Now. Before you ask as to why I did this, I give it Straight. I have no clue. But enjoy.

Within the location, a long hall of chambers can be seen, seemly stretching onward for miles, multiple of them were either empty or closed. With a single occupant inside. And in one of them, began to power up. With a yellow light began to light up inside.
[Chambers Door Opening Sequence]
The door chambers then slowly to began to open up, inside lay a occupant who appeared to be sleeping upright, with a multiple amount of wires connected on its back. With one tube that stands out from the rest, connected directly with its back, seemingly going through the armor.
The occupant was completely covered in all set of clothing or armor, not letting a single shed of skin to be shown.
The lower body was wearing black boots and with black polyester pants with a empty baton holster on it's right side and the left side held two empty grenade pouches.
Secondly, it's upper body was immediately seen to be covered with a some form of a tactical ballistic vest with pouches and a gun holder that were empty. Alongside it's shirt was in blackish-grayish scheme, as identical to a suit. It's hands were covered by a thick scheme of black gloves.
It's head was covered with a black Tactical Ballistic helmet, it's nose and mouth was covered by a grayish Ballistic face mask. But the a singular eyepiece on its left eye can be visible as it is attached with it covering its other eye.
As the chamber doors fully opened, the figure inside remained dormant as ever. Non operational as it remained deactivated.

As it said that, the eyepiece began to flicker slightly, and with it, it's legs began to move just lightly enough.

It was then soon followed with it's left hand began to twitch slightly that was followed up with it's right hand, then both it's arms began to move ever so slightly, as the fingers began to fall flat from its former balled status.

It was then the tube attached to its back began to shut off as a distant sound began as it shut off. Then the other small wires attached across its body began to come off at the same time.

Then it's eyepiece began to glow brightly as the yellow began to glow out from the eye piece. As a rhythm began as its eyepiece as it changed to different shades of yellow before stopping completely.

It was that line that he had awaken once more from its dormant state. MK1995 was now completely active as he visual come into place.
The Soldat was in place for a good minute, just processing itself after being reawakened. He then slowly stepped out of the chamber and into the endless wall of chambers. After a few moments of being out of he's chamber, a radio clicked in he's earpiece began. He put all he's attention to a male voice, as it began to speak.
["Soldat MK1995. Assigned to Staging Ground, Echo Squad. Designated Number 1-5. Armory Accessory Advised in floor 1-C. 20 Minutes before startup."]
And with that the male voice faded away as the Soldat took it to digest the new orders. He then began to make its way towards the end of the hall. Seeking to its new orders.
He caught up with a steel door, with the authorization code on the side. The Soldat then entered in the code. When he was finished, a singular beep was heard from the machine.
['Activation Code Authorized']
And with that, the door open all the way. The Soldat then got out of the Chamber Hall and onto another hall. He looked at a sign and it said 1-B With every room memorized on the MK's head, he headed towards floor 1-C.
He went through another metal door and he was greeted with floor 1-C and a doorway towards the armory which were guarded by two guards. He made he's way toward the armory, one of the guards noticed. The Soldat saw how quick the guard stiffened and he's neutral expression changed quickly to a grave look, the guard aside him noticed rather quickly as well and followed suit.
As he approached them fully, the two in complete unison saluted him. To which in respect, he stood and saluted them back, the two then dropped their salute and one them turned back looking into the panel and pressed a single button. The door to the armory then opened and the two guards stepped aside for the Soldat to enter inside.
As the Soldat entered the armory, the steel door behind him then closed. The Soldat observed the entire room as each weapon was held in different manners. Some were simply laid down on tables or some were held on the wall. Other equipment was also visible, such as Rocket Launchers, Grenades, Stun Bombs, and others. An endless selection of guns that he could use.
But he already had its set in mind, the set that never failed him after all this time.

Location: Staging Ground 8
["Soldat 1-5 has arrived"] Said a automated response from one of the speakers as Soldat MK1995 entered the Staging Ground with he's MK16 in hand.
