Today is IDAHOBIT, or International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia. Sort of like a miniature Pride Month. So... I wrote a story about a BanG Dream trans headcanon, about none other than our Palindromic Drummer, Maya! That's why all the Chapter names are Palindromes, and the Title (Why not?). I wanted to call this ""A! You're not a Maya, Yamato!" - Neru Oya", but that's doesn't feel like the name of an event, so it's the title of this chapter. Also, I was planning to release the chapters up to the days of IDAHOBIT, but not enough time so... here. Habatakou! Chouten no Yume e to!
A girl with blond hair left the train station. "First day of my new school" she said to herself. She looked around the strange but familiar surroundings. This was the town she grew up in. Maybe she could see him again… The giant TV in front of the train station interrupted her thoughts. They were showing an idol band. But this particular idol band caught her attention, especially their drummer. Oddly familiar. Oh well.
It was just a normal day for little old Maya Yamato. She has got work at the agency after school. Hina ran up to her. "Hey, Maya-chan! Did you hear about that new student?" she said, "Strange she arrived so late in the school year." Maya nodded. "I heard she graduated early, so technically she isn't really our classmate." Maya said. "I see…" Hina contemplated, "Well, I hope she is boppin'." As they sat down in their homeroom, Maya could overhear the other classmates talking about the new student. Shortly after, the teacher walked into the classroom with the new student. A very familiar new student actually… "Neru?" The teacher introduced the new girl, "Girls, this is Neru Oya. She has transferred from Osaka. She has already graduated, but just wants to visit this school for a while." Neru introduced herself, all while Maya couldn't help to think about her. This girl… who knew her since elementary… who knew her before she was Maya. "You can sit next to Ms Yamato over there." the teacher told Neru. Neru paused, before walking over to Maya.
Neru stared at Maya while Maya internally panicked. "What am I even gonna say to her?!" she thought, "Does she still even recognise me?!" "So," Neru said, "Yamato, am I right?" Maya nodded. "Say, you kind of remind me of someone…" said Neru, "A boy I liked in elementary school." "Of course." "Same hair colour, same eye colour, even the same last name." Neru said, "Are you by any chance related? His name is Mako, by the way." Maya internally cringed. She didn't want to hear that name ever again… Neru stared at her, before turning towards the teacher, and excused herself for the bathroom. She then proceeded to grab Maya's hand and ran off.
Once the two arrived in a closet, they continued. "As I was saying…" Neru said. And what she did next was absolutely uncalled for. She groped Maya's crotch, making Maya let out a yelp and a reddened face. Once Neru found what she was looking for, she stopped. "Don't do that!" Maya cried. "So I was correct. You are Mako." said Neru, "What are you doing in an all-girls' school, eh?" "I'm a girl!" said Maya, "And my name's Maya now!" "Don't you lie to me, Yamato!" Neru cried, "I'm not gonna reveal you just yet… I think I might blackmail you. Do what I say, or else? Understand?!" Maya, unsure what to do in this situation, simply nodded. "Good, you pervert." Neru said, and walked away…
