The Ghostface Killer's Warehouse, New York City
The Ghostface killer placed the gag back into Quinn's mouth as she glared tearfully at him from his treatment of her and her brother's now late father… Which was to untie him and throw him into a corner on the dirty floor after removing the knife buried in his right eye. He moved the wooden chair he occupied to the same corner and returned to stand by the two people he had grown entirely fond of already.
The Carpenter sisters.
Sam still held her younger sister in a hug from behind while Tara only stared at her own feet. He knew the feeling. He was familiar with it. Trying to keep yourself standing. Take in what happened. What they had done. For him, it had been someone else he once knew… For Sam, it had been Richie. Tara had thought it had been Amber but that had truly been more Gale Weather's kill than her own. She just finished her off. No, this was her kill.
Detective Bailey.
He knew she was having second thoughts. But with her older sister holding her… No, holding her in place, she knew exactly what was going on… Her older sister had embraced who she really was. Truthfully, their parentage was interesting but he didn't really care for secrets of the past. He wanted nothing more than to just live in the now.
To really live.
Sam understood that, having to hide who she was. From her peers. From her friends. Even from her younger sister. She felt like a shadow. Exactly like he once did. He would admit, it was very difficult to convince her when he first called. She almost hung up until he said three words she herself said during a therapy session before her therapist basically put her out.
It felt right.
But he told her what he heard was a cry for help. A cry for someone, anyone, to understand. And he told her he did. He even gave her an offer she couldn't refuse. Meet face to face. He wouldn't wear the mask. They would meet and all she had to do was listen. And when he revealed what Jason and Greg planned for her and her sister. What the Detective and his children planned for her and her sister. Oh, she was furious. She cried. She screamed. She raged. She was furious. She was angry. But without direction. Her and her sister were surrounded by lies.
Killers.
Thankfully, she knew someone willing to help.
So they planned. They stalked their victims. And when the time was right, they acted. He kidnapped Ethan. Sam kidnapped Quinn. And together, they kidnapped Detective Bailey. But he watched over her. She had been sloppy when she kidnapped Ethan but she succeeded where others would fail miserably. And he had to admit, he did admire seeing her in a costume… He could only imagine what Tara would look like in one… Both of which he admitted to her once… She was angry and annoyed but he saw something else in her eyes…
But first, business…
"What now…?" Sam asked quietly. He glanced at her and saw she was looking at him but her eyes glanced at her petrified younger sister. He told her she could take her home and explain or they could see through this together then explain. He expected her to answer the former…
But someone else answered instead.
"See this through…" Tara said quietly. But her eyes were no longer looking down at her feet. They stared into the now quiet and terrified Quinn putting up a small act of bravery and her openly terrified brother Ethan. But he noticed something in the younger Carpenter's eyes.
Quiet anger.
"Together…" Sam added. Her eyes held the same anger but she wasn't like her sister. She wasn't afraid to voice her displeasure and he was sure she would when it came time to torture their soon-be-victims Quinn and Ethan.
And there time was now.
He took out a quarter and told them all heads for Quinn and tails for Ethan. He flipped the coin and placed his hand over it when it landed. He smirked under his mask when he saw the terrified Quinn and Ethan stare at him. He glanced and saw a matching smirk on Sam's face while Tara stayed silent and still… Finally, he removed his hand and stared down… Before playfully pouting under his mask and speaking in a mocking tone…
He told Quinn it looked like she would be an orphan soon…
Her eyes widened and flickered to her brother… Ethan's eyes were filled with tears and he began shaking his head, his voice muffling through the gag but they all knew what he was trying to say… He mockingly asked Sam if she knew what Ethan was trying to say. Playfully, her eyes flickered to the ceiling in thought for a moment.
"I think he's trying to say please… torture me? Yeah, that's it." Sam smiled evilly as Ethan frantically began shaking his head no… He also caught the corners of Tara's lips moving upwards slightly… He chuckled darkly and asked Tara what they should do to Ethan. Sam glanced at him from behind Tara. She knew why he asked her instead. He wanted to know if it was an act for them.
"I-I don't know how…" Tara began quietly. But Sam held her tighter and whispered in her ear.
"We'll help you… First, let's start with something small and work our way up…" Sam glanced at him for approval and he nodded slightly.
He walked toward them and Sam released Tara from her hold. He took her place, placing the knife in her hand, and guided the younger Carpenter sister closer to Ethan. Her hand gripped the blood stained knife. The same knife she used to kill Ethan's father. The same knife Ethan's eyes flicked back and forth from to them.
The same knife they would use to torture him.
They stopped in front of him and his hand wrapped around the hand Tara used to hold the knife. Slowly, he guided her hand and let the blade move closer to Ethan's left hand while he tried to frantically move away. He chuckled darkly and told him he might want to be still or they would make a mess as he lined the blade underneath the fingernail of Ethan's thumb… He glanced to the side and saw Quinn was crying as Sam stood behind her and held her head, forcing her to watch the coming torture… He gave one last look to Ethan with a devilish smirk under his mask and another last look to Tara whose expression was almost unreadable…
But the quiet anger was still there… as their hands moved together and pushed the blade deep underneath his thumbnail.
Ethan screamed while thrashed frantically as blood began to appear, darkening his thumbnail. But that didn't stop him. He moved Tara's hand as if it was his own, cutting his finger further and causing more pain to Ethan. Finally, he moved their hand and the knife away. He glanced at Tara's face.