In the ground, he saw five other Soldats in the area, while most of them all appeared the same, there were just subtitle differences between them, wether I'd be the weapons they wield, the gadgets they acquired, two eyepieces they have, or the different armor they wear. They were all the same Soldat class.
Except for Soldat 1-1. Which stood out the most from the rest of the Soldat's. He had a visor that was attached to its two separate eyepieces and had a star symbol attached both in its helmet and shoulder. He was the squad leader.
Soldat Squad leaders, to MK1995, were still fairly new to him, as this would mark the first time having to do a mission under one's command. He only had acknowledgment of the Squad leaders in the last 7 activations.
But he didn't have any form of personal bias against the Squad Leaders, as he was a soldier, and as a true standard of a soldier, It's task is to follow orders and commit to it until the mission is complete, no matter the cost.
As the coming Soldat arrived with its squad, the five Soldats saluted to the Soldat Squad Leader whom he also saluted towards them back. Then the five Soldats stood in formation as the Squad Leader was there standing with he's hand on it's earpiece, most likely receiving orders from a higher up.
The Soldat leader then put he's hand down from he's earpiece and then looked at them. And spoke. ["Mission Report, Tango 1 and Tango 2 were tracked down by the 117th Military Division, They were able to track them down in one of moons in Planet T-638"] A image of the planet and the moon was shown in one of the big screens in the room, the planet had a grayish surface with what looked to appear as a purplish ocean.
["The Military Division were sent to extract and secure Tango 1 and Tango 2. However, they were held back as the two inhumans were protected by multiple humanoid soldiers, in response, the Military Division launched energy blasters. They then proceeded to secure with the area. They have confirmed the death of Tango 1, but they were unable to find the corpse of Tango 2."] Finished the Squad Leader as he then switched the screen of the planet to the two tangos.
The Tangos were part of an alien species that the Military Order has been at war with ever sense they invaded and caused the destruction of planet Earth. The Alien Species in question were never given a proper name as the Military Cabinet thought that giving them a name was humanizing them, which that every personal in the Military Order had a non-verbal agreement with that arrangement. The closest thing they had to an official name were 'the inhuman' but that's about it.
The first tango had a scratch over its picture, signifying that the target was terminated, now only led to Tango 2, and judging by the directly appearance of the tango, it appeared to injured as the image was taken during the some form of battle.
After seeing the photos and memorizing its identity the Soldat Leader began to speak once more in its dead monotone voice. ["We have reason to believe that Tango 2 still resides in Planet T-637, and we are to extract him and to bring him to the exact punishment he deserves"] The Soldats then straighten up their posture when the task of the mission was underway.
["This is an important task that the Military Cabinet and with heavy recommendations by the Black Guard. It'll have upon us to fulfill this mission and bring this inhuman scum to its knees."] Stated the leader. While he remained emotionless in its expression, there was a clear sign of venom after saying the last sentence.
But despite that, he digressed. ["But, as a warning to this entire squad, including myself, if one were to kill the Second Tango directly in combat, even by accident. Then that individuals Soldat line is to be terminated. immediately."]
When the leader ended that sentence, every single Soldat stiffened slightly. As they now know the very implications if they were to mess up, and it showed how much of an important priority to capture this inhuman alive meant.
The Squad Leader then pulled out a button and pointed it to the floor to a square shaped floor. He pressed it and the square floor soon opened itself and slowly but surely, a drop ship was now fully shown. And with it, a couple of technicians were seen to be accompanying with the drop ship, checking every minor detail or double checking if everything is in order. This wasn't the norm for technicians to be checking the drop ship if it was already on standby, and if they still are checking the drop ship for them, it showed that the Military Cabinet wasn't taking any chances for some unknown malfunction to take place when en route to the planet.
The leader then made a hand gesture to board the drop ship, to which they headed the toward the ship. As they did, the Technician then completely stopped with what they were doing and immediately saluted towards them, and one of them went forward a activated for a ladder to be put down so they can climb aboard.
The Soldats then begin to climb up the ladder with the Soldat leader watching overview. He then looked at the nearest technician and muttered one simple word. ["Operational?"].
"Fully Operational" The technician answered with him handing him over he's pad. The leader simply took a look in the pad and nods. He then pointed to the steel doors and with that, the technician crew then rushed off to the steel doors.
