What if Ayanokoji always has his scary eyes and dark aura around him. Also he's in Class A cause why not? Author is quite lazy and busy so the updates won't be consistent.

3. The Childhood Friend I Never Met

It has been one week since I joined the school, things have been going quite normally I've been having lunch with my usual group consisting of Hashimoto, Nishi, Motodoi and Kamuro, while at first she complained we managed to bring her with us. No new member has joined the Ayanokoji faction, Currently I'm having lunch with Sakayanagi.

She invited me and I accepted as I was interested in what she might want to say, we are now sitting on an idle table in the corner of the cafeteria. We took our order and I bought a Ice cream along with my food to which Sakayanagi giggled which was quite cute.

As we finished eating she started talking.

"It's been quite long Ayanokoji kun, 8 years 1 month and 6 days to be exact." she said to me.

"Do I know you?"

I asked her, to which she giggled which was cute except for the fact that I was in the White room during the time she has just mentioned. I don't recall ever meeting her, she doesn't look like someone from the white room, Is this some kind of prank?

Moreover this is the first Loli I've ever seen...

"No, perhaps our friendship wasn't a mutual one at that time."

I rack my brain for answers and come up with a possibility which I wish isn't true, It's possible that she's one of the people who has seen me from behind the glass. If that's true then she can expose my secrets. No, even if she was an investors daughter she would know better than spreading the secrets of white room. As I was thinking she continued speaking.

"White room."

Those 2 words almost shattered my composure but I immediately regained it as it was one of the many possibilities I had thought of.

"Don't worry I wont tell anyone about you."she said to me, although I don't think I'll be able to trust her words that easily.

"Won't it be easier for you if you did?"I asked her.

"I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, I'm the perfect person to bury the false genius." false genius huh, Bury me? If she can actually Bury me that would mean that 'that man' failed to make me the perfect human he wanted to. His loss is my victory, but that also means that I can't go easy on her.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Is it about how I know?"She asked me thinking that was what I wanted to know.

"No I don't care about that."she looked a bit surprised hearing it but showed me a smug smile as she speaks up.

"Go ahead."

"Can you bury me?"

As soon as those words left my mouth her eyes widened and were filled with excitement and she laughed creepily as if a child who had received the gift he wanted.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, I know precisely how capable you are."

"Also I see you took away my pawn from me huh?" She said, I understood what she meant. I noticed her glancing over to Kamuro from time to time, but before she could get her I took action.

"She was supposed to be my arms and legs, there aren't many girls who are as fit physically as her. Now I have to settle for someone else, How troublesome." she sighed as she completed speaking.

I got up from my seat she thought that I will leave but I got closer to her, bend a little to meet her sight and spoke while caressing her cheek softy in a rather seductive tone.

"Don't worry, your arms and legs aren't the only things I will take from you. My goal is your heart after all."

I winked at her due to which her mind went blank, her face flushed red, knowing that she won't be speaking up for some time I walked away, passing Kito who looked amused to see his Leader like that.

I left the cafeteria and went back to the class, Hashimoto asked me about what Sakayanagi wanted to talk to me about but I shrugged him off by saying it was something personnel after some time Sakayanagi came back to the the class with Kito, she glanced at me but as soon as our eyes met she averted her gaze and blushed. If it was anyone else he might not have been able to handle this much cuteness. Hashimoto didn't seem to miss this interaction and teased me whenever he got the chance.

Classes ended and things went by normally, I went to the convenience store where I met the black haired annoying girl, who had ruined my precious moment on the first day of school. Ignoring her whole existence I walked around the store buying all the stuff I wanted to, which was mostly Ice-Creams, I also bought some cheese, Pizza sauce and chicken salami, as I was planning on making a pizza tonight, Maybe I'll invite my friends too. As I was wondering about the new friends I had made the stupid annoying girl yet again ruined my precious moment.

"Y-you!" she shouted at me apparently till annoyed about what happened that day, wait, why the hell is she the one annoyed, I was the one who's precious moments keep on getting destroyed by her and she's the one annoyed for some reason.

I Ignored her once again and left the convenience store after paying for the stuff I had bought, but someone else had different ideas. As soon as I had turned around from the corner and started eating my ice cream chan, the annoying girl came running towards me and stabbed me in my hand with a compass.

"Who said you can ignore me just like that!" She shouted at me and glared at me.

Fortunately I was used to pain so Ice cream chan was still alive but now looks like I need to teach someone a lesson.

I turned around and gave her the deadliest of the glares I've ever given, her face got pale, her legs trembled, I licked my ice cream as I move towards her. I pushed her to the ground with my left hand.

"Who would have taken responsibility if something would've happened to Ice cream Chan." I said in my cold voice.

She looked furious, scared and confused at the same time as she was trying to get up I pushed her down once again.

She kept on trying to get up and I kept pushing her down all to irritate her more.

After 5 minutes as she was trying yet again I grabbed her neck with my left hand, ate my Ice cream with my right and lifted her in the air. She digs her nails in my hand, flapped around her legs but it was of no use. A couple minutes later she just gave up and started crying. At this point I felt it is enough punishment... For now.

And I let her go. She ran away towards the dorms while sobbing.

What an annoying girl.

I went back to my room and tried to make the Pizza, I called over Kamuro who surprisingly enough accepted without me blackmailing her, maybe she was interested in pizza as well.

I also called over the others and they all came over.

We tried to make some pizza's and had a small party for no reason whatsoever. Is this youth? Will I miss these moments after I go back to that place. I leave these thoughts and enjoy the time with my friends. After all these years that man was still unable to remove human emotions from me, because right now I feel truly happy.

I felt a smile form on my face. I looked around to see all 3 girls blushing and Hashimoto grinning.

"Leader If you do that in class we might just gain all the girls." he said while taking a bite off the pizza.

"Well looks like Ayanokoji kun can also have fun that's great!" said Nishi.

We kept on talking about trivial stuff and they helped me to clean up. After some time they left.

"I smiled today huh?"

That's something that I never knew I was capable of doing.

Looks like I'm enjoying my freedom after all. I wonder is this because I never had it that I am enjoying it even more? That doesn't matter though. As long as I'm happy I think it's fine either way right, I haven't given up on winning and I probably never will, but these happy moments from time to time, currently that's all I crave for.

I take a long shower and go back to sleep. I have a long journey ahead, I'll make sure I enjoy it.

4. Clubs And The SCP

Kiyo POV

It was just another normal day at school, I did everything according to my usual routine which was getting ready for school, buying ice cream, eating ice cream, walking to school while eating ice cream, looking outside the window while thinking about ice cream. pretty normal stuff. It has been over a week now since I joined the school. I usually have lunch with my friends and then enjoy the rest of my time either having a chat with internet sensei or trying new things, Hashimoto and I went to a game store a few days back and we collectively bought a console along with 2 controllers and few games so we can enjoy playing them from time to time.

I was staring outside the window looking at a bird sitting on a tree hen an announcement was made.

"A club fair will be held during lunch today students interested can visit gymnasium 1."

Hmm clubs...

"So what do you think about joining a club?" Hashimoto asked me.

"I haven't given it much thought but I might join the student council." I replied

"That's weird I thought you would think of it as a waste of time and effort." Kamuro who was listening to our conversation said.

"Honestly speaking, I'm only after any knowledge I might gain regarding the school and the S-System, moreover if I get an influential position then it might be an opportunity to prove my superiority to my classmates." I had no interest in changing anything regarding the school or the way it works, but the information could be crucial. The best way to gain said information would be to join the student council.

"Will you two join any clubs?" I asked them.

"I'm thinking of joining the art club." Kamuro responded.

"That's a surprise you never told us that you like stuff like that." Said Hashimoto.

"Well you never asked, what about you?"

"I won't be joining any clubs I'll just spend my time stal- *cough* *cough* playing on the console we bought." He almost said stalking didn't he.

"Well Kamuro, you can join me right?" I asked her, I didn't really want to go alone, also I don't want to miss a chance to hang out with a beautiful girl.

"Hmm sure."

Classes went by and now I was walking along with Kamuro, we reached the gymnasium and saw that there were around 100 students attending the fair, most were freshmen.

A short girl with purple hair tied into 2 buns went up to the stage and introduced herself as the student council secretory.

Then one by one the representatives of different clubs came and introduced themselves, in the end a boy with grey hair and square glasses stood up on the stage and introduced himself as the student council president.

I then accompanied Kamuro as she wanted to join the art club. After she did that we walked back to the class and talked a bit, slowly but surely she has gotten closer to me. By the end of the year Kamuro might just become my perfect tool.

After classes ended I walked back to my dorm eating the ice cream I had just bought, as eating this much ice cream is quite bad for my health I had decided to make an even intense training schedule. I would do this at night as I would usually hang out with my friends before that. I went out and felt a little thirsty so thought of buying some juice from the vending machine. I noticed that someone was coming down from the elevator and noticed that it was the annoying girl from earlier dressed in the school uniform, I quickly hid behind the vending machine as she was one if the last people I want to talk to, no actually she was the last person I would like to talk to, excluding that man.

She turned around the corner and I followed her, I guess I felt curious.

"Suzune, I didn't think you would follow me till here."

Suzune huh, that's a nice name.

"Nii-San, I'm not the failure I was back then."

Hmm this can be a good way to get a pawn in Class-D, if I record the conversation I might be able to blackmail her later on.

"I heard you were placed in Class D. I suppose nothing has really changed in the last 3 years. You've always been fixed on following me, and as a result you don't notice your own flaws. Choosing to come to this school was a mistake."

Class D? Looks like classes are alloted on the basis of students merit as well, this is some interesting information I just received. But looks like his sister isn't able to understand this.

{So in the LN this event occurs after the first month but I'm doing it before it so that Kiyo can get this information of students being alloted according to 'Merit' earlier.}

While I was lost in my thoughts they continued arguing, now he had grabbed her by her wrist and pushed her against the wall.

He was about to hit her when I decided to come out of my hiding and called him out.

"Senpai"

He looked surprised as he's been found out, while the girl was now even more scared, maybe she's remembering the punishment I gave her that day.

"You were about to hit her, even if she is annoying, disrespectful, violent, almost hurt ice cream Chan, you should know that the floor here is concrete and it can end up with her having a serious injury." I said drinking my juice, hmm mangoes are yummy.

He ignored all my comments about her sister's personality and said.

"Eavesdropping isn't an admirable quality."

"Domestic violence doesn't look good either you know. Especially for the student council president of an elite school." I finished my juice as I said it and threw it behind me, it landed inside the dustbin I saw earlier.

I take out my phone and show the video I recorded earlier. Even if he didn't hurt her his intentions were quite visible and will be enough to ruin his reputation if not punish him.

He glared at me but I can see some sweat in his head. He ran towards me and tried to hit me but I dodge while putting my phone back in my pocket, he aimed a kick at my head but I barely dodge it. He looked a bit surprised after watching me predict his moves and dodging them easily. He gasped and extended his hand. I grabbed it and as expected he tried to push me to the ground but I pull him towards me and punch him in the gut causing him to fall to the ground in pain.

"N-Nii San!"

"Now Senpai let's make a deal, you give me 5 Million points and I delete this video, you don't and this goes to the school." I extend my hand to him which he takes and stands up.

He adjusted his spectacles with his middle finger and takes out his phone. Then he types a contract, according to the contract he will pay me 5 million points for me deleting this video, I'm not allowed to keep any other copy of this video. I sign it and he transfers me the points and I delete the video.

"You have made an interesting friend Suzune, what's your name?" he asks me.

"Ayanokoji kiyotaka."

His eyes widened for a second before he regained his calm composure.

"I see, you're definitely a interesting student you're the first one ever to be able to ace all subjects in the entrance examination. I hope you don't dissapoint me." he said and left in the shadows.

Hmm looks like he has a good impression of me, I was planning on joining the Student Council anyways, this works in my favor.

Well it will make it easier for me to join the student council, also it looks like the Student Council President has a lot of power to know the entrance exam scores of the students.

As I had finished my business here, which was buying juice. I was going back towards my room, but a certain annoying girl had some different plans.

"What did you and Nii-San talk about?"

When I was 'dealing' with her Nii San he asked her to go away and she was far enough to not be able to eavesdrop on our conversation.

"None of your business."

I kept walking but she grabbed my arm.

"Answer my question."

I was already frustrated and unlike the last time I dealt with her ice cream San was not with me. I turned around and glared at her as I spoke.

"Are you retarded or did you not hear me when I said that it was. None. Of. Your. Fucking. Business."

She was shaking but managed to gather enough strength to talk again.

"Y-you t-threatened him D-didn't you? I-I will c-complain to the t-teacher."

This girl is getting more and more annoying, if there wasn't a camera right above my head I would've punished her right now.

"As far as I'm concerned it was just a deal between me and the student council president, if you are so much interested in knowing it's contents go ask him, don't waste any more of my time. If you understand get out of my sight you stuck up bitch." as I said this she ran away towards the dorms, I bought another juice from the vending machine to calm me down before heading back myself.

5. Making Of A Pawn

Kiyo POV

It was now the end of the third week of the first month of the school, classes were going by normally and everyone was paying attention to what is being taught. Meanwhile I was staring outside the window.

I had already learned all the topics the teacher is currently teaching us. I found it quite boring.

Mashima sensei entered the class holding a bunch of papers.

"Today we will be having a pop quiz, it won't effect your academic record. Take one test and pass the others to the person behind you."

Hmm the quiz won't be effecting our academic records huh?

I scanned through the questions and noticed that the questions were of a very low level which even a middle scholar could easily solve. However the last three questions were almost impossible to solve for a 1st year high school student.

I decided not to think too much about it and started writing the answers.

After completing the test I just continued staring outside the window. Remembering the thing that happened yesterday.

Flashback

I'm currently on my way towards the student council office. I was told to submit my form to the secretery today. For some reason they had told me that the interview for the student council will be held the next month. Is this because they want to test wether or not we were able to control our class.

As I arrived 10 minutes before the appointed time I waited outside the door leaning against the wall. Thinking about trivial things.

"Hello there."

My thoughts were interrupted by a cheerful voice coming from the side. It was a beautiful girl with long pink hair and massive proportions.

"Hi." I replied to her trying not to think about her body too much.

"Are you also here to give the application for the student council?" She asked me with a smile.

She looked like a girl who will steal the hearts of all the boys in her class if not grade. It won't be wrong to say that she was one of the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

"Yes, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka from Class A, Nice to meet you umm..."I said to her asking her name.

She was a bit scared to hear my cold voice and forced a smile as she introduced herself, although she wasn't able to look me in the eyes.

"I-Ichinose Honami of Class B nice to meet you too Ayanokoji kun." She tried her best to answer normally but I didn't miss the stutter in the start.

I simply nod and enter the room as it was now the appointed time.

I held the door open for her as she walked in.

We both handed our applications to Tachibana senpai and left the office.

I was about to leave but Ichinose called me out before I could.

"Ayanokoji kun, is it fine if we can exchange contact information?" she asked with a smile but asi turn around she gulped in fear. I was not that surprised though, she might've looked into my eyes.

"I-It's f-fine if you don't w-want to." she said still scared of me.

"No it's fine, I'm happy to have the contact information of a cute girl." I said trying my best to put out a calm tone, looks like it worked to some extent as she held out her phone and wasn't shaking anymore.

We exchanged contact information with her when I accidentally saw that she had over 2 Million private points in her phone.

She didn't notice this and I also didn't show any visible changes in my expression and we bid each other farewell as we walk on our own path.

Did she use a fraudulent method to gain that many points? But her personality says otherwise.

Maybe she's acting as a bank for her class? Well she is the leader of the class so it's possible.

Not thinking about it anymore I decided to head towards the convenience store to buy the new flavor of ice cream they just got.

Yay.

Flashback end.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as Mashima sensei began to collect the answer sheets from the beginning.

I gave him mine and the classes ended for today.

Timeskip

Today's the first day of the new month, I woke up and checked that the points I have received were 94,000.

So for Class A, 6000 Points will be deducted huh?

The points are more than satisfactory, I wonder how many points the other classes received.

I stood up from my bed, got ready and walked to the school. On my way I met with Hashimoto, He told me that Class B have received 67,000 Points, Class C had received 49,000 points and Class D haven't received any points at all.

Now there are 2 probabilities.

1. Class D lost all of their points in the first month itself.

2. Class D hadn't received their points due to a problem occurring in the school system.

My guess was on the first probability as the other classes had received their points. I'm surprised that none of the 40 students in their class was able to figure out the fact that they won't receive points this month. There's the possibility that no one listened to the person who had their doubts. I'm kind of disappointed, I had higher hopes from the students studying in an elite school.

Well I guess there's no point thinking about it too much.

Having Hashimoto on my side is a huge advantage as he's a guy who is closely associated with people from all the classes, he is easily able to strike conversation and hide in a group without being suspicious.

At the end of the month the Ayanokoji faction still consists of the 5 members, not very good but better than I expected.

As all students had settled in the class a few minutes later Mashima sensei came in holding a sheet of paper.

"Before we start does anyone have any questions."

Katsuragi raised his hand and Mashima sensei nodded his head asking him to speak up.

"We have received 94,000 points this month. Can you tell us on what basis has the school deducted our points?" He said.

While I had an idea about the criteria It was still the best to hear it straight up from sensei's mouth to be sure.

"I will explain you that in a moment, are there any other questions?"

Seeing that no one else has any questions he began to explain us about how the school judges the students on the base of merit and us in Class A have been considered Elites, while the students in class D have been considered defectives. He also told us that if we all come to school on time and don't talk or use our cell phones in the class we won't get our class points deducted.

He also told us about the midterms which we will have to give in a few weeks, for passing the midterms alone we can receive up to 100 Class Points.

"These are the results for the recent pop quiz, I'm impressed with the results. Even if this was the result for the midterms none of you would have to drop out." He said as he held up the sheet of the results.

Hmm looks like I won't have to be worried about any of my classmates failing the midterms, even that green haired idiot was able to score quite above the passing grade.

"S-Sensei what do you mean by drop out."

"I meant exactly what I said, in this school, even if you fail in any subject you will be expelled."

Mashima sensei then began teaching and the classes went by normally.

Timeskip

Nothing much has happened in the past few weeks, The behaviour of my classmates remained the same. I had asked Hashimoto to get me information regarding the other classes, how they function and their leader/leaders.

He gave me a detailed explanation of all 3 classes.

Apparently Class B consists of friendly people, lead by Ichinose Honami, the girl I had met outside the student council office. Their class isn't too much behind ours in academics but only few students are physically gifted.

