Fred and George are walking down the dark halls of Grimmauld place trying to find there target for a prank they had been thinking about for a while. There planning came to a stop after they saw Sirius and Harry talking. As they were curious they decided to listen in on what they were saying. So they used their extendable ears.

" Harry you need to be more careful" Sirius says to Harry as an enchanted object had almost hit him.

" I'm fine padfoot" Harry says in response to his over dramatic godfather. This causing both of the twins to freeze and look at each other making sure the other had heard the same thing. Sirius black was padfoot one of the few wizards they admired.

They quickly moved away from the door when the saw their former defense against the dark arts teacher coming their way. As Remus entered the room they could here Sirius yell out to the man.

"Where were you moony" now that was a surprise to both twins as who would have taught their former professor to have been a mischief maker back when he was attending Hogwarts all those years ago. Tho that does explain how he had been able to see all of their pranks coming. Does this mean they will have boring jobs when they are old too or are they getting this all wrong and these me were not actually their idols.

Then they realized that they had given him the marauders map and he didn't even tell them the were staying in the same house two legendary pranksters. Well let's just say they had found their new targets for the prank they had been preparing. In the twins eyes the three of them deserved it for not telling them.

So the twins hurried out of the hall and back to their rooms to make sure nothing went wrong as this was their most important prank as of yet.

the next morning

The twins were whispering quietly between the two of them which was never a good sign but then out of the corner of their eyes they saw their targets swapping their drinks which they had put their new product in with Ron Ginny and Hermione's untainted drinks. They watched as the three of them grew extra ears limbs and eyes. They started laughing as their mother yelled at them even tho there targets weren't even hit.

As they left the kitchen after which they were forced to clean as punishment for their prank even though that one was not even there fault. The saw Harry Sirius and Remus standing by the stairs so they decided to talk to them. As the twins walked over the others heads lifted up to greet them.

" how'd you know " the twins asked together.

" we always know " responded the ex prisoner.

" so you are the marauders "" how could you not tell us Harry"" after us giving you the map and all"" you couldn't even tell us"" that we are in the same house"" as our idols" the twins say alternating between the two of the. Harry winced he is so screwed when they get back to Hogwarts.

" I guess I forgot " he says as he tries to hide the fear in his voice as it threatens to break.

" he forgot can you believe this George"" no I can not Fred"" how could he do this after all we have done"" I know Fred we gave him the map and all"" he is still keeping secrets" the twins say to each other as Harry stands their plotting his escape.

" you did not tell them Harry I bet you didn't even tell them that prongs was you father am I right" Sirius says to his godson who looks ready to run before wrapping an arm around him to prevent an escape. He holds Harry who struggles to get free but stops fighting when the twins ask. " what happened to worm tail"

The room seems to drop in temperature when the traitors childhood nickname was mentioned " he is a traitorous rat who I wish was dead " responded moony with a dangerous tone in his voice that the twins didn't dare question. Harry and Sirius who both had identical looks with cold and dangerous expressions written all over their faces when they thought of the rat.

The twins decided to let the topic drop and ended up asking questions about what the marauders did in school and how the map came to be and both were in shock to find out that the map had been made completely on accident when a few stray spells hit the parchment at the same time.

The twins listened intently as the two older men talked about some of their greatest pranks like when the stuck every thing in Dumbledores office to the ceiling or when they flooded the great hall and transported the giant squid into the recently flooded room. The twins were amazed to find out that they had also broken into the Slytherin common room and painted everything red only to be chased out by a mob of angry students.

The twins also told the two marauders about some of their greatest pranks such as when they dyed the hair of all the professors down at breakfast bright neon colours and the older men were delighted to find out Snape had been one of those who were affected by hair dye potion. Sirius was also delighted to find out that the twins had taken over his former position as beaters on the quidditch team.

As Harry watched the four interact with each other he couldn't help but wonder why he had created a monster that was definitely going to leave their mark on everything that they past and be remembered for centuries as the best pranksters.

Little did Harry know but three would be killed in the next few years and the last would never be the same again.
