A Flower In The Rain

Hana groaned...her eyes opened weakly to the scenery of the rustic bedroom.
Was it all...
Just a strange dream...?
Hana thought to herself when her blue eyes took a shine of light and consciousness.
"Glad to see you're awake..." a moustashed gentlemen spoke to her gently as he adjusted his frames.
Who is this man?
She wondere while scanning the area she rested in...
This certainly wasn't her house.
"Take it easy now..." he said softly, "You're in the hospital." he stated, " Sebastian and his sister Maru happened to pass by you on their route into town and found you passed out in front of the old community center." he explained.
"Se...bastian?" she questioned softly, "That guy...who wears all the black...?"
"Yes that's him." the doctor nodded, " I'm Doctor Harvey." he stated, " I perform regular check ups and medical procedures for all of the residents here in Pelican Town." he smiled, "Sebastian's sister, Maru, happens to be a nurse here, so her brother helped carry you in." "Are you okay? What happened?"
"I'm...not entirely sure..." said Hana, "But I think...I had some kind of weird dream."
"Oh yeah?" Harbey blinked as he rolled to the side in his wheeled chair and clicked a pen to write on a clipboard, "Would you like to tell me about it?"
Hana went into full detail of the experiences she had with Lewis in the old Community Center she was found at. She told Harvey about the Hut and the small green creatures that Lewis referred to as rats, and even about the weird tablet she found when she was alone, as well as every odd dream she had up to this point.
"I know...it's totally crazy, right?" Hana chuckled.
"Well..." Harvey blinked, "Perhaps not as crazy as you think..."
He paused for a moment.
"What do you mean?" asked Hana.
"A lot has happened to you recently, correct? he questioned her to which she averted her gaze.
"The loss of your grandfather Chester, may he rest in peace...moving to a new place that needs a lot of TLC...surrounded by strangers in a place you don't know too well...it's all rather stressing." he stated, "And in times of high stress it's not un common for people to become overwhelmed." he said softly, "Anxiety kicks in...and odd dreams can occur." he blinked, "It sounds to me like you just need to take it easy and get lots of rest, "he hummed, "And drinking plenty of water wouldn't hurt either." he hummed, "But...if after a bit of time it all still feels like way too much...then come talk to me again." he stated, "I might be able to prescribe something to help reduce it, all right." he smiled, "Don't worry though...we won't turn to medications unless it feels nessasary."

"In other words...I really am crazy..." Hana sighed as she read over her "Doctor's Note" on the way back home.
So...Sebastian helped me, huh?
She thought to herself.
...He never mentioned he had a sister...
She blinked.
...But then...it's not as though we got to talking personally with each other anyway...
She sighed softly.
Still...I should probably thank him somehow...right?
Upon Hana's return home she figured she better check the garden to see if anything happened to it while she was in a hospial bed...only to discover that she had mail...
Curious, she retrieved the envelope inside...
It was a letter...
addressed to her.
To you, Dear Hana.
My sources tell me that you have been poking around inside of the old Community Center.
...Why don't you pay me a visit?
My Chambers are West of the Forest Lake, in the old Stone Tower.
I may have some information concerning your...
"Rat Problem"...
"Signed...-M. Rasmodius, Wizard." Hana said softly after having finished reading the mysterious letter out loud...
Even the stationary seemed to have its own mystical feel about it...
"A Wizard...?" she blinked.
And things continue to get stranger...
Hana thought to herself.
There was a long silence after that...pondering on what course of action she should take...
Well... Maybe I should go.
she sthought to herself, shifting her blue eyes over the trees that surrounded her now new home.
At the very least, I might be able to get to the bottom of these weird dreams I have been having...
"Worse case scenario?" she shrugged, "He's just some crazy old kook in a tower."
Hana giggled slightly as she took a moment to ponder the situation.
"...All right." she said softly, "Let's go then..."