Class C is led by a tyrant named Ryuuen Kakeru, he has gained control over the class by violence and rules over them. Their class is far behind Class A and Class B when considering academics but their class consists of majority of physically fit students in the grade.

Class D has no main leader. The three major leading figures of their class are :

A boy named Hirata Yousuke, he's especially popular among girls and is in the soccer club. Hashimoto said something about him having a harem. Sounds like a cool bike, I decided to ask him about it later.

There's a girl named Karuizawa Kei, apparently she is the leader of the girls and is dating Hirata. She is uncooperative and shows apparent hatred to majority of the boys of the class except Hirata.

Then there is Kushida Kikyo, the girl I met on the bus. She has the largest social network in the school after Ichinose.

I asked him to keep an eye on Ryuuen and Kushida.

Ryuuen because he might try and do something weird to cause trouble for our class and Kushida because she can be a great pawn due to the trust her classmates have in her and her large social network.

I had started spending some time in the library lately reading books and passing time as I've had no opportunities to take action against the other classes.

I made a friend named Shiina Hiyori in the library and we read books together from time to time.

Whilst we don't talk about our class too much she did confirmed that Ryuuen is leading her class.

She also told me that there was some resistance by some of her classmates but Ryuuen made them submit to him by violent methods.

Apparently she herself keeps out of the class issues.

She hasn't made a single friend in her class and I'm currently the only one outside of her class whom she can consider her friend.

Although she doesn't really mind it.

She looks quite enthusiastic about books.

Still, she isn't someone whom I'll rely on for information regarding Class C as Ryuuen probably won't discuss important issues with her or the class openly.

So for now, she'll be one of the few people who I consider only as friend and not a tool.

After completing the book I had taken from the shelf I return it into its place and start going back to my dorm.

I was walking when I noticed the figure of a girl disappearing towards the roof.

Being the curious person I am I follow her quietly and peek through the door leading to the roof to see that it's Kushida.

What's she doing here at this time? Is she here to meet her boyfriend? If that's the case then it might not be the best for me to stay here.

I was about to turn around and leave when I heard a voice from the rooftop.

"Ahh so annoying."

Hm? This was different from her cheerful tone, is she frustrated?

"Who do you think you are, going around trying to help those idiots. Damn bitch why don't you just die Horikita."

Horikita? So she's talking about that annoying girl. I can understand her frustration. If I had to deal with that girl everyday I'd rather chose to go back to white room.

But still, her reaction seems to be a bit too much. I took out my phone and started recording this for insurance.

Kushida kicked on the railing as she let's out her frustration and voices out her thoughts.

She looks like she's done.

I should probably leave now, if she catches me it might lead to something weird.

I turn around and accidentally kick the door harder than I thought making a loud sound.

Kushida turned around and looks towards me with a surprised expression.

"W-who's there?"

I decide that there's no point in hiding myself anymore and come out.

"It's Ayanokoji, I was going back from the library when I heard a voice coming from here so I decided to check it out."

She walked towards me with a sharp glare.

"D-Did you hear?"

"Will you believe me if I say I didn't?"

"I see, i-if you tell anyone about it it won't be good for you."

"How so?"

"I'll tell everyone that you raped me."

"That'll be a false accusation."

"Don't worry it won't be false."

She took my hand and placed it on her breast and pushed it against it.

"Your Fingerprints are on my clothes now, if you tell anyone about this incident then I'll hand them to the police. You understand." she said to me while keeping my hand pressed on her breast.

As she let my hand go I grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and lifted her up in the air.

"That's considering that I'll allow you to do that. I wonder how a dead body will walk its way to the police." I say to her in my cold voice and push her down to the ground.

"Wh-What are y-you talking a-about?" She said scared and on the verge of tears.

I slowly walk to where I just threw her and get on my knee.

"I said I'll kill you before you do anything." I whisper in her ear.

"T-there are s-security camera's Y-you won't get a-away." Even though she was scared for her life she managed to say this thinking that I'll fall back.

"Hmm well that's true."

I held her chin up using ky hand and make her meet my eyes.

"You said you'll tell everyone I raped you right? Why don't I make that lie a truth?"as these words left my mouth she started crying, scared she moved backwards trying to crawl away from me.

I grabbed her back and pushed her against the wall.

I slowly placed my hand on her thighs and start moving up under her skirt.

"P-Please don't." she pleaded weakly.

I place my other hand on her cheeks and caress them slowly. There wasn't any love or lust in my actions, it was all an act of the devil.

She finally gave up to her fate and kept on crying holding her head low.

I take my hand off her thighs and lift her chin up and make her face me once again.

"From today to the day we graduate you'll be my pawn, you'll do as I say, if you don't." I take out my phone and play the conversation of her threatening me. "I'll show this to everyone."

She meekly nodded.

Not saying anything else I leave her in this condition and make my way to the convenience store.

Why?

To buy ice cream of course.

I'll update once every week from now on so that I can focus on all ky fics as I haven't updated some for over a month now ಥ‿ಥ

6. Joining The Student Council

Kiyo POV

It has been a week since the incident with Kushida, I contacted her with an anonymous account and also sent her the Audio file I had recorded, she probably won't think of betraying me at least for now.

I asked her to tell me about everything important that happens in her class, the information she told me was similar to what Hashimoto had told me. Now that I have acquired a spy in Class D, I don't need to worry about them being a problem.

Class C is going to be our biggest threat, Hashimoto found out that Ryuuen has been making his classmates run over the school looking for security camera's and blind spots. Looks like he's going to do a trick of some kind. I told the members of my faction that if a Class C student call them out to someplace secluded then contact me immediately.

Today's also the day I'll get to know whether my application for the student council will be accepted or not, apparently Katsuragi also had applied for the student council. So far its me, Ichinose and Katsuragi.

During lunch break an announcement was made calling us 3 to the student council office.

I arrive in front of the office along with Katsuragi and enter the room, Ichinose was already standing inside. On his desk sat the Student Council President- Manabu Horikita. Beside him stood the Student Council secretary and on another desk was sitting the Vice president, Nagumo Miyabi.

According to what Hashimoto told me Nagumo has a great amount of influence on the majority of 2nd years. I'd rather not make an enemy out of him. As much as I believe that I can beat him both academically and physically, his influence on the second years is a problem I'd rather not deal with.

All 3 of us greeted the members of the Student Council. Nagumo looked at me for a second and then continued staring at Ichinose's thighs. He smiled creepily but it seems like Ichinose hadn't noticed this or decided to ignore it.

"Now that you all are here I'll inform you that out of you three only one application has been accepted." As the president said those words Ichinose looked a bit nervous for a second before re-composing herself. Katsuragi didn't change his expression and stood there waiting for the president to tell them the results.

"That is of Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, you'll be the first year joining the student council as the secretary, I hope you live up to my expectations." As President said those words the other two standing beside me both had a defeated look. I just gave the president a nod.

"Now you all can leave and Ayanokoji come here after classes have ended." I nodded at him once again and started to walk out.

After this Katsuragi and Ichinose asked why their applications were rejected but the President shut them down by simply saying "I evaluated you both lower than Ayanokoji and there aren't any other position in the student council for you both."

He said that there are no other positions in the Student Council for them. Does that mean that there is another position but he didn't found any of them capable for it? I decided to ask him about this on a later date.

As I left the room with Katsuragi and Ichinose they both congratulated me for being accepted. They both looked a bit disappointed in themselves. Katsuragi didn't question as to why I was evaluated above him.

After we walked back in the class I went towards my friends who were sitting around my table. Hashimoto asked me how it went and I just gave him a thumbs up. They also congratulated me and we chatted about trivial things while having lunch.

After Katsuragi had told his followers about how he was rejected and I was accepted some of them glared at me, I just looked back at them shutting them down. My scary aura is more useful than I had thought.

After classes ended I went to the Student Council Office and greeted the President who nodded at me before turning towards Tachibana senpai. "Tachibana, please help him get started." He said to his secretary who gave him a nod and motioned me to come along with her to a desk which had my name tag on it. It was right beside the desk of Tachibana senpai and faced the desk of Vice President Nagumo who was staring at me from across the room. Looks like he wanted Ichinose to be on the Student Council.

I decided to ignore him as Tachibana Senpai was now scolding me as I spaced out during her explanation.

Although when I looked in her eyes she gulped in fear and started explaining once again, I was told that there will be meetings occasionally and it's compulsory for all members to attend them.

Looks like as long as I complete the work I have been given I'm allowed to leave the office early. Most of the work was to check the complaints from students.

As there wasn't any work for me today I left the Office and walked back towards the dorms. The rest of my day was pretty uneventful. I tried to make some new dishes, I took the recipe from Internet chan.

It has been quite an uneventful weeks, I decided to try and enjoy my life as much as possible as it won't remain this uneventful later on. These past few weeks I had spent most of my time either doing the work I get from the Student Council or teaching my friends. While neither of these 2 tasks are time consuming or hard their both necessary.

If I don't do the work from the student council I might get kicked out and if I teach my friends they will be more useful to me.

Hashimoto told me that he saw Ryuuen enter the special annex with his lackey's. He said that he was looking around probably for camera's. Looks like Ryuuen's planning something sketchy. I sigh internally hoping he doesn't target any of my friends.

Cause if he does, I'll have to deal with him personally.

In 2 days our midterms will occur, with the way things have been going so far I'm confident that unless a disaster or attack from anther class occurs there won't be anyone failing in our class.

I was sitting in the library reading a mystery novel, sitting beside me was Hiyori who was also immersed in her own book. Sometimes Hiyori would get so immersed in reading that I would have to remind her that the library is closing, her embarrassed reactions would be quite innocent and cute to watch which would even give my heart a soothing feeling.

From last week the library would be filled with students, this unusual case was due to library being a good spot for holding study groups. Thinking about study groups I remembered a incident which took place in the library a few days ago.

Flashback

I was sitting on a table with Hiyori by my side as we read our books in silence. The library was filled with students looks like they're here to study.

On a table sat a red haired guy, Hashimoto told me that he is Sudo Ken from Class D, he has a short fuse and once Ryuuen and his gang had a small commotion with him.

Along with him was a short guy with brown hair, another guy with grey hair Kushida and Horikita.

They were apparently holding a study group. There was also a study group which consisted of some Class C students.

I also had met Ichinose when I arrived, looks like she's also holding a study group for her class. Maybe I should also help my friends out with study...

I was brought out of my thoughts as a student from Class C started to make fun of Sudo and his classmates and about how they're not even studying the right topics.

This was definitely weird. The midterms should be the same for all 4 classes, atleast the topics coming in them should be. Did the school make different exam papers for different classes? While that was a possibility it would be more probable that one of the two classes git the wrong topics.

If that was the case then it will cause problems for the Class which receiver the wrong topics.

Neither Class D or Class C has too many academically gifted students, in short expulsion of multiple students might occur.

I decided to confirm that our class has received the right topics so I checked with Hiyori and found out that Class C has the same topics as Class A, I then went over to Ichinose and told her about the situation.

She happily complied with my request and showed me the topics they have received and it was the same as the ones we have.

Looks like Class D is the odd one out huh.

Well that ain't my problem.

I decided to return to my seat after thanking Ichinose and continued reading my book.

But it seems like Ichinose had other intentions. She went to the Class D table and asked them if they would like her to help them with their studies.

The 3 boys were fawning over her body which I found disgusting. But the annoying girl accused her of trying to spy on her Class and refused the help.

Ichinose decided to return over to her friends with a sad smile. They told her that it wasn't her fault and tried to cheer her up.

The Guys from Class D left the library after arguing with Horikita.

Looks like that Sudo really has a hot head. He managed to lash out on two different people in the 30 minutes he had spent in the library.

Hashimoto is quite reliable. I'll reward him with a ice cream later.

Now that I think about it, Ryuuen might've noticed this...

Nah maybe I'm just thinking too much.

"Are you fine Ayanokoji kun?" Hiyori asked me, looks like I spaced out for quite long.

"Yeah, let's leave now the library is about to close." I told her and went to the librarian to borrow a book as Hiyori gave me her angelic smile.

Flashback ends.

"I think I'll go now Hiyori." I said closing my book and preparing to leave the library.

"Bye-Bye Ayanokoji kun." Hiyori said with a smile. I'm surprised she responded even though she was so immersed in her book.

As I was heading back towards the dorms I saw Sudo heading inside the Special Annex building.

Is this what I think it is? I have a feeling that Ryuuen is making his move.

If I end up finding some evidence against either party I might be able to find out more about the school as well as deal damage to their classes.

I hid behind a corner and took a recording of what happened there.

While due to the distance it wasn't able to get the Audio I was able to get evidence against the Class C students.

A Class C student had launched the first punch and Sudo beat up the 3 students after that.

I waited for a while before heading out to make sure that no one knows that I was here, I also sent the video to Hashimoto and messaged him to not take any action or show it to anyone to which he replied with a thumbs up emoji.

With this I'm more or less confident in my theory of what Ryuuens's plan is.

I've been quite the lucky guy lately.

The incident with Kushida, selected in the Student Council and now being able to witness and gain proof in this case.

I decided to wait until this case is brought up in the school. I wonder how will the suspension or expulsion of a student cause problems for a class.

Unfortunately due to Class D having 0 points I won't be expelling Sudo, as the Class Points don't go in negative I won't know the deduction of points if there is any. Moreover Class C is much more of a formidable enemy. If I can get even a single student expelled then that will certainly affect them in one way or other.

I decided to relax and went back to sleep after having a light dinner.

7. Midterms

Kiyo POV

I was lying down on my bed when I suddenly heard knocks on the door, I went ahead and opened it to find the figure of Kushida standing outside.

"Can you let me in? It won't be good for either of us if someone sees us." she said and I moved aside opening the door, she quickly walked in and seated herself on my bed.

I closed the door and locked it so that we don't get interrupted in our talk as I'm sure she isn't here to talk about trivial things anyway.

"What do you want?" I ask her, I'd rather not stretch out this conversation as it was close to curfew.

"Shouldn't you offer me a drink first?" she said.

I sighed and went I the kitchen. "What would you like to drink?"

"Some Coffee please." she said while fiddling on her phone.

After some time I came back in the room with a cup of coffee and handed it over to her.

She started drinking her coffee and I once again asked her about her purpose of coming into my room unannounced. "What did you come here for?" I asked her and she let out a sigh before speaking up.

"Midterms are starting in couple of days and our Sensei didn't tell her about the changed topics until last week. So many of my classmates are in danger of expulsion, I want you to help me." She said.

"Why did you approach me so late?" If she really wanted my help she shouldn't have approached me this late.

"I wanted to try a few things so that I won't have to ask you of all people for help, but nothing worked so I came here as a last resort." she said, she really wanted to avoiid asking me for help huh.

"Why do you think I'll help you?" I asked her the main question.

"W-Well you want me to do what you want so at least you should help me out a little." She said and then pouted which would've been cute if not for her other side showing up. Honestly the image of her pouting with those dark eyes were quite hilarious.

"I didn't think you were someone who cared about your classmates." I said to her, I wonder why is she going as far as to ask me for help to save her classmates. It's definately not because of something like 'I care about them.'

"If they get expelled the whole class would have to face consequences, I'd rather not spend another month with 0 points." She said.

She looked down probably thinking that I won't help her, that's why what I said next surprised her.

"I see, I'll help your classmates this time." I said.

I have many reasons to help her right now. I wanted to try to see if the hint sensei dropped regarding the midterms is true. This will help Kushida gain more of her classmates trust. I need Sudo to stay in the school for my plan regarding Class C to be successful.

"Huh?" She let out a surprised sound and tilted her head sideways not understanding my reason for helping her.

"Just wait for me outside your class for lunch tomorrow I'll handle the rest." I said and opened the door to let her out.

"I see, th-thank you." She said something inn a low voice which I couldn't make out.

"Did you say something?" I asked her.

"N-No nothing, I'll see you later bye." She said as she quickly left my room.

Finally I can relax a bit now. I thought and laid down on my bed.

Before I could sleep suddenly I received a call.

I picked it up and put my phone to my ear.

"Yo, Leader what's with the video you sent to me?" Looks like it's Hashimoto huh. He's talking about the video of The fight between those Class C students and Sudo which I recorded.

"I just sent it to you so that if it somehow gets deleted by me you'll have it as insurance, don't worry about that. I'll handle the issue." I said to him.

"I see, well its quite lucky for you to get this video." he said.

"I guess, well I'll talk to you later I want to rest right now." I said to him and cut the call.

"The population of the world increased from 2 Billion in year 1900 to 6 Billion in the year 2000, due to increase in health facilities, reproductive health and lack of-"

Ring* *Ring*

The bell rang marking the start of our lunch break, everyone started either taking out their lunch box or leaving towards the cafeteria.

I also stood up and left the class towards Class D.

"Ayanokoji kun will you not come eat lunch with us today?" the one who asked me that was Nishi standing along with Motodoi, Kamuro and Hashimoto.

"I'm sorry, I have an appointment with someone else I'll see you guys later." I said and left them behind.

As I arrived outside Class D I saw Kushida standing outside the classroom leaning on a wall.

"Yo" I greeted her and she gave me a weird look.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask her.

"N-No, let's go." She said and we started walking towards the cafeteria.

After arriving we both took a ticket and stood outside the line as I waited for my target, after watching around 20 people I finally found someone.

"Let's go." I said and we both bought our meals.

I sat beside a Student who was eating the vegetable meal.

"Hello senpai, you're from Class D right?" I said.

He was shocked after hearing my voice, he trembled in fear and dropped his fork.

I picked it up and said.

"I want the answers to the midterms you have last year, do you have them? Or do you know someone who does?" I asked him.

"Y-yeah I know s-someone who has them, B-but he won't give you for f-free, you'll need to pay atleast 30,000 points." Even though he was scared he didn't look like he was going to give them for free.

After bargaining with him I bought them for 15,000 points.

"That was quite bold of you." Kushida said to me as we were walking side by side.

"Not really, also you owe me 15,000 points." I said to her.

"You already have a lot of points right, I saw it when you were transferring them to the Senpai. Don't worry, I won't question how you got them." She said.

While it's true that due to the Deal with the SCP I have over 5 million points right now but it still doesn't mean that she doesn't owe me the points.

It's like saying that of someone has a lot of money it's fine for someone who doesn't to take some of it.

What people don't realise is that the person has earned his fortunes and deserves them. It doesn't matter if he won't be effected by you taking some of it. The fact that the money belongs to him won't change.

