At the UN base, Marines were either clearing away debris, fixing radios or radio stations and tending any wounded. Luckily, the base of 50,000 Marines were unharmed. However, the city that is not too far from the base was in bad condition. Helicopters and Ospreys were sent to help any people trapped on top of buildings or search for survivors. Ground vehicles were coming in or out of the base either picking up wounded or heading to the city.
The Marines worked tirelessly to help those affected by the earthquake. Medical teams were set up to treat the injured and emergency supplies were distributed to those in need. The UN base became a hub of activity, with Marines from all the countries working together to provide aid.
As the weeks passed, news reports began to emerge about the appearance of the new continents. Scientists were baffled and governments around the world were scrambling to figure out what had happened. The UN launched an investigation and sent teams to explore the new land masses.
Meanwhile, the Marines at the UN base continued to work around the clock to aid the people affected by the earthquake. They were exhausted, but determined to help in any way they could. The camaraderie and teamwork between the Marines from different countries was inspiring, and many friendships were formed during this trying time.
Finally, the radios were fixed, and communication was up and running. Lieutenant General William Cole of the USMC quickly ordered reinforcements for assistance. He was also told to send in a company of Marines for a joint operation that's happening later in 2 weeks. William decided that he should send the 235th Papa Company of the 21st UN Marines. Anthony, David, Shino, Mari, and Igor are in this company as well.
William quickly video chatted with the officers of the 235th Papa Company to give them orders for the joint operation. He explained that the mission is to secure a village in a conflict zone that has been under attack by rebels for the past few weeks. The village is vital for the locals as it provides food and shelter.
The officers were informed that they will be working with the same coalition of the other countries' Marines such as Russia, China, Ukraine, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Korea, and Japan. They were also told that the operation will be led by a German Marine Lieutenant Colonel named Johann Bauer.
Anthony, David, Shino, Mari, and Igor were all excited to participate in the joint operation, but they knew it was going to be a tough one. They quickly got to work preparing their gear and weapons for the mission.
The next two weeks were spent training and familiarizing themselves with the other Marines they will be working with. They had to learn each other's tactics, communication methods, and chain of command to ensure smooth cooperation during the operation.
Finally, the day of the joint operation arrived. The 235th Papa Company boarded a C-5 Galaxy plane that will transport them to the village. They were joined by their coalition partners, and together they headed to the conflict zone.
Later, as they arrived at the outskirts of the village, they saw smoke and heard gunfire in the distance. The mission was about to begin, and the Marines were ready for whatever lay ahead.
When they arrived at the village, they saw rebels were wearing white outfits and wearing masks.
When Anthony saw them, he was a little shocked and confused. "Are...those the White Fang?" He muttered quietly, but every else heard him.
He shook his head and told David to watch out for any oncoming fire. David nodded his head as he drove the JLTV faster. Anthony then told Igor to make sure to fire in short bursts. Igor responded by pulling the charging handle back loading a round in the M2 Browning machine gun.
He then turned to Shino and told her to fix her bayonet in her rifle in case she had to fight in close combat. Then he turned to Mari and told her to check for any wounded both civilians and non-civilians. Both responded with a quick "Yes Staff Sergeant!"
As they approached the village, they could see that it was in complete chaos. Buildings were on fire, and people were running in all directions, some of them wounded. The sound of gunfire echoed through the streets, and explosions could be heard in the distance.
As they entered the village, the Marines immediately split into their assigned tasks. David drove the JLTV through the streets, swerving to avoid debris and gunfire. Anthony scanned the area, looking for any threats, while Igor staffed the machine gun on top of the JLTV, firing short bursts at any enemy targets.
Shino and Mari got out of the JLTV and started moving through the streets, checking for wounded civilians, and providing first aid where needed. Shino also had her bayonet fixed to her rifle, ready to use it in close combat if necessary.
As they moved deeper into the village, they encountered increased resistance from the White Fang rebels. They were well-armed and well-organized, but the Marines were better trained and better equipped. Slowly but surely, they were able to push the rebels back, clearing out buildings and securing the area.
