A Flower In The Rain

"ACHOO!" Sebastian sneezed and sniffled groaning over his keyboard.
"Jeez man...are you getting sick or something!?" asked Sam.
"Yeah I think so..." sniffled Sebastian.
They had gathered at Sam's house for band practice...Abigail heaving a heavy sigh over her drumset as Sebastian couldn't seem to keep a melody going for very long without having a sneeze fit.
"Yeah figures you might...What hanging out with Hana in the rain all day~" Sam teased.
"Hana?" A girl with long vilet hair kept up with a bow clip and an almost gothic-lolita type stye dress who went by the name of Abigail blinked curiously, "You mean that new girl who moved into that old cabin in the woods?" she questioned.
"Yeah, that's her." Sam chuckled, "So you heard her name too...apparently she's old man Chester's grandaughter." said Sam, "Have you met her yet?"
"Well...not officially or anything." said Abigail as she set her drum sticks to the side and leaned against the wall, "She does come buy the shop a lot though." she states, "Always passes out flowers she grew...they're real pretty." she hummed, "Still...as nice as it is to see things growing from Old Man Chester's farm again...it still kinda suks you know?" she stated, "I mean...I used to love exploring those old woods by myself~"
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you just asked her." said Sam, "She might even go with you... from the stories Lewis tells us about Little Hana, apparently she likes to do the same thing." Sam chuckled, "So Sebastian...was hanging out with her in a thunder storm worth the head cold~?" Sam teased.
"...Shut up..." Sebastian groaned softly, "I just...bumped into her at the beach, that's all." he stated, "It was a coincidence..."
"Whaaaat!?" Sam laughed, "I'm just saying...Ever since she kicked your ass in Pool, you seem to just be...coincidentally bumping into her, like...a lot."
"No way- Someone ACTUALLY beat Sebastian at Pool!?" Abigail beamed, "Okay- now I HAVE to meet her!"
"I'm honestly surprised you haven't yet." said Sam, "It's not like Pelican Town is all that big..."
"True.." Sebastian sniffed, "But Hana doesn't exactly do the whole socializing thing all that well either..." he chuckled.
"Oh, well then you two must get along swimmingly~" Sam teased.
"Hey- here's an idea!" Abigail beamed, "Why not invite her to hang out with us at the Egg Festival!?"
"What!?" Sebastian coughed.
"yeah! That's a great idea!" Sam beamed.
"No way..." said Sebastian.
"Awww...why not?" Abigail pouted.
"Yeah, I mean really, how bad could it be?" asked Sam, "Like you said, she doesn't really sicialize much right? Well community gatherings like that are a great way to do it."
"Yeah, not to mention I'd finally get to officially meet her~" Abigail smirked, "Snuff out the Competition~"
"You can forget it..." said Sebastian, "Cuz I'm not doing it..."
"Booo..." Abigail pouted with her bottom lip out but that still didn't seem to change Sebastian's mind."
"Fine then..." said Sam with a heavy sigh, "If you're not gonna do it...then..." he grinned, "Then I'm just gonna have to do it for you!" he beamed and began to jet.
"Say what!?" Sebastian, "Hold on- Wait a minute- SAM!"
"Can't hear you Man~" Sam laughed, "I'm already out the door~~!"

Knock knock knock...
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"ACHOO!" Hana sneezed and sniffled heavily rubbing her tired eyes...
"Who on earth could that be...?" she wondered aloud.
It's not like I'm known enough around here for house guests...
She wobbled her way over to the door and slowly opened it up...
"Sam?" she blinked and coughed a bit into he sleeve.
"Yikes..." said Sam, "You got it pretty bad too huh?" Sam chuckled, "Sebstian's sick as a dog too."
"Oh no...I hope he's okay..." she said softly.
After all...it's my fault he's sick to begin with...
"Oh yeah, he'll be fine." Same smiled, "He hangs out in the rain all the time, honestly...this is pretty normal for him." he laughed softly, "What about you, Hana...how are you feeling?"
"Well...I could be doing better...but I'll manage." she sniffed, "Did you make your way over here just to check on me?" she wondered, head tilted a slight in curiosity.
"Well that..." Sam said softly, "And I wanted to ask you something...if you were feeling up to it..."

"Egg festival...? Hana sniffled softly as Sam had finished refilling her cup of Hot tea, having invited him in so they could talk.
"Yeah, the Community liked to host little events like that to kind of keep us together You know?" he said softly, "You're part of the community now so...I figured you deserved to know and join in." he hummed, "So what do you say?" he hummed, "I'm sure Sebastian would like it if you did!"
"Sebastian?" she blinked, "What does he have to do with anything?" there was a fluster on her cheeks...but it was hard to tell if it was the though of Sebastian...
or the fever she was trying to keep down...
So... Sebastian will be there huh?
She thought to herself.
Of course...why not...after all he lives here too...it shouldn't be surprising that he would be part of community events...
Got her~
Sam smirked.
"Great! So we'll see you tomorrow between 9am and 10!" Sam beamed as he bikted out the door, "Don't be late!"
"Hold on a second I didn't say I would actually go- SAM!"
Not that her decline really mattered...Sam was already too far gone to hear it.
What's with that guy?
She thought to herself.
He didn't really give me much of a choice in the matter, did he...
She sighed.
Ahh well...I suppose I better go...after all...it's a community event...and I guess I am part of the Community now too...right?