Still I decided not to ask her anymore as I wasn't in the mood to argue with her right now.

"Why did you bought those anyway? Aren't they just old question papers?" Kushida asked me.

I explained her about all the doubts I had and how the questions will probably be the same.

I received the email from the Senpai and found out that the questions for the pop quiz are same.

"So that means that the questions for the midterms will be same too." Kushida said and I nodded.

"I should show this to my Classmates right away." She said.

"Yeah given the situation they're in as long as they cram it all right now they can pretty much all pass the midterms." I said as I sent her the questions.

"You're quite amazing aren't you?" She said to me.

"I guess?"

"When a girl compliments you, thank her." She said to me.

"Oh..thank you." I said and she nodded as if a teacher teaching her students something new.

"A-Also th-thank you for today." She said while a bit embarrassed so I decided to tease her a bit.

"Don't worry, It's not everyday that I get to have lunch with a girl as cute as you." I said and she blushed and looked away while muttering something that I didn't heard.

While it's true that I had lunch with Sakayanagi who is cutest Kushida is not too much behind her.

"If it wasn't for the death threat you gave me that night I wouldn't hate you." She said still looking away.

"I see." I didn't knew how to respond to that so I just said that.

While it's true that I gave her a death threat, there's no way that I would've actually killed her for something like that.

We just sat in silence till we heard the bell ring marking the end of the lunch break. Fortunately we're given 10 minutes to reach back our class so neither of our classes will lose points for this.

I stood up and walked back to the classroom, Kushida walked by my side lost in her thoughts.

"Bye Kushida, I'll see you later." I said snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Oh yeah bye." she said as she walked back into her Classroom.

Kushida POV

After the short goodbye I entered the Classroom and all eyes were on me, I just simply went back and sat in my seat and soon some of my friends gathered around my seat.

"Ne Ne Kikyo Chan, you never told us that you got yourself such a handsome boyfriend." said Maezono.

"Ehh!" Before I could reply one of my other friends interrupted.

"Well given how cute Kikyo Chan is it's natural for her to have a handsome boyfriend." There was not a hint of jealousy in her words but still I need to clear up this misunderstanding.

"Also He's one of the leaders of Class A and recently got accepted into the Student Council as well." said another one.

I could see the dead look in the eyes of the boys of the Class, in a way it'll be nice if he was my boyfriend atleast these disgusting perverts would stop staring at me.

No, they are shameless and would still do it anyways.

W-Wait I need to clear up the misunderstanding here.

Given I was lost in my thoughts my Classmates took my silence as a confirmation.

Suddenly a unexpected person approached my desk.

"While I don't care about who you go out with I want you to break up with him." Horikita, the girl who had approached me said. At this point all of the attention of my Classmates was on us, this is a good time to make them hate her.

"Horikita San, you're neither my friend and nor Ayanokoji kun's, in short your opinion in this topic doesn't matter." I said still in my cheerful persona, couldn't let my classmates see me get angry.

"Why should I trust you? What if you act as a spy and betray the Class?" She said.

Before I could reply someone else stood up for me.

"Huh, who do you think you are to accuse Kushida San? What have you done for the class? You're just jealous that she got a boyfriend aren't you?" said Karuizawa, I'm sure she didn't stood up for me and only did it so that she can gain more popularity by turning the Class against Horikita. Given that Horikita hadn't made a single friend and acted Coldly towards her classmates no one stood up for her.

Soon enough Horikita was labelled "Jealous Bitch" by all of my Classmates. While I was laughing from pleasure inside I put a sad expression on my face.

While all this had happened Chabashira Sensei arrived and begun teaching. Everyone sat down and listened to the lecture quietly, or atleast pretended to do so.

After the Classes ended I took out the sheets of the Old midterms I had printed and distributed them to my Classmates. I told them about how the questions for the pop quiz were the same and that it will be the same for the Midterms as well.

Due to this no one will be suspicious about me betraying the class as I've just helped the Class a lot.

Thinking about my relationship with Ayanokoji kun, I need to talk to him and ask him to be my boyfriend.

It will be difficult to get him to agree but it's something I need to do.

Or maybe I want to do...

Kiyo POV

After helping Kushida out today I went back to my classroom and the Classes went by normally.

After that I just went back to my dorms for the day. I was getting bored as I laid back on my bed. I could've asked Hashimoto to play video games with me but he said that he wants to study for the midterms tomorrow.

The same is with rest of my friends.

Soon I heard knocks on my door.

A bit excited I went up to check who it is and saw the figure of Kushida standing outside.

"Yahallo Kiyotaka Kun." She said to me, wait why did she call me by my first name.. Somethings suspicious.

I'd rather not have anyone else see her with me as it may lead to rumors, so I invited her in and she sat down on the bed with a smile on her face.

Yeah there's definitely something suspicious going on here.

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked her and she just patted the bed beside her asking me to sit.

I complied with her and sat beside her, she closed the distance between us and now our shoulders were touching, I moved a bit away but she did the same until I was not at the edge of the bed.

I gave up and sighed at her actions.

She giggled which I would've found to be cute if not for her weird actions.

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked her once again.

She looked away and spoke up without looking into my eyes.

"I need you to be my boyfriend."

Oh I see, wait I don't see. Is this a confession? I looked at her but she kept on looking away, with a slight blush on her cheeks. While I wouldn't mind going out with a cute girl but I'm sure she has a ulterior motive.

"Can I take that as you like me?" She did say that she 'needs' me to become her boyfriend and not 'want' so I asked her to clear if there's a misunderstanding.

"Th-That's not the case... Maybe" she muttered something in a low voice but I didn't hear it.

"What happened?" I asked her and she told me about everything that happened when she went back to the class.

Honestly if it weren't for the fact that I need her to have a high social standing I would've exposed her right at this moment.

"Kushida I'll warn you at this moment, the next time you do something like this on your own it won't be good for you." my tone was even colder than my usual one as I threatened her. She gulped in fear and hanged her head low.

I placed my hand under her chin and made her look into my eyes.

She kept on staring into them shivering, after some time she calmed down and kept on staring in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I won't do anything like this again... But please understand the situation." she said and I let out a sigh as I got up from the bed and opened the door motioning her to leave.

"Congratulations on getting a boyfriend Kikyo." I said and she gave me a smile before leaving.

Kiyo POV

I walked in my classroom and noticed the multiple gazes on me. Most boys were glaring at me while the girls were sending me occasional glances and were talking within their groups. Me being me I didn't understood what was the purpose of their behaviour and asked Hashimoto about it.

"Hey Hashimoto, do you know why my classmates are staring at me?"

"Look at this." he said as he showed me a anonymous message on the school forum, it read.

Kushida Kikyo of Class 1-D and Ayanokoji Kiyotaka of Class 1-A are dating.

"News regarding such things sure spread fast huh?" I said and sighed.

"So tell me, is it true?" Hashimoto asked me and almost everyone were now quite listening to my answer.

Well this is troublesome.

"Yeah it's true." I replied and everyone was surprised. They most likely thought that I'll deny this rumor but I didn't.

Well I was the one who had posted it on the forums anyway...

This will not only boost Kushida's but also my popularity. Well dating Kushida in itself gained me quite a lot of popularity.

Some boys who simp on Kushida are now looking at me with their dead eyes. Kamuro is giving me a disgusted look, when I looked at her she just clicked her tongue and looked away.

Sakayanagi is... pouting?

'After you said my heart is your goal. Hmph.' Sakayanagi thought.

Motodoi and Nishi are congratulating me on finding a cute girlfriend.

"And here I thought that I'll have to marry you so that you don't die alone." Nishi said wiping her non-existent tears.

Ouch that hurts you know.

Soon Mashima sensei arrived holding some papers.

"You'll have 5 exams, 3 right now and 2 after lunch break. You have 1 hour each for each subject. Cheating is strictly prohibited and if anyone found doing so will be punished accordingly." he said and started distributing the question papers.

Punished accordingly huh? Well considering the school expels someone for getting a failing grade I won't be surprised if the punishment would be expulsion. Not that it matters to me anyways. I hope no one actually tries to do this stupid thing.

Timeskip to results.

"Here's the results for your class, Amazing performance from all of you. Everyone passed with good grades." Mashima sensei said as he held up the Chart showing us our marks.

Everyone noted down their own marks until they noticed something.

"Huh? How is this possible?" Yahiko was the one who said that.

"Fufufu Amazing Ayanokoji kun." said Sakayanagi.

The cause was the results.

How did I end up scoring more than a perfect score? Well I just bought a test point to test my theory about the S-System.

"Ayanokoji just bought a test point to add in maths before the results were published, I told you on the first day that everything on the campus is available for you to purchase, the midterms are just another thing on the campus."

My classmates now looked at me in amazement.

"How many points did it cost?" Katsuragi was the one who had asked this question.

"100,000 points." replied Mashima sensei.

"Th-That's absurd, 100,000 points for a single test point." said Machida.

I internally sighed as I got ready to answer the questions of my Classmates.

Meanwhile in Class D

Kushida POV

Thankfully everyone in the Class were able to pass the midterms. The lowest grade was of Sudo who barely passed by scoring 40 points in English.

My classmates were thanking me as most of the questions we received were similar to the ones in the old question papers I had distributed yesterday.

After some time I got teased by some of my classmates as they talked about Ayanokoji kun.

Thanks to him now I have one of the highest if not the highest status in the Class, dating the only 1st year in the student council and one of the leading figures of Class A only adds on to the popularity and status.

Moreover I might be able to have a healthy relationship with him.

"Kikyo Chan, we want to meet him." said Matsushita San.

"Umm he might be a bit busy right now due to his student council work, but I'll talk to him about it." I said and everyone nodded.

I can still feel Horikita glaring at me, that just makes me feel all more better. Eve if she talks about the mid school incidence now everyone will just say that she's acting jealous again. She really messed up asking me to break up yesterday.

She isn't even a threat anymore, moreover as long as I stay on the good side of Ayanokoji kun he'll protect me.

I can finally live a normal high school life.

8. Class C vs Sudo

Kiyo POV

It's the 1st of June today, each class will receive their private points today, us students of Class A have received 104,000 private points this month alone, with this we have exceeded the amount the school had given us in the first month.

This morning I got a message from Kushida asking if I received points for this month. Apparently Class D haven't received any points, I'm not much surprised by this as the incident with Sudo and those Class C students is going to be discussed now.

I messages Hiyori and it seems like their Class hasn't received any points either. Looks like my suspicions are on mark. I sent out a message to a certain someone and closed my phone not waiting for the reply. Soon after that Mashima sensei enters the class and stands behind the teachers podium.

"There was a fight between Sudo Ken from Class D and some students from Class C. Class C has filed a complaint against Sudo. If you have any further knowledge regarding this incident please raise your hand." he said. Looks like they're going to tell all the Classes about this incident.

No one raised their hand and Mashima sensei began his lesson.

After lunch break begun Hashimoto turned around and started talking with me.

"What have you planned?" he asked me as I took a bite of my food.

"You'll see." I replied and he grinned.

"Well I need to go and talk to someone, I'll see you later." I said to him and left the classroom heading towards Class D.

As I opened the door of their Class, everyone in the Class turned their head towards me.

I saw Kushida being surrounded by her friends around her desk.

I ignored the multiple gazes of her classmates and walked upto her.

"If you don't mind, can I borrow Kikyo for some time?" I tried to sound a bit polite as to not scare them off with my voice.

Well that didn't work as now the boys who were glaring at me are shivering in their seats while Kushida's friends are standing there as if they saw a ghost.

"Well I'll see you guys later, bye." Kushida said to her friends as she dragged me outside the class with her.

"Why did you have to scare them off like that?" she asked me as we were walking towards the cafeteria.

"I tried to sound polite but that it didn't sound the way I wanted it to..." I replied to her.

Maybe if I had some ice cream it would've worked...

She sighed as we reached the cafeteria, bought our lunches and sat on a table.

"So what did you want to talk about?" she asked me.

"What if I told you I just wanted to meet my cute girlfriend?" I said trying to tease her.

She just sighed again before speaking up.

"Keep your jokes to yourself."

Meanwhile Kushida's thoughts : Arghh why does he have tease me like that, thank god I have good acting skills, I hope I didn't blush at his statement.

"About the incident regarding Sudo from your class." I said.

"Oh about that, well Sensei just told us that he got in a fight with those guys from Class C and they filed a complaint against him. They're holding a meeting in the Student Council Room in a few days." she said.

"I see, what do you think about it?" I asked her opinion on the matter.

"Well if that hot headed idiot could just use his brain or not fight with everyone he talks to he wouldn't be in this situation in the first place, there wasn't any witness who could vouch for him so it looks like he'll atleast be suspended for a few weeks or maybe a month." she said playing with her fork resting her cheeks on the table.

"I want you to attend the meeting in the Student Council today."

"Huh? Why? I don't think you should associate with these Class D case, it'll rise suspicions towards you from your classmates. Don't you think they'll think you're going to betray them by helping Class D?" She said to me.

Is she worried about me?

"Don't worry I won't be directly involving myself in this case, just follow my instructions. I'll handle the rest." I said.

"Fine... What do you want me to do?" she asked me and I told her everything she needs to know.

"If that's all then I'll be leaving, bye." she says and leaves the cafeteria and so do I.

As long as she does her job well my plan would work.

Timeskip

I'm currently doing my work sitting in the Student Council Office, the only people today are me Horikita-Senpai and Tachibana Senpai. Nagumo didn't have any work to do for today. Or more like president didn't thought that he is responsible enough to do that work.

Kiriyima Senpai who is the treasurer of the student Council had already completed his work and left a few minutes ago.

"Ayanokoji, I want you to stay here during the meeting regarding the violent incident between the Class C students and Sudo Ken. Is that fine with you?" Horikita Senpai asked me and I nodded in response to him.

It's good that he asked me to attend the meeting as I was going to ask him if I can anyways.

After some time the Homeroom teacher of Class C along with the 3 students involved in the incident came in and sat down in their place as we waited for the Class D representatives and Homeroom teacher to arrive.

After 5 minutes they also entered the Student Council Office. The first one to enter was the homeroom teacher of Class D. She glanced at me for a second before walking towards her Chair and staring at Horikita Senpai. After her entered Horikita senpai's sister who glared at me after noticing me standing beside her Nii-San. I glared back at her and she froze next to the door and was snapped out of her thoughts by Kushida.

As the meeting begun, Class C students accused Sudo of beating them up and Sudo kept on shouting, after some time the conclusion we reached was that the statements of both parties are completely different.

"It's obvious that one of the parties are lying, Class C are you sure that everything you've stated here is the complete truth?" Horikita senpai asked the Class C students who hesitated for a second before nodding. By their actions it can be easily noticed that they're lying. Horikita senpai then asked the same question to Class D and Kushida confidently said that true.

"If that's the case then you won't mind if I put expulsion on the table?

"What do you mean?" Sakagami sensei was the one who asked the question while the 3 Class C students looked a bit scared but nodded nonetheless, looks like Ryuuen has full control over them.

"Exactly what I said, if your students are not lying then they shouldn't have a problem with that right?" Horikita Senpai replied shutting him down.

"Tachibana, play the video." He said to Tachibana senpai who turned on the projector and played the video in which it could be seen clearly that the Class C students were the one's who attacked Sudo. The faces of the Class C students turned pale as they knew what would happen to them now. Chabashira sensei smirked at Sakagami sensei who had a confused look on his face.

"If you had the evidence all this time then why didn't you showed us before?" Sakagami sensei now asked Horikita senpai who glared at him as he spoke.

"If you knew your students were lying all this time why didn't you stop them before?"

Sakagami sensei just clicked his tongue and clenched his fist as he hanged his head low not being able to say anything else.

"Now with the evidence we have it is proven that Ishizaki, Komiya and Kondo from Class C had called over Sudo Ken fro Class D to the special annex building where they attacked him first. After that Sudo Ken of Class D fought back and hurt the 3. The 3 students from Class C will be expelled for attacking a student, falsely accusing him and giving false statement to the student council. Along with that Class C will lose a total of 150 Class points." He said and Sudo grinned watching the Class C students who were now panicking.

"Also Sudo Ken will be suspended for 1 week for injuring the three."

Sudo stopped grinning after hearing that.

After that everyone except Chabashira sensei, Horikita senpai, Tachibana senpai and I left the room.

"Who sent you the evidence?" Chabashira sensei asked Horikita senpai.

"That's none of your business." He said and Chabashira sensei smirked at him before leaving the room.

"Excellent job Ayanokoji." Horikita senpai said to me.

"I was just at the right place at the right time." I replied as I also leave the room.

Now Tachibana senpai and Horikita senpai are alone in the office, I hope they don't do anything lewd.

Well even if they do I won't snitch on them.

Now I wonder how will Ryuuen react to this.

If I could, I would've laughed at his misery right now. Losing 3 classmates and 150cp is going to make him furious. He'll surely search for he person who sent the evidence to the Student Council.

Unfortunately for him, I made Hashimoto send the video to Horikita senpai, apart from Hashimoto, Horikita senpai and Tachibana senpai no one knows about the fact that I was the one behind his failure.

Horikita senpai and Tachibana senpai have no reason to tell Ryuuen my name. If Hashimoto betrays me he'll face consequences and he knows that so he'll keep his mouth shut.

By this incident Ryuuen wanted to know about how the school works and the penalty for expulsion. Well if he wants to gain something then he'll have to lose something too.

His plan was by no means perfect, he never accounted for the fact that someone might witness this.And I indeed did witness the event.

Many of his classmates won't follow his commands anymore. While they might be afraid of him they'll also be afraid that if thy keep on following Ryuuen they might meet the same fate as their 3 classmates who got expelled.

In our history there have been many tyrants, but the ones who couldn't bring results have always lost.

Ryuuen gambled his 3 students on this case.

His gamble depended on 3 things,

First was that no one witnesses the fight. He lost this as I witnessed the fight.

Second was the fact that the witness wouldn't help Class D, or the witness being a student of Class D. He must've thought that a student of another Class wouldn't help Class D, well what if the student didn't want to help Class D but damage Class C? He didn't completely thought about it and thus he lost

Third was that the witness doesn't have any proof of the fight. If I didn't have the recording then Sakagami sensei would have accused me of plotting along with Class D to damage Class C. If I had no proof that I witnessed the fight then it would've resulted in a standstill. Unfortunately for him I had enough proof to make it clear that the Class C boys were guilty.

