Jim
Jim came to work early today to get work done as some of his commissions are due in a few days and some are in a rush date. He was working with a family heirloom. It is the client's portrait of their great-grandmother and he was assigned to finish it in three days. After correcting its discoloration, he then worked on the restoration of the portrait since it has a few wears and paint cracks. The work was tedious and intricate but it was fine. The events of last week playing in his mind had made him motivated to just finish work. Since that night, they have been exchanging text messages.
"I just arrived home. I hope you can sleep well tonight. I had fun getting to you Amaya. I mean, Mayim," he texted as he entered the door of his apartment after walking Mayim home.
"Glad you arrived home safely. I am about to hit the sack. Thank you so much for tonight, Pee Wee Herman!" she replied a few moments after he sent his. He chuckled at her reply.
Morning texts happen every day as well. He would wake up in the morning and would leave her a text to enjoy her day and to never mind him (Ryan), and send quotable quotes that are irrelevant to just give her a laugh or two.
Smiling at his memory, he still continued his ministrations. Kaley in the distance just shook her head at what her friend is acting like. She had never seen him like this but it was good to see him in this state. Always smiling, he always seems to be on his phone and leaves work early. He had never said anything to her and she had never asked because she doesn't really want to pry about his life. But being the nosy rosy that she was contemplating whether she's gonna ask him or not.
"Didn't know you smile," Kaley scoffed as she stood up near him.
Looking up at her, he just gave her a quizzing look. "What do you mean? I can smile. It's not like I don't have facial muscles you know?" he asked as he looked down again to continue his work.
"Stand up, let's have lunch together and spill," she demanded walking away to grab her purse.
"What is there to spill?" he asked innocently pretending not to know what she means.
"Come on Jim, only a blind person could not see those glimmering eyes and your smile that doesn't seem to go away. SO SPILL!" she glared at him.
"Okay okay...But I don't need lunch. I will just tell you here," he smiles. Kaley hurriedly sat down next to him on a stool like a puppy waiting for a treat. "I met her," he calmly said as he removed his gloves to take a break from work.
"Who's she?"
"Amy. Sheldon's Amy, I met her a few days ago," he admits as his cheeks reddened.
Kaley cannot contain herself and squeal in front of him. "Oh, my God! Tell me what happened?! Can't believe you kept this all by yourself, I thought that we are friends?!" Kaley exclaimed as she slapped his arms repeatedly.
Jim told her everything that happened that night. Seeing her sobbing in front of her portrait, bringing her to a rage room, eating with her at a diner, and the conversation they had. He just left the information about her being the Amaya B. that both Kaley and he are avid fans of but Mayim asked him to not share that information yet and he respects that. He shared about why she was in tears and all alone at that time of the day because of her now ex-boyfriend. Kaley sympathized and is proud of her friend to have extended that kind of kindness toward her.
"Wow, and what is her name?" she asked still smiling.
"Mayim. And her name suits her very well," he speaks fondly.
"I wouldn't doubt that. But are you two going out together?"
Jim gave her a confused look, "Isn't that too soon for her to do? I mean it has not even been a week since she and her ex broke up. That would make it seem that I am a rebound."
"Yeah...but does it seems that you're her rebound?" Kaley asked him.
"No, I don't. What I want is to establish a friendship with her and from there I don't know. I don't want to rush into things. I am not even sure that I am ready to date. But I just feel like I want to be closer to her that's all. And I am not just saying that because I know that I have loved her in my past life but I have enjoyed our conversations. We have a lot of things in common. No offense to you but talking to her is like a breath of fresh air. It's new and it's fresh," he responded in kind.
"Why don't you get a salad?" she scoffed making Jim roll his eyes at her. "But in all seriousness, I am happy for you. Whatever you both have, just enjoy it."
"Thank you I appreciate that."
He was in such a good mood that he didn't think about eating lunch and would just spend the noon taking a nap before working again when his phone notification rang. There was a text from Mayim.
