Many years ago, on a distant planet, far from Earth, a rising civilization, one that had laid undisturbed for many generations, flourished under the red sky. This planet, Plant, was the home of a highly advanced race called the Tuffle. Large cities, technology unlike any seen before, all created by this one race. But then… An apocalyptic event that would leave the entire race completely eradicated. The Saiyans, beasts from another ill-fated planet, arrived and through sheer brutality, brought a once great race to its end. And to many, this would be the end of their history. But it wasn't. After the destruction of Planet Plant, renamed Planet Vegeta after their ruler, by the hands of the Emperor Frieza, a scientist, in a bid to take over the galaxy by forming an army strong enough to defeat the forces of King Cold, manages to gather samples of the Tuffle. It would take some time, but it would be worth it for his dream of leading his own galactic empire.

Year 760

Within Dr. Myuu's lab, an incomplete amorphous Machine Mutant was floating in a tank, the doctor staring straight at his creation with dissatisfaction. Though the creation had a surprisingly high power level for something with no form, it could not utilize it in its current form. And no matter what, this blob could not take any shape that would even resemble a Tuffle, let alone a soldier.

Myuu: "Tch. A critical failure. A creature that isn't capable of forming is not worth the effort of continuing to experiment with. At least with Project Baby, he is coming around very nicely. In a decade or two, he will become the perfect warrior for my goals. Not even Frieza will be able to stop him."

The doctor turns to the silver white blob in the tank before scoffing. He then calls upon his robots to dispose of the creation, deeming it a failure. As the robots grab the tank, they begin to haul it off to a pod to eject it into outer space, aiming for the nearest star to vaporize the tiny blob creature. However, as the pod begins to make its way to the nearest star, it bumps into an asteroid, shaking the pod and causing the navigation controls to scramble. The pod, rather than crash into a star to end the life of the blob creation, crashes onto the surface of a planet. A planet that sustained some kind of life, given the trees, flora, and fauna - local alien creatures of various shapes and sizes. The tank containing the blob creature cracked open from the crash, releasing the amorphous puddle of goo onto the floor. A large quadruped with thick armor plating-like skin and a large drill on its snout sniffed at the goo. The goo jumped into the mouth of the creature, startling it for a moment before stopping. Strange markings appeared on the body of the creature, lines that trailed down its back with two red slanted rectangles appearing just over the eyes. A glint of sentience appeared in the creature's eyes as it scanned its immediate area. With loud stomps, it turned and left the pod as locals came to investigate, none of them knowing what had happened.

Year 762

Two years had passed since the goo creature that barely passed as a Mutant Tuffle landed on the planet and had taken residence in the body of the armored giant. In those two years, it had made itself often scarce to the locals of the planet. Due to how unnatural it appeared, it would become the talk of legend. Of course, after a while, the goo creature did hop from one body to the next, learning from experience about each creature. From the armored creature, it learned about defensive measures and how armor was useful; from a small critter that was peacefully enjoying a meal in the trees, it learned how to flee and the importance of food and how to store it; from a small prey fish in a river, it learned to swim and the importance of survival; and from a larger predator, it learned the importance of the hunt. Knowledge that, in time, would prove useful. But then, as it slithered around the forests, it sees the destruction of a large village. While no doubt the creature had bore witness to many fights over territory, this large village was by no means an easy thing to topple. Not even its first host would be enough to destroy the village in the magnitude that it had seen. The slithering predator crept into the village, looking around to see bodies of the villagers littering the ground. No signs of life were left… until it came to three odd looking soldiers.

Frieza Soldier A: "Hehe. Man, this planet'll sell for a high price! Seriously, the resources on this rock are amazing!"

Frieza Soldier B: "Yeah. Can't wait for that raise. That'll show that upstart Appule a thing or two!"

Frieza Soldier C: "Tch. Get over yourself. Come on, we got more villages to burn."

The trio flew off, catching the attention of the creature as it watched them fly off. After they had gone, it slithered over to a fresh kill. A young girl roughly in her late teens by this species' age range. Fair skinned with long red hair and a simple loincloth covering her body, though now with a hole pierced through her head. The predator looked at the poor creature with a sense of pity before an idea came to it. The goo creature expelled itself through the mouth of the predator, scaring it away, as it entered the body of the girl. Though difficult, it began to restore the functions of her body, starting with the brain. Regenerating the hole left by those murderers, functionality began to come back. A twitch of the fingers, followed by the body picking itself up. The red hair of the girl turned a silvery white as the familiar markings of past hosts appeared on the girl's face. The girl opened her eyes, revealing black, though not lifeless, eyes. With this new body came a new skill, much like the others before… Speech.