Ryuuen lost this gamble, with this Class C will be vulnerable. One more defeat and that'll be the nail in the coffin for Ryuuen and his Class.

I wonder how long can he control them on fear alone. It'll come down to what his classmates fear.

Do they fear Ryuuen?

Or do they fear Expulsion?

Most of them would fear both. And out of the the majority would fear expulsion. As long as Ryuuen doesn't make a comeback he will not be able to handle the reforms by his classmates. Moreover the pressure on him would be large. If he can't handle that then he will get destroyed.

Ryuuen POV

Kukuku soon enough the results of the meeting would be out. I wonder what would be the face of those Class D idiots. That Sudo guy would lose the trust of his classmates and they'll turn against him.

The school judges us not only on the basis of academic ability but also physical and thinking.

While that red head retard lacks in both Academics and Thinking his physical ability could be useful for his classmates.

Moreover If he gets expelled I'll be able to gather more information about the school.

Even if he doesn't gets expelled he'll atleast get a punishment. I will also get to know what happens to his Class due to that.

"BOSS." A voice called out to me, its Albert my classmate and also my personal dog. He hands me over a phone, looks like the results are out huh.

["R-Ryuuen San."] This voice is Ishizaki's, but why's he so scared? Don't tell me...

["Th-They had evidence... a video of us hitting Sudo... Me, Komiya and Kondo are getting expelled, please save us... We've been called in the guidance office right now."]

"What!? Didn't I told you to look out for any witnesses, you couldn't handle a single job?" I unconsciously shouted at him. This is the worst possible outcome for us. Someone decided to help Class D... No that person didn't decide to help Class D, he decided to attack Class C. If he only wanted to help Class D then he would've shown the evidence right away. He must have waited till the end moment so that expulsion could be put on table.

Kukuku looks like there's somone I can play with. Someone interesting in this pile of trash. But for now I need to handle this situation.

"Wait outside the guidance office, I'm coming over." I said to him and cut off the call.

There's no way to save those 3 idiots now is there? I've already talked about this with that old hag teacher of ours and it takes 20Million points to save a single guy from expulsion. 60 Million points huh. Unfortunately I don't have early enough points even if I take points from all of my Classmates. No upper-class men would be willing to give me this many points no matter what i try to give them in exchange.

I could try and take all the blame for this but they wouldn't let those three go either. Even if I say that I bullied them and made them do this they'll just expel all 4 of us.

Looks like this is my first loss in this high school huh?

I'll just have to crush whoever did this. I'll surely find them and crush them.

Even so... This is annoying. This'll be a great loss, 3 people and 150 Class points. Even if I manage to bring back the Clas points the people who are expelled won't be able to come back.

Tch.

Kukuku this school sure is interesting.

Now I have 2 options for the next chapter.

1. Ryuuen is allowed to keep his classmates in exchange for his class losing an additional 150cp.

2. Ryuuen isn't able to save his classmates.

While I think that the first option is causing me to bend the rules of the school. I think that Ryuuen wouldn't let his classmates get expelled this easily.

While I do believe that he isn't much attached to them this early in his school life, I think he'll say something like "I bullied them and forced them into doing all of this, instead of them expel me." and Ryuuen would be expelled instead of them.

Even So if he's unable to save them one way or other he might drop from the position of leader and Class C will get out of the competition.

That's something I don't want so I think first option is better as Ryuuen won't let the loss of class points effect him and will continue to lead the class even after his loss.

Another thing Is that Ryuuen will search for the one who did this to his Class i.e Kiyo.

So here also are 2 options.

1. Hashimoto betrays Kiyo and tells Ryuuen about him.

2. Ryuuen isn't able to find Kiyo.

I think that Hashimoto betraying Kiyo is possible as he was making deals with Ryuuen in the light novel even when under Sakayanagi.

This'll lead into Ryuuen Challanging Kiyo.

But if Ryuuen doesn't find out Kiyo now he'll find him later in the fic. Maybe after the sports festival.

Also one more thing, I uploaded a new fic yesterday so check that out if you want to.

9. Cruise

Summer vacation

It's something that I've been curious for a while now. I first read about it when I was a kid in the white room.

The other children there also talked about their thoughts of how fun it would be to enjoy spending time swimming around with your friends and eating different kinds of food, not having to worry about getting punished or being discarded.

Even though they were used as an experiment they tried their best to keep the morale of those around them up. Because it was them who knew the most about the suffering their comrades are going through. At least that was for the first few years.

Our training had begun when we were just 4 years old. It's not like they didn't teach us anything during the first 4 years of our life, its just that the cruelty of the place came into view when we were 4.

It only took 3 months for the first child to lose his mind. He was unable to take on the pressure we were given and passed out in middle of a test.

All we were told was that he was discarded and that the same will be the fate of anyone else who isn't able to complete the tasks they're provided with.

Just like Hirata in Class D and Ichinose in Class B we also had children who would try to help our peers. But as time went by they themselves weren't able to take it anymore.

Everyone started to use underhanded tactics such as sabotaging someone else so thay won't have to take the last place.

Unfortunately for them 'that man' just went ahead and punished each and everyone who failed the tasks.

It didn't matter if you failed by a single mark or a hundred. The punishment you'll receive was equally cruel as anything harsher than that might just kill them on spot.

If not from the tasks, the children started dying from the punishments. I saw the children beg for mercy, shout in fear, lose their mind, I saw them suffer.

And I couldn't help but feel nothing.

It was truly unfortunate that they had to suffer through all that, and so did I. That's why I know better than anyone else how they felt.

But I couldn't feel anything.

I sill remember their words. They called me a Horrible Human being, A monster, some even went ahead and blamed me for their sufferings.

It's just that I didn't care. I just kept on doing what I was ordered to, kept on completing the tasks.

Some might say that the life I was living was meaningless, its no different if I were to die.

I have to disagree with those people, If it wasn't for the fact that I didn't give up I wouldn't have been able to feel all these things I'm feeling right now as I stand on the deck of this cruise.

I didn't give up and hoped that one day I'll be able to feel all those things that I read and saw in the books.

I don't know what I'm feeling but I'm sure that whatever it is it's different from what I felt in 'that place' when I was under the thumb of 'that man'.

I sighed and stopped thinking about that place as for the time I'm here I'd like to enjoy my freedom

I was staring at the sea in front of my eyes, this is the first time I've seen it and I have to agree to the fact that it's beautiful.

I noticed a yellow jellyfish in the ocean. It was pretty beautiful, although I'd rather not go near it as a jellyfish sting hurts. Or atleast that's what I read in those books.

"Yo Leader!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts as I was called out by a voice from behind, it was none other than Hashimoto my classmates and a friend.

Honestly I don't know if I'm capable of being friends with anyone but giving up isn't an option for me, it never was and never will.

He's also the first person to have joined the Ayanokoji faction but I just call him a friend as calling him 'a member of Ayanokoji faction' is long and sounds a bit weird.

He was accompanied by my two other friends Nishi and Motodoi who also greeted me. Well they just called me Ayanokoji kun instead of leader, which I prefer.

"You guys are enjoying the cruise?" I asked them trying to start a conversation.

If I want to become the leading figure of Class A, I'll need to be able to initiate conversations with my peers. Currently the only people I'm close to are my 3 friends, Kushida, Horikita senpai, Tachibana senpai and maybe Ichinose. So that's all the options I have.

Meanwhile Tachibana senpai doesn't like me too much and always glares at me whenever I talk with Horikita senpai.

Maybe I should try to seduce her or something like that to make her stop doing that.

It always makes the environment inside the Student council office tense and uncomfortable.

Or maybe I should try to set her up with Horikita senpai.

"-nokoji kun"

Hmm?

"Ayanokoji kun!" Nishi called out to me, looks like I spaced out for a bit after trying to start a conversation.

"Sorry I spaced out a little." I apologized to them.

"It's fine, what were you thinking about?" She asked me and Hashimoto and Motodoi also looked at me a bit curious.

"Who knows." I replied vaguely as I was a bit tired and not in mood to explain them my thoughts.

Also I can't say that I was thinking of ways to seduce a senpai can I?

Hashimoto will probably kill me by teasing all day.

Nishi just let out a 'geh' at my reply and dragged us around the ship to try the various activities we get on the ship.

We went to a restaurant and ordered various type of dishes we wanted to try.

We went to the 'Arcade' and tried out some games. Nishi and Motodoi were interested in the racing games and a zombie shooter.

Hashimoto rode a Snake and let out some 'Hissss' which made Motodoi blush and Nishi laugh out loud.

I tried the Zombie shooter where I cleared 15 waves of zombies o my first try after which I left the game as an announcement was made regarding the Island coming to view.

As we reached the deck I noticed that Katsuragi was also present and looking at the island with his usual stern look. He gave me a glance and I nod acknowledging his presence and he did the same before continuing to look at the island.

The ship moved around the island in a faster speed before coming at a stop near the dock.

Another announcement was made calling alm the students together.

I along with my friends walked towards where Class A stood and waited for the others to come.

In Class B students were chatting along with their friends, it was quite a lively atmosphere. I felt a bit envious.

In Class D Ryuuen was standing with his hands in his pockets wearing sunglasses looking forward with his superior Aura. Surrounding him was his goons. Hashimoto told me that he tried searching around for the person who destroyed his plans, but he didn't tell him about me.

Lucky for him Ryuuen was able to save his classmates. I asked Horikita senpai about it and he told me that they had to give up all of their Class points to save the 3 students. This also caused them to fall down to Class D and the old Class D to become Class C.

If it was someone like Horikita Senpai's sister she probably would've thought of them as dead weight and let them be, but Ryuuen isn't nearly as foolish as them and knows that how he might get disadvantage in the future due to having 3 less classmates.

In Class C some of the perverts Kushida told me about were chatting loudly and shamelessly. Some of their Classmates were ashamed of their behaviour while some sighed as they were used to it.

Kushida was standing along with her friends. I noticed that they were glancing towards me from time to time and giggling. Also Kushida was looking away from my sight for some reason.

Does she hate me? Well I guess I did threaten her.

Not that I care about her opinion of me anyways.

"Now that everyone is present here I'll start explaining rules of your first special exam." Mashima Sensei said causing some questions from the students.

~A Boring explanation later~

Dissatisfied shouts could be heard from the Class C and Class D students who complained about not being able to enjoy their Summer vacation.

Ungrateful idiots.

For someone like me who wasn't allowed to even look at the outside world that's all they were.

They're provided with all these facilities for free, they're allowed to explore a whole island and spend times with their friends. They're allowed to do all those things that I've always dreamt of.

I couldn't help but remember the faces of the white room students who just wished for a normal life, for loving parents and for their freedoms.

This was one of the few times I knew what I was feeling.

It was frustration.

I noticed that everyone around me had tensed up and we're staring at me, sweating a bit.

The students who were complaining we're now trembling.

I looked over towards one of those idiots. He was short and had brown hair towards his side. Kushida told me that he was one of those boys who ogle over her body.

"Shut up and listen to what Sensei's speaking, no one cares about your opinions so you can keep them to your ugly ass. Got it?" I said staring at him. I surprised myself as I realised that I felt these emotions inside me. It wasn't a pleasent feeling but I'm still happy that it was something.

He started crying and pissed his pants. Many students and some teachers gulped in fear hearing my even colder voice. His friends will probably make fun of him for all his school life for pissing his pants in front of the whole first year. He ran away towards the rooms crying, probably to change his pants.

"I-It's fine A-Ayanokoji kun here have an Ice cream." Nishi said giving me an ice cream. It's almost as if she was prepared for this moment... Not thinking much about it I took it from her.

I immediately felt a bit normal looking at it.

"Thank you." I said to her and started eating the ice cream.

Tasty as ever. I thought after licking it.

A few sighs of releif were heard as Mashima Sensei began to tell us about the toilet we are provided with.

Some girls let out dissatisfied expressions after looking at it. Mashima sensei then provided us with a manual. I went by Katsuragi's side.

"Do you mind if I also look at it with you?" I asked him and he got closer as we look through the items we can buy. Apparently we just need to ask sensei for the item we want.

As we were looking at the last page I read something that interested me a bit.

I told Katsuragi that I'd like to co-operate with him, atleast for this exam and he agreed and said that he'll lead the Class for the exam.

I went back to my friends and thought about my suspicions as we start to leave the cruise.

I'm sorry for the short chapter but I just wanted to update something I guess and this was the fic in which I had written the most.

I'm trying to think of something new for this exam but all I get are the same ideas of Kiyo using the strategy of selling the leader's name and making the green haired idiot drop out.

Well that's no fun to write so if I get a decent idea I'll write that.

Also Ryuuen's class lost all its class points but were allowed to keep their private points. Someone reminded me that in volume 8 it was shown that along with 20Million points 300cp are also taken away to stop expulsion.

But Ryuuen can't possibly afford 60 Million points and 900cp so I had to make it 340 co for all idiots combined and all the private points the 3 had.

Also ik that Kiyo usually has no emotions but I want him to slowly be able to feel them. I guess it was a bit too fast for him to show these emotions.

But thinking about it I think if anyone else was in his shoes then they'll also feel the same things if not more.

10. Start of the Island Exam

{So here's an AN before the chapter.

Well due to me being lazy and a bit stressed I fucked up this story.

I forgot that Kamuro even exists... If it was Kei or Horikita it would've been fine but I ended up forgetting about SSS Tier waifu Beer Ara~ Ara~ Chan... Yeah... So I think its better if I take it slowly so that I don't fuck up anymore.

I'm just happy that I realised that I've been doing all these shitty mistakes right now and not after 20 chapters...

So what I'm getting at is, I've got a lot of shit to write and it takes time...

I'll prioritize this story along with Honami Chan, Ichika sama and maybe Kikyo Chan for a while. So all other fics will be updated a lot less till I finish these stories.

Kushida POV

Soon all classes started to disembark from the ship. First was Class A, followed by Class B and then it was our Class's turn.

As we were about to disembark Ike who had pissed his pants after hearing Kiyo came back after changing. His eyes were red from anger and he was still sobbing, he also looked scared. Honestly it's hilarious how he is trying to look angry with that scared expression. If it was any other situation I'm sure my classmates would have made fun of him and laughed at him.

"Kanji you'll never get a girlfriend now." Yamauchi said to him while patting his back and got glared by Ike. Looks like Yamauchi's still going to act tough as if he could've handled that situation, even though he also shed a tear after hearing Kiyo's words.

Well neither will you perverted asshole. I'll make sure that everyone in the school hates you and your group of perverted friends by the end of this year.

But I'm sure that anyone in his position would have been scared for his life. I don't know what happened to Kiyo to make him do something like this. His actions were far from necessary and something that I never could've expected.

If someone who didn't knew him had seen this then they might've thought that he did this to punish Ike for ogling over his girlfriend. But I know better than that. I know that he would never do anything like that for me.

Maybe if it was Ice cream chan instead of me he would've done it...No! if it would've been Ice cream chan then he would've done much worse things to Ike. I felt a bit happy as I saw Ike's scared expression as he embarrassed himself in front of all of the first year students and teachers.

"Kikyo Chan...is Ayanokoji kun always... that scary?" asked a worried Mii-Chan. If it weren't for her always simping over Hirata I might've actually liked her. She always keeps on talking about how great Hirata is, it's become quite annoying at this point.

"Not really...he's pretty nice and calm usually...this is the first time I've seen him like this. Maybe he had a bad day..." I replied honestly, I've never seen him this angry. No, I've never seen him show any emotion to this extent anyways.

He always has the expressionless look along with that scary and dark Aura around him. Also his eyes... I'm sure that most of the students can't look into them while talking to him. I wonder what his past is due to which he became like this.

"You can tell us anytime if he acts that way with you, we'll help you out!" Maezono said with a serious expression on her face.

Unfortunately even if he were to act like that with me there's no one in this world who could possibly save me. I know better than them about how scary he can be. How smart he can be. He's someone I need to make sure not to make an enemy of.

Because I know that as long as I'm useful to him, he'll protect me. As long as I do what he say I can live a perfect high school life.

If it was someone else I probably would've tried to expel them. But if it's him then I'd rather drop out myself than face his wrath.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he will never do anything of that sort to me. Well if he does I'll surely inform you." I lied to my friends with a smile as we walk towards the beach.

Kiyo POV

As we were standing in the beach Katsuragi went towards Mashima sensei, probably to make the card for occupying bases.

My friends approached me as we stood a bit away from the rest of the class.

"Do you have something planned?" Hashimoto asked me.

"I have something in my mind but it's better to go with the flow for now." I replied and he didn't ask further.

"What do you think about the base? I'd say the cave we saw from the cruise is the best option." He said, I'm not much surprised that he was able to understand the clue that the school gave us as he's one of the most observant people in our class.

"I agree, it's the best for acquiring most bonus points. Moreover if we need to, we can hide the inside of the cave by covering it's entrance with a little extra effort." I replied.

"Kiyotaka, what do you think about the toilet? I'm not sure if it is comfortable or hygienic for us to use." A worried Nishi asked me.

"Don't worry about it I'll convince Katsuragi to buy a toilet for our base, I think he'll agree." I said and she, Kamuro and Motodoi let out a sigh of releif.

While we could save some points by using the toilet provided by the school, it's better for us to buy and ask the school to set one up at the base camp.

If a single person were to fall sick and have to drop out due to the toilet it'd be a huge loss for the class.

We're already starting with a 30 points penalty due to Sakayanagi not being able to participate in the exam.

As I was lost in my thoughts Katsuragi came back with the leader's card in his pocket. He told us to go inside the forest and search around for different resources as he along with the leader goes to occupy the base.

"Katsuragi." I called him out.

"What is it Ayanokoji?" He asked me.

"I think it's better for more of us to come along with you to the cave, it'll be better for us to hide the leader's identity. Also if anyone else saw you alone with the leader there they'll be able to narrow the leader's identity down to you two."

"Cave? What are you talking about?" It was Yahiko who asked that question.

"Katsuragi will explain it to you later." I said to him and he didn't pry any further.

"I see, I wasn't originally planning on occupying the base right away as I wanted to confirm whether it is a spot or not but I guess your idea is fine too." He said and I motioned my friends to follow us as we along with Katsuragi and Yahiko move towards the cave.

If it wasn't for the fact that we are co-operating with each other in this exam Katsuragi would've rejected my proposal. But if he did that now he would've indirectly said that he doesn't trust us.

He knows that if he refuses my proposal right now then it increases the chance of betrayal and will affect Class A's performance.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as I felt someone glaring at me from behind. I turned around to see that it was Kamuro who was looking at me with a disgusted expression. Well that is her usual expression...

