Kaiba Corporation was a tall glass building that loomed in the center of Domino City. At night, the skyscraper would give off a warm glow as the sun would finally set and allow the night to blanket the city with silver stars.
During the day, the skyscraper was no different than those in other cities, but no matter the time of day or night, the view one got from the CEO's office - a rarely seen view - was amazing, allowing one to see all the way to Tokyo!
Seto Kaiba got this view nearly daily but rarely took the view in, his attention was placed on the work at his desk, making it that much easier to turn his back to such an awesome view of the world.
Even when a life changing event happened, Seto still didn't take the time to enjoy the view. He sat at his desk, running a new program, under his desk, his boot covered foot rocked a car seat back and forth as a small tiny human sucked on her pink and yellow pacifier and slept.
The quiet allowed Seto work, allowed Mokuba to attend school, Mickey often took care of Seta, but some mornings, they could just tell that she wouldn't stop fussing and screaming until she was with Seto all day; those were the days where he'd rock her with his foot as he got work done. A scream erupted from beneath his desk, he kept his fingers above the keys as he sighed, before pushing back from his desk and looking under.
"Oh, what's wrong?" Cooed Seto, as he watched his daughter arch her back and let out a louder scream. He gathered her into his arms, making sure her pacifier was clipped onto her onesie. "Oh, what's wrong, princess?"
Seto turned Seta so she was screaming into his shoulder. He patted her diaper covered butt as she scrunched in his arms. "What's the matter? Daddy's here. Daddy's got you. Everything's okay, Seta. Sssh…sssh…."
She was still squealing into his shoulder, but her cries were no longer screams. "There we go! There we go! I think someone just wanted daddy to hold them, huh? Someone didn't want daddy finishing his project, huh? Nope! It has to be all about Seta, all the time!" Seto cooed. Seta started to scream again. He glanced at the clock. "Silly daddy! It's time for your bottle."
Seto Kaiba walked across the room, carrying Seta in the cradle position now as he tore open the mini fridge he had in his office. He reached into the chilled chambers and grabbed her pastel pink Funny Bunny bottle.
Seeing the damned rabbit always made him cringe - that rabbit was beloved by Pegasus - if Yugi hadn't had saved Seto and Mokuba, they would have never had the chance to be in Seta's life.
But he understood why his in-laws had bought these bottles with Funny Bunny on them, what kid didn't like brightly colored cartoons? As long as it wasn't Seto's Blue Eyes White Dragon, she could have anything she wanted when it came to cartoons.
He stuck the nipple in her mouth and watched as she sucked the cold liquid. Seta's eyes were wide and looking around her daddy's office, her eyes taking in the sky just outside of the massive floor to ceiling windows as a plane passed by.
"I'm right here, I got you," cooed Seto as he could feel his office's fluorescent lights glaring down upon the two of them, suddenly too bright. "No more tears. Aren't you just so precious?"
Seta began to fuss against her bottle. "Oh, oh, is someone all full?" Cooed Seto, not wanting his office to fill with screams again. He placed the bottle back in the fridge and he placed her against his shoulder and began to pat her back. Seto paced in his office, trying to burp her.
