~
It was a glorious morning, quiet and peaceful. The sun was a brilliant hue of gold, the silhouettes of Pokèmon dancing in its glory. Fletchlings sang their melodious songs, Lechonk searched vigorously for food, and many other Pokèmon relaxed in the peaceful and serene atmosphere the sun exuded.
"NARUTO UZUMAKI, YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!" Yet it was all ruined with a simple roar of righteous feminine fury!
The Fletchlings stopped their frolicking, immediately flying away, terrified for their life's. The Lechonk stopped moving, their fight or flight instincts overriding any intelligent thought. The Pokèmon world just outside the house of the yell sat in anticipation and fear, waiting for the greatest fear the Pokèmon had ever seen to reveal itself. What could have made her so angry so early?
Scrambling with a laugh, Naruto and Chimchar began running full force away from his mother's room, an empty bucket in his hands. "Hahaha! That was so much fun, we need to do that more!" Naruto yelled to the Chimchar sprinting with him.
The Chimchar could only look back in terror when his greatest fear peaked out of her doorway, eyes of madness staring back at them both. He looked at his trainer in fear, knowing he was oblivious to the danger he was truly in. He began to resign himself to his fate of terrible training that awaited them both when the Ninetales jumped into view.
Fear won out logic and consequences as he began to dodge the tails that tried to catch him. Just as a tail was about to wrap around his ankle, he was able to slip out and run off, scott free.
"No, Chimchar, help me!" Naruto yelled, bound by the Ninetales's tails. Not daring to look back at his trainer, the small monkey kept running.
Annoyance brewed in Naruto, which was soon overtaken by fear when he heard the calm voice of his mother say, "There you are, Naruto. I was worried you had escaped."
Daring to glance over his shoulder, the boy turned as white as paper when he saw the smiling face of his mother. She was covered in blotches of orange paint, as well as a purple aura, and Naruto swore he saw an Oni behind her.
"Damn you, Chimchar!" The Pokèmon heard his trainer yell. But he wasn't paying attention to that, no, no. He didn't have to deal with that woman anymore! He could prank freely, no consequences attached!
He giggled as he leaped over a sleeping pig-like Pokèmon and climbed all over the small trees, odd spider Pokèmon encased in silk balls freaking out over the sudden arrival of the odd chimp.
The pink nose of a far off tree sniffs the air, the smell of smoke invading its senses. Bleary eye slowly open, watching the chaos unfolding in front of them with disinterest. The eyes belongs to a Lechonk, a stout Pokémon resembling a hog. Its body is almost entirely grayish black, except for the brown colorations on its face and ears, and the yellow growths under its eyes that resemble teardrops. Its ears are droopy with yellow insides, and they partially cover its eyes.
It has a triangular pink snout with two huge oval nostrils as well as stubby feet ending in pink hooves. Its tail is short and curled.
The Lechonk waited a few moments before curling back up and going to sleep, unbothered by the commotion.
The falling spider Pokèmon were Tarountula, a lime-green arachnid Pokémon whose body is wrapped in a ball of white threads that it secretes from its rear. Its face has white patterns that flank its two eyes on either side, as well as two pairs of protrusions resembling chelicerae and pedipalps, which hides a tiny mouth on the bottom of its head. It has eight spindly legs tipped with a dark green color on the ends.
Several more Tarountula were knocked off their trees, disturbing the sleeping Lechonk under said trees. The flying Fletchlings panicked as an orange blur shot past them, boisterous laughter ringing in their ears. A single Hoppip almost fainted when it felt something grab onto its hind legs.
Chimchar laughed in joy, feeling as free as the Wind. He dropped onto a Scatterbug, a grey caterpillar Pokèmon with a band of white fur going around its neck, who was knocked out by the action.
A flock of Fletchlings tried to attack him when he began to run up a slope, but he jumped towards them, flames encasing him as his speed increased tenfold.