Hey Jimmy boy! Sorry, I forgot to reply to your text this morning, I was really engrossed with writing. I hope you had a great day at work! And I hope you already ate lunch. he reads her text.
It's okay Ms. Mayim. I know that I am always not the priority. It's okay with me. Jk. Have you had lunch yet? I haven't had lunch and was thinking of skipping it so just keep your hopes up. I kid. Just continue what you are doing and please don't skip meals! he replied then put his phone back in his pocket.
Thoughts were coming in and out of his mind as he sits down on the couch at their workstation. It was unusual for him to be glued to his phone. To get updates and give updates from time to time. Everything about Mayim intrigues him, not just because of what he knows about his and her past life. Mayim as herself is really interesting. And not to mention how beautiful she was in and out. He felt bad for her that a person she use to call his man was capable of hurting her that way. As for now, he will make sure that Mayim will heal and move past her ex-boyfriend who he had yet to meet.
Mayim
After the night they spent together she realized a lot of stuff. How there are still kind people out there that would go their way to just uplift a sad and angered soul. She wished to be alone that evening but it was such a blessing in disguise to have bumped into him in that museum. And things from there had blossomed a friendship. She had discovered that there were a lot of things that they had in common, from their choices of book genres, and authors too up until to their favorite brands of sorts. They exchanged texts every day and from time to time they update each other even if it is nonsensical like going to the bathroom to evacuate their bowels or reheating a leftover to eat on the couch.
His distraction was welcome to her. She only took breaks to check her phone to see if he messaged him of randomness he'd see somewhere or from an application. He was a joy to converse with and she was extremely grateful to have this kind of relationship with him. For the first time in forever, she was sane. She knows that around him there will be no insults, she was listened to, easy to communicate with and she finally had a listener. She wouldn't want to impose on her friends' time because they have a life of their own but having Jim as a friend who is just there for her bought so much comfort. She doesn't need to reach out to him because he was the one who was more than willing to extend his hand to her without asking. She'd kill for this friendship. Somehow she felt that she deserved this kind of treatment. It was platonic but it was fulfilling.
She was about to make lunch when she forgot to send him a reply to his morning text to her. She was really into writing since ideas start flowing through her brain and that made her work a lot more than she use to. She was now having a friendship with the man she based the main character of her novel and that made her add more details of how he was as a person. She wants to go into detail about him to make her audience feel the character has a connection with them. Even though it's fictional, there was still a sense of familiarity and connection with him. It was his alluring eyes in the deep blue hue that made her want to write this in the first place.
Richard, is a detective known for his alluring blue eyes that are known to capture the hearts of lone women and tend to squeeze the truth of the suspects he comes to investigate. In the middle of a case he was solving, he unraveled a woman that has the potential to be the suspect in a heinous crime that happened in the town of Naperville, Illinois. It was a quiet town with a safe neighborhood and yet this crime had taken place. He often used his looks to appeal to suspects to confess their crimes but the woman was different. She was one to be unflappable and nonchalant which intrigued him. She had this deep chocolate hair that complimented her hazelnut brown eyes that screamed the need for him. Would he be able to make her admit her crime or would he choose to leave his duty and follow his heart's desire?
Her story's summary contents. She was weeks in finishing the chapters and she was actually excited about his. The comeback of Amaya B in bookstores and libraries comes very soon and will be entitled 'Private Eyes'. She can't wait for the real Richard's reaction.
Jim
After taking a nap, he was still sluggish when went back to working again. But he was persistent to finish work early to hang out with Mayim virtually. Since that night they haven't hung out in person because he was caught up with work and Mayim writing her manuscript. Preparing for his work, he then slipped inside his coat and protective gear and his materials when a notification interrupted the silence of his workstation. He looked at his screen and saw Mayim's name in it and quickly opened the message.
"Jim, are you free tonight?" her text entails. After seeing the message his eyes widened and got excited but kept it all inside. He is not sure what made her ask him this but it could lead to a lot of things. He just wants to hang out with her again. He doesn't know why he feels giddy by this message but who cares.