After several hours of intense fighting, the Marines were able to secure the village and neutralize the rebel threat. David drove the JLTV back to the UN base, while Anthony, Shino, Mari, and Igor tended to any wounded Marines and civilians.
It was a hard-fought victory, but the Marines had done their job. They had saved countless lives and put an end to the White Fang's reign of terror in the village.
While the marines tended the wounded, some noticed that half of the villagers had either animal ears, tails, arms, legs, or other traits. Anthony and many others recognize them as Faunus and a Japanese Marine second Lieutenant by the name of Yoji Itami was quick to report this to command.
As Mari was tending a Chinese marine who was hit in the chest several times, but luckily it hit his vest only received small cuts and bruises when he got shot. Mari accounted that Dust bullets does not penetrate the skin of Earthlings unless up close.
However, she and many of the other Medics noticed that their weapons were stronger and could go right through aura. She just sighed and told the Chinese private to never get shot like that again. But was glad that her fellow marines were still alive.
As the Marines continued to tend to the wounded and secure the area, Itami contacted their base to inform them of the situation. He reported that the village was attacked by White Fang and Rebel forces, some of whom appeared to be Faunus, and that the Marines were providing medical aid to both civilians and military personnel.
He also mentioned that they needed additional supplies and support to assist with the wounded and to secure the area.
Meanwhile, David and Igor were keeping watch for any incoming threats. They had set up a perimeter around the village and were scanning the surrounding areas for any signs of enemy activity.
Shino, on the other hand, was patrolling the area with her rifle and bayonet at the ready. She was keeping an eye out for any potential threats, especially those that may be hiding or sneaking around.
After a few hours, additional support arrived in the form of more Marines, medical supplies, and equipment. The wounded were quickly evacuated and transported to the nearest medical facility for further treatment. The area was secured, and the rebel forces were neutralized.
As the Marines were getting ready to leave the village, Anthony turned to his team and said, "We did a good job here today, but we need to stay alert. Who knows what else is out there waiting for us?" The others nodded in agreement, knowing that their job was far from over.
A week later, the 235th Papa Company is being deployed via a C-5 Galaxy cargo plane to Menagerie.
Most of the Marines like Anthony's team were excited to see the homeland of the Faunus while others were focused on their objective which was to establish a positive and friendly contact with the locals.
Which to the Americans it sounds a Hearts and Minds mission. To some it sounds like a simple mission, but then they remembered that they're be air dropped to the Continental Island which is near Japan.
As they were on their way to Menagerie, Anthony's team spent their time preparing and going over their objectives. David was going over the maps of the island, while Shino was checking the status of her equipment. Mari was packing her medical supplies and Igor was inspecting the PKM Light Machine Gun.
Lieutenant Colonel Johann Bauer was going over the details of the mission with Lieutenant General William Cole over the radio.
As they approached Menagerie, they could see the beautiful beaches and the clear blue waters. But they also saw the ruins of some of the buildings that were damaged during the earthquake. They also saw the diverse types of Faunus, some had cat ears, some had rabbit ears, some had dog tails, and some had wings.
Once they parachuted and landed, they were greeted by the locals who were friendly and welcoming. They were also introduced to the leader of the Menagerie, Ghira Belladonna. Ghira welcomed them and told them that they were grateful for the help that the UN was providing.
235th Papa Company quickly got to work, helping to rebuild the damaged buildings, and assisting the locals with any other needs they had. They also set up a medical clinic to treat the injured and sick. They made sure to collaborate with the locals and to show them that they were there to help and not to take over.
As they worked, they noticed that the relationship between the humans and the Faunus was strained. The humans were wary of the Faunus and the Faunus were somewhat resentful of the humans. 235th Papa Company knew that their mission was not just to help rebuild, but also to bridge the gap between the two groups.