Many of the Fletchlings were surprised and panicked at his attack, trying to dodge the fiery blur. But alas, it was for not. A dozen Fletchlings fell from the sky, the small monkey a silhouette above the rest.
All of the Fletchlings' eyes collectively widened before they were crushed beneath a wheel of fire. Chimchar landed with a huff before hitting his chest in victory, thoroughly scaring the other Pokèmon.
The monkey laughed in joy, unaware that he was being watched or the far more dangerous thing.
He was completely lost.

She could do this! She could wait!
. . .
'Maybe if everything wasn't so BOOOORING!' A girl thought childishly to herself.
'I just have to be patient for our new neighbors to come down and introduce themselves. That's what mom said to do. Just have to be patient. They'll come down!' She encouraged herself.
An orange blur from up the hill caught her attention. 'Is that them?!' She thought happily until she saw it was a regular Pokèmon. 'Oh…' She thought in slight disappointment until she realized she didn't recognize it.
"Wait, I don't recognize that Pokèmon," the girl muttered to herself. "Must be from the neighbors. But wait, is it doing all the way over here? Probably better keep track of it."
Following it over to the entrance of Poco Path, she giggled as she watched it play. The small monkey jumped from rock to tree to trail, terrorizing the surrounding Pokèmon with its presence.
'Must be strong if it's able to fling itself like that. I've got to get into a battle with it!' The gal thought in anticipation. 'However…' she thought, narrowing her eyes. 'It's obviously had past training. While it's probably a part of its genetics to act like this, its stances and forms are like martial artists. They are far too fluid for a regular Pokèmon, no matter their intelligence.'
Slowly approaching the chimp-like Pokèmon, she realized just how truly clueless she was of what it was. Its fur is primarily a shade of orange, although its face, outer ears, underbelly, hands, and feet are light yellow. Its ears are large in comparison to its head and have red insides.
The small ape also has red markings around its eyes, as well as two pointed teeth in its upper jaw, a swirl-like symbol on its chest, and five fingers on its hands with three toes on its feet. It has a swirly crest of hair on its head. Its rear has a small, round, red patch that is usually obscured by flames produced by burning gas in its stomach.
Her eyes widened in surprise when the burning meteor of an attack crashed into the Fletchlings. It was exciting! Such a powerful wild- no, probably not wild- Pokèmon! The perfect thing for her to battle!
The tiny monkey banged its chest in victory, what would be a tiny cry, a thunderous roar to her ear. The thought of such a difficult fight lit her eye aflame with determination, until her mind wandered back to the topic of what the Pokèmon was.
"What are you?" She wondered aloud, pointing her Pokèdex at the Pokèmon.
[Chimchar, Chimp Pokèmon. Its fiery rear end is fueled by gas made in its belly. Even rain can't extinguish the fire.] Her Pokèdex stated. [Not native to the Paldean region]
The last part made her raise her eyebrow, pieces putting themselves together in her mind.
When she looked back up, she was caught off guard when she saw the Chimchar staring right back at her, in the tree just across from her.
~
Chimchar could only stare as a young girl of moderately tall stature looked at her Pokèdex after scanning him. She was wearing the player's school uniform outfit that changes color depending on which game version she is in. The girl was also wearing black leggings, a pair of red/white sneakers, and a black/red wrist glove.
She also has a green hair streak, as well as black ponytail hair, orange eyes, and several freckles above her nose.
The Chimchar could only stare as she waved at him, a megawatt smile plastered on her face. "Buenas! Are you the new neighbor's Pokèmon?" She spoke to him. "I'm Nemona! You must be one of the Pokèmon of my new neighbors, right?"
The Chimchar snorted, sweat dropping at the talkative girl in front of him, before his belly grumbled. Looking around, he expected to find some food. However, he soon realized the complete lack of it.
Sure, there were the pigs and tarantulas, but he liked sweet things, like candy and fruit! Fruit grew off of trees, right?
