"So can I come in?" Jay asks with a smirk and Addi nods as she lets him in. She takes her coffee and the flowers and goes to get a vase, as she reaches up to the top cupboard to get a vase her shirt rises and Jay has a perfect view of her ass. He licks his lips as she turns and raises an eyebrow at him.
"Like the view?" She asks with a smirk.
"Fucking love it." He says as he saunters over to her.
He sits on the bar stool and grabs his own coffee and grabs the bagels and muffins out of the bag and hands Addi her everything bagel along with her fruit explosion muffin.
"You remember." She says, surprised.
"Of course I also remembered how you take your coffee." Jay says, taking a bite of his own bagel.
"Thanks Jay, not only for the breakfast but for not giving up on me." Addi says shyly.
Jay sets his bagel down and wipes his mouth with a napkin, then says "I'm never gonna give up on you Addi or on us. I love you."
Addi sighs then Jay sees tears in her eyes as she says. "I know, Jay, I love you so much. But I'm so damaged, hell, there's barely a night. I don't have nightmares. Last shift a car's gas tank exploded and I reacted poorly and now Bodens making me do mandatory therapy.
Jay gets up off his stool and goes over to her, he cups her checks and wipes away the tears that have fallen, as he says "Addi, that's perfectly normal for just coming back from war. Hell I was the same way. I can't imagine how I would've been if I did three extra tours. But Addi you survived, and I'm so thankful for that. If you need to take things slow, we can. All I know is we owe it to ourselves and our love to try again. It's not going to be easy, but this is what we've always wanted is to be together after we both got out."
Addi knows Jay's right. They do owe it to themselves and to their love. And this is all they ever wanted…
So she leans in and captures his lips with hers. He's taken by surprise but recovers quickly, and kisses her back. They both pour all their love and determination Into that kiss. Jay has one hand in her hair as the other goes under her shirt to squeeze her bare ass thanks to her thong. She moans into the kiss. Jay lifts her up onto the counter, breakfast long forgotten.
Things get heated fast. Addi is about to take off Jay's jacket when there's pounding on her door.
They both groan, as they pull apart.
"I hate interruptions." Jay mumbles. Making addi chuckle.
"Go get the door while I get dressed." Addi says Jay does as he's told, after he fixes his pants and hair that addi had messed up with her hands during their kiss.
There's another loud knock as Jay goes to the door.
He opens it to find Gabby, Sylvie and Stella.
"Your not addison…" Sylvie says making jay snort.
"No I am not." Jay says with a smirk.
Then Sylvie turns to Gabby and Stella and says "did you get the right address?" Gabby and Stella both nod.
Jay chuckles, saying "Yes you got the right address, Addi is just getting dressed."
As he lets the three women inside.
"Getting dressed?" Gabby asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes she was in her pjs when I got here." Jay explains, shrugging his shoulders..
"Why are you here and how do you know addison?" Stella asks with crossed arms.
Jay sighs then explains "Addi and I were in the rangers together. I saw her at Molly's last night and had to rush out cause we got a case, so I decided to bring her breakfast to catch up."
Sylvie notices the flowers still on the countertop next to the vase, and says "and flowers?" All three women look at him with raised eyebrows as Addi comes into the kitchen. "Stop interrogating Jay." She says to the three women who are already her best friends.
The three put their hands up in surrender.
"What are you guys even doing here this early on our day off?" Addi whines.
The three women chuckle at her antics as gabby squeals "we are going baby shopping!"
Addi looks confused as she asks "Whose pregnant?" Stella and Sylvie point to Gabby as she just smiles softly as she rubs her small bump.
"Congrats I'm really happy for you gabby!" Addi says hugging her friend.
"Well I better get going." Jay says
Addi nods, then Gabby pipes up and says "are you taking Addi to the fireman's banquet next Saturday?"
Jay and addi look at each other "I'd love for you to be my date, that is if you're free." She says nervously.
"Of course I'll be your date." Jay says, smiling softly at her.
"Okay, I'll walk you out." Addi says.
Jay nods and follows Addi out her door.
Once outside in the hall, Jay pushes Addi against the door, kissing her hard.
Addi moans into the kiss, when they break apart Jay asks, "Will you go on a date with me tonight?"