"Are you worried about something?" I asked her and she just looked away from me.

"You can tell me you know..." I said to her and she timidly looked at me from the corner of her eyes before looking back towards the ground.

We were walking a bit behind from the rest so they won't listen in on our conversation.

"You never told us that you were close to Kushida before you started dating...I understand that you don't have to tell us about your personal life but... Nevermind." She said and started walking faster to catch up with the rest.

"Masumi." I called her out with her first name, even though it was common to call your friends by their first names she was a taken back by it.

"Wh-What?" she asked while still nit facing me, I could see that her cheeks were a bit red.

"I'm sorry but there are somethings that I can't tell you guys, it's not that I can't trust you all or anything it's just that I don't feel comfortable talking about my life with people." I told her.

Although it is true that the amount of trust I have in my friends is and will probably never be to the point where I can tell them about my past.

She looked a bit dejected as I said that.

"But, if it's things like this then I guess I'll try to be more open with you all." I said and she gave me a soft smile before walking beside me.

This way she understands that I don't like talking about my personal life but also thinks that I'll try to work on that and tell them stuff about me.

She won't be expecting me to tell her much but would be happy whenever I talk a bit about myself. This way she will be happy while I won't be revealing anything Important about me.

Nice.

After walking for around 10 more minutes we finally reached the cave and went inside where we found a box like device with a scanner on top of it.

"It's probably used to obtain the spot." Motodoi said.

"Well there's no other use of such thing in the middle of a forest on an uninhabited island. I think we should take the spot and call our classmates here as soon as possible." I said and we proceeded with the plan.

Yahiko and Katsuragi went to call our classmates to the cave as we sit here.

"By the way Leader Ryuuen was looking around for the guy who helped Class D, he even said that he'll give 100,000 points to anyone who tells him the identity of that person." Hashimoto told me.

Hmm should I make Kushida tell him the name of the black haired bitch and collect the 100K? Well considering it's Ryuuen we're talking about he'll just end up targeting Kushida and not even give the points.

Kushida is a valuable pawn and I'd never give her up for private points. Also she's cute and fun to have around so that's a plus.

Although when she vents her feelings to me she can be a bit too loud and shouts like crazy.

One time she ended up falling asleep on my chest and I had to carry her to my bed. Next morning she apologized to me multiple times all wile blushing. It was quite a fun and cute sight.

Wait I'm getting away from the topic...

Ryuuen huh? Well let's see what he can do. I don't think he'll find me soon enough, I'll eliminate him before he could become a hindrance.

"I wonder what strategy he'll take for this exam." I said and let out a sigh.

He can go around spying on the other classes bases to find out the leaders...

Although that's something that will probably not work as every class will be taking precautions and hide the identity of their leader.

Although I wonder how Class D will handle this exam. They don't even have a leader who can unite the class. They're probably going to get their leader guessed by Both Class A and Class C.

Well I can just ask Kushida about their leader, she might not want to tell me but I can just give her some private points per month as a compensation.

She already told me that she doesn't care much about graduating from Class A as long as she can have a good high school life.

Sakayanagi will definitely tell other Classes about Class A's leader. She probably had already told one of her underlings to sabotage the Class so that Katsuragi' s reputation is ruined.

Unfortunately due to me being present on the island Katsuragi's faction will probably think that the traitor was one of us and will blame the results on us.

In that case I need to win the exam while ruining both Katsuragi's and Sakayanagi's reputation.

As I was lost in my thoughts Katsuragi along with all our Classmates came back to the cave.

Some of them had already gathered some fruits and dry wood which can be useful for us later on.

As everyone was settling in I approached Katsuragi.

"Katsuragi, since we're co-operation in this exam I'll like you to inform me before taking any major decisions concerning the class. While it's true that you're the one leading the Class during the exam, it's also true that we both are considered one of the leading figures and my friends might not feel comfortable if a decision concerning them is taken without the opinion of their leader being taken into consideration." I told him and he nodded at me before going back towards the classmates.

I was about to walk back towards my friends but I heard some noise from the bushes from my right. As I looked towards it a certain person came out with a wide grin on his face.

11. Plans For The Island Exam

Kiyo POV

I looked at the person who had decided to show himself. It was a slim guy with medium length Magenta hair. Hmm his hair is almost the same length as Kushida's... wait that's not the thing I should be thinking about right now.

As more of my classmates noticed his presence they took a fighting stance and glared at the boy. Am I the only one who doesn't know him?

"Kukuku looks like I'm not much welcome here huh?" The boy finally spoke up. Hashimoto who was sitting inside the cave with the rest of my friends, stood beside me and whispered.

"He's Ryuuen Kakeru, the tyrant of Class D."

While I had herd about Ryuuen before this is the first time I've seen him. He does have a creepy grin and laugh. What's "Kuku"? sounds retarded...

"Where's your leader? I'd rather not look at your dumb faces any longer." He said not minding the glares he was receiving.

"Go call Katsuragi, I'll talk to him till then." I said to Hashimoto and started walking towards Ryuuen.

Noticing me approaching him he stares at me and grins widely.

"Is there something you need?" I asked him and he narrowed his eyes probably not liking my cold voice.

"Kukuku no need to be so vary of me... so you're the one leading these fools? Never saw you before."

While I'd rather not tell him about the fact that the class is divided in 3 factions it doesn't look like I have much of a choice right now.

"I don't think we've met before, I'm Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, one of the leaders of Class A."

"Oh so you're the boy who joined the student council, so you couldn't even take control of your class?" He said trying to mock me.

"Better than Leading the class down to 0 points, Horikita senpai told me about your futile attempt to take down the defects, seems like you couldn't even do that."

"You said you're one of the leaders huh? Where are the others?" He asked me not wanting to respond to my rebuttal. At the same time Katsuragi came out of the cave and approached us. He narrowed his eyes after noticing the presence of Ryuuen.

"Ryuuen...What do you want?" He asked getting straight to the point.

"Let's talk somewhere else. Follow me." He said walking towards the jungle as we follow behind him.

After we were some distance away from our camp he turned around and faced us.

"I'll get straight to the point. I want to make a deal with Class A." Ryuuen said looking straight into our eyes. This is some interesting development.

"Deal?" Katsuragi was suspicious of Ryuuen and so was I. Ryuuen had attacked both Class B and Class C. His actions were revealed and his class paid for them. It won't be wrong to assume that he is trying to use some underhanded methods or loopholes to damage Class A.

Ryuuen took out a paper and a pen and passed it to us.

Katsuragi and I read the contents of the paper carefully as Ryuuen stood a few metres ahead of us grinning widely.

"According to this contract Class 1-D will provide Class A with 200 S-Points worth of items from the manual provided by the school. In exchange all students of Class 1-A will transfer 20,000 Private points each month until graduation. In addition to the 200 S-Points, the identity of the leader of one of the remaining Class along with the proof will also be provided.

Breaching the contract will result with the party which has breached the contract dropping out of the school.

Ignoring the signature I read the contract once again to check for any loopholes in it but couldn't find one.

"So what do you say?" Ryuuen asked us clearly wanting to make the deal quickly.

"Ryuuen please wait here for a moment I want to talk with Katsuragi for a minute." I said and motioned Katsuragi to follow me a bit away from Ryuuen.

"Huh!? If you want to make a deal do it now! I don't have time for this bullshitry!" Ryuuen spoke, it was clear that this was his master plan. Meaning that he'll have a difficult time on the island if this doesn't go in his favor.

"Do you expect us to not discuss about a deal which involves the whole class? You should know that how absurd that sounds." This isn't a small deal in any ways. If we make the deal Ryuuen will be able to squeeze out 20,000 points from each of our classmates every month. That's 800,000 points every month and 9.6 Million points in 1 year.

While the deal looks better for us in terms of numbers we also have to consider the psychological impact that it will have on our classmates. Humans are surprisingly greedy creatures. Even if they had agreed to pay in advance, they would still feel dissatisfied with their purchase.

This would have been fine if the recipient was an ally of sorts, but continuously paying tribute to the man who poses the greatest threat to their position is something our classmates wouldn't be very happy about. Especially the members of Sakayangi faction as this would be a deal signed by us and not their leader.

Moreover I was still not certain of Ryuuen's motives. With the help of my purchase of marks in exam I now have a idea about how much importance private points have in our school life.

If it's true that we are free to buy anything in the school then it's also possible that someone might be able to buy the expulsion of someone from the school.

Ofcourse that sounds ridiculous but there are a lot of ridiculous things about this school, from the point system to special exams. And I have currently just seen the tip of the iceberg. The fact that I was able to score 101 marks in a test is also ridiculous.

If it is indeed true that expulsion of a student can be bought and Ryuuen who keeps on extorting money from Class A buys my expulsion then that would be the end of my school life and my freedom which is something that I have to protect no matter what.

In short I think that this deal is something that we shouldn't make. Making a deal with a guy like Ryuuen will leave a bad impression on our classmates too.

After I was alone with Katsuragi I explained to him the drawbacks of the deal and convinced him to decline it.

After hearing my reasoning Katsuragi agreed with me and we proceeded to tell Ryuuen that aren't making the deal.

It's good that Katsuragi agreed to me otherwise I would have to use other methods.

I wanted to leave Ryuuen waiting and head straight back to the base but Katsuragi said that that'll be rude so we have to answer him before heading back.

As we reach back to where we left Ryuuen we saw him standing beside a tree tapping his foot to the ground getting impatient.

After he noticed us arriving he glared at us and complained about us taking too much time to come back.

"So what's your decision?" he asked us not wanting to waste any more time.

"We won't be making the deal." I said and Ryuuen clicked his tongue and faced Katsuragi.

"You should know that you lost quite a lot support from your classmates after being rejected by the Student Council even after trying your best. This is your chance to get ahead of that Loli. Don't think too much and take it." Ryuuen intentionally mentioned about Katsuragi being rejected by Horikita senpai. He looks quite desperate for making the deal, that's all the more reason to not make it.

"Let's go Katsuragi don't let him get to your head." I said to him and we started walking back to our base.

Ryuuen POV

That guy Ayanokoji, he must've made baldy change his mind. I was this close to make the deal. That Katsuragi is too straight minded, he would've made the deal.

But this isn't bad either, now I have another interesting person to play with.

Kukukuku.

Kiyo POV

"Achoo"

"Are you fine?" Katsuragi asked me as we were walking back to our base.

"Yeah don't worry about it... also, I think we should form a group for taking the other spots we saw from the cruise." I said to him and he nodded at me.

After sending the group led by Katsuragi to take the spots I went back to my friends.

"Yo King, what did Ryuuen want?" Hashimoto asked me. He was sitting on the ground along with the others. The ground was hard and uncomfortable but it's not like we didn't expect a bit of uncomfort.

"Make a guess, it's something that he wants a lot of and satisfies him." I said trying to make a joke.

They all thought about it for 5 seconds and All 3 girls blushed while Hashimoto's eyes widened.

"Y-You didn't give him that right?" Hashimoto asked me.

They guessed it already? They looked embarrassed for some reason? Maybe I'll lie and see how they react to it.

"Yeah, it took some time but he got what he wanted." As I said that Nishi started crying and saying something like 'My baby grew so fast.' Motodoi who was still blushing wasn't able to mutter a word.

Kamuro gave me her most disgusted look. Did she mistake me for Ayanopapa?

"E-Even if you're i-interested in boys, I'm sure you had m-much better options than Ryuuen..." Hashimoto spoke up.

"Interested in boys? What are you talking about?" I asked a bit confused.

The look of disgust on Kamuro's face changed to one of confusion and after thinking for a while she spoke up.

"What exactly is it that Ryuuen wanted?"

"Hmm? I thought you guys guessed it... Well he wanted to make a deal with Class A but we refused. He wanted a lot of points which would have satisfied his wants." I told them and they let out a sigh of relief.

"Kiyotaka kun, please don't make such jokes..." Motodoi said and the other 3 nodded multiple times agreeing with her statement.

Looks like I still need to improve on my humour. Although it's surprising how I was able to make Nishi cry with them. Maybe I can use them to make people my tools.

Kei : "I'll do what you say just don't make a joke again."

"What exactly was the deal he wanted to make?" Hashimoto asked me and I explained them the details of the deal Ryuuen wanted to make.

"I see... Well I think its best for us to stay away from Ryuuen as much as possible. He's certainly not trustworthy enough to make him a ally." Nishi said and the others agreed with her.

"Hashimoto, Kamuro, rest properly today we have some work to do tomorrow."

12. Scouting the Enemies.

Kiyo POV

"sss~"

Huh?

"Hisssss~"

I woke up only to hear some strange voices.

As I got out of the tent I was sleeping in and looked around I saw a snake moving slowly towards the girls tent.

"And I thought it was Hashimoto..." I muttered to myself before picking up a branch from the ground as I closed in on the snake.

"Hissss~" As I was around 5 metres behind one of the girls tent opened.

Unfortunately it was the same tent in front of which the snake was.

The person who peeked out was Kamuro. As she peeked out she noticed me standing alone.

"Wh-What are you d-doing?" She asked me in a low voice not wanting to wake anyone else up. Looks like she has yet to notice the snake.

'He looks even scarier in the dark...' Kamuro thought.

Instead of saying anything else I moved forwards and swung the branch at the snake.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!" Kamuro screamed as she covered her head with her arms.

"Wh-What happened!?" one of the many girls who woke up asked the trembling Kamuro who just pointed towards me.

I just picked up the now dead snake and showed it to the girl.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!" She too screamed as she zipped up the tent where the others tried to calm them down.

From the boys tent Yahiko came out followed by some of my other classmates.

"Wh-What's happening?" he also questioned.

Everyone just keeps on asking the same question... Getting a bit irritated, I just threw the dead snake at him.

As the snake landed on his shoulder and Yahiko finally realised what it is, his eyes widened and he fainted at the spot.

As he laid on the ground I bent towards him and picked him up. Carrying him back towards my other classmates.

"Ayanokoji, care to explain what happened?" Katsuragi who was standing at the tent's entrance asked me.

"Snake happened." I said and everyone glanced at Hashimoto who just came out of the tent.

"I-I didn't do anything!" Hashimoto said waving his arms.

"Snake... Not snekk" I said clearing the misunderstanding.

"It's almost time for roll call, I'll explain it later." I said pointing towards Mashima sensei who was calling us for the morning roll call.

After that I explained to them about the events that happened a few moments ago.

Many sighed in relief as there wasn't any major problem.

"Still I wonder why are there snakes on the island, isn't that dangerous?"

"Yeah, shouldn't the school be more careful?"

My classmates voiced out their complaints.

Of course its natural for there to be snakes on an uninhabited island like the one we are currently on.

But that doesn't change the fact that there should be measures taken for the safety of the students.

"Actually, the snake was defanged. So it's basically harmless." I told them.

When I'd picked up the snake I noticed that it was missing its teeth. Neither was it a poisonous or venomous breed.

It wasn't a constrictor either so it won't be able to kill someone by suffocating them...

"Does that mean that the school defanged all the snakes on the island?"

"Wouldn't it be better if they just remove them from the island instead of defanging them?"

My classmates asked not being able to understand the meaning behind schools actions.

"That aside we really need to keep Ayanokoji from heading out in the middle of the night... No offence but you almost ended up traumatizing a girl with your eyes..." One of the boys said.

"Traumatize is a heavy word..." I said and they all moved their head sideways denying it.

"Hey Katsuragi, I'm going to check the other bases along with Hashimoto and Kamuro, I might end up finding some useful information that way." I said and he nodded at me.

Since we already had the morning roll call it was the best time to go around to look at how other classes are doing.

Leaving the tent I went towards the girls tent searching for Kamuro.

"Umm, do you know where Kamuro is?" I asked a girl standing by the tent.

"O-Oh yeah she just went to take a shower." She said pointing towards the portable shower we had the school set up for our class.

"I see, can you tell her to meet me when she gets out?" I asked her and she just nodded at me.

I went around searching for Hashimoto.

There he is-

"In the name of the Lord of snakes Volos, I Hashimoto Masayoshi..."

Hashimoto was chanting some spells on the body of the dead snake...

"..."

On second thoughts Kamuro will do. I said in my head and went back.

After some time Kamuro came back from inside the changing room drying her long hair using a towel.

"Let's go." I said as I approached her.

"Where's Hashimoto? Wait on second thoughts don't tell me..." She said and I nodded at her.

After walking for about 20 minutes Kamuro asked me something.

"Where are we going?"

"Class D's base camp."

"Do you know where it is?"

"Nope."

"Don't tell me you just started walking in a random direction, hoping that Class D's base camp will be there waiting for you?"

"Look." I said pointing at the beach in front of us where there were voices of some boys could be heard.

"H-How are you so lucky?" She asked me.

"I just walked in the direction from where Ryuuen arrived yesterday. It just so happened to be where Class D's base is... Apparently they chose the beach."

I said as we got closer and got a good look at their base camp.

"Did Ryuuen go ahead and sell his brain?" Kamuro said as we saw a sight we didn't really expect.

They had installed temporary toilets and shower rooms. But they also had a tarp to protect against sunlight, a barbecue, chairs, and a parasol. They had snacks and drinks. Everything required for a good, relaxing time was here. We smelled the smoke of cooking meat, and heard laughter. Jet skis whizzed past the shoreline.

Also... they had ice cream...

"Why would he go ahead and spend their points so recklessly?"

Ice cream... is he trying to mock me?

"Hey are you listening to me!?" Kamuro said to me.

Apparently I was lost in my thoughts and ended up ignoring her.

"Yeah, I'm listening."

"You were thinking about Ice-cream weren't you?"

"N-No."

"You'll get cavities if you eat them all the time!"

"B-But-"

"No buts, now what are we supposed to do."

"Umm let's go and meet Ryuuen."

Maybe I can ask him for an Ice cream.

"Why? You're not planning on asking him for Ice cream are you?"

"Don't ask too much or I'll come to your tent at night." I said trying to scare her off. But for some reason she blushed and started walking towards the beach in a quick pace.

There was Ryuuen leaning over his chair having a chat with Horikita and Kushida.Looks like they're here to check on other classes as well. Kushida still seems to be trying to get close to Horikita.

I let out a sigh at the sight of Horikita but nonetheless decided to head over to them.

"If the person on top is incompetent, those below him will suffer. This is pitiful," I heard Horikita say.

Looks like she has the idea that Ryuuen is just spending his points and has no strategy for winning the exam.

