They told me all of my cages were mental
So I got wasted like all my potential.
I've been having a hard time adjusting
I have a lot of regrets about that.
When Lucas left the bathroom. He had his towel wrapped around him. He didn't expect to still find Brooke there.
"I thought you were going to the store to open up and everything.?" Lucas asked.
"I will be. After brunch with Haley and Rachel. Did i interrupt you're time to privately call Peyton.?"
"I need to know what's going on Lucas? Right now." Brooke exclaimed.
"I didn't want to involve you in this. But i don't have a choice now so. Lindsey dropped me as a client and she doesn't think i have the potential or talent to create anymore novels then i already have."
"I'm easily forgettable. She's one of the top editors in the business."
"She took me on when i got nothing but rejection letters."
"For her to lay this out for me says. Maybe i'm not meant to be a writer at all. Maybe i built up this confidence and belief in myself for everyone else."
"I didn't want to involve you because you are having a hard time with the pregnancy as it is." Lucas explained.
"Peyton has contacts she can send to me. Artists that want their stories told and then there's Peyton. She wants to write a story of her own and wants my help." Lucas added in.