"No, I am not for free. I come with a prize," he scoffs as he types and hit send. He was about to put it back in his pocket when she replied right after.
"Oh come on..." she replied. Another notification came and read, "Name your price. Are you a dollar a pound?" making Jim laugh.
Kaley quickly looked in his direction and gave her a questioning look. Het stick out his tongue at her which made her annoyed and fake glared at him. He haven't even typed a reply yet when she texted again.
"Meet me at Giorgia's later and Amaya might give away a spoiler!" he gasped at her reply. They conversed pretty often but Mayim never gave spoilers about her new book, he would sneakily ask her to get sneak peeks of the book but she would see through it right away. As her friend and her fan, he was thrilled to see her again later. He typed a quick approval of her request and pocketed his phone and quickly went back to work. Kaley watching his actions just shook her head while hiding her smile. She's happy for whatever they both have.
Third Person's POV
Right after Jim finished what he needs to finish at work, he bid goodbye to Kaley and left the building immediately, and drove on his way to Fair Oaks Vaenue to meet Mayim at a restaurant called Giorgia's Italian Restaurant and Bar. When he entered the restaurant, his eyes searched for the woman he was delighted to see and talk to again in person. And there she was at the corner of the diner near the window waving her arms at him while smiling. There she was dressed in a yellow flowy dress with her hair wrapped in a messy bun. She looks better now than the last time she saw her who had sorrow and wrath in her eyes. Seeing her now in her simplicity without makeup on makes the glimmer in her eyes pop out more. He quickly went near where she was situated.
"Hi!," he greeted. "It's so nice to see you again. You look great!" he complimented as he hugged her savoring the contact before letting go. What is the scent she is wearing? he thought to himself as her scent filled his senses.
"Thank you, and you don't look bad yourself!" she said smiling. She motioned to hand to make him seated in front of her.
"How long have you been waiting? And why didn't you order food, you must be starving," he berated her as he noticed that there are nothing else on the table but a glass of water. He signaled to the water for the menu and looked at Mayim again. He caught her staring at him and asked, "Is there something wrong?"
Mayim heard his question and quickly moved her gaze from him, "Nothing!" she accidentally exclaimed and then looked around to apologize to see if anybody around heard her. It was just so nice of him to put her first rather than his own. Ryan didn't even do that to her, and they were in a relationship for a very long time. He is not like and he would never be Ryan. He's so much better than him.
"Okay! No need to yelp!" he exclaimed making Mayim giggle and mouth sorry. Jim just nodded at her and said thank you to the waiter after handing them the menu. "What do you want to have?" he asked Mayim not looking at her and keeping his eyes on the menu.
"I'll just have anything you'll have," she says looking at him.
"Alright. But don't blame me if you won't like the food that I'll order," he said and Mayim just shrugged.
"Oh, I will like it. Just kidding. I just trust your taste," she says almost mockingly. But through their exchange of text messages for the past few days, they have covered their likes and dislikes in most things. And the food was one of the topics they talked about. They did share the same taste in flavor profile so without a doubt, he'll know that she will enjoy what they will have for dinner.
As they waited for their meal they talked about their favorite series of novels written by James Patterson. Mayim mentioned that she likes Alex Cross which is a crime, mystery, and thriller novel series. The plot entails that Alex Cross is a widower, detective, and father who fights against criminals who wish to kill Cross and others. It mainly focuses on Cross trying to solve difficult cases while attempting to maintain a relationship with his family. One of the antagonists in the earlier books is Gary Soneji, who wants to kill Cross for putting him in prison. Meanwhile, Jim, on the other hand, loves the Women's Murder Club Series which is set in San Francisco, the novels follow a group of women from different professions relating to investigating crimes as they work together to solve murders. The series follows the women through their personal issues, including Lindsay Boxer's medical issues, marriage, and pregnancy. The main characters were originally Lindsay Boxer who is a police officer, Cindy Thomas a reporter, Claire Washburn a medical examiner, and Jill Bernhardt.