As the Soldat Leader fully climbed up and boarded up the Drop Ship, the sound of the steel doors closing and sealing could be heard. With this in mind, the Soldats inside then went toward their designated seats. Soldat 1-5 proceeded to sit in a seat right next to Soldat 1-2. In front of them lay a display of multiple screens and keypads. The most likely assumption was that he and 1-2 were to monitor the status of the drop ship at all times.
The Squad Leader then sat in front of the ship, he then began to start the ship up along with Soldat 1-3 and Soldat 1-4 were taking their spots as gunners in case should any unpleasant guests attempted to disrupt them on their way to Tango 2.
The Engines of the ship were now loud with the engines blaring every second. With the engines in full operation. The Lead Soldat then places it's hand on its earpiece. ["Command, this is Soldat MK8472, Squad Echo is clear for take off, requesting for takeoff in Staging Ground 8"] the Soldat requested.
The answer was almost immediate. ["Takeoff accepted"]
As the Lead Soldat took off he's hand off of he's earpiece, the sound of the large aluminum chamber doors of SG 8 began to open, the slow whine of the doors opening was ever so loud, as the doors were opening, the sound of the air began to be suck out into space. The Soldats in the drop ship then began to fasten their seat belts on place.
With wide chambers doors now wide open, the Soldat leader then proceeded to initiate the takeoff. He then pulled on a lever and as soon as did, the ship then began to slowly hover as the supporting beams disconnect from the drop ship and the wheels then retrieve back inside the ship.
Now with the ship fully ready for take off, the leader then proceeded to press on one small button and the entire ship jerked forward and the Soldats inside jerked back slightly as the ship suddenly accelerated forward and into the confinement of outer space
As they did, the Staging Ground 8 Chambers then began to close back and soon, the floating base was soon dissipated as the further they went.
Then the entire acceleration then stopped as the drop ship then slowly went in steady but fast pace. The estimated time was then calculated on the top screen.
[Planet T-637: 1 Hour]
With the estimate time now in mind to all of the Soldats in the drop ship, the Soldats then continued with their stations. With Soldat 1-5 and Soldat 1-2 monitoring the status of the ship as the the drop ship goin gong deeper to the planet in the void of space.

Location: Planet T-637
["General Everett, we have detected a large surge of energy coming from down below in West Point of Outpost 1, orders."] The lead Soldat stated as he held he's hand on he's earpiece.
And a response swiftly came in. "Land, scan the area, report if Tango 2 is located." And the generals voice then dissipated away in the comms, and with that order alone, the Soldat then begin to drift the drop ship down to its designated location. Soldat 1-5 looked at the computer momentarily and conducted a quick analysis on their current location and exact coordinates.
As the drop ship got closer to the surface of the planet, they immediately took note of the completely emptiness the surface was revealing, it was a grayish and yellowish surface that appeared to be rocky, but the other was nonetheless empty, but just because the surface was empty, doesn't mean there wasn't something underneath.
The drop ship promptly landed on the planets surface with the drop ship putting out its wheels with one in the front and two in the back. They landed as the ship shook a bit when it landed. With the drop ship on the ground, the Soldats took off their seatbelts and got off of their seats and grabbed their weapons from the gun racks and proceeded down the ladder.
One by one did the Soldats landed their boots to the surface of the planet, each one took a scan of the on their surrounding area, wether it'd be some form of booby trap or a ambush from invisible cloaking or dug in the surface. Whatever the case, their scans came in negative as they slowly eased up but still on alert.
The Soldat Leader looked at the device that projected the amount of energy that was released in the area, it was high, almost to a level 4 amount. Which in comparison there are 10 levels, 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Which if it was showing the amount of release of energy, there was a most likely chance that it was some form of testing grounds or a science facility, both were to either be destroyed or investigated to decide it's fate and seek its profitability to the Military Order.
But that train of thought was suddenly interrupted as the ground began to shake for just a few seconds, causing the drop ship stationed to shake as well. Soldats stood uneffected, as they didn't care about the quake or were trying to figure out what caused it. Which was latter that the leader was trying to do. The lead Soldat took a look into he's pad and momentarily stiffened when he looked at the pad.