Ryuuen noticing my and Kamuro's presence called us closer like a owner calling his dogs. I don't particularly care about these things but Kamuro gave Ryuuen a disgusted look.

Wait... Isn't that her usual look?

"Kukuku looks like we have some more guests." Ryuuen said and Horikita and Kushida also looked towards us.

Horikita immediately glared at me and Kushida just gave me a light wave.

"What business do you have with me?" He asked me getting straight to the point.

Looks like he dislikes me for getting in his way of making a deal with Class A.

From what I've seen it looks like he's ended up forming one with Class B. Although I'm sure it must've been hard for him to convince Class B as from what I've heard Ryuuen had attacked Class B in the past before coming for Class D.

Unfortunately for him I was able to use the opportunity to take him down. Now he and his class are sitting at the bottom with 0 points.

Still if he hasn't formed a deal with Class B then what he is doing is is actually unbelievable.

Class D has nowhere near enough points for him to make a deal of this large scale with so that's out of the question.

"Just scouting our enemies you can say." I replied.

"With Ryuuen spending all those points recklessly, he doesn't qualify as an enemy. He's just going to drag him and his classmates down." Horikita said trying to mock Ryuuen.

Speaking of Horikita she keeps on rubbing her right arm around every 30 seconds or so.

Is she ill? If so she's not doing a good job hiding that fact.

"Kukuku looks like Suzune understands it more than you. We're just trying to enjoy our vacation. We're not your enemies."

Ryuuen would've retort back at Horikita but he wants them to feel that Class C is just stupidly wasting their points and not a part of the competition.

Of course I can ruin his plan by telling Horikita and Kushida about my suspicions, but I have another goal.

"I see, well I would like to talk with you alone if possible." I said indirectly asking Horikita and Kushida to leave.

"I also want to listen to what you're going to talk about." Horikita said.

Now I think she has a damaged brain.

"I don't think anyone here gives a fuck about what you want. If you don't leave I'll just kick you out." Ryuuen said and Horikita glared at him.

"Whatever, I'm sure Class D will end up with 0 points anyway." Horikita was about to leave the beach but then turned around as if she remembered something.

"There is one more piece of business. You know Ibuki, of course?"

"Yeah. She's a member of our class. What about her?

"Her face is swollen. Who did that to her?"

"Ah. She ran out of here rather suddenly. She went looking for help from another class in the end? Pathetic girl."

Ryuuen snorted in disgust, then laid back in his chair. Apparently he's planning on using Ibuki as a spy to find out Class D's leader.

"There are helpless idiots in this world. A ruler doesn't need subordinates who disobey orders. We determined that I would use our class points to my liking. That's the fact of the matter. Besides, it's pointless to raise the banner of revolution against the ruling class."

When he says we I'm pretty sure he means himself...

"In other words, Ibuki-san clashed with you when you wanted to spend points."

"Well, you could say that. That's why she got a light punishment."

He made a gesture like slapping someone's cheek. Ryuuen had indeed hit her.

"H-How can you raise your hands on your own classmates... That's so cruel." Kushida who was quite until now said in a sad tone.

Well at least her acting skills are on par.

"Oh you want an example?" Ryuuen grinned as he said that.

Although I'm sure Ryuuen won't attack any of the two girls as Kamuro and I are present and can act as witnesses to file a complaint against him.

"I'm leaving, if I stay any longer with these freaks I'll probably lose my mind." Horikita said leaving towards the bushes with Kushida following her.

"So, what you wanted to talk bout?" Ryuuen asked facing us with a serious expression.

"You were successful in making a deal with Class B huh?"

"Kukuku of course, I just had some of my dogs beg in front of her and she ended up agreeing."

By she Ryuuen probably referred to Ichinose. Looks like Class B is much more naive than I'd thought.

Even after watching and fighting against his underhanded strategies, they decided to make the deal with Ryuuen anyways.

In a way it wouldn't be the worst thing to do, but that depends on the contents of the deal and Ryuuen's plan.

"Well, that doesn't matter to me. I'm here to make a deal with you."

I told him getting straight to the point.

"Kukuku and what might that be?"

"I'm willing to sell you the name of Class A's leader along with proof." I said and both Ryuuen's and Kamuro's eyes widened at my statement.

"H-Hey, Ayanokoji-Kun I think you mistakenly said Class A..." Kamuro said from behind me still shocked.

Meanwhile Ryuuen started to laugh like a maniac.

"And what are the conditions?" Ryuuen asked me.

"You'll pay me a million points in the next 4 months." I said.

"A-Ayanokoji what're you thinking?" Kamuro asked me from behind.

I just ignored Kamuro and waited for Ryuuen's response.

"That's too much, I don't have that kind of money." Ryuuen said in a disinterested tone.

"By guessing Class A's leader you'll be able to gain 50cp and Class A would lose 50cp. That'll reduce the difference between our classes by 100cp. By those 50cp Class D will be able to collect those 1 million private points in 5 months. Moreover with your deal with Class B you wouldn't have a problem paying before the given time. Class D will continue to receive the private points from those 50cp and Class A wouldn't gain the private points from the 50cp we lose. In addition to that Class A would also lose all of the bonus points it would've gained. You can also sell the name of the leader of Class A to the other Classes. It's a deal full of benefits for you."

Ryuuen took some time thinking about what u said before looking back at me.

"What's your reason for doing this?" Ryuuen asked me.

"Isn't it obvious? With 20 Million private points you can transfer classes. After obtaining those all I need to do is wait until the end moment before transferring to the Class A at that time. With the current faction war going inside Class A it won't function properly. I need to start collecting points as soon as possible."

I gave him a believable explanation. With this Ryuuen's impression of me would change to someone who is just desperate to graduate from Class A.

"Kukuku, and what about her?" He said pointing towards Kamuro who has been glaring at me for the past few minutes

"She knows what will happen to her if she betrays me."

"Is that so huh, when will you show me the proof of the leaders identity." Ryuuen asked.

"Right now."

"Very well, Ishizaki! Bring me a paper and a pen!" Ryuuen shouted calling out Ishizaki, one of his classmates who was also involved in the Class D incident.

After that Ishizaki brought the paper and pen and handed them over to Ryuuen.

I told him the details of the contract and he wrote them on the paper and signed it after reading it multiple times.

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka of Class A will provide Ryuuen Kakeru of Class D with the identity of Class A's leader along with proof.

In exchange Ryuuen Kakeru of Class D will have to pay the sum of 1 million private points to Ayanokoji within the next 4 months.

Also Ryuuen will give Ayanokoji a ice cream.

"Now for the proof." I said taking out the leaders card from my pocket and tossing it over to Ryuuen.

He stared at the card flipping it around making sure its the real deal.

"Kukuku, pleasure working with you." He laughed tossing the card back.

"Likewise."

With that we left Class C's base with an ice cream in my mouth.

"Ayanokoji-Kun... What are you planning?" Kamuro asked me as we started heading off towards where I saw Horikita and Kushida go.

"Don't worry, you'll understand everything when the results are announced. Till then all I can ask you to do is trust me." I said to her as we kept on moving forward.

"Also how the hell do you have the leaders card."

"Oh, I stole it from Yahiko when I threw the dead snake at him. It's good that he was the one holding it and not Katsuragi or else it would've taken a lot more effort getting the card."

"I-I see..."

After some time we finally arrived near a river which is supposedly Class C's base. Inside the cave Class A had occupied, the mechanism had been embedded into the wall, but here at the river's edge, the equipment was installed on an unnaturally placed boulder.

The river was about ten meters wide, and the water flowed gently. It was amazing. Deep forests and sandy roads surrounded the river, but this place looked as if it had been maintained. I doubted this location was so naturally perfect. The school had likely set it up for this purpose.

At first sight anyone would say that this spot is better than that of our Class. But the point remains that due to the 2 additional spots; The hut and the tower, Class A will be able to gain more bonus points. In addition we were also able to find fishing poles in the hut.

Also as the spot mechanism for our Class is inside the cave it'll be nearly impossible for a spy to find out our leader when we occupy it.

The area Class C had selected as their camp is surrounded by forest on all sides. Meaning that they wouldn't notice a spy in the brushwood. Due to this it's possible to find the leaders identity by using a spy. Talking about spy there was a blue haired girl sitting alone by a tree

The way she was isolated from the others she didn't seem like one of them. Looking around their base still from a bit away I noticed that they had set up a temporary toilet along with 2 extra tents. They also have the river for water and for fishing freshwater fishes.

It seems like they're doing quite alright.

"I don't see Kushida or Horikita anywhere..." Kamuro said to me.

"They probably went to check out the other classes like us."

"What now?" Kamuro asked me.

"I need to make sure Yahiko has the card back as they will go to occupy the spots in around one hour. Let's go back."

Even though we wouldn't be able to scout the Class B's camp today going back right nnow is the best move.

12.5 The Deal With The Dragon

1st Day of the Island exam.

After getting rejected by Kiyo.

Ryuuen POV

I had initially planned to form the contract with Class A. But now that they refused it I have no choice but to go to Class B.

Considering that Sakayanagi was not present on the island forming the deal with Katsuragi shouldn't have been too much of a problem.

But the third leader of their Class, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka ended up getting in my way and convinced Katsuragi to reject my proposal.

The only reason I'd even made the backup plan of forming the deal with Class B is because of his existence.

Not only is he the only first year to join the student council, he also ended up scoring 101 points in the midterms.

When I researched a bit more about him I found out that he's one of the 3 people in Class A who want to take the position of the leader.

Considering his existence it was indeed possible that I fail to make the deal with Class A, so I'd already considered a backup plan in that case.

"Ryuuen-Kun... What are you doing here?" Ichinose asked me, her other classmates who noticed me were also vary of me.

After walking away from Katsuragi and Ayanokoji I'd now arrived at the Class B's base camp.

"Kukuku, no need to be so wary of me. I'm here to form an alliance."

"Alliance? Don't joke around, why would we ever want to form an alliance with you of all people!" Kanzaki shouted at me.

"Kuku isn't that all the more reason to do that? If we form an alliance you won't have to worry 'bout getting attacked from us."

"Ichinose, he's dangerous.This is probably one of his underhanded strategies, we shouldn't listen to him." Kanzaki kept on trying to keep Ichinose from hearing what I've got to say.

"Kukuku, you can come and listen to what I've gotta say too. If you don't like my idea we can just go on our own way."

Kanzaki who was still skeptical of me looked towards Ichinose who nodded at him. They both then moved closer to me and I told them about the contract.

"I see... so Class C will buy us all we need using 200 points and provide us with the name of the leader of one of the other Class. In exchange every student of Class B will transfer 20,000 points to Ryuuen-Kun every month." Ichinose said as she read the contract.

"While its certainly a deal which favors us more than him... I don't know if its a good idea to form a deal with Ryuuen." Kanzaki said to Ichinose who was thinking about what to do.

After thinking for around a minute she opened her eyes and spoke up.

"I would like to change some things in the deal."

"Kukuku, and what are those things you want to change?"

"The first and the most important condition is that Class C is not allowed to guess the leader of Class B and vice-versa."

So neither of our Classes would be guessing the name of the leader of the other Class.

"If we're forming an alliance isn't that a natural rule?" Kanzaki asked Ichinose. Wondering why she is asking for such an obvious agreement.

"While it's true that not guessing each other's leaders would be common knowledge, but even if Ryuuen-Kun would do any such thing there would be no way for us to punish him for that. Even if we have all of our Classmates testify it won't mean much. But if this point is made clear in the contract then there would be no chance of betrayal." Ichinose said seeing through my plan.

As long as It wasn't in the contract there was nothing stopping me from guessing Class B's leader, but now that she's asked for it to be in the deal, there's no way for me to deny it.

If I do, my intentions of betraying them would be clear.

"Of course, go ahead and write that in the contract, although I hadn't planned on any such things in the first place."

"Of course you didn't." Ichinose said in a sarcastic voice and a smile as she wrote the condition in the contract.

"The second condition is that you'll write the name of the leader which you're providing us in front if us. If we're indeed going to guess the same leader I don't think that should be a problem." Ichinose continued with the demands.

If I'm providing them with the leader of Class A, then I'll be guessing the leader's name in front of Ichinose.

"Sure, that's all?"

"Yeah, as long as you agree to these conditions, I don't have any problems forming the deal with you." Ichinose said and we proceeded to sign the contract.

Ichinose and I both took one copy of the contract and I walked back to the beach.

Yeah this was just a short chapter to show the deal between Ryuuen and Class B.

I'll still try, updating this fic in under a week.

13. Finding the leaders

Kiyo POV

After leaving the Class D base camp I along with Kamuro arrived at the cave.

Some of my classmates had gone in the jungles in the groups, in search of resources which can help minimize the use of our points.

On the first day we had decided to purchase 2 tents, a shower, a toilet, drinking water and nutritional food set for the whole class.

This morning we had purchased another food set and drinking water.

The food and drinking water normally cost six points per individual unit, but as a set it only cost ten points. Ten points per meal eaten twice a day came to a daily loss of twenty points.

The two additional tents we bought cost us 20 points and same goes for the toilet and the shower.

We have currently spent 80 points which were all reasonable.

{ 20 points for food and water.20 points for additional tents.20 points for the toilet.20 points for the shower. }

If we buy the food set once again today and twice everyday for the next 5 days, it'll cost us 110 points.

If we manage to put up with it on the last day and skip a meal, then the deduction would equal 100 points.

Considering we have 3 spots in possession i.e the Cave, the hut and the tower we are able to receive 9 bonus points daily by occupying them.

We received 3 bonus points yesterday and 3 this morning. We will receive 6 more points today by occupying the 3 spots.

If we are able to keep on occupying the spots till the end of the exam we will receive 45 more bonus points for the next 5 days.

That brings it to a total of 58 bonus points.

We also got some fishing rods from the hut which we can use to catch fishes from the nearby river.

For every time we manage to find food or water to make it through the day, we can adjust our calculations and save more points.

All that aside in around 30 minutes, Yahiko and the group assigned for him to go along with to capture the spots would be leaving. I decided to slip the leader's card in Yahiko's pocket just as I was about to walk past him.

That went smoother than I'd expected...

Mainly because Yahiko is being a little more carefree around his classmates.

After renewing the cave Yahiko along with the others acting as his cover went in a group to renew the other 2 spots.

The ones gone along with Yahiko are all members of Katsuragi faction. Katsuragi himself decided to go along with them to make sure that no one is able to find the leader of Class A.

They should be arriving soon...

"Ayanokoji-Kun!" A voice called out to me. It was Nishi who was holding a disposable lunch box, waving at me. Sitting beside her were Motodoi and Kamuro.

They were sitting on some leaves which they were using for cushioning. The inside of the cave has been properly reinforced and even the ground inside is not nearly as rough as compared to outside.

Even so the ground being ground was still hard so by piling up some leaves they were able to make it comfortable to sit on.

"Here, you didn't have breakfast yet right? We saved your share." She said with a smile as she handed me the box.

"Thank you." I replied and sat on another pile of leaves they'd prepared for me. I have some really caring classmates.

There was one pile for Hashimoto too but he was not here.

"Where's Hashimoto?"

"He's mourning... just let him be for the time being."

"Sure I guess."

I'm interested in learning more about that topic. I'll ask Hashimoto about that later.

"Did you guys found any information when you visited the other classes base camp?"

"Yeah, the leader of Class D."

"Oh nice- Wait What!?" Nishi shouted shocked by my words.

"S-Sorry, Sorry hehe." She said apologizing to our classmates who thought something happened.

"Is it Ryuuen?" Kamuro asked me.

"Yes, how did you know?" I asked her. Did she also notice the transceiver he had near him and connected the dots?

"Well Ryuuen was the only Class D student you talked to." Kamuro replied.

Looks like I hoped for a bit too much...

Well still at least her guess was right.

I then proceeded to explain to them about how I noticed the transceiver he had and that he will be staying on the island till the end.

"Wow it's so cool that you were able to figure all that out just because of his small mistake." Nishi praised me.

"Well that's 50 points for us."

"Should we tell Katsuragi about it?" Motodoi asked me.

"Not yet. I'll tell him on the past day of the exam."

There's no point in telling Katsuragi about that right now. If I told Katsuragi about it right now and Ryuuen ends up retiring before the exam ends the blame of guessing the leader wrong would be all on me.

"You guys are comfortable here?" I ask them

"Yeah, it's at least better than sitting in the ground directly."

"I see."

"Who are you guys!? What class are you from!?" I heard a loud voice come from near the entrance of the cave we were sitting in.

Since we had covered the entrance of the cave with several vinyl sheets joined together into one giant tarp, so that no one from the outside an see inside the cave, I decided to exit the cave to see who had arrived here.

"We came to snoop. You have a problem?" I heard the voice from outside. It certainly didn't make me happy.

"And what if I do?" I said as I came out of the cave. "Is there anything someone like you can do about it?"

As soon as she heard my voice Horikita flinched. She was still accompanied by Kushida who waved at me from behind her.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Horikita said while glaring at me.

"Exactly what I said. If I have a problem with you snooping around in my class's base, is there anything you can do about it?" I glared back at her as I said my words. The originally fearless Horikita was now trembling where she stood.

I looked around to see if a particular person was waiting nearby or not. Then I got closer to Horikita and started whispering something in her ear.

"I pity Manabu, for he had to see the pitiful face of such a disgraceful sister more than half his life."

As I said those words Horikita snapped and rushed at me, trying to punch me in my stomach. I intentionally let her hit me and fell to the ground. Horikita then continued to punch me several times before being stopped by Mashima sensei.

"A-Ayanokoji-Kun are you fine!?" Kushida said as she approached me. Soon enough most of my classmates nearby also showed up near us and asked me if I was fine.

"I'm fine don't worry about me." I said as I wiped some of the blood from my nose.

Kushida then went ahead and hugged me. Then Nishi, Motodoi and Kamuro who were standing behind me also proceeded to hug me.

8 soft sensations all over my body.

After a few minutes they all let go of me as Mashima sensei came near us.

"Horikita Suzune of Class C has been disqualified from the special exam for attacking Ayanokoji Kiyotaka of Class A. Class C will get a 50 points penalty for her actions." He announced to us.

"She deserved it!"

"What a bitch, attacking someone like that."

"She's truly a defective!"

Since no one heard me provoke Horikita and Kushdia also feigned ignorance, my classmates thought that Horkita was the one at fault.

"Even that day in front of the convenience store she stabbed Ayanokoji with a compass. She's a crazy bitch." One of my classmates who had witnessed Horikita stabbing me that day said.