Mayim was awestruck with the choice of his book series which highlighted women's empowerment (which is also evident in her own books). He was a man yet he doesn't seem to submit himself to the patriarchy and is seemingly a supporter of feminism.
"Didn't know you are a feminist," she said as she took a swig of red wine. He smiled timidly and nodded in response.
"I was often teased in high school because I have always been into women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes. They said it made me soft or even gay-ish because I was surrounded by toxic men who believe that our sex is the champagne of the sexes. Wherein men use dominance, violence, and control to assert their power and superiority as the basis of being a man. And I don't like that," he said making Mayim's heart melt to him.
"I'm sorry that you have to go through that. But this just shows how much of a good person you are, Jim," she said genuinely.
"I KNOW RIGHT?!" he scoffed dramatically making Mayim laugh. Jim joined her laughter when the food arrived in front of them.
For the appetizer, he ordered a Pizzetta with Fresh Feta Cheese which is a small Pizza with fresh Feta cheese, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, red onion, and mozzarella cheese. For their entree, they will have "Tagliata" which is on their special menu. It is a marinated prime flat iron steak seasoned with herbs, seared and thinly sliced over parmesan mashed potatoes and arugula heirloom tomato salad with shaved parmesan cheese.
"These look awesome!" Mayim commended as she gets giddy seeing all of the food on their table. She then gives a thumbs up and a wink to Jim signaling her approval of the meal.
"I knew you'd like it," he said smiling at her as he sets the napkin on his lap. "Dig in!" as they started to eat.
They quiet after having the first bite of their meal. Each bite component of the dish complimented each other that it was too good that they were rendered mute. This place had a good reputation online and it did not disappoint. They took a mental note of coming back here sometime in the future to try another one from the menu because this is scrumptious.
While they were eating, Jim thought about how she is doing without her ex. He didn't mean any harm to her but hanging out with him might cause a conflict in her relationship with Ryan if they are back together. Or is she doing well these days since the breakup? She looks happy but looks can still be deceiving and he wants to make sure. So even if it is a bit hard for him to ask this but he did blurt it out.
"So, are you okay right now Mayim?" Jim asks breaking the silence. Mayim sits down properly and wiped the sides of her mouth.
"I am!" she smiled at him as she continued to savor a bite of her meal.
"Do you miss him?" he asks looking down at his plate.
"Who? Ryan?" she replied as she scoffs.
"Yeah..."
"I would be lying if I said that I don't," she replied nonchalantly. "But I just keep remembering the rotten things he had done and said to me, and that feeling of missing him is actually me just feeling lonely because I am not with anybody anymore. But look at me. I am more productive than I was during the time I was with him. I am better off without him," she added. Jim just adored her more. She is much stronger than her facade.
"I mean, I don't mean to pry but if we hang out he may-," he was stopped when Mayim spoke.
"Oh, who cares about him? Screw him," she says abruptly and chuckled. "I have moved on from him. But not from the pain he had caused me. Still healing from that but I don't want to be around him anymore. Why would I want to be with somebody who would insult me under their breath? I am stupid then, but not anymore."
" PERIOD!" Jim exclaimed making Mayim laugh. "I am proud of you Mayim!" he added making Mayim blush. "But actually, I came all the way here to here some juicy bits about Amaya B's newest novel," he says whispering Mayim's pseudonym.
Clearing her throat and sitting upright she then spoke, "Well, as you may know, I am writing something as of the moment..."
"Yes! The grand comeback of Amaya B!" he blurted making Mayim hush him while giggling. "Sorry, it's just that I really am your fan," he says as he looks so agitated in his seat as he anticipates what Mayim may tell him.
"Well, the title is Private Eyes," Mayim began.
"Cool! Hall and Oates! Oh, I love Hall and Oates" he snickered and began to sing Private Eyes - Hall and Oates.