Level 7. It was level 7. The amount of energy being released was increasing, and to a dangerous level as well, as whatever they were testing, it was in pure desperation, and sense they were doing it out of desperation, the chances of Tango 2 dying increased. Because it was one common fact that should desperation overcome common sense, the chances of whatever they were doing would backfire immediately.
Some of the Soldats were looking down in their feet, signifying that they have the sense that it's directly below them, with the lead Soldat agreeing with this judgement he took the plausible course of action.
["Set Explosives"] With that one line said, Soldat 1-4 went up to a designated spot on the ground, he kneed down and pulled out two remote controlled explosives from it's pouch and placed it in the ground. While small in size, it made up with the explosion that quickly followed soon as 1-4 clicked onto the detonator.
There was auditable sound heard from the explosives as it immediately exploded, dust went up in the air as the Soldats waited for their results. But their gambled spot has seemed to pay off.
As the dust cleared off, a small crater can be seen, but down below was gone the surface and revealed what appeared to be of metallic surface down below. One immediate logical answer to all of the Soldats would be that they found the Inhumans science facility.
Almost immediately an alarm could be heard being activated down below, alongside with the the distanced growls of panic or anger. With this final confirmation. The lead Soldat gave the order. ["Retrieve Tango 2, Termination for the rest is green light"]
The Soldats then for the last time check their equipment, then their weapons and ammunitions. Soldat 1-5 scanned the weapon he had in hand. A Assault Rifle, The MK16, that was holstered to he's armor should be inquire the other weapon behind him, a Sub Machine Gun, the AMP7, and two sidearms, a Hard Compact Magnum Revolver and the other a semi-burst fire pistol, which in practicality it was just a final resort should it ever come to it.
He separated the magazine from the main gun and looked inside and scanned, while what he saw didn't lie to him, the Soldat wanted to be completely sure it was full. After a good 3 seconds, the scan reported back with a message to its heads up display. [52/52] Signifying that the magazine was completely full. And with that, he slammed the mag back into place as he turned he's attention to the hole.
All at once, the Echo Squad of Soldats then jumped down in the hole and landed. They then quickly moved to the nearest cover or proceeded to open fire on the engaging inhumans.
Their mission was still clear as their eyesight allowed them to be, they won't fail their mission of retrieving Tango 2.

They were here, they found the facility, faster than B'aveola Zopzad had initially hoped. Now it was race against time to get the damn Inter-dimensional Machine to finish setting up.
The Inter-dimensional Machine was the most revolutionized machine that the invented by the Metations. Something that was created less than a year ago. Something that was meant to amount in the coming victory sense the countless defeat their had concurred ever sense these..Atomic Homo Sapients had come after them.
But B'aveola didn't care about the history of the cause of their ultimate humiliation and constant cruel harassment they've caused to keep their self sadistic satisfaction in check. No, the only priority he had was to get the living fuck out of this facility through any means necessary. As escaping the clutches of the Genocidal Ultra Militarized National Government of Vengence was one thing he wanted to do the most in its entire existence.
He then heard the so distant gunfire and blasts coming ever so closer. They were near. The Metation pushed away an engineer who was using a computer and proceeded the check how much more time they required.
[5 Minutes]
Just a few more minutes, that's all what he needed get the hell out of this universe and go into the other one for refuge. While he oversaw the production of the Inter-Dimensional Machine, he never was there to see the results, only funding it. But from what he quickly gathered, they were able to discover at least amounted to universes. Multiple universes that are either similar or completely, and one of those they were able to establish some form of, 'associations' with them. But one simple problem. They were humans, they were all human that are part of the 'associations'.
Discarding the simple fact these were humans, a very similar race to the ones they were fighting against for a millennia and that they had the stupidest names B'aveola had ever heard in its life. He had to move it aside as this was the first successful contact with another universes. And another side note, this universes could be the Metations last hope for salvation, to get away from the Rabid Atomic Human Militarists once and for all.
