The sun was high, shining down on the grass of the park. The beautiful scene outside was in stark contrast to that which was going on inside the Midoriya household, as the mother had just found out something awful about her husband. Hisashi Midoriya had recently been discovered to be one of, if not the greatest villains of all time, All for One. He had lied to Inko, saying he had a fire breathing quirk, but the truth was far from that. "You monster!" Inko screamed, while Izuku, the son in this unfortunate situation, was huddled in a corner crying his eyes out. Hisashi All for One then used some sort of strength quirk and hit Inko right through a wall, and on to the street. Many people nearby screamed in surprise, then began to rush over to Inko to see if she was ok, but before they got all the way there, they saw who they knew as Hisashi floating above the rubble, then he landed next to her and put his hand on her head. He then disappeared, at a speed only All Might could comprehend, but Izuku managed to catch a good look at him before he disappeared from sight. His face was full of not hate, but some sick sort of joy, his face was twisted into a disgusting smile. Izuku felt something in his chest, but didn't know what it was.

Izuku was terrified. He sat next to his best friend Katsuki Bakugou, who was trying to comfort him but miserably failing. "...Look on the bright side, once we become heroes, we'll kick his butt!". This proceeded to make him cry harder, "Kacchan, you know I'm quirkless…". Katsuki froze for a second, before thinking of something to say. "You're just a little late, don't worry, you'll get yours soon.". Whether this was true or not he was not sure, but it might get him through this moment. This seemed to make him lighten up a little, "You really think so?" Izuku said between sobs. "Yeah" He replied after a short pause. Just then, a doctor entered the room and began to speak, "Hey you two, I have some good and bad news, the first is that your mother appears to be fine, and will make a full recovery, the bad is that there appears to be no trace of her quirk, this has only been seen a few times before, and that was roughly 3 or 4 years ago.". Though he was still sniffling, Izuku had time to pull out his notebook and look at the section on villains of the past. There were none written down to be able to remove quirks from people, except one, All for One, but surely he was lying about being him. Though the doctor was curious to where he got the book from, he decided to take a peek at the notes, and was very surprised. "You sure you don't have a quirk, kid? These notes are more detailed than I think I can write!". Izuku seemed a little surprised before the doctor asked if he had notes on his mom, which said he didn't because they were notes about pro/support heroes and villains. "Ok, well I think it's time you two head home, do you have a mom or dad there to take care of you?". Katsuki flinched, and Izuku's eyes began to water, "Dad was who did this." After hearing that, he began to apologise profusely, but then asked to see his dad's ID. "His ID was fake, and he lied about who he was. I think his villain name was 'All for One' or something, but surely someone so evil wouldn't want anything to do with my family." The doctor's face then darkened. How does he know about him? "Is this your biological father, Midoriya?" He asked hesitantly. "Mhm, bu-". He was quickly interrupted by the doctor, "We need to take another test for your quirk, immediately."

Izuku was then led to a room for quirk testing, but this time when the doctor went to get tools, he pulled out different ones than he remembered last time. After taking the test, the result came up on the screen. 'Positive- Quirk: Mutation of a discovered quirk 'All for One'.' The details then began to appear as he scrolled down a little. 'This is similar to quirk 'All for One' but unlike said quirk, this one does not appear to take the quirk from the person, but gives it to the user without removing it from the other, similar to a Copy quirk, but there is no time limit on how long he can use it, meaning the user could theoretically stockpile quirks over their life without repercussion.' This caused a small explosion to go off in the room, and they looked over at Katsuki. "See! I told you that you had one, and it's so powerful!" Katsuki screamed in Izuku's ear. "Use mine, use mine!". After Katsuki had stopped and he could uncover his ears, he replied with some excitement "Ok, but remember to tell me how to use it, so I don't blow anything up". It was natural, but Izuku just looked at him and felt something in his chest, 'just like what happened when… nevermind' He thought, but stopped before he started crying again. "Wow, I actually think I don't need you to tell me!" He said before making small explosions in his hand. "UPDATING…" said the computer before displaying the description but with an added part saying that it came with an instinctual understanding of how to use it. "Woah, now we can definitely become heroes, especially you…" He said with a slight tinge of jealousy, before going back to admiring his friend's new abilities. The doctor then spoke up, "I'm incredibly glad that you two are becoming heroes, with the potential you two are showing, you will be incredible heroes, maybe even better than All Might if you train enough!". The two boys' eyes shone with happiness, "THANK YOU!" They both said this simultaneously, then asked if they could go to see their mom, to which the doctor replied that they could, and that she'd likely be conscious due to this being one of the most esteemed hospitals and having some of the best healers in the world there.

"MOM!" He shouted, barely restraining himself from jumping on her "IZU!". The two began talking to each other, both very happy. Izuku was going to wait on telling his mom about his quirk, but the doctor had other plans. "Your son has just now been tested positively for a quirk, and it is one of the strongest I think I've ever seen.". He felt comfortable saying this, because Katsuki was outside and couldn't hear, he really didn't want to upset a kid. "Wow! What is it, telekinesis, mind reading?" Inko asked, getting increasingly excited. "Though you may not like it, his quirk follows more after his father, but it is much less 'villainous' as some may describe it". Her face dropped a little, but she was still happy for him, and asked how it worked. He gave a summary of the quirk, similar to the computer's and as she heard that it doesn't remove other people's quirks, she smiled. "Ok, well that's your mother healed, I told you we were fast." The two Midoriyas immediately got up and hugged each other, then thanked the staff and went home with Katsuki.