All went according to my plan.

Hashimoto POV

It's our fourth day on the island and currently I'm sitting on a tree near the Class B's base camp.

It has been around a hour since I came here and I haven't found any useful information.

Ayanokoji had given me these binoculars which I have with me right now.

Apparently he had found them in the tower we occupy and thought that it can be of good use for us to spy onto the base camp to find the leader's of the other classes.

He has given me the responsibility to find Class B's leader. He said that he'll find out Class D's leader himself so I didn't question it any further.

Currently the place I'm looking at is the spot collection apparatus. Or whatever it is called.

Well that's not the important thing right now.

The important thing is that sitting on top of a tree for hours is highly uncomfortable, boring and dangerous.

Also the fact that the only ones near the apparatus are girls makes me look like a pervert.

"Honami-Chan! Its time for renewing the spot." A voice call out to Ichinose. It was a short female classmate of her's; Chihiro Shiranami.

It's time for them to capture the spot. Finally I can get this done with.

Around half of their classmates gather around near the device trying to blend in the leader. Fortunately because I'm far away from them, they won't be able to notice me and because of the elevation of the tree I'll be able to figure out the leader among them.

As they all gathered around I just kept on looking at the place where the card will be scanned. It will be easier for me to just read the name engraved on the card than trying to figure out the person who is holding it.

As one of the hands reached out to claim the spot I focus on the card its holding and am able to read the name engraved on it.

'Chihiro Shiranami'

Yesss!!!

Finally I was able to find out their leader. Finally I can get off this tree and rest for some time.

"Fuck yeah!"

I unintentionally screamed gaining attention of the Class B students.

Oh no...

I started to get down from the tree and quickly make my way out of the area running towards our Class's base camp.

Kiyo POV

"I'll be back soon." I say to my friends as I start to walk away from our base camp towards the forest.

Since it is currently the fourth day of our stay at the island and there seem to be no issues at our base camp I decided that its the best time for us to start searching for the other Class's leaders.

Well Hashimoto is the one who'll be searching the Class B's leader.

As for me...

"Here you are." Kushida said as she noticed me.

"Did you wait too long?" I asked her.

It would make her absence more suspicious if she didn't return to her class's base before long.

"Not really, just got here." She replied as I got closer to her.

"You have it with you?" I asked her and she just took out a key card from her pocket and gave it to me.

"I see. You indeed did a great job." I praised her.

"Of course, it wasn't exactly a hard thing to do you know." She replied to me.

"Well then, we should both be heading back." I said and handed her the card back.

"Wh-Wha- you don't have to leave this early do you? We barely got to talk!" Kushida said seemingly unhappy about me walking away so soon.

"If you stay here for too long your classmates will get suspicious of you." I said. Although given how much trust her classmates have in Kushida they probably wouldn't really think much about it.

"Don't worry, I told them that I'm going to look around for some fruits and stuff, currently my class is already in quite the chaos anyways."

"Hmm? What happened?" I asked her. While Class C isn't anywhere near united, Kushida's words make it seems like the situation at her Class is something more than her classmates butting heads over some minor issues.

Kushida then began explaining to me about the situation at her Class.

"This morning when we woke up, one of my female classmates had her underwear missing. She along with most of the other girls in the class started to blame the boys, accusing them of stealing it. My classmates were already furious over the 50 point penalty from Horikita's actions and the 30 point penalty from Koenji retiring. This just added fuel to the fire."

While a missing underwear doesn't means that it was stolen, Kushida's male classmates don't exactly have a good reputation, especially the 3 idiots. It was pretty much inevitable that the furious and stupid girls would just go ahead and blame the boys of stealing the underwear.

"After that they made Hirata, check the bags of all the boys and their pockets. Even so they didn't find anything with them. But the girls still furious, went on to accuse the boys and asked Hirata to move their tents away from the one's near the boys."

Even though they weren't able to find the underwear with the boys they accused them? It's more likely that the girl had just lost her underwear. Or it could've been the actions of Ibuki, who'd been sent as a spy by Ryuuen.

"I see... just don't let your guard down. Make sure Ibuki doesn't realise about you being the leader.

I said to her. As the card that Kushida had shown to me had the name Kushida Kikyo on it.

Yoooooooooooooooooo

Well I know that the strategies with which Kiyo found the leaders of Class B and Class C here weren't anything fancy.

That's because Author san lacks big brain energy to make big brain statistics. And even if I do come up with something I'm pretty sure it'll be full of use of plot convenience which I'd rather not...

Now to answer any questions you might have related to the chapter.

Q- Why didn't Mashima sensei punish Kiyo for provoking Horikita first?

A- Because there was no proof of the fact that Kiyo provoked Horikita. What was evident was the fact that Horikita attacked Kiyo. It's Horikita's word against Kiyo so Horikita can't prove shit. But Mashima sensei saw Horikita hit Kiyo so she will get punished for her actions.

Mashima sensei might be a good guy and would've definitely punished Kiyo if he had any evidence against him, but he didn't.

Q- Why is Kushida the leader of Class C?

A- Because Kushida has gained great trust of her classmates by helping them pass through the midterms and saving Sudog.

Due to this Sudo simps on Kushida instead of Horikita. No one in the Class acknowledges Horikita as someone smart as she hasn't done anything other than acting all high and mighty. She has nothing to boast about other than her academics so she isn't considered as someone responsible as well.

Due to this Kushida was deemed to be the responsible person for being the leader. Even though she stands out she can just convince her classmates by saying that no one is going to guess her as the leader just because she's popular and would rather think that Class C won't make someone popular their leader.

This'll be enough to convince the defects.

14. The End Of The Island Exam

Kiyo POV

It's finally the last day of our 7 day long special exam. I woke up a little earlier than usual to go around the island and check out some things.

My first destination being Class B's base camp.

I took out the binoculars, which I took back from Hashimoto and sat on top of a tree as I wait for the students to wake up.

I hope no one notices me, I'd rather not be branded off as a pervert.

Hashimoto probably thought of the same thing when I gave him the task to find out Class B's leader...

After waiting for around 30 minutes they started to wake up one by one. My target also came out of the girls tent soon enough. After noticing her presence, I decided to head for my next destination which is Class C's base camp.

As expected, the atmosphere in their base camp was quite gloomy.

There was visible tension between the girls and the boys of the class.

The girls tent had been moved far away from the boys tents. The shower was also placed near the girls tents, it seems like they aren't allowing the boys to use it.

All the students had looks of despair. Well given the 80 points they have lost due to Horikita and Koenji it isn't something I had not expected.

The boy named Hirata looked even more gloomy and was sitting a bit away from the others holding his head in his hands.

"Kiyotaka?" A voice called out to me as one of the students noticed my presence. It was Kushida, the person who's presence I'd wanted to confirm.

Kushida was sitting beside some other of her female classmates. Soon enough I'd gained the attention of all those girls.

It'll be hard to leave quickly now... that'll make them pretty suspicious of me .

I decided it would be best that I greet them and try to leave after that.

"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" Kushida asked me as I got closer to them.

"I was just strolling around as I woke up earlier than I'd thought, it was hard sleeping again as the tent was uncomfortable." I replied to her as I got closer to the group of girls.

The tent we'd set up weren't much uncomfortable as we'd used the same strategy of laying down leaves under the tent. It wasn't as good as a mattress, but it was much better than sleeping on the hard ground.

"Perhaps Ayanokoji-Kun got here to see Kikyo-Chan?" One of the girls asked me in a teasing tone.

I wasn't looking anyone in the eyes so that they won't be scared of me, surprising as it may be, it worked to some extent as the girls were conversing with me normally.

"That... isn't wrong." I said, it was a good excuse, it won't be much suspicious if I was here to meet my girlfriend.

After that the girls proceeded to tease Kushida, causing her to blush a little.

They did try to tease me too, not that it worked.

The girls had gotten a lot more cheerful as we conversed. They weren't thinking about the ongoing exam and the results anymore. We talked about trivial things, ignoring the class competition and rankings.

Maybe I've gotten a little too much involved in the fight between classes...

'Is it really necessary for me to lead the class?' 'Can't I just sit back and relax?'

Such thoughts kept on coming to my mind.

Meanwhile I was also being glared at by some of the boys. One of them was the same guy who had pissed his pants on the cruise.

While he was glaring at me our eyes met and he started shivering, I averted my gaze not wanting to look at his ugly face any longer.

I kept talking to the girls for some more time, the told me that they were worried about Hirata who had isolated himself from the class.

"Well, my classmates would be worried about me, I should get going now." I said as I stood up and started walking away from their base camp.

"Bye Ayanokoji-Kun!"

"Come meet us again!"

The girls said to me as I walked away waving back at them.

Well I don't need to check up on Ryuuen, since he needs to be on the island for guessing the leaders, he certainly won't drop out.

After I'm back at my class's base camp I walk towards where my friends were seated. They were having breakfast sitting on top of the stack of leaves.

"Ayanokoji-Kun? Where were you gone this early in the morning?" Nishi asked me as I sat down with them.

"Just had to check a few things, how's the Class doing?" I asked her and she gave me a sad smile as she looked around the base camp.

Flashback

Yahiko POV

I'm walking away from our base camp towards the hut which our Class is occupying.

Today I'd found a small note placed inside my bag. The note read :

Yahiko-Kun, please come at the hut tonight, there's something I want to tell you3

Don't tell about this to anyone else, or I'll be very very sad :'(

Even someone who is in Class D could figure out that this was a... confession!

Well given how handsome I am it's natural that girls would take interest in me.

When a girl confesses to you, it's the responsibility of the man to give her an honest answer.

Complying with her request I didn't tell anyone about this. Not even Katsuragi-San.

Sorry Katsuragi-San, but as the saying says, hoes before bros.

As Yahiko was about to reach the cave I approached him from behind and delivered a chop to his neck knocking him out.

I made sure to use just enough power that he is knocked unconscious.

After that I picked his unconscious body up and started walking towards the beach where the teacher's had set up their tent.

It's still surprising how easily he walked into the trap I'd set up.

As I got closer to the tent the two teachers present finally noticed me.

Mahima-sensei quickly got up and approached me.

"What happened?" he asked me looking at the unconscious Yahiko.

"He wasn't feeling well and passed out, I decided to bring him to the teachers." I said to sensei as I laid down Yahiko on the stretcher which Chabashira sensei had brought.

"I see... Your class will be taking a 30 point penalty if he retires, are you sure you want us to take him to the ship?" Mashima-sensei asked me.

"Yes, the health of my classmates is more important to me than class points."

Hearing my response, Mashima-sensei motioned Chabashira-sensei to take Yahiko to the medical staff waiting on the cruise.

After looking around to check whether there was anyone around us Mashima-sensei faced me and spoke up.

"Leaders can't be changed without a good reason. The dropping out of your class's leader during the test is a good enough reason for the leader to be changed. Please tell me the name of the new leader for Class A so that I can give you the new card. "

I got closer to Mashima-sensei and said the name of the new leader in a voice which only he could hear.

After getting the new card from Mashima-sensei I started to return to my base camp.

As I was walking through the forest I noticed the shadow of a person hiding behind one of the trees.

As I was about to pass through the tree, the person who was hiding tried to attack me from behind, which I dodged by dashing forward.

"Kukuku, nice reflexes." The person who had attacked me said.

"That retarded laugh... Ryuuen." Since I'd not gotten a clear look at the face of the attacker, I recognised him with his voice... Or rather his laugh. Is it a laugh? I don't know...

"Huh?! What did you say?"

Looks like I said something he didn't like.

"What do you want?" I asked him as he got closer to me with a creepy grin on his face.

"It was you wasn't it? The one who saved those defects from my attack at their class? No, more like you used that opportunity to deal damage against me."

Looks like he has found out about my actions behind that incident.

"Not only that, but you sold me the name of the leader just to change it at the end... You've caused quite a lot of problems for me looks like I will have to teach you a lesson."

He must've thought about why I made Yahiko retire and found out the way I can change my class's leader.

Looks like he's much more smart than I'd thought. Not only did he take a completely different and risky strategy for the exam. He also found out about my intentions.

"And how are you planning on doing that?"

Given that he attacked me here and the fact that we are in the middle of the forest, away from the teacher's tent. I can most likely guess his next actions.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to beat you up." Ryuuen said as he charged at me with his balled up fist.

I step to my right, dodging his punch and push him into the bushes.

"Kukuku, so you're not only smart but also good at fighting, but that won't be enough to win against me." Ryuuen said as he got up from the bushes I'd thrown him in.

"You already knew that didn't you? But you still decided to fight against me all by yourself."

Given how much attention I'd gained over the past few months and the fact that Ryuuen was looking for the person who had dealt that heavy blow on his class, he would've probably monitored me.

I'd shown my excellent abilities in academics with my 101 marks and my physical abilities in the swimming and physical tests we had.

If he knew that I have that level of physical power, then he should've brought more people along with him to beat me up. But all he did was show up alone.

"You came here alone because even if the worse case scenario happens and you end up getting punished, you'd rather not have your classmates punished along with you." As I said that Ryuuen glared at me and charged at me again.

I catched his punch with my right hand and spoke up once again.

"The fact that you almost ended up having 3 of your classmates expelled because of your actions made you take this decision."

Reckless as Ryuuen may be, he promised his classmates that he'll have them all graduate from Class A.

For that he knew that taking me down was one of the things he'll have to do. But if he was caught along with his classmates then they would have to face harsh punishment along with him.

I started to harden my grip on his palm.

"Ugh... Where did you get this strength... You fucking monster."

"Since due to you I was able to have Ice cream, I'll tell you something. The way you are right now, you'll never be ale to win against me. The next time you challenge me, do it when you think you actually have a chance of winning."

I push him on the ground and walk away towards the base camp leaving Ryuuen alone in the middle of the forest.

"Where's Yahiko?" Katsuragi asked our classmates looking around the base, searching for his disciple.

"Hmm... Dunno, last I saw him, he was walking towards thepath leading towards the hut." replied one of my classmate.

"The hut? Why would he go there alone?" Katsuragi was confused, Yahiko always asked Katsuragi before taking any actions. Him dissappearing during the exam was something Katsuragi hadn't expected.

"Yahiko retired earlier tonight." Mashima-sensei said as he was setting his tent a bit away from ours.

"Wh-What!?"

"H-He retired? Did something happen to him?" one of Yahiko's friend asked.

"He was unconscious and was taken on the ship, you can ask him about what happened to him after the end of the exam." Mashima-sensei entered his tent after he said that.

As I looked around, I saw my classmates panicking as they surround Katsuragi, asking him for an explanation.

I stood up and walked closer towards Katsuragi.

"Katsuragi." I called out to him. Even though my classmates were being loud, my naturally cold voice silenced them immediately.

"Not only did Yahiko retire from the exam causing us a 30 point penalty. But the fact that he was found unconscious with no one around him is quite suspicious, don't you think?"

"Wh-What are you trying to say?" One of my classmates asked me and I continued.

"Yahiko moved away from the base camp, late at night, without telling anyone, not even his master. Later he was found unconscious, it's highly possible that he tried to sell the leader's identity to the other classes. But his plan failed and the person he was trying to deal with knocked him unconscious and found the leaders card in his pocket." As I finished, my classmates started to talk among themselves about the possibility of what I said being true.

"But violence is against the rules. No one would do such a thing right?" one of my other classmate asked me.

"Indeed violence is against the rules. But if there's no evidence then the one guilty can't be punished. Normally there won't be anyone who'll do such a thing, no one except Ryuuen. The person who has ruled his class using violence won't hesitate using it against someone else, now would he?"

"Nothing is confirmed, we need to stay calm and ask Yahiko about it later. Panicking right now won't do us any good." Katsuragi said to our classmates but my words were already stuck in their minds by now.

They'll all wonder why Yahiko, the person assigned as the leader in the special exam, the person who is holding the leaders card, would leave the base camp late at night just to be found unconscious later.

My classmates who are following Sakayanagi started to blame Katsuragi for Yahiko's incompetence and possible betrayal.

While Katsuragi's followers tried to back Katsuragi up, it was obvious that some of them had their doubts.

Kiyo POV

After eating my breakfast with my friends me and my classmates started to clean up the area around the spot we'd occupied.

Mashima-sensei asked Katsuragi if he wanted to guess the leader of any other class, but he refused since he was unable to find out the identity of any other leader.

After that I followed Mashima-sensei and asked him to allow me to guess the leaders.

Since there was no rule stating that I can't guess the leaders Mashima-sensei allowed me to do so.

Now all I need to do is to wait for the results...

15. The Results Of The Island Exam.

Kiyo POV

Sitting on the chair set up by the school, under the shade we waited for the results to be announced.

On our left sat the students of Class B, followed by Class C.

The place left for Class D was completely deserted.

Of course that wasn't for long.

"Ryuen!? What's he doing here? Didn't all of the Class D students retire already."

One of my classmates said as he noticed the presence of the lone boy, standing in the place left for his class.

Due to the doubts I'd put in their minds, my classmates were already suspicious about Ryuuen being the person responsible for Yahiko's retirement.

Seeing the man himself standing here just raises the suspicions even more.

Ryuuen didn't have his signature grin on his face and looked annoyed. Probably not liking the fact that everything went according to my plan.

But Ryuuen had no options. If he wanted to complete the deal he'd made with Class B, he'll have to stay on the island till the end of the exam.

Noticing my gaze, Ryuuen glared at me.

But soon after that he grinned as he slowly drew nearer, as if thinking of something.

Now all the attention of my classmate was on us as Ryuuen stood in front of me.

My friends were giving me a worried look and Hashimoto got up from his chair and stood beside me.

"Good job ruining my plans you monster. But don't you dare think that it's over, I'll be destroying you and those underlings of your's soon enough."

"Ruining my plans? What does Ryuuen mean Ayanokoji? Also shouldn't you have retired from the island already?" Katsuragi asked confused by Ryuuen's words.

"Kukuku poor Katsubaldy, you're just as clueless as ever, how pitiful." Ryuuen said and walked away laughing.

How troublesome... Now I'll have to do the explaining.

Before anyone could ask me about what Ryuuen had just said Mashima sensei spoke up.

"Over this past week, we, your teachers, have closely watched your efforts in this special test. There were some students who took on the challenge honestly, head-on. There were some who devised schemes to tackle the test. Many things have happened, but overall, the test results were splendid. Good work."

The students appeared relieved to receive such straightforward praise from Mashima-sensei. It seemed like everyone was finally starting to believe the one-week test was really over.