Over the next few days, 235th Papa Company worked hard to establish trust between the humans and the Faunus. They participated in community events and even joined in a friendly game of either beach volleyball, soccer, or football.
Slowly but surely, they began to see progress. The locals were becoming more accepting of each other and tensions were easing.
They had not only helped rebuild Menagerie, but they had also made a positive impact on the lives of the locals. They knew that their work was not done, but they had taken the first step towards a better future.
The company's next mission on the island was to clear out all the Grimm and Grimm Nest on the Island.
All 250 Marines in 235th Papa Company were gearing up. All of them were ordered to fix their bayonets on their rifles. Some even switch from their assault rifles to shotguns. Machine gunners like Igor were ordered to be the vanguard for every team they are on. Anthony and David switch their M27 Assault Rifles to Benelli M4 Tactical semiautomatic shotguns for the mission.
As the company made their way through the thick forest and desert, they encountered several types of Grimm, including Beowolves, Ursai, and Deathstalkers. The Marines were highly trained, skilled, and they worked together flawlessly to take down the Grimm. The sound of gunfire echoed through the forest and desert as the Marines fought the beasts.
As they moved deeper into the area, they came across a large clearing where they spotted a massive Grimm.
It was unlike any Grimm they had ever seen before, and it was clear that it was the source of the infestation on the island. The Marines knew that this was their biggest challenge yet, and they prepared themselves for a tough fight.
The battle was intense, and it lasted for hours. The Grimm was incredibly powerful and was able to withstand a lot of damage. However, the Marines were determined to take it down, and they fought with everything they had. Finally, after a long and grueling battle, the Grimm was defeated.
The Marines celebrated their victory, but they knew that their work was not yet done. They still had to clear out the remaining Grimm and secure the island.
The next few days were spent patrolling the island, eliminating any remaining Grimm, and setting up a base camp. The Marines were able to establish a positive relationship with the Faunus on the island, and they worked together to create a safe and secure environment.
After a week of fighting off the Grimm, the island was now Grimm free. Making most of the inhabitable areas on the island free to house the people. Ghira Belladonna invited fifty marines for a festival in their victory. This includes Anthony, David, Shino, Mari, and Igor
The Marines were excited to be invited to the festival and experience the Faunus culture firsthand. Anthony, David, Shino, Mari, and Igor were ready to enjoy themselves after a week of intense fighting.
The festival was held in a large clearing in the middle of the island, with various food stalls and game booths set up for everyone to enjoy.
As they walked around the festival, the Marines were greeted warmly by the Faunus and welcomed with open arms. They enjoyed the delicious food and tried their hand at the various games, with some even winning prizes.
Mari was particularly interested in the diverse types of food and asked a lot of questions about the ingredients and cooking techniques.
As night fell, the festival became even livelier with music and dancing. The Marines were encouraged to join in and were shown some traditional Faunus dances.
Anthony and David were a bit hesitant at first, but Shino and Mari convinced them to join in.
Igor, on the other hand, was having a blast and showed off some of his own moves.
Overall, the Marines had a wonderful time at the festival and were grateful for the warm hospitality shown to them by the Faunus. They left the island with a newfound respect and appreciation for their allies in the fight against the Grimm.
As they were on the plane, some of the Marines showed both pictures they had taken on their phones, prizes from the festival and other souvenirs.
David was smiling at a picture of him and a bulldog Faunus child and mother. He still remembers the child saying that when they grow up, they want to be a Marine.
Mari liked how some kids accidentally called her mom due to her motherly personality and Shino remembers how some even called Kuribayashi-sensei due to her teaching some people her martial arts.
Anthony and Igor still remember that a lot of people trying and teaching them some of their cultural dishes.
It sounds like the Marines had an exciting time at the festival and made some meaningful connections with the locals. It is always great to see people from diverse cultures coming together and learning from each other.
It is always important to have a strong motivation and sense of purpose in one's work, especially in fields like the military where the stakes are high. To see that the Marines of the 235th Papa Company are so dedicated to their mission and the people they protect.