But once more, the gunshots were now heard much more clearer, with a snarl, he went and shut the entrance with a steel door that went down within a second. He heard a panic growl coming from the other end before a loud gunshot was heard and the body on the other side went slump and fell onto the steel door.
B'aveola Zopzad felt he's two hearts slowing down immensely when he heard the body go down. As whatever remaining facility guards went in to point their weapons to the entrance, He's four fingered hand slowly twitching ever so slightly to the blaster in he's holster. He knew they wanted him alive, but he won't let them, he won't let them have their sadistic satisfaction.
But almost as a consequential timing, the portal slowly began to open up, the surrounding area began to distort ever so slightly as the portal was manifesting itself, the machine began to sound heavy as its motors were in overheat, a bluish color alongside with the portal now completely manifested.
B'aveola would've instinctively dropped down to he's knees and prayed to its gods for this chance of exile, but that wasn't the time, now with the portal open, the other Metations would rush up and escape through as well. He was the first priority and so he goes first.
But almost like a blessing, it came with a cost, because as soon as it moved its body to go inside the portal, a chunk of metal then fell right in front of him and was almost immediately followed by a device. One good look at the device made him jump and tried to look away and yell.
"Stun Explo-"
But he wasn't fast enough, soon he's entire vision was completely consumed with a white flash. As he moved its hands to its eyes, attempting to recover as fast as he could, he heard a loud thud infront of him. It didn't take a genius to figure out who was now infront of him.
-
Tango 2 was not going to escape.
As much apparent by the current state the objective who is temporarily had disabled eyesight due to the flash bang. But the other inhumans, not so much like the Second Tango. And it could've been much more annoying if the inhuman guards diverted their attention to him. But never received the chance as the steel door was blasted open making them diverge their attention to he's squad once more.
With no time to waste he acted quickly. He rose up the AMP7, aim down the iron sights and fired multiple shots at two guards with some being consecutive and critical, effectively taking them off the fight. He's scanned then sense a inhuman charging towards him and so he stepped back dodging a quick slash from a guard. He took the incentive and slammed in he's Sub Machine Gun into the creatures head which resulted the weapon going through the creature face and through to the back of the head.
And he pulled back he's hand and weapon which are now completely covered with its greenish blood and small bits of the insides of the inhumans head. But it didn't matter to him. As it pulled out it's revolver with it's other hand and fired one consecutive shot that landed directly between the eyes of the creature as it went limp and fell to the ground.
As blood start to pour out from the inhuman head, the Soldat diverted he's attention to he's main objective, the inhuman now was slowly recovering from the stun. Which gave him amplifier amount of time to disable him permanently.
The Soldat then slowly walked toward he's target. As the Tango had its vision restored, it didn't take long for him to realize who it was in front of him. He tried to grab a hold onto he's weapon on he's holster. But that only successful halfway through when the Soldat quickly rushed to him and made him drop the weapon to the ground and the target face first.
The Soldat then kicked the weapon away from the inhuman. He returned he's attention to the Tango as he saw him whimpering and groaning in pain as the creature once more desperately attempted to either stand up or crawl to one of the fallen guards.
But neither choice mattered to Soldat 1-6. The Tango was completely exposed as the disgusting creature didn't have any armor and it was within full sights of the Soldat, and while he's objective is clear. To bring Tango 2 alive. The Squad Leader and the General never said that he couldn't torture the miserable waste of existence.
With this in mind, the Soldat once more approach the Inhuman with the other side beginning to panic more as it desperately attempted to crawl away from the Soldat. Something that the Soldat took note and upon reaching him, he took out its metallic baton and hit the inhuman straight in the head.
He knew how many hits it took to kill the inhuman. If the Soldat was directing towards and only the head, then a good 4 more hits would do the trick. But he also knew what direct spots did it take to fulfill the maximum amount of pain possible. But he needed to do one course of action to proceed.
The target needed to be disabled to move forward.
First was the arms.
The Soldat then went and grabbed a hold onto its right arm as he placed he's leg on top of the inhuman. He then pulled out it's cuffs. And while this was an extremely rare occurrence where the Soldats needed cuffs. That didn't mean he doesn't know how to use them. Which when one of the handles where connected to the right arm, he then quickly attached it to the other arm.