"I see you, you see me
Watch you blowin' the lines
When you're making a scene
Oh girl, you've got to know
What my head overlooks
The senses will show to my heart
When it's watching for lies
You can't escape my
Private eyes
They're watching you
They see your every move
Private eyes
They're watching you
Private eyes
They're watching you watching
You watching you watching you~," Jim sang and acted the words as Mayim placed her palm on her face while giggling at his actions.
"This was the reason why I didn't-" she was interrupted when Jim sang again.
"You play with words you play with love
You can twist it around baby that ain't enough
'Cause girl, I'm gonna know
If you're letting me in or letting me go
Don't lie when you're hurting inside
'Cause you can't escape my
Private eyes
They're watching you
They see your every move
Private eyes
They're watching you
Private eyes
They're watching you watching
You watching you watching you~," Jim sang out loud and with feelings getting the attention of people around them. Few were giggling as he sang and acted out the song. Mayim just sat there covering her face from embarrassment but also laughing.
"Jim, come on people are looking at you now. I will pretend to not know you," she begs as she pulled him down to be seated again.
Jim just ignored it and said, "Wait this is the best part of the song," he said and sang again.
"Oooh why you try to put up a front for me?
I'm a spy but on your side, you see
Slip on, into any disguise
I'll still know you
Look into my
Private eyes
They're watching you
They see your every move (Oh babe!)
Private eyes
They're watching you
Private eyes
They're watching you
Private eyes!" he continued.
"Okay, I am done," and he then laughed and sat back down.
He then smiled at Mayim sweetly as her face was crimson red from embarrassment and trying not to laugh too hard. They were both gaining a lot of attention at the restaurant and she didn't want it to escalate and would make them kicked out of the restaurant. Suddenly the people around them started to clap. Mayim flushed again making Jim laugh hard.
The couple who sat at the next table then spoke to Mayim and said, "Your boyfriend must love you so much that he actually sang a lovely song about a stalker following its lover in any move she will do in front of a lot of strangers," the man laughed as Mayim wave her hand to explain that they were not together when the woman who he was with then spoke, "With feelings too!" they both laughed.
"Oh God..." Mayim covered her reddened face.
"She's lucky isn't she?" he wiggled his brows at the couple making them laugh more
"We're not a couple, he is not my boyfriend," she explained to the couple.
Jim then sat next to her and places his arm around her shoulders making Mayim shudder at his touch.
"Baby! Why would you deny me in front of these people?!" he faked and pouted while looking at her. "She's actually mine," he bragged in front of the couple. Mayim widened her eyes and looked at him with a serious face. Their face was so close to each other that they could feel each other's breaths. Jim's eyes were glued to hers and then his sight to her lips. They felt that being this close to each other for the first time was too much yet at the same time they cannot move their sight from each other. Mayim's stomach feels funny as if there are butterflies fluttering in her stomach and Jim was feeling the same. He was thinking of making a move but it was too soon for that and she may feel disrespected as it wouldn't be consented to by her.
Mayim avoided his gaze as it was starting to melt her. Jim cleared his throat and removed his arms around her. He sat back down in his seat earlier and looked down.
"Sorry, that was uncalled for," he spoke. He cleared his throat again," But really Mayim, I am excited and thrilled about your new accomplishment. As a friend, I am genuinely happy for you and as a fan, I feel like this was anticipated. No pressure though!" he added breaking the awkwardness that was beginning to fill the air.
Still recovering from all of the feelings she just had, she just shook her head and assured him that it was fine.
"Thank you. And quite honestly if I didn't meet and befriended you, I would still be months and months from finishing my new novel," she admitted. "Thank you for being my friend, Jim and I promise that you will have the first version of the printed copy."
Jim smiled widely, "This deserves a toast. To more publishes!" he raised his wine glass in front of her. Mayim rose her glass and clinked their glass together. "What do you think of dessert?" Jim asked raising one brow at her.
"Are you a mind reader? Cause you just read my mind!" Mayim smiled as if there were no awkwardness that just happened.
