She's on you're mind.

Before their quickie marriage. Brooke and Lucas both dated as was to be expected. Given where they were in life. For Brooke none of it was going anywhere with substance. She was aware of Lucas's involvement with Lindsey she wasn't a fool or naive especially since they bonded over making his novel. But Lucas made it seem like they were casually involved. The emails she read gave a much deeper look into the dynamic.

She was more emotionally invested in Lucas then Brooke ever realized. She knew what to expect from Peyton. Yet Lindsey made her presence non threatening from the beginning so to find out she's been waiting in the background for Lucas was hard to take.

But for Brooke the hurt and confusion remained with her husband.

Lucas choose to through salt in her emotional open cuts. Her vunerablity. Her parents. He knew everything. She had trusted him in a way she had never allowed herself to do with anyone.

She even revealed her darkest secret to him. Which to this day caused her to cling to the people she cared about and loved tighter then she should.

She loved him. And as much as she wanted to write him off.

She couldn't at least not yet. Which is why. She spent the next number of days. Calling and texting him. Inviting him to the beach house. To talk. He had yet to respond to her or come by.

Brooke wrote down in her diary. The latest milestone in her pregnancy. Reaching 30 weeks.

"The meals i make and bring out are supposed to be eaten by you."

"Enough calling and texting. And watching the front door."

"You need to relax and focus on yourself and the baby." Haley advised when she entered the living room.

"She's right. You can't force and make Lucas want to reach out."

"He has to that on his own. He knows the part he played in this. What was said and if he wants to fix it you need to let him come to you." Rachel added in.

"I'm so uncomfortable. My back hurts. Cramping."

"No matter what i do. I feel this pressure." Brooke admitted.

Haley's eyes went wide. As she looked to Brooke.

"You're in labor." Haley announced.

Lucas had done what he needed to do and he wasn't proud of his actions but he was desperate and that meant right and wrong went out the window.

He had been avoiding contacting Brooke out of shame and not knowing what to how they left things.

He stared down at his cellphone. When a new text appeared.

Brooke is in labor! Rachel had texted.