And smirked evilly when he saw her small smile…
Slowly, he let go of her hand and watched… as she continued to do what they did. To all of the fingers on his left hand. For five minutes, Ethan felt nothing but pain as his movement became more and more frantic. He screamed. He cried. Even a snot bubble left his nose. And Tara made a complete mess of his fingers. Broken or torn nails with blood stained or dripping and several cuts along his fingers.
Disappointing really how easily broken he became when they just started but they still had his sister Quinn. And really, he only cared if Tara would commit. They already knew she was capable of doing what Sam and him could. But they needed to know this wasn't an act.
Her second test.
And now they knew for sure.
Because with each scream. Her eyes brightened. With each cry. Her smile grew. He glanced back at Sam who had a smile of her own. Approval and happiness in her eyes. Contrasted with the horror in Quinn's eyes but she was still holding on. He knew they were going to enjoy breaking her. Finally, Tara stopped and he knew that because all he could hear was Ethan's ragged breath and pathetic whimpers.
"D-did I do good so far?" Tara asked childishly. Like a child wanting to please her parents, she looked at them with wide eyes…
"You did good so far, little sister." Sam said happily.
He nodded his agreement and told her they could either keep torturing him further or get rid of him and move on to his more strong willed sister. He caught Quinn narrowing her eyes at him but he also saw her body shiver in fear. Tara stared at the pathetic whimpering boy who stared back at her with a pleading expression… She only thought for a moment…
"He wanted to play with me… Only fair I play with him." Tara said darkly.
And in an instant, any hope Ethan had left died as his head fell down. Tara stood and walked over to the table filled with various things to torture them with. Her eyes wandered until they stopped… On a yellow hammer. She picked it up and walked back to the pathic boy still looking down. She stopped in front of him and raised the hammer…
Before smashing it down on his right hand.
The sound of bone breaking echoed through the room before Ethan's head shot up with a scream. Before Tara raised the hammer up and brought it down again. And again. And again. And again. The sound of bone being broken and crushed mixed with Ethan's gagged screams. His head rocked back and forth. His face was completely red. But Tara held her expressionless face and continued destroying his right hand.
When she stopped, Ethan still continued to scream for a moment. His right hand was split in two broken pieces with his thumb and index finger separated from his middle, ring, and pinkie fingers. He could see broken bones through the torn flesh and blood dripping down the wooden arm of the chair to the floor beside.
The pale boy hung his head whimpering quietly from his messy left hand and his broken right hand. Sam and him said nothing while Quinn cried and Tara stood in front of her brother. Gently, she cupped Ethan's chin and lifted his head. Her dark brown eyes were bright and her smile was falsely sickeningly sweet.
"What's wrong? You don't want to play with me anymore? You had no problem wanting to play with me before? Oh… I get it. You don't like the toys I've brought. Don't worry, I'll get another one." Tara said with false cheer at the end. She turned around and practically skipped back to the torture table. Her eyes only wandered for a second before they landed on a nail gun… She picked it up and skipped back to Ethan with false giddiness as Ethan's eyes widened with dread…
Weakly, he shook his head… But that didn't stop Tara from aiming the nail gun at his right knee… Weakly, he shook his head left and right more frantically… But screamed anyway when Tara fired the first nail into his knee. A second nail. A third nail. A fourth nail. A fifth nail. A sixth nail- But she stopped when they heard a muffled voice from the pale Ethan…
"Sorry, what was that Ethan?" Tara asked happily. More muffled words. "Ugh, I still can't hear you." She removed the gag and tapped her foot impatiently waiting for him to speak. "What was that now?"
"P-please s-stop…" Ethan said quietly and weakly. His tearful eyes were droopy and his voice was hoarse from the frequent screaming.
"You want me to stop?" Tara asked mockingly with barely contained anger. "You. Want. Me. To. Stop. I've had you sick fucks stalking me. I've had you sick fucks wanting to kill me. I nearly died! More than once! And you want me to stop?! Fuck you…" Tara sneered with narrowed eyes.
But Ethan said nothing.
Not that he had any chance to as Tara aimed the nail gun at his left eye and fired. It happened in an instant. The nail completely destroyed his right eye. But he was still alive. One because he was screaming absolute murder with his sister's muffled screams and two because he was shaking more violently than before.
But Tara didn't stop.
She aimed at his wide and tearful right eye and fired again. The nail completely destroyed his right eye, leaving Ethan blind and still alive. But what surprised him more was somehow, his screaming increased. And like Sam and him, it seemed Tara had enough as she shot one final nail in the center of his head.
Ethan's head shot back as he finally died.
He said nothing. Neither did Sam. And Tara's false happiness was gone. What replaced it was simply loathing for the pathetic boy who thought he would be in control. But he was never going to be. Because they were in control.
Tara, Sam, and him.
What followed was silence.
Until Quinn's muffled screams of anguish filled the room.
But like Sam, like a proud parent, his thoughts were on Tara.
She passed her second test.
I swear this isn't becoming a full fic lmao one more chapter should do it then that'll be the end of this. I mentioned the original idea I had was for the main guy to be innocent while the Carpenter sisters push him to murder, his victims being Mindy and Chad, but changed that to this. I wouldn't mind going two more chapters and including them or even Gale and Kirby but I didn't really plan further than torturing the killers of 6. But if enough people want me to continue, I'll do more. After all, neither Sam or Tara got to wear the costume or do the spooky voice over the phone. And what would bring them closer than doing exactly that together? Anyway, one more chapter left for now. Until then.