This was the friendship they have had for the past days they have known each other. There would be a scenario where one would say that would make the air awkward but the other will quickly divert the topic and long forgotten the awkwardness. And same goes when someone says something that upsets the other. There were no dry conversations and there was never a dull moment.
They are really fond of each other even if they will not admit it to each other, their actions towards each other speaks more volume.
Third Person's POV
After the scrumptious meal and dessert that they had, they carpooled in Jim's car as Mayim didn't bring hers and had an uber coming to the restaurant. On their way to her apartment, they were singing songs from Beyoncé as they both had friends who liked her and just got influenced by their obsession with her. She had no fun like this before. She discovered new things about herself every day just by talking to him and how she reacts to anything that Jim would tell her or make her do. Like just this instance. She use to enjoy quiet car rides on her way home or with a very minimal volume of an Indie Song playing in her car. But this car ride was something she'd be uncomfortable with if she was with different people but it seems good and normal with Jim.
They were nearing the street to her apartment when she got quiet. Jim noticed it right away and lowered the volume of the music playing.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked looking at her and at the road. Mayim shook her head to brush her thoughts.
"Nothing. Why did you ask?" she wondered looking at him as he steady's his eyes on the road.
"You got quiet all of the sudden. Is it the music? I will change it back," he quickly fiddled with the car radio to change the music.
"No, it's nothing. I am just thinking about work," she lied.
She was thinking about how deafening it is to be alone again. She doesn't know what to do now that they will separate for the night. It maybe is too much to ask him to stay a bit longer and she doesn't want to impose more of his time. He already went straight to see her after his work, he may be very tired yet he was just all bubbly and lively earlier. Not once did he mention that he was tired.
He looked at her and held her gaze, "You sure? Nothing's bothering you?" he asked one last time then his eyes went back to the road again.
"Of course..." she giggled. "Eyes on the road, we are not immortal. You know that right?" she scolded him jokingly.
"Of course ma'am. Why would I drive you to heaven so soon ma'am?" he replied making both of them chuckle. Damn, this is wrong to feel like I'd miss him right away once I leave this car, she thought to herself.
As they were approaching the corner of Mayim's street, she suddenly look quite shocked so Jim tried to look where her eyes are glued. She was looking at a car parked in front of the driveway of her apartment complex.
"Anybody you know?" he asked as he took his seatbelt off. Mayim held his hand to stop him from opening the car door.
"Don't!" she yelped not looking at him.
"Mayim, wait here I will open your door for you," he calmly said but Mayim just gripped his hands more. "Are you okay? Look at me please?" Jim asked as he was slightly worried about her sudden actions. Her hands were actually cold despite her tight grip on his wrist.
"That's Ryan's car," she said looking at him with anxiety in her eyes.
"Do you know why he's here?"
"I don't know. I honestly don't know," she said as she unbuckled her own seatbelt.
"Would you want me to accompany you to your door, May?" he asked her concern emanating in his voice.
"No, I will be okay. I should know why he's here," she said looking at him.
"Are you sure?" he asked once again.
"Yes, of course. Thank you so much for tonight, Jim. I had fun. Text me when you arrive home, okay? Till next time Jimmy Pea," she said and gave him a hug. She opened the door and exited his car.
She waved at him and he waved back as he placed his key inside the ignition and his engine hummed and drove away. Jim was worried because he did not know for sure if he could trust that Ryan wouldn't hurt Mayim knowing how bad their last encounter was. He was uneasy and he really wants to go back since he can't calm himself down if something horrible will happen to his new friend. But at the same time, he knows all too well that he has no business inside them. And if there's anything they need to address to each other, he should not care.
Mayim
As soon as Jim's car left her premise, she began to walk from the parking lot on her way to her floor and her door. As she slowly approached her door, she saw the man that she doesn't want to see sitting on the floor crouched with arms crossed in front of him. Not now that she is slowly healing from all the pain he had caused her. She knows that once she will see his face, she will melt again. All of the walls she tried to build to stay strong from the havoc he had caused her life will be broken again.
