Naruto: Master of the Mystery Semblance Chapter 1: 1, a Naruto + RWBY Crossover fanfic

Naruto walks alone through a small clearing in Wave Country, he had stormed out of Tazuna's house after blowing up at Inari, Naruto growls as he began punching a thick Sycamore tree's trunk.

After an hour of doing this non-stop, Naruto had shattered the trunk, toppling the tree. Panting in mild exhaustion, Naruto looks at his handiwork.

"Stupid spoiled brat doesn't even realize how good he has it." the blonde growls.

Deciding that he didn't want to go back to the house yet, Naruto decided that he would just sleep here.

As he falls asleep, Naruto enters his mindscape and goes to speak to Kurama, the Kyuubi, or Nine-Tailed Fox, his Biju. The Tailed Beast that had been sealed into him the day he was born.

"Ah, welcome Kit, it's been a while." the Fox said.

"Hey Kurama, what's up?"

"I thought that I would give you some help with your training."

"How do you plan on helping me?" the blonde asks.

"I will give you two things, a Semblance and a Weapon that compliments it, the Semblance simply put is a manifestation of your Soul, it's called Extra Extra and your Weapon is called Fox's Virtue." Kurama said.

Then, a pair of red flashes appeared next to Naruto, a strange gauntlet and a Weapon that looks like a Katana.

"Put Extra Extra on your right wrist, Kit." Kurama said.

Naruto picks up the gauntlet and puts it on his right wrist, once he does it, the blonde feels a sudden rush of power, even greater than the boost to his Chakra when he's in Kyuubi Mode.

"Wow, what's this? This rush of power feels amazing!"

Inside the Cage behind the Seal, Kurama smiled, he knew that the kid would be elated at receiving these gifts, they came from his Mother, Kushina after all being they were originally hers and she had told Kurama to pass them down to Naruto after she died and to teach him how to use them the right way.

"Pick up Fox's Virtue and wield it." Kurama instructed.

Naruto does so, finding the weapon to be light and effortless to hold.

"Wow, this feels like it was made especially for me." Naruto says excitedly.

"That's because it was, it...had been your Mother's." Kurama said in a sad voice.

Naruto stop celebrating when he heard this.

"M-my Mom wielded this weapon?" Naruto said somberly.

"She did, she used my Chakra to create both the Fox's Virtue and the Extra Extra." replied the Fox, before continuing.

"These things are the other part of her Legacy, though you are the greatest and most fulfilling part of her Legacy." Kurama said.

Naruto began training with Fox's Virtue for four hours until Sunset.

Back at the house, Sakura was beginning to worry about Naruto, since he hadn't come back yet, upstairs, Tazuna, Inari, and Tsunami had also begun to worry about the blonde.

"Arghhh! Where is that Baka!?" Sakura screeched, nearly deafening everyone in the house.

It was really late when Naruto returned to Tazuna's house, his orange jumpsuit torn and tattered, dirt and grime all over his face.

"It's about time you got back, you idiot! Do you know how worried I was!?" the pinkette roared.

Naruto stared at the pinkette blankly.

"Don't kid yourself, Haruno. I know and you know that I was the furthest thing from your mind, so don't you dare try to patronize me." the blonde growled angrily.

Sakura was flabbergasted, she'd think that Naruto would be overjoyed to know that she was worried about him, though she wasn't being truthful with him, what could it hurt to string the Dobe along for a little while? It could be just the thing to get Sasuke-kun to finally notice her.

But now, that plan might not work, if the way Naruto just spoke to her or the look of pure loathing he was leveling at Sakura was any indication of what Naruto thought about Sakura at this moment was more than upsetting to the pinkette.

Naruto then heads up the stairs take a much needed shower.

The next day, Naruto was diligently guarding Tazuna and the rest of the workers with an army of Shadow Clones, the real Naruto stuck close to Tazuna, Sasuke and Sakura watched their blonde teammate closely.

"Something is off with the Dobe, he's different." Sasuke said.

Sakura couldn't help but agree, Naruto was no longer the happy, overexuberent blonde idiot, as she watched the blonde, a worried expression marring her delicate features, Sakura eyes something new on his right wrist.

"What's that on Naruto's wrist?" Sakura said.

"Huh?" Sasuke says, but is cut off by the appearence of a thick misty fog that covered the bridge.

"Hey, eyes up! Sakura! Sasuke!" one of Naruto's clones shouts to the two distracted Ninjas.

Sasuke and Sakura hurriedly took up their positions.

"So, the brats are here once again, I'll definitely try to kill at least ONE of you this time!" Zabuza shouted.

Naruto kept silent, learning the value of silence from Kurama.

Unbeknownst to anyone on the bridge, a pair of silver eyes watched everything with wrapped attention.

Ruby Rose had settled her gaze on the blonde, she could the Semblance that the blonde wore on his right wrist.

'That's Extra Extra, the rarest Semblance ever... Just who is this boy and how does he have it?' Ruby thought before she disappeared.