Addi doesn't have to think about it because she wants to so badly so she nods as she says "Yea, I'd love to." Jay smiles at her, saying "okay, wear something nice. I'll pick you up at 7pm." Addi nods and goes in for one last kiss which Jay happily gives her. Then Addi says "I'll be ready."
They pull away from each other and Jay heads to his truck.

Addison and the girls go shopping, not only for baby stuff but also for dresses for the banquet and a dress for addison's and Jay's date that night.
They all stopped for lunch at a cafe.
"So spill." Stella says once they have ordered.
"What do you mean?" Addison asks with a raised eyebrow.
"One jay was at your apartment really early. Two you did a crappy job at hiding the hickey on your collarbone, and three he calls you Addi, didn't even know you went by anything besides addison." Gabby explains.
Addison sighs then says, "we were together for five years while we were in the rangers. We got together shortly after we both joined the rangers at the age of 17. Broke up when we were 22." Addi lets a tear slip down her check as she goes to say the next part. "I watched as the humvee he and mouse was in blew up, it was only three months after we broke up and I still loved him. Hell I still do 8 years later. Do you know how hard it is to watch the person you love in immense danger and you can't get to them quick enough? It's the worst feeling in the world." Addi says.
Gabby thinks about the time Matt got trapped in the warehouse fire and said goodbye to her over the radio. It truly is the worst feeling.
Stella thinks about when she watched as the boat sank and Kelly was inside and she couldn't do anything about it.
Sylvia thinks about how many times Antonio has been shot..
The three women nod and say in unison "I've been there." This gets a raised eyebrow from Addi, which makes Gabby, Sylvie and Stella tell her their stories.
"Wow I'm sorry you all had to go through that."
"So are you guys together?" Sylvia asks
Addi shake her head 'no' as she says "No, I told him I'm to damaged, and everyone leaves me one way or another. Which is true.."
"Well take your own experience along with all of ours and realize that tomorrow is not promised and you need to either be with Jay and live happily ever after or move on and let him go. But I saw how much you love him today, and I personally think you need to put all the fear you have away, and move forward. Dont be stuck in the past, no good can come from it." Stella explained.
"Shes right, you need to realize we all have our own issues and traumas that's what makes us human, but Jay loves you even with all of your baggage, and trust me when you find the person that does that then, they are a keeper." Gabby says softly taking Addisons hand in hers.
"Thanks guys. I appreciate all the advice and wisdom." Addison says smiling wetly.
They quickly y change the topic. They eat their lunch then go back to Addison where they are helping her get ready for her date that night.
A 3 and a half hours later Addison is ready with curly hair, Smokey eyeshadow and red lips. She's dressed in a tight green cocktail dress.it has one sholderder and it's absolutely stunning on her. The dress is paired with black stilettos and a black clutch. Along with a single diamond necklace and matching dangly earrings.
"You look absolutely gorgeous girl." Stella and gabby says in unison.
"You look beautiful Addison." Sylvia says.
"Thanks guys, I appreciate everything, I've never had girlfriends before, honestly my best friends has always been Jay and mouse. Thank you for being there for me." Addi explained, fiddling with her charm bracelet that Jay had gotten her their last Christmas together. There's a army helmet on it and a 22 for how old she was at the time and a heart that says I love you. She could never bring herself to add charms, it was her and jays thing.
"Well you're stuck with us!" Stella says hugging her.
"That you are." Gabby adds and Sylvia nods her agreement. Then they all have a group hug.
Gabby says "we better go it's 10 to 7 and Jay will be here soon. Have fun girl."
"Thanks I will." Addison says smiling at her friends.
Stella, gabby and Sylvia leave and they meet up with Jay.
Stella and Sylvia head to Stella's jeep as Gabby calls out to them. "I'll be right there." They nod as Gabby looks at Jay and says "treat her right, she deserves to be happy. And I think you do make her happy but I know she's scared." Gabby says patting Jay on the shoulder, then leaves a stunned Jay as she heads to Stella's jeep.
Jay goes and knocks on Addis' door.
When she opens it his jaw drops. She looks absolutely stunning.
"Wow, Addi, you look breathtaking." Jay tells her and hands her another bouquet of tulips. She chuckles as she says "thanks Jay, you look amazing too. Also you're gonna fill my apartment with flowers." They both chuckle as Jay leans in and kisses her softly.
"Well you deserve to be spoiled." He says making her blush..
"Shall we go?" Jay asks