"Oye! Don't ignore me, I'm trying to help you!"
An idea formed in his head as he jumped towards the girl, thinking she probably had food.
"Oh, you wanna fight, yeah?" Nemona asked, shaking Chimchar up. He did not like the fight that lit her eyes. "Well, I've been egging for one for a while now! Show me what you've got!"
She grabbed a Pokèball at her hip and threw it… upwards. "Huh? Where'd the Pokèball- ahh!"
The Pokèball opened, a bright flash and spike of energy lancing out toward the small monkey. The energy piled onto itself, a short, quadrupedal search Pokémon with a long snout and tail, building in front of his eyes.
The light released itself from the body, which is shown to be mostly light brown with the exception of black stripes crossing over and under its legs and its pink underbelly. It has a black stripe on its snout in front of its eyes and black covering the tip of its tail. Its eyes resemble shaded binoculars and are shrouded in a black membrane all around their front.
Its long snout is tipped by two protruding nostrils, and its mouth comprises the bottom half. Its feet are flat and contain three sharp, black claws. They are attached to stubby legs on its sides.
Wincing slightly, the girl began to give a courageous smile, calling, "Alright, Sandie, let's go!"
~Chimchar vs. Sandile~
The Chimchar began running in a zigzag towards the Sandile, knowing the danger of a battle without his commander to plan. He did, however, have ideas.
" Sandile, use Sand Tomb!"
Conjuring a sphere of shifting sands, Sandile slapped his tail against it, firing the attack directly at the monkey, who easily flipped away, dodging the attack.
Nemona's eyes widened when she saw the Chimchar's flames begin to encase its body. She knew the move was Flame Charge, the signature charge of the move beginning, and she knew exactly how to counter it.
"Sandile, Endure the hit and strike back with Counter!" Nemona commanded.
Tackling the small croc, Chimchar was surprised to see it was still conscious, eyes squinting at him. This is why it completely caught him off guard when the Sandile's tail slammed into his torso, throwing him a distance straight into the ground. Several Pokèmon ran quickly, not wanting to face the wrath of the Monkey.
Both combatants hit the ground with a large crash, kicking up dust, blocking Nemona's vision. What she did see was that her Sandile was gravely hurt and down for the count. "Shoot, Sandile, Return!" She cried, pressing the button on Sandile's Pokèball.
The small croc immediately turned into red light, returning to the ball in an arc. "Okay, Tinkatuff, it's up to you!" She called, throwing the Pokèball directly to the ground.
Bouncing off the ground, the signature streak of light shot into the sky, blinding the Chimchar to where his opponent would be. " Tinkatuff, Knock em' down with a Brutal Swing!"
The monkey's eyes immediately widened hearing the words, jumping away from the new dust explosion, a pink humanoid search Pokémon revealing itself. A large head and arms and short, stumpy toeless feet with light pink circles underneath. Its arms have three fingers each, and it has steel plates on its hips that resemble outturned pockets.
Its head has light pink circles on its cheeks, silver eyes, and a mouth with square teeth-like growths on the upper and lower lips. It has thin eyebrows or eyelashes above its eyes that give it a perpetually angered expression. On top of its head is a white growth resembling hair tied into a ponytail, with a light pink zigzag pattern on the rim where the growth meets the head.
A large, gray, crude yet sturdy hammer sits in the Pokèmon's hand, with loose metal plates for the hammerhead. Grabbing the long handle with both hands, the Pokèmon awaited the orders of her trainer.
Intaking a sharp breath, the Chimchar's eyes sharpened, knowing the danger he was in. He knew he only had one chance of getting out of this situation.
Climbing up the nearest tree, the Chimchar momentarily disappeared, before appearing atop the tree.
Nemona furrowed her brow, watching the small ape make a hand sign with his fingers, a plus symbol with both his right and left index and middle finger. The Chimchar closed his eyes and focused and was suddenly covered in poof of smoke.
