GENERAL PROMPT: Use one of the sections of "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird" by Wallace Stevens as inspiration for a short story or poem! You could use the general vibes, setting, or insert a line directly into your work.

A man and a woman

Are one.

There were no words that could completely describe the relationship that Han Sooyoung had with Yoo Joonghyuk, but the closest common term that she could think of was "romantic."

Was that what they were? In a romantic relationship? She supposed it worked, but it didn't seem quite right. How could "romantic" encapsulate all they had been through together? How could "romantic" tell their complete story?

And speaking of completeness, neither of them felt complete. They could never feel complete without Kim Dokja.

The day that Han Sooyoung, Yoo Joonghyuk, and the rest of Kim Dokja's Company rushed into the hospital room and saw Kim Dokja awake, Han Sooyoung knew what it felt like to finally be complete. For that missing part of her, and that missing part of her relationship with Yoo Joonghyuk, to finally be filled.

As Han Sooyoung looked at Kim Dokja, her mind was suddenly rushed with all the memories. All of his stories were speaking.

She saw the young boy, injured after jumping out of a window. She saw the salaryman, getting onto the train the day that the scenarios would begin. She saw the man in a white coat, the one who knew the future and was doing everything in his power to lead them to the best one. She saw the Demon King of Salvation, the one with wings like a blackbird who sacrificed and sacrificed for them. She saw the Oldest Dream, who went through eternity watching them.

She saw Kim Dokja. And she knew Yoo Joonghyuk saw him too.

Finally, all three of them, they were together.
