Shinji strode purposefully through the narrow streets of the city, the clattering of gears and the hiss of steam filling the air. His top hat sat jauntily atop his head, and his waistcoat exuded an air of normality. The glow of gas lamps illuminated his path, casting long shadows on the cobblestone streets.

Lost in his self-assured thoughts, Shinji marveled at his recent triumph—securing a coveted position at the esteemed Whispering pages. Not only did it grant him a steady income, but it also provided him with a sanctuary where he could indulge his passion for reading and gather valuable information for his own endeavors.

Despite his arrogance, a hint of frustration tugged at the corners of his thoughts. The Store had proved to be a treasure trove of knowledge, but his search for information about the enigmatic world of Beyonders had yielded nothing but dead ends.

Lost in thought shinji barely noticed the various carriges and people walking past him. In such a crowd he also missed a man observing him from afar. As he approached a deserted alleyway, his brow furrowed, pondering the limits of his current understanding.

Suddenly, a figure stepped out from the shadows, grabbing Shinji's attention and causing him to pause. it was Edessak, the prince who he had met on the slave ship. His blue eyes glowed in the dark as his face was completely serious.

"Mr. Holmes." He said his voice with a ting of urgency to it. "You might have seen the wanted poster of you."

"Yes, I have." Shinji replied.

"I see, Although I couldn't stop them from making you into a criminal the only thing that I can give you is this." Edessak said as he took a book out of his coat.

Shinji's eyes narrowed as he studied Edessak. The memory of their meeting resurfaced, intertwining with the present moment. The item in Edessaks hand piqued shinji's curiosity.

"What's this?" Shinji inquired, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. "Why would you give me something like this?"

Edessak's expression remained grave as he glanced around, ensuring they were not overheard. "The people who have give a bounty on your hand are powerful people and to survive them and other bounty Hunters, you will need this to save yourself. A potion formula for a beyonder potion" he replied cryptically

A surge of intrigue coursed through Shinji's veins, he had been searching for Beyonder information for about a week and didn't find anything but here he was being handed a piece of information just like that?

"I see," Shinji mused, his heart pounding quickly as if he had just ran a marathon. He wanted to take that book from Edessak's hand and make sure it was real to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

"This Book contains information about the Black Emperor pathway till sequence 7 and all the relevant information needed for you to survive." Edessak said as placed the book in shinji's hand.

Shinji's pulse quickened at the mention of the Beyonders, the enigmatic beings whose existence had eluded him thus far. The allure of their hidden world, shrouded in mystery and power, beckoned him further down the rabbit hole.

"I accept your proposal," Shinji declared, his voice tinged with gratitude. "So this were we part?" He asked.

With a nod Edessak left. As shinji stood there alone the ally devoid of any human life for the first time he felt that things were going in his direction for once and that he could finally show that he was better then emiya and that bitch.

Shinji entered his room, a private sanctuary tucked away from the outside world. The flickering candlelight cast dancing shadows along the walls, creating an atmosphere of introspection and solitude. The minimalistic yet functional setup included a bed adorned with deep crimson sheets, a polished wooden wardrobe, and a sturdy desk with a comfortable chair.

With a sigh, Shinji eased himself onto the chair, the weariness of the day settling in his bones. He let his gaze wander across the room, his eyes landing on the wardrobe that held his belongings that he had bought.

His attention shifted to the desk, cluttered with stacks of books and parchment, revealing the extent of his scholarly pursuits. A pen stood at the ready, poised for the moments when inspiration struck, and his thoughts could be transcribed onto the blank canvas of paper.

A leather-bound journal lay open on the desk, its pages adorned with his elegant handwriting. It chronicled his observations, theories, and ambitious plans.

Seated in the chair, Shinji leaned forward, his elbows resting on the desk's smooth surface. He found solace in this intimate space, where he could lose himself in the pursuit of knowledge, The whispers of distant discoveries beckoned to him, fueling his desire to delve deeper into the realms of the unknown.

Opening the book given to him by Edessak shinji skimmed through the book quickly once. After which he started a thourogh read through.