Now the things legs.
He took a scan on the creatures legs, one where it directed to the inhumans knee of what closely resembled to one. MK1995 raised up its baton and then proceeded to smash it down into the knee cap in the right leg. An audible sound of a crack was heard and the inhuman growled out in pain.
He then did the same to it's left leg, smashing it down into the things knee caps. And finally, feeling the pain at it height. The creature finally gave out a blood curling scream. This only gave a short form of satisfaction. He couldn't describe it, it was like a sensation to see the individuals from the inhuman race just suffering. To be very content from it. It was something that made him feel, alive in a sense.
As he moved to continue he's torture of the miserable piece of flesh, a commanding voice stopped him.
["Disengage"]
That voice came from he's Squad Leader, and upon hearing the order, he stiffened. While he had its desire to continue its torture of the inhuman. It knew it's limits. So he acknowledged the order by placing the baton back into place in he's holster. He saw the Tango whimper in pain, so he went pulled out he's MK16 and knocked the thing out with the butt of its gun.
As proceeded to grab the Tango by its collar and began to drag the thing, he scanned the surroundings of the testing facility, it was a blood bath, there were dead bodies of the inhumans in place, all killed in different shapes, some where killed by piles of bullets or by a singular bullet, some where blown up and parts of their bodies were barley attached or completely cut off. Some where mere nothing but ash. A satisfying sight to see.
He went past he's squad as the Soldat already knew he's next assignment was to bring him back to the ship and go to Generals Ship so he can be turned in and suffer the rest of its life in agonizing pain to a point where it'll break just so it can beg for a easy way out in death.
One quick scan from Soldat 1-6 went through the rest of the squad, and the others did like wise, the rest of the squad was undamage, except for 1-3 who had visible damage shown in its lower torso and it's left leg, as shown with spots of yellow blood coming out but still operational when the time was needed.
As he walked past the squad and beginning to go down the steps, the Squad Leader finally took notice of the large portal. He was completely stiffened as so as Soldat 1-5. He walked a good distance to it as he began to scan everything about it as he pulled out the device to measure up the amount of energy being emitted.
He…couldn't describe it, it's nothing like he has ever seen before, this was new, the inhumans invented a..he didn't know what it was, a teleporter? A incredibly weak or backward version one if it is one. When he concluded the scan. He look at the device to see if it was still the same.
Level 10.
The Soldat was confused, somehow, somehow this singular form of energy was Emitting level 10 amounts of energy where mere moments ago the facility and the ground was shaking. To just being in a bluish thing.
He went and saw a bunch of control panels that was to the side with a bunch of dead engineers or scientists. With this in mind, he pressed he's hand onto he's headset and immediately contacted the General Everett.
It soon picked up with a immediate answer. "Soldat 1-1"
["General Everett sir"] he responded back to, as he went and made a quick salute.
"Tango 2 Secured?" The General Asked to the Soldat Squad Leader.
["Tango 2 Secured"] Said with confirmation. ["Tango 2 is being moved to the drop ship to be moved to the your ship sir"] The Soldat added.
The Soldat then heard the chair in the other side move ever so slightly as he heard the General released a simple sigh. The closest thing to a relief to him, before he spoke once more.
["Tango 2 was found attempted to go through an anomalous.."] For the first time in a long time, the Soldat couldn't even functionally describe what he was seeing. The General noticed that he hesitated.
"What did you find?" The General pressured on the Soldat.
The Squad leader took a few moments to find the correct words to properly describe the anomalous activity in front of him. ["It a blueish vortex, assumption currently is a teleporter but we are unsure."] States the Soldat.
Silence was the only thing between the comms as the only sound was the anomalous sounds coming out of the vortex. Feeling unsure what to do next, the Soldat asked for directions.
["Orders?"]
There was a few seconds of silence before a final answer came out of the General. "Shut it off to wherever it's connected, keep the facility in tact."