"Well then, to get straight to the point. I would like to announce the results of the special test."

There probably wasn't a single person, not even Mashima-sensei himself, who had seen these test results.

"We will not accept any questions regarding the results, no exceptions. We would like you to accept the results you have been given, analyze them, and use them to help you for the next test. It is what it is. Don't wet yourselves over these results. You must accept reality, you know?"

"Now, we will announce the rankings. The lowest class is Class D and Class C, both with zero points."

Ryuuen was the only student from his Class who was standing on the beach. As soon as they heard Mashima-sensei everyone stared at him.

Even though he had made a surprise appearance on the last day his class took the last place with 0 points. It probably didn't make sense to majority of the students.

Coming in on second place is Class B with 200 points. And in first place is Class A with 301 points.

Timeskip

It's been a couple of hours since the results for the 7 days long special exam was announced. The results ended up shocking everyone. Class C students who ended up with 15 points were the most furious. Some of them ended up causing a commotion on the island after their points were revealed.

I explained to my classmates, how exactly did I manage to bring the class to the top and except some who thought of my methods as "too harsh" ended up supporting and thanking me.

With this Katsuragi had lost even more of his supporters and I'd gain some more. 5 people to be exact.

Morshige Takero, Yoshida Kenta, Matoba Shinji, Ishida Yuusuke and Nakajima Riko.

Everything went according to my plan. I won.

But...

"Kiyotaka?" A voice called me out snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes?"

"You were spacing out for quite some time there, is everything fine?"

"Yeah nothing you need to worry about. Also did things go according to plan in your Class?" I asked Kushida sitting beside me who just gave me a smile in response.

*Flashback to first day of special exam*

Kushida POV

"Horikita-San." I call out to Horikita who was sitting on a wooden log, isolated from the rest of the class.

It didn't look as if she cared about being alone or having no friends. This was the life Horikita Suzune has been living for quite some time now.

"What?" She asked me sternly. She probably doesn't want to talk with me unnecessarily, so I decided to get to the point.

"I was thinking about it for some time now and from what I understand, protecting the identity of our leader is one of the most important thing for us to do."

"Indeed, if a class gets to know about the identity of our leader then that'll increase the difference between our class points by 100. What do you want to say?" Horikita asked me to continue speaking now that the topic of conversation was something important.

"If even by accident, someone happens to notice the leaders card in my possession, then they would think that I'm the leader of our Class and probably guess it on the last day. But if Horikita-San holds the card with her, even if someone notices the card on you, they'll end up guessing you as our Class's leader. That way we would be able to save the Class from the 50 point penalty and the other Class would end up losing 50 points." I explained my idea to Horikita.

Or should I say Ayanokoji-Kun's idea...

"Why me?" Horikita asked with a glare. She made it obvious that she was being suspicious of me.

"Well because you give off the Aura of someone who's responsible. And since you're a loner you wouldn't carelessly talk about possessing the card either." I said and Horikita stared at me for some time before accepting my proposal.

*Flashback End*

Since Horikita was the one who possessed the leaders card for majority of the time. Kushida was easily able to pass on the blame of getting their leader's identity guessed to her.

This way even though Class C just had a miserable result they would mostly blame Horikita.

Due to Horikita losing her cool and hitting me Class C had to face a 50 point penalty.

Due to Horikita retiring Class C had to face a 30 point penalty.

And as far as Class C knows they also lost 50 points because Horikita wasn't able to hide their leader's identity.

Horikita's position in her Class is worse than she could've ever imagined.

Most of her classmates already hate her and no one will trust her word.

"Kiyotaka." I heard Kushida call me out again.

"Sorry I spaced out again." I replied looking at my side as Kushida pouts at me.

"Well the waiter was here and you were spaced out, so I ordered something for you that I think you might like. Is that fine?" She asked me.

"Yeah sure, it never hurts to try something new." I answered her.

And the island arc is finally finished.

In canon Morshige had left the Katsuragi faction and joined Sakayanagi faction so him leaving Katsuragi faction and joining Kiyo faction makes sense.

The others whom I made join Kiyo faction were just random Class A students who I'm gonna assume were originally in the Katsuragi faction.

For my fellow readers who want to know how exactly did the classes get those points here we go.

Class A :-

Positive points : 270 points 150 points from Kiyo guessing all three leaders 51 bonus points from the hut, the cave, the tower = 471 points

Negative Points : 30 from Yahiko's retirement 40 points for Shower and toilet 80 points for food and water. 20 points for boy's tents. = 170 points

(They managed to save some points by collecting food from island. Like one day Katsuragi brought corn which in Canon Kiyo had brought)

471 - 170 = 301

Class B

Positive points : 300 points 34 bonus points. = 334 points

(Didn't have to spend any points because of the deal with Ryuuen. Also I'll assume that Class B had found another spot to capture for bonus points since its pretty stupid for them to be siting on their base camp and not exploring the island even when they are buying everything for comfort using those points from Ryuuen.)

Negative points : 50 points for getting their leader guessed by Kiyo. 50 points for guessing Yahiko as Class A's leader. = 100 points. 34 bonus points removed due to getting their leader guessed.

334 - 134 = 200 points.

Class C (Original defects)

Positive points : 300 points 17 bonus points = 317

Negative points : 50 points due to Horikita assaulting Kiyo. 30 points due to her retirement. 30 points due to Koenji' 's retirement. 50 points due to getting their leader guessed by Kiyo. 40 points for shower and toilet. 20 points for boy's tents. 12 points spent by Karuizawa and girls. 90 points for food and water. = 322 points.

(I'm keeping the food and water cost 90 points assuming that they managed to save some points by gathering food and drinking river water.)

Class D

Positive points : YEET

Negative points : 50 by getting their leader guessed by Kiyo.

16. Unexpected

Kiyo POV

"How about this one?"

Kushida looked at the Halloween theme coffee mug I was holding for a few seconds before speaking up.

"I already have enough mugs. It won't fit the theme of my room either so I can't use it as a decoration either." She said and I looked at the mug once again.

It certainly wouldn't match in the cute room of a cute girl like Kushida.

Although if she switches her personality she certainly would be scary enough...

"Kiyotaka, let's go to the other shop." Kushida called me out and I followed her after placing the mug and my thoughts back in their place.

Currently we're hanging around the cruise ship going through the various shops and buying stuff we might like.

The exam had concluded yesterday and after hanging out for some time with Kushida and meeting up with my friends, I'd spent the rest of the day sleeping in the comfort of my room.

Today after I woke up something unexpected happened.

I got a message from Kushida inviting me to a date on the cruise ship.

To everyone other than me and Kushida this would've been a rather normal thing. But for me who knows that the relationship only exists to boost both mine and Kushida's popularity, her reasoning behind this date was somewhat of a mystery to me.

I'd thought of a couple of reasons behind the sudden invitation:

First, Kushida wanted to make our relationship more believable to the other students by going on dates from time to time. This was quite believable and probably the reason for her invitation.

Second, Kushida really wants to hang out with me, she has fallen for me and wants to become my girlfriend for real.

This was just a joke I told myself, there's no way that Kushida would fall for me, the person who made her betray her classmates, used her for his sake and has been rather harsh towards her. Right?

Jokes aside since my friends were more tired than me and wanted to relax a bit more, I accepted Kushida's invitation. Not like I had anything better to do anyways...

It's now been an hour since we started the date and we've gone through multiple stores, buying things we like and having fun.

I still don't know her intentions behind the date, but since I'm enjoying it it's fine even if I don't know them.

"Can we have lunch before continuing? " Kushida asked me with a smile on her face, pointing at the various restaurants ahead of us.

"Only if you let me eat you for desert." Hornykouji.

"With pleasure Kiyotaka-Sama!" Ecchishida.

"Yeah sure." I replied and we proceeded to enter a restaurant.

The restaurant wasn't very busy at the moment since most of the students already had lunch by now.

We were able to have lunch in peace, without anyone disturbing us.

While eating my meal, I noticed Horikita sitting a few table away from us. She had dark circles under her eyes and looked as if she was deep in thought. Her soufflé omelette had already deflated.

This girl had faced nothing but failures from the start of the school. Whether it being her brother demotivating her, her teacher being unfair towards them or me using her to cover up Kushida's betrayal.

But still, I wouldn't go ahead and say that she can just blame us for her failures.

I was rather interested in what actions she will take moving forward.

I've seen many children break down back in that place. I'd seen their expression when they finally give up.

Even so, I wasn't able to accurately understand if Horikita had given up or not. Asking her wouldn't be of much use either.

She looked rather scary at the moment. I wouldn't dare to approach her right now anyways.

Kushida saw me staring at something, followed my sight and noticed that I was looking at Horikita.

Her expression darkened immediately and was soon followed by a scary smile aimed at me.

"Kiyotaka, say Ahh~" She said holding her spoon full of fried rice in front of my mouth. Her scary smile still on her face.

I decided to follow along and opened my mouth, somehow I wasn't interested in knowing what would happen if I refused.

"You know, girls reeaallly dislike it when their boyfriend stares at another girl during their date~" She said and I just nodded while chewing my food.

Perhaps Kushida was being a bit possessive... Although if I had to guess, it might just be because I was staring at the person she holds extreme hatred against.

I wondered what would happen if I were to tease her at the moment...

Yeah, it isn't the time for that right now.

After finishing with our lunch we left the restaurant and continued with our date.

Finally finishing with our date I parted ways with Kushida and started walking towards my room.

I'd planned on taking a hot shower and relax in the room before heading out for dinner.

I noticed that Kito was standing outside my room, perhaps he was friends with one of my roommates?

"Ayanokoji." He called out to me as I got closer.

"Uhh yeah?"

He didn't say anything else but handed me his phone, it seems like he was on a call.

"Hello?" I greeted the person on the other side of the call.

"Fufufu, good evening Ayanokoji-Kun, I hope I didn't call when you were busy."

Apparently it was Sakayanagi who wanted to talk to me.

"No, I was just heading back to my room anyways, why didn't you just call me instead of having Kito approach me?" I asked her the question on my mind.

"Oh, but Ayanokoji-Kun never gave me his number, how would I call you?"

"That's because you never asked me for it..." It's not like I would refuse to give my number to Sakayanagi if she asked for it.

"It can be hard for a maiden to ask the boy she likes for his number, you wouldn't understand."

I was certain that Sakayanagi doesn't hold any romantic feelings towards me, perhaps this is her way of joking.

"Even so, if it's you wouldn't you be able to get my number anyways? Many of our classmates have it after all." I asked her ignoring the indirect confession, hoping it was a joke.

"Fufu... Well all that aside that was quite a result you got on the island, I'm impressed."

"It wouldn't have been possible without the cooperation from the class."

"Is that one of the jokes you tell yourself?"

It would've been harder if someone from Sakayanagi's faction tried to sabotage me. Even so calling it impossible would be wrong of me.

"Is there something you wanted to talk about?" I asked getting straight to the point, I was looking forward to the hot shower...

"I just wanted to congratulate Ayanokoji-Kun for now. I won't take any more of your time, goodbye."

"Goodbye." I said and handed over the phone to Kito who walked away without saying anything else.

I entered the room and greeted my roommates before taking some clothes to change in and going to the bathroom for a shower.

After I'd finished I dried myself with my towel and wore my clothes. Even though my roommates are all male, I prefer changing clothes inside the bathroom with more privacy.

After stepping out I set a alarm for 8 Pm and take a nap on my comfortable bed.

Waking up to the sound of my alarm I washed my face, wore my shoes and headed out for dinner.

Checking on my phone, I noticed a message from Nishi inviting me to eat dinner with them.

I was about to accept the invitation but I got a unexpected message from an unexpected person, due to which I decided not to reply for the moment.

Walking towards a small cafe I thought about why the person would invite me.

It wasn't much time before I arrived at the cafe and noticed the person.

She was sitting on a table for two with a serious expression on her face.

"I guess it would be right for me to assume that you called me here?" I asked her and she looked at me before replying with her eyes closed.

"There isn't anyone else who goes by the name of Horikita Suzune, is there?"

Well I know the chapter is small but I wanted to end it with cliffhanger Chan hehe.

Well tell me what you think Horikita wants from Kiyo. Although I wouldn't confirm it so as to not spoil you.

Also I tried to make it so that Kiyo doesn't feel too ooc in the chapter. I'll try to do this from now on.

17. A Failed Attempt.

Horikita POV

It has been a few days since I came back on the ship. Due to my failure I was unable to make any progress towards my goal.

I'm still not sure if that's the case but there's a chance that Kushida-san is the one who told Ayanokoji-kun about the leader's identity back on the island.

I still don't have any proof of her betrayal and am not sure about it myself.

Kushida-san is well liked by all of the first years, whether it be our classmates or students from the other classes.

But when I confronted her back in April she admitted that she hates me.

I still don't understand the reason for her hatred but it's probably related to the incident she'd caused back in her middle school, which I don't even know the details about.

Even so, she managed to make all of our classmates pass through the midterms using those old question papers.

Why would she betray the class even though she saved many of our classmates before?

That makes me think that I'm doubting her too much...

Another theory came into my mind; Ayanokoji-kun is forcing Kushida-San into betraying the class.

It would make sense too. Ayanokoji-kun proved to me on the island that he is as sly as a fox. Maybe he has gotten hold of Kushida-san's weakness.

If that turns out to be the case... I'll have to save Kushida-san from him.

Sigh* I let out a tired sigh. I haven't totally recovered from my fever yet.

But that doesn't mean that I can postpone my plan. It has to be done as soon as possible...

I've already decided on my plan. Now all that's left is to execute it.

"I guess it would be right for me to assume that you called me here?" A voice called out to me, I looked up and it was Ayanokoji-kun standing there with his terrifying eyes looking down at me.

"There isn't anyone else who goes by the name of Horikita Suzune, is there?" I replied with my eyes closed, trying to calm myself down for what will happen next.

He proceeds to sit on the chair in front of mine.

"Order what you want to, I'm paying." I said.

"So the food is free?" He asked.

"Nevermind." I replied.

"What did you call me here for?" He asked me, it seems as if he didn't want to spend any more time here.

"You did a great job back at the island, you successfully provoked me into using violence and were able to get me disqualified from the exam, it was a cowardly and underhanded tactic. Even so, it was my fault for falling for it. It was your victory this time, but I'll defeat you in the next special exam." I looked him in the eyes as I completed speaking.

That was a bad idea, he's still terrifying.

"What are you talking about Horikita? I never provoked you on the island, I still don't fully understand why you suddenly attacked me back then, but I never expected you to pass the blame on me."

Huh? Why is he lying!? Did he perhaps-

"But it's fine, Horikita. After all, if you didn't tell me about your leader's identity, Class A would've never been able to find your class's leader. I'll transfer you the promised amount right now." He said and started fiddling with his phone.

"What are you saying!? I never told you about Class C's leader, what do you mean by promised amount!?" I unintentionally shouted at him not caring about the various stares we were receiving.

"I kept my part of the deal, it was nice working with you. Goodbye Horikita." He said and left me confused.

My phone made a notification sound at the same moment. I unlocked it and found out that Ayanokoji-kun had transferred 100,000 points to me.

"... " I kept on staring at it, unable to understand his actions.

Even so, I have a really bad feeling about this.

Ayanokoji-kun definitely knew that I was recording this conversation.

I had planned on recording his words as evidence and use it to prove to the school that he was the one who provoked me. I had also thought of using it to clear my doubts regarding Kushida-San.

Suddenly my head started to hurt. In my current condition, even thinking too hard affects my body…. I decided to head back to my room to think more about what just happened.

Asking Ayanokoji-Kun about it would be counterproductive.

Once again I pulled out my phone as I left the restaurant after dealing with Horikita.

I really would prefer not to hurt her anymore. It's not as if I feel any happiness or gain anything from it.

Finding out the contact no. of the person I wanted to talk to I dialed their number and placed my phone beside my right ear.

After a few rings she picked up the call.

"Hello Ayanokoji-kun!" The joyous voice of Nishi greeted me from the other side of the call.

"Hey Nishi, what are you upto?" I asked.

"Well I'm with the rest of the guys right now, we were just about to order for dinner. Is Ayanokoji-kun joining us!?" Her excitement was evident from her voice. She was really adorable.

"Yeah, just text me the name of the restaurant, I'll head straight over." I replied.

"Just a second….Hey Kamuro-chan what was the name of the restaurant again?"

"It's written on the menu you airhead."

"I see… wait a minute, I'm not an airhead!"

"Uhh Nishi?" I interrupted them.

"Ah yes Ayanokoji-kun, I'm sorry, you probably didn't want to hear our bantering. I'll send you the name of the restaurant now…"

"I was just saying that you definitely are an Airhead." I said.

"Wh-Whaaa- I'm not! Not! Not! Not! Not!"

I hear a few chuckles from the other side of the call, probably from Kamuro.

Ding*

I heard the sound of a message being received.

I ended the call, opened the message and read it.

"Pilli polli gulli golli bababooi."

The message was from Hashimoto.

What the hell is this gibberish!?

"This weird… thing… is the name of the restaurant."

My question was answered by another message I received from Hashimoto.

Confused by their choice I walk around the place looking for the restaurant before finally coming in front of it.

'Pilli polli gulli golli bababooi' was indeed what was written on the board of the restaurant.

I probably shouldn't have called Nishi an airhead for not being able to remember this…

Entering the restaurant I look around in search of my friends.

I notice them seated on a table for 6 at the back of the restaurant and move towards them.

"Yo leader, you made it here." Hashimoto was the first to notice my presence.

"Yeah, the talk with the other person didn't take much time so I thought I might as well meet up with you guys." I replied, taking a seat beside Hashimoto.

"It's nice that everyone's here!" Nishi said with a smile.

"The past few days were so tiring, we didn't get many chances to hang out together like this." Motodoi added.

It was the first time that we all had met together after the exam. It feels really refreshing.

"Well everyone was tired after the exam, especially Ayanokoji-kun, he did the most work out of everyone here." Kamuro said.

"Although that didn't stop him from going on a date with Kushida-chan~" Nishi teased me with a grin on her face.

"Are you jealous? Maybe you should also get a boyfriend. I won't be able to marry you so that you don't die alone." I replied with the same words which she'd said to me when I started dating Kushida.

Hashimoto and Kamuro tried to hold their laughter but failed miserably.

During the rest of the dinner I had to face a lot of tantrums from the pouting Nishi.

Well I know that many of you guys probably didn't understand Kiyo's actions completely so I'll be explaining that with a short story.