As she walked closer to her door, Ryan might have sensed her so he stood up without looking at her. He was looking down as she slowly approached him. Mayim didn't want to be near him but she needs to know what she wants to get over it.
"What are you doing here?" she spoke breaking the silence in the air. Ryan stood near her and Mayim winced, "Don't touch me!" she yelped.
He exhaled and nodded apologetically still not looking at her. "I came here to apologize Mayim. All of those words I said I didn't mean it. It's just because I am exhausted and stressed at work and I kind of poured it on you. I know that it was wrong of me to do that to you, it's unreasonable. And I do owe my mistake. I swear I will never do that to you again," he said sincerely.
Mayim can't hold it anymore and the tears she was trying to hide were streaming down her face. All of the pain resurfaced upon hearing all of these, her heart became soft for him again. She swore that she won't get back with him ever again but she was a slave to her heart.
Ryan heard her sob and embraced her in a hug. "I am sorry, please don't cry...shhh," he shushed as her face rested on his chest. "I don't know if you want me again after all I have said, but I swear Mayim I won't do it again. J-just give us another chance."
Mayim didn't know what to say. She was weak, she felt flustered and confused all at the same time. Her brain is yelling for her to not fall for his words again but her heart was like a pool of goop. His embrace was very warm and she really missed having him around.
Ryan raised his hand and placed it on Mayim's cheeks and wiped the tears. As she continued to cry and was speechless from everything she was hearing now. Mayim raised her sight and locked eyes with Ryan. There she was, met with his gaze. For a moment they were silent when his lips crashed on hers. He kissed her gently at first then she started to kiss him back placing her arms around his neck.
Warning: Beware of mature and adult content. Reader's discretion is advised.
Mayim broke the kiss off as she hastily looked for her apartment's key from her bag and opened the door to her apartment. Once they were situated inside, Ryan then owned her lips once again pinning her to the wall as they continued to make out. Mayim then slowly unbuttoned his top and threw it on the floor. Ryan broke the kiss and spin her around to unzip her dress.
"Time for this to come off. You look better without it," he huskily whispered in her ear and left tender kisses on her nape and he slipped her dress off of her. He turned her to face him and his eyes eyed her up and down as she was only dressed in her underwear and her bra. Enjoying the view in front of him he then kissed her again brushing his tongue gently on her lips to ask for entrance. She opened her mouth to grant him entrance tasting him in her mouth.
His hands were resting on her love handles as they caressed the skin there and snaked on its way to Mayim's breast. Mayim moaned as she enjoyed the contact. "This should go too," he whispered as he snapped the hooks of her bra revealing her tits. He then toyed with the other while he took the other inside his mouth slightly nibbling with her nipple. Mayim threw her head back as she relished the things that Ryan has been doing to her body. All of the anger and hurt are gone by his hasty touch that drives her crazy.
As he gave attention to her chest, Mayim brushed her fingers through Ryan's hair and she gently pressed his face to her bosom letting him know that she loves this contact. Ryan slid his hand from her tits down to her abdomen then to the garter of her panties. He looked her in the eye to ask for permission as his hands brushed her skin there. She gently nodded then he quickly placed his hand inside and rubbed her clit. Mayim rolled her eyes as she moaned. He grin knowing how wet she was for him. He pulled away for her for a second and asked, "Should we continue this one in the bedroom?"
Mayim just smiled in response. He took her hand and lead them to the bedroom.
End
Jim
As he came home, he savored the memories he had today with her. His heart was full. The day was spent well, he had a productive day at work and a fun dinner with his new friend. He drive her on her way home and had a fun karaoke session with her. He learned and adored her from what he knew about her. Not only was she smart and resilient but she was also very kind and funny. He just knew that Mayim is one of his people. He is just happy to have her in his life. But there is just the threat of her ex. What is it that he wants now? He knew that Mayim ended what they already had so he doesn't really know what he wants to do with her. He just chose to believe that Mayim would stick with her words. She says that whatever may happen, she will not go back with Ryan as he already caused a lot of pain and sorrow in her life.