Haku had appeared and began fighting against Sasuke, Sakura, who is protecting Tazuna looks over at Naruto, who has yet to move against Haku or Zabuza.

"Hey Baka! Go and help Sasuke-kun!" Sakura shouts, to her surprise Naruto didn't move, he just continued watching Sasuke get thrashed by Haku, his stoic look never leaving his face.

Kakashi quickly glanced back at Sasuke and Haku, seeing Naruto just standing there not trying to help his raven haired teammate.

"What's going on, why isn't Naruto helping Sasuke fight?" the Copy Ninja asks before returning his attention back to his own fight.

(Kyuubi's Voice inside Naruto's head) "He's such a disappointment, so overconfident that it's sickening. Step in and save him before he gets killed, undoubtedly you would be blamed if the Uchiha brat died."

"I guess your right, Kurama." Naruto said before pulling out Fox's Virtue and channeled some wind chakra into it, causing the weapon to change into a rifle of sorts.

"You activated your Blast Mode," said Kurama, "In this mode, your weapon converts into its secondary form, one the that offers you the ability to attack from a distance, to be able to offer supportive fire without exposing yourself to needless risk." Kurama said.

It was then that Haku creates his Crystal Ice Mirrors, trapping Sasuke inside them.

"Sasuke!" screamed Sakura.

Naruto dropped to the prone position, he channels some chakra into his left eye and targeted the fourth mirror to the imediate right of Sasuke and fired.

BAM!

The ice mirror that concealed the real Haku shattered, sending him flying out of his creation, a ragged, bloody hole in his forehead, the force of Naruto's shot completely destroying Haku's mask. What happened shocked everyone present.

"Naruto." Sakura whispered, in complete awe of her blonde teammate.

'Unbelievable! I, an Uchiha Elite had to be saved by...him!' Sasuke thought angrily, thouroghly embarassed at the fact that someone he thought as lesser than himself was the one who saved his life, though he is grateful, his Uchiha pride would never let him be humble enough to thank Naruto for saving him.

"Well, this was unexpected, it seems that I must cut this fight short, Kakashi. You and your brats can have the Bridge Builder and his family as well as the bridge here, I will withdraw and will not seek to take the man's life." Zabuza says before vanishing, and with Zabuza gone, so too was the mist.

Later, Team 7 returned to Konoha.

Naruto walked into the Jade Tiger Weapons Shoppe, which is owned by Richiro and Jori Higurashi, along with their daughter, Tenten, the Weapon Mistress of Konoha and one the Konoha 12.

The bun-haired brunette was working the counter when Naruto came in, looking up, Tenten gave Naruto a welcoming smile.

"Hi Naruto, welcome to the Jade Tiger, what can I do for you today?" Tenten asked.

"Well, Tenten, my team and I just got back from a C turned A ranked mission in Wave Country, and I would like to replenish my kunai and shuriken supplies, plus, I would like you and your parents to look at a weapon that I found."

Tenten's eyes lit up at Naruto's words about his discovery, faster than Naruto could blink, the brunette was around the counter standing in front of Naruto.

"Mom, Dad! Come here, Naruto's here and he says he's found a weapon that he wants the two of you to look at."

Soon, both Jori, who at 45 is still a vision of beauty that can give any woman a run for her money in the looks department. Tenten having inherited her looks as well as her beautiful brown hair from her Mother was also sure to be a real looker the more she matured.

Richiro smiled at Naruto and his daughter as he leaned against the wall, with his arms crossed.

Naruto first held up his right wrist, showing them the Extra Extra Semblance and the weapon, the Fox's Virtue.

Jori gasped when she saw the weapon, running over to the blonde.

"W-where did you find these, Naruto?" the older woman asks as she carefully fingers the gauntlet, smiling at seeing something that made her think of her closest friend, Kushina Uzumaki.

"I found them in a clearing in Wave Country on my last mission, Jori Kaa-san." the blonde said.

Naruto then drew the Fox's Virtue and shows the trio the weapon's two forms, again making Jori smile fondly, while amazing Tenten and her Father.

Meanwhile, in the Hokage's Office...

"Naruto Uzumaki killed a Chunin and B Ranked Missing Nin, Haku from Kiri, the last known user of the Hyoten Ice Bloodline instead of bringing him back here to Konoha? And you say that he used a strange weapon that had the ability to kill the enemy from a substantial distance without endangering himself as well as saving Sasuke Uchiha from certain death at the hands of this Hyoten user?" Homura Mitokado asked, irritation clear in his voice.

"Yes." Kakashi said.

"Where is the Boy now?" asked Danzo Shimura.

"Probably on his way home now." Kakashi said.

"I will-." Danzo began, as he stood up, only to stopped by Hiruzen.

"You will leave Naruto-kun be Danzo, I know of this weapon that he used. It was Kushina's after all, so by all rights it is his birthright and only he can wield it anyway as it would kill anyone who it found to be unworthy or anyone with a tainted soul." said Hiruzen.
