authors note : Emotional chapter ahead.
Something told me to run
You know me its all or none.
Little voices whispering.
That i should go. This should end.
Why had Lucas never told her his editor was his ex girlfriend?
The question arise and lingered as Brooke placed the laptop down. Trying to calm herself. But as time went on nothing was working. If anything it made her go only more into her head.
She stared at herself in the mirror.
"He will never choose you." Victoria's voice echoed.
Brooke's hands shaking. She gazed around their bedroom.
"Why are you using my laptop? Brooke where are you still here.?" Lucas questioned. Entering their bedroom.
Brooke glared at him. "Lindsey is you're ex girlfriend and i find out from you're email instead of you. Why is that.?" She asked.
Lucas let out a frustrated sigh. "She doesn't matter. She isn't apart of this anymore. You would ovrreact and get insecure."
"You can't handle that i had a life when we were apart."
"You get clingy and stick to me like you are nothing without me."
"That's alot of pressure. You wouldn't want to be so honest."
"But there is the truth. Lindsey is my ancient history. I told her that. What more do you want.?" Lucas questioned.
Brooke's eyes went wide. "I want you to understand and know that my feelings and fears are valid. I come in third place. If it isn't Peyton lurking around. Its Lindsey claiming you. And you not denying what she asked."
"Loving you changed me and is bringing forward our daughter."
"I thought me giving you my heart and soul mattered to you."
"Or you were just settling for what you could have instead of what you truly wanted.?" Brooke questioned.
"I stayed married to you. If you don't trust me. That's not my problem. I can't make up for you're parents lack of love and security."
"You're broken beyond repair."
"You're the same insecure little girl that will suck the life out of anyone who shows you time and affection."
"Its sad and pathetic." Lucas exclaimed.
Brooke turned from him. Throwing her wedding ring to the floor.
"I should of never come back here." Brooke replied.
As she quickly packed a bag. Grabbed her car keys. Left the home and started to drive.
