"Dobe! Would you hurry up already…we're going to be late" Sasuke yelled
"I'm coming, I'm coming! You know that the ceremony doesn't start for another thirty minutes right?" Naruto said as he walked into the living room trying to make sure that he hadn't forgotten anything
"You do realize that it looks bad if the parents are late to their child's graduation ceremony right?" Sasuke shot back as he gathered balloons and a small gift bag
"Sasuke she's moving from the blue room to the yellow room I think it'll be ok if we're not there thirty minutes early" Naruto said as he watched his husband double check that he had everything
"Don't try to water down the fact that our little girl is smart enough to move to a higher class!" Sasuke said as he shot Naruto a look
"I'm not I'm just…you know what nevermind let's go before we're actually late" Naruto said as he walked up to Sasuke he smiled and leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips
"I love you Dobe" Sasuke said
"I- RING…RING…RING"
Sasuke shot up out of his sleep and looked around, he saw that his phone was ringing and he was having to fight the urge to throw it across the room. How dare it wake him up before Naruto could say that he loved Sasuke back! He sighed and looked at the phone screen and seen it was Naruto calling
"Hello?" Sasuke answered while wiping the sleep away from his eyes
"Hey Teme..where are you?" Naruto asked
"At home..why?" asked Sasuke
"I was going to come by if that's ok" Naruto asked
"Yeah that's fine I'll see you when you get here" Sasuke said as he hung up the phone he sighed again..he knew that his dream would never be reality and that hurt,he still loved the blonde idiot but it was clear that Naruto didn't feel the same way. Sasuke made his way to the living room where he found his older brother sitting reading a book.
"Hey squirt when did you get back?" Itachi asked as he hadn't heard Sasuke come in
"A few hours ago..I took a nap" Sasuke said as he sat down next to the older Uchiha who was once again eyeing his little brother up and down
"Are you ok?" Itachi asked he knew something was up but he couldn't quite put his finger on it
"I'm fine Tachi" Sasuke said as leaned against Itachi
"Yeah now I know something is up…you never take naps and you only use me as your pillow when something is wrong…now spill it" Itachi said closing his book
"It's nothing bad, ok? I'll tell you all about it very soon" Sasuke said as he looked up at his brother
"Just tell me this…is it life or death or are you in any kind of trouble?" Itachi asked
"No I'm not in trouble and it's not life or death…didn't you hear the part where I said it's nothing bad" Sasuke said with a slight laugh
"Fine I'll wait then…I'm taking Deidara out for date night…are you good with making yourself dinner?" Itachi asked as he began to get up
"Yeah I'm good I'll probably make a sandwich or something I'm not that hungry" Sasuke said as he looked at the front door that opened revealing Deidara and Naruto
"I'm telling you mom is going to be mad"Deidara said as he walked in the door with his little brother in tow, Sasuke froze, had Naruto already told Deidara about the baby? And what did he mean that their mom would be upset? She loved kids. Why would she be mad?
"Sasuke…Sasuke!" Itachi snapped his fingers in front of Sasuke's face snapping him out of his own little world
"Huh?" Sasuke asked as he looked at the three men looking at him
"Are you ok? You didn't answer Naruto" Itachi said
"Yeah I'm fine just thinking about something…well the two of you should be off to date night" Sasuke said as he made his way off the couch
"Yeah..ok…are you sure you're ok?" Itachi asked one last time
"Tachi I'm fine…now go..Naruto are you coming?" Sasuke asked as he looked at the younger blonde who nodded and followed him to his room. Sasuke wondered what Naruto wanted when they had just seen each other. The pair made it to the raven's room he sat in the middle of the bed and looked at the blonde that followed he did the same and sat so he and the raven were face to face
"I thought you were on a date with Eyebrows" Sasuke said as he looked down at his fingers not wanting Naruto to see how much pain was in his eyes
"Yeah I was but I started thinking that we needed to you know talk about how we're going to do this" Naruto said
"Right..where do you want to start?" Sasuke asked
"Well um…do you have a doctor appointment set yet?" Naruto asked,Sasuke shook his head
"Ok so we should probably start with that first…how about-" Naruto said until Sasuke cut him off
"Did you tell him?" Sasuke asked
"What? Tell who?" Naruto asked confused
"Eyebrows…did you tell him about the baby?" Sasuke asked as he tried to not let his voice waver
"No…honestly I don't know how to tell him" Naruto said
"You still the get out of jail free card" Sasuke said as he looked up at Naruto
"Sasuke I already told you…I don't want an out..I'm going to be here for this baby!" Naruto said loudly
"It'd make your life easier" Sasuke said as he looked down again
"What about your life? You think raising a baby on your own is going to be easy?" Naruto asked
"It's my baby my life doesn't matter to me anymore" Sasuke said
"Well it matters to me..you didn't make this baby by yourself and your not going to raise it by yourself…so just go ahead and get that thought out of your head right now" Naruto said as he lifted Sasuke's face up so they we're looking eye to eye
"What if he leaves you? I don't want you to have bad feelings about the baby" Sasuke said
