. What if there are factors that can reduce that "randomness". I believe that Danny (especially since I believe he has potential in Space powers) can subconsciously influence where/when a Portal would take him. Whether that be by unconscious thoughts, experience, or even meta-/cosmic-biology, or a factor of all of the above.

Games and Monsters from screens has been on his mind for almost three weeks now, especially the last week of tireless pursuit. Thus that would shift the portal into the paradigm of game-like or simulated Universes or the alike. Danny wants to "Escape" desperately. That coordinates the portal away from his home dimension or anywhere too close to it. And his Biology's theoretical connection with Space-Time and the favor of Fate (Clockwork) makes the When and Where more precise to when important events in the location he's going to and where those involved with said events reside. AKA the start of the plot.

Just some more technical theories to add to the probability of what was almost impossibility by sheer coincidence. It is completely unimportant to the story, but I felt like sharing this theory and explanation for any of those who wanted to hear it. Feel free to deny it, or enter your own reasons for why he goes there yourselves if you'd like.

Now, about that game in the first half of the chapter.

I originally didn't have it, but the chapter felt way too empty and short without it so I'm glad to have added it.

It's something of my own making so unfortunately it doesn't exist (yet). But it has Sci-Fi and Fantasy elements as well as classes, races, skills, equipment, and even management mechanics.

There are two sides, The Heroes and The Bosses. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

A Boss manages a territory which they can collect from in various ways, to obtain a variety of abilities and rewards. They can select from more monstrous races, are given a head-start, and are generally OP. They also can design their Lair and set up minions and/or traps.

The Heroes advance through adventures and quests mainly, earning money the hard way to buy skills and equipment so that they can challenge harsher adversaries and obtain better rewards all in the goal of defeating and overthrowing A Boss.

In Two Player Mode - which they were playing - each player has their own screen and system to build up their character on in preparation for their final confrontation.

The Boss can gain power through their territory and as much suffering as they can inflict, while The Hero can gain the chance at better rewards and secret Skills by "increasing their Karma", helping the citizens in one way or another. Money is one way, but that can also unintentionally help the Boss too.

Fun Note: While Danny played as the Hero in this match, he played as the Boss in a previous one, choosing the Ghost Race and only winning by phasing through and dodging the magics he was weak to with insane timing and reaction speed.

Additional note: The Rat Nest game was also made up, as far as I know it doesn't actually exist (yet).