Girl: "...Sp… Sp…ea…k… Sp…eak…"

Though simple, it was a start. But the creature now had a body that, for what it was worth, was more potent. It - she - ran in the direction of the trio from earlier, who were in the middle of decimating another village. As she walked in, the trio turned to her, one of them almost recognizing her.*

Frieza Soldier B: "Hey! Didn't I shoot her in the last place?"

Frieza Soldier C: "Hah! You can't even kill a single runt."

The girl glared at the trio, silent as the one that spoke first approached, holding out his blaster.

Frieza Soldier B: "Ah well! Encore time!"

The soldier fired his blaster, aiming it at the girl's head. The shot misses as the girl ducks down, then darts at the soldier. It happened so quickly, but once the girl got close, the soldier's arm holding the blaster is cut off, blood splattering out of the stump as he screamed.

Frieza Soldier A: "What the hell!? Where'd that speed come from!?"

Frieza Soldier C: "Shut up and kill her!"

The other two started firing at the girl with their own blasters, causing the girl to dodge around them as she jumped from spot to spot. Once she was close enough, she landed on 'C' and grabbed the soldier's arm. She then turned him toward his ally as 'A' started shooting at her direction, effectively killing his teammate as the former had his arms torn off. She then darted at 'A', who was panicking, and grabbed him by the neck.

Girl: "...Why did you kill? Why did you take innocent lives?"

Frieza Soldier A: "Aaaah! P-Please! S-Spare me! I-I won't kill again! I-I promise!"

Girl: "Why did you kill?"

Frieza Soldier A: "We had no choice! L-Lord Frieza wanted more planets to sell to expand his empire! P-Please!"

The girl looked at the alien soldiers before grabbing his head. She then began to squeeze tightly, the soldier begging for her to stop. Before long, his head pops in blood, covering the face of the girl as she drops him. She then turned to the still remaining soldier who fired the first shot.

Girl: "Do you have a ship?"

The soldier looked confused, horrified even as he stared back at the blood covered girl. He then started nodding frantically, hoping she'd spare him.

Frieza Soldier B: "I-In that direction! There's a small ship belonging to the Frieza Force! It's our ride!"

The soldier points to the east. The girl then approaches him… and punches him through the heart, instantly killing him. As she stared toward the east, the thought of flight came to her. She looked down at the soldier that she killed. She kneeled down and placed her hand on his head, her hand beginning to glow as she began to take knowledge, not only of how to fly, but who Frieza was. For reasons unknown to her, she began to remember a similar tyrant, one black spiky hair and monkey tail. One that she remembers dying to while the tyrant assumed his larger form. Taking this knowledge, the girl concluded that Frieza… needed to die. Of what she learned from the soldier, energy control is how she can fly. Seemingly basic, but she'd need to experiment more with this when the time arises. With that, she flies to the ship the soldier mentioned. She steps inside, finding a communicator message had been transmissioned while the goons were away.

Transmission: "Soldiers present in the given sector receiving this transmission, you are to report to Lord Frieza on Planet Namek, coordinates 9045XY. I repeat, soldiers present in the given sector receiving this transmission, you are to report to Lord Frieza on Planet Namek."

The girl looked at the transmission before pushing the coordinates into the autopilot, another thing she took from the soldier's mind. Once the computer registered the coordinates, the ship lifted off. The girl sat on the floor, alone with her thoughts. Meditating, quietly training her mind as she began to think of ways to use her energy beyond flying. Almost like it was an instinct, or perhaps preprogrammed into her, she could almost manipulate her energy in a few ways. She didn't fire any ki blasts, but she did seem pleased with herself. Some time passed, days perhaps, she saw her destination in the distance: Planet Namek. And soon came her confrontation with this tyrant… Frieza.

Author's Note: "Hi. Sorry if this seems just a bit off compared to my usual work. This was mostly a test to see if anyone would be interested in something besides Sonic that I'm fairly into. Will there be more? If this gets enough attention, sure. If not, expect more Sonic related stories. Anyway, thanks for reading."