"If he leaves then he leaves..I'm not putting a relationship above my child" Naruto said with a soft smile, Sasuke nodded and gave a small smile back
"So there was something I wanted to run by you" Naruto said
"What is it?" asked Sasuke
"I don't want to miss anything like first kicks or stuff like that so I was wondering if it was ok with you..if I moved into the spare bedroom" Naruto said not realizing how happy he had just made Sasuke
"We'd have to ask Tachi but I don't see a problem with it" Sasuke said happily
"Good that way we can take it one day at a time" Naruto said
Time Skip- 3 months later
It had been three months since Sasuke found out he was pregnant with ex boyfriend's baby and what a hellish three months it had been. Sasuke had the worst morning sickness and mood swings there was to have, he couldn't do anything he wanted to do…being six months along tended to get in the way of a lot of stuff. Naruto and Sasuke had told their family about the baby and both were so happy that they didn't seem to care too much that the two weren't together, Sasuke had learned how to hold his feelings in when it came to Naruto and Eyebrows…Lee hadn't taken the news as well as the others but he stayed with Naruto and everyday it broke Sasuke's heart a little more, but his feelings weren't what was important it was about the baby. Naruto kept his promise to Sasuke…he was there through the morning sickness, mood swings, late night cravings, and doctor appointments, he was there for everything.
"Sasuke come on everyone is waiting for us" Naruto said as he knocked on the raven's door
"I'm not going" Sasuke said behind the closed door
"Not going? Why not?"Naruto asked
"Because" Sasuke said imagining Naruto rolling his eyes
"Can I come in?" Naruto asked
"Yeah" Sasuke said, Naruto walked into the room and seen clothes all over the place…Sasuke couldn't find anything to wear…therefor he wasn't going
"Teme why does it look like a bomb went off in your closet?" Naruto asked as he sat down next to the very pregnant raven
"I look fat in everything that I put on" Sasuke said as tears started to pool in his eyes
"Sasuke your six months pregnant…I'd be worried if you could still fit into your normal clothes" Naruto said as he pulled Sasuke into his side
"I'm still not going" Sasuke said in a huff
"But everyone is downstairs waiting for you…come on it's our gender reveal party" Naruto said softly
"I'm not going" Sasuke repeated
"Come on…what if we do the watermelon thing" Naruto said
"The watermelon thing?" Sasuke asked confused
"Yeah you know where you duct tape a watermelon to my stomach that way I look pregnant and stuff… we could go as twins" Naruto said as he smiled while watching Sasuke try to hold back his laughter
"Twins huh?" Sasuke said as he looked up at Naruto and smiled
"Yeah we could totally be twins" Naruto laughed
"So what do ya say? Can we go down stairs and have fun at the party?" Naruto asked
"I guess so" Sasuke said as he looked down at his stomach that poked out it was still shocking to him to see how big his belly had gotten
"Good because mom and Deidara put a lot of planning into this and I really think Deidara would cry if you didn't go" Naruto joked while helping Sasuke stand up
"He wouldn't cry..he'd just bitch at me for a few days" Sasuke said with a smirk as he and Naruto made their way down to the party, Naruto was right his mom and Deidara had put a lot of planning into the party everything was perfect from the blue and pink decorations to the bannerster that had "WELCOME BABY UCHIHA-UZUMAKI" hung above the kitchen door entrance. The party was in full swing and it was getting close to time to find out the gender, everyone was talking and having a good time when Itachi made the announcement for everyone to make their way outside it was time to find out the gender. Sasuke and Naruto made it to the front of the crowd and seen three balloons in front of them
"Why are there three of them?" Naruto asked
"Yeah…there's only one baby in here" Sasuke said
"I know but I thought it'd be more suspenseful this way" Deidara said with a smile, Naruto and Sasuke walked up the the balloons
"You ready?" Naruto asked
"Yep…are you?" Sasuke asked back as he watched Naruto nod. They walked to the middle balloon and popped it and was met with silver confetti, they moved to the right and was met with silver confetti once again, they moved to the last balloon and looked at each other and popped it and was met with more silver confetti the pair looked at Deidara and glared as he laughed
"Ok..ok..ok I'm sorry…here's the actual gender balloon" Deidara said as he pulled the balloon from behind his back, he handed it to Naruto who looked at Sasuke he gulped and popped the balloon. Pink confetti burst from the balloon and the pair was met with cheers they were having a little girl, Naruto hugged Sasuke who at this point was crying his eyes out
"Are we upset or overwhelmed? Your starting to look a little pale" Naruto asked in Sasuke's ear
"Happy and overwhelmed" Sasuke answered back even though he wasn't feeling the best , he pulled back from Naruto so they we're looking right into each other's eyes…Sasuke didn't know what came over him but he had to tell Naruto how he felt he just had to
"When everyone goes home can we talk?" Sasuke asked
"Yeah of course is everything.." Naruto asked until he felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned and looked and seen his boyfriend standing behind him….Lee got the attention of the crowd
"Can I get everyone's attention please" Lee said loudly causing everyone to turn and look at him…what was he doing?