The Lead Soldat nods. ["Acknowledged"]
And with that, the comms went dead. The Soldat then removes he's hand from its earpiece and looked around for the source. He saw a panel connected to the main machine. The Squad leader then looks at Soldat 1-5 who without needing to nod, went to the panel and saw over its options.
After a good minute, Soldat 1-5 pressed on a singular button. And after a few seconds, the blue vortex then slowly started to disappear into nothing. With this in mind, the Lead Soldat then began to put he's hand on he's earpiece to report back to Everest.
But almost suddenly a shockwave came from the vortex as it hit all the Soldat within the testing grounds. All of them were hit by it and fell to the ground in agony. They felt pain, something they haven't even felt in a such a long time that they lost control as their systems began to breakdown as errors began to flood their systems.
The Lead Soldat was on its knees as its hands were on he's head as he tried to ignore the pain as much as possible, while it was somewhat futile, he's vision wasn't. While ignore the error sign, he saw that the vortext wasn't no longer dissipating, it was now bigger and every second it going into a different color.
As suddenly a lighting strikes came out of the vortex, hitting to different locations, until one landed directly to the Lead Soldat.

[Soldat 1-1: Offline]
1-6 immediately stopped where he was and stiffened. He looked back into the hole once more and directing its hud to where the message popped up. What did it mean offline? It didn't even show that he was critically damaged or killed. Just. Offline?
But before he could even question it even more. Another message popped up.
[Soldat 1-3: Offline]
Something was wrong. Something came out of that..thing. Acting quickly he loosened he's grip on the Tango as he pulled out he's MK16 and began to run back into the hole and into the facility below.
As 1-6 ran through the bodies of the countless of the dead inhumans, he activated a emergency call to the planet and advising to any military units to converge in he's location, as whatever this thing is, it was shutting off the Soldats in the testing grounds.
As he half through into he's destination, another two messages popped out into he's hud, angering him even further.
[Soldat 1-2: Offline]
[Soldat 1-5: Offline]
Two. Two of them were gone just like that, now left was the injured Soldat as he heard two separate gunfire, with the assumption that Soldat 1-4 was now using both its primary weapons. The Soldat began to run faster to get in contact.
As he was round a bend to the testing grounds, he heard a distant lightning strike which result in the end of the gunfire and another message once more popped out into he's hud.
[Soldat 1-4: Offline]
When that final message came throw he's hud. He was now furious. He momentarily took of he's hand of he's weapon as he's hand bottle with rage. But he knew that being angry would be unwise and could lead to uncalculated decisions and action. To at least calm the storm within him. He pointed he's rifle to a dead inhuman and open fir- no. He completely unloaded the entire weapon onto the already dead inhuman.
When the firing stopped, he didn't even register that it was empty and clicked on the trigger a couple times until he's hud warned of the clip being completely empty. With this he now calmly but still quickly took off he's mag and put it in a empty pouch as he went and grabbed a fresh one and slammed it in the Assault Rifle before making the final bend.
When he arrived it was empty. And it meant on the literally definition of empty. Any corpse from the inhumans was gone, just leaving any body parts that was separated from the inhuman. Any weapons that ways layed on the ground was also gone. Including some pieces of equipment and parts of the floor were gone. But not a single body of he's Squad was here.
Soldat 1-6 could only stare at complete disbelief as he scanned for a second time, to make sure he's systems weren't failing him. But what he was he seeing was the truth. But he noticed one thing, the vortex.
He knew that thing had to be responsible for the sudden shut down and disappearance of he's Squad. And to prevent this thing from being the death that it was. He then rushed up the stairs and looked around for the source of the structure. When he laid he's eye on the machine still operational, he then pulled out a EMP grenade from he's left holster and began to pull the pin.
But almost as suddenly the vortex began to glow once more into different colors, as forms of lightning began to manifest, acting quickly, he threw the EMP toward the machine as a lightning bolt then hit him.
The EMP landed near the machine as it beeps began to go faster and faster by the second until finally exploding and releasing a blast radius to which when it made contact with the machine, the machine immediately shut down.
And so, the vortex began to slowly disappear as it slowly collapsed into itself as a few minutes later. It was completely gone. Only leaving behind a silent empty testing grounds.
