Caught Up
Chapter 11
We're couple to be a power couple.
He's going to be famous novelist while i run my successful fashion line. We're still going to have time for a big family.
2 boys and a girl.
Months Later
After house hunting and selling their own homes. Brooke and Lucas were now the proud owners of a house they just purchased.
4 bedroom. 4 bathroom. Fenced in backyard. Pool. Dining area.
Long driveway. 2 car garage.
Brooke bought it but both their names were written down on the papers. This was their dream home. She had more money then she would ever need in this lifetime.
Currently she made more then Lucas but once his writing career took off the way it was meant too. She know things would change.
"Welcome Home Mrs. Scott." Lucas proclaimed. As he carefully placed Brooke down in the entryway.
"Welcome home Mr. Scott." Brooke said. Kissing him gently. As she gazed around.
"We're homeowners. This is everything we wanted on our wish list."
"I just am so ready to get pregnant and start filling up those empty rooms upstairs." Brooke announced.
"Up to date appliances. High end security system. New furniture."
"You want to get pregnant already. We just moved in and only finally finished unpacking."
"I'm surprised you are so eager to get started on that." Lucas admitted.
"We're 24. Married. Happy. Settled. We have the basement for my fashion design. You have you're home office."
"But those bedrooms upstairs are freshly painted and empty."
"I mean unless you aren't ready and we can hold off?" Brooke asked.
"No hesitation at all. I just wanted to be reassured you didn't have a change of heart."
"Having kids and basketball is a natural talent." Lucas stated matter of fact.
"Is that right.? Well we should get upstairs then."
"The shower awaits." Brooke suggested.
Lucas scooped her into his arms.
"We're not going to make it al the way there." Lucas replied.
As he started kissing her.
"Luke!" Brooke replied. Feeling her skin grow hot as he started to undress her.
Awhile Later
Brooke was laid out on their bed covered in sheets with her feet up.
Taking deep breaths. "Think positive thoughts. Be calm. Be relaxed." Brooke proclaimed.
Lucas leaned over and kissed her gently.
"It'll happen. We just need to not focus on it. I can't wait to see how beautiful you are going to be pregnant and what a natural as a mom you'll be." Lucas proclaimed.
Weeks Later
The two have been quietly trying to get pregnant. Not wanting to announce anything until they had news to share.
Brooke left her store earlier then expected she rushed home and called out to Lucas.
He left his home office. To find Brooke in the entryway.
Her face lit up she was practically jumping up and down.
"I'm pregnant!" Brooke announced.
