After leaving the ice rink, the girls went to a nearby fast food place in order to get their lunch.
"Nothing like some warm food after skating," said Riley who was eating a burger.
"You can say that again," said Kate before taking a bite of some fries.
"Hey, can I have some?" asked Riley.
"Open up," said Kate while holding some out. Riley then opened her mouth while Kate gave her the fries, both laughing a little as they did so.
"Thanks babe," said Riley after finishing them. She then leaned over to give Kate a kiss.
"Ew," the two heard someone say from nearby.
"I can't believe these freaks are actually showing off in public, talk about disgusting," said a woman sitting at another table with a man. They both looked to be in their mid to late forties.
"Honey, don't do this again," said the man with pleading eyes.
"Oh come on, Frank, you know that I'm just speaking the truth," said the woman.
"Girls should only date boys so that they can have kids and a normal family when they marry," she said while glaring at Kate and Riley.
"Just ignore her," said Kate while grabbing Riley's hand when she saw that the other girl was going to say something.
"Do your parents know how disgraceful you are?" asked the woman.
"That's it, I'm done with this," said Frank as he stood.
"For ten years I've put up with you and your sick attitude to people who aren't hurting anyone just like these girls aren't and I'm done with it," he said.
"Don't even bother coming home because I'm filing for divorce and your stuff will be packed out on the front porch by the time you do get back," said Frank before storming out with everyone watching on.
"Frank, you get back here!" said the woman while chasing after him.
"Good riddance," said Riley as she squeezed Kate's hand a little bit.