"Thank you..As everyone knows Naruto and I are together and given that we're in the situation we're in I think it's important for this to happen…Naruto I know that we haven't been together that long but I know that I love you and I want us to be a happy family…Naruto Uzumaki will you marry me?" Lee asked as he got down on one knee ignoring the gasps behind him, missing the look of horror on Naruto's face but grinning on the inside at the broken look on Sasuke's face. Lee knew from the very start that Sasuke was still in love with Naruto, he had seen the way that Sasuke looked at him and he didn't like it…yeah Sasuke may have been having his baby but Naruto was HIS man. He had heard everyone whispering that it was only a matter of time before Naruto left him to go back to Sasuke but he wasn't going to let that happen, not without a fight! Lee intended for everyone including Sasuke to know that his and Naruto's love was real and what better way than by getting married.
"So Naruto…will you marry me?' Lee asked again
"I.."Naruto started to speak but was cut off when he felt Sasuke drop out of his hold…it was too much Sasuke had passed out
"TEME..TEME WAKE UP" Naruto yelled as he softly rubbed Sasuke's face…he wouldn't wake up, Sakura knelt down next to Sasuke..she put her hand on his forehead then she put two fingers on his wrist
"We need to get him to the hospital now" Sakura said
"Sakura, what's wrong with him?" Naruto asked frantically
"His pulse is weak…I think his blood pressure bottomed out….it can be common in male pregnancies it's known as syncope" Sakura said as she looked at her teammate
"Sasuke please be ok" Naruto said as he ran his fingers through Sasuke's hair after what felt like an eternity EMS showed up and loaded Sasuke into the ambulance. Naruto, Itachi, and Deidara rushed to the hospital as the ambulance took off with Sasuke and Sakura. After a few hours and many test Sakura decided to admit Sasuke overnight so she could monitor him, she walked inside the hospital room where Naruto and a unconscious Sasuke were…she looked at Naruto who had been crying the whole time and internally sighed she felt bad for her teammates she knew they loved each other but both were too stubborn to admit it…she knew she shouldn't intervene but what kind of friend would she be if she didn't
"They're ok Naruto" Sakura said as she wrote something down on Sasuke's chart
"It's my fault he's in here…he didn't want to go to the party and I pushed him" Naruto said sadly
"Naruto it's not your fault..it's not anyone's fault things like this happen…the important thing is we caught it and now that we know about it we can plan accordingly" said the pink haired woman
"I put to much stress on him …and the shit that Lee pulled didn't help" Naruto said
"Yeah about that….what are you going to say?" Sakura asked
"I don't know…I can't even think about that right now" Naruto said as he ran his finger through his hair
"Naruto I'm going to tell you this because I love both you…Sasuke is still in love with you" Sakura said trying to be serious as she saw Naruto's head shoot up
"What?!" Naruto all but yelled
"He does…but you know him..he's not going to tell you because he thinks he'll ruin your life or that.." Sakura said but stopped short
"Or that? Spit it out Sakura" Naruto said
"Or that you've moved on…which you and I both know you haven't" Sakura said
"And how do you know that I haven't?" Naruto asked
"Because if you had…you'd have a engagement ring on your finger right now" Sakura said as she crossed her arms
"Just because I didn't say yes right then doesn't mean I'm going to say no" Naruto shot back
"So you're going to say yes?" Sakura asked as she cocked her head to the side
"I don't know…I don't know what to do" Naruto said sounding defeated
"Well my advice when you get the chance you need to talk to Sasuke…tell him how you feel and go from there" Sakura said as she gave a soft smile
"Easier said than done," Naruto said while looking at Sasuke. He sighed he had a lot of thinking to do.