With all his thoughts alone while sitting on his couch, he remembered that Mayim had asked him to send her a text once he arrived home. He then pulled his phone from his pocket and typed a message.
"I just arrived home. Tonight was fun! Looking forward to hanging with you again sometime!" his message indicates. A few minutes passed by but there was no response from her. Usually, within a few minutes, his messages would be on read, and would get a reply from her. He suddenly got worried thinking about whatever Ryan may have done to her already. Or she may be in a deep slumber by now. Pulling his phone again, he then typed another message.
"I think you're already sleeping. Well, I hope you feel rested as you read this text, Chaya. Tell me what happened last night okay?" he sent. He would be lying if he'd say he is not worried about Mayim being alone with his ex. But he only knew him through Mayim's stories so he doesn't really know what to feel about them. But one thing's for sure, whatever may happen after this night he'd hope that he and Mayim would still like to hang out with him.
It's either she's a wreck after having another confrontation in their relationship and she'd be insulted again. Or she could be fighting him knowing that she hangs out with a friend he is not aware of. Even if they are broken up, he may think that he still owns Mayim and that could totally happen. Or worst, what if they will be back together?
It's not wrong for them to be together but he is not assured that things that escalated that night they broke up won't happen again. Mayim is just as fragile as how strong she looks and pretends to be. She doesn't say anything yet he can still see through her that she still longed for Ryan. It has only been days since they broke up, yet they have been in each other's life for years. Thinking about how long their relationship was, which was a little bit over 5 years, you'd think that there should be a ring now on her finger.
"If I was Ryan, I'd marry her right away. I just know that someone like her would make me want to spend the rest of my days better alongside that kind of person," he unconsciously thought to himself. Realizing his thought,Marriage?!, he cringes.
Standing up, he just decided to take a quick shower before dressing up to go to bed.
Mayim

His cock plowed in and out her tight pussy as her hand tightly grasped her sheets as she was laid on her stomach. He was gripping her on her shoulder as the full length of Ryan's member slipped in and out of her. She was moaning and gasping for air as Ryan continued to fuck her from behind. Ryan liked the way how her moans started to have a higher pitch as he ride her into oblivion.
He then placed a kiss on her back as he removed his shaft from her trembling walls. He grabs her arm gently and made her face him and kissed her fully in the mouth. He bent down and kissed her neck as he went down with wet kisses to her abdomen and left a chaste kiss on top of her reddening pussy. He stood up, raised her left leg, and entered her once again, making Mayim roll her eyes and throw her head to her pillow. He slowly trusted in and out at first then slowly his pace become brisk.
"Oh Mayim, you're so tight!" he says as his breaths started to become shallow. He then dived down and gave attention to her pink and perky breasts as he sucked and nibbled them with his teeth
"I'm near. Go faster," she demanded as she met his thrust for her own pleasure.
Ryan obliged and made his thrust faster. She could feel the head building up inside him making her orgasm close as well. He continued to ride in and out of her as their tongue danced in their wet and sloppy kiss.
"Cum with me," he said with hooded eyes.
As the heat began to bubble inside of her, she knew that she was near her orgasm. Ryan was groaning as he pumped his dick inside of her about to explode his seed inside of her. Ryan was moaning her name as he was approaching his climax.
"Jim..." she whispered as she reached her peak. Still not recovering from his high, Ryan didn't hear her as he was approaching his peak as well and continued to pump his seed, emptying himself inside of her. He then sighed loudly and fell into the crevice of Mayim's neck. He gently placed soft kisses on them as they both recovered from their high.
End
He released a heavy sigh and made Mayim lie on his chest and made his chin rest on top of her head and he spoke," Baby I am so sorry. I will never do it again. Just please don't leave me."
"I won't," she replied raising her view to look him in the eye.
"I love you, baby. This time it would be better. I will be better," he admits kissing her forehead.
She doesn't know if she is making a mistake by taking Ryan back. But all she knows now is that she will entrust him with her heart to not break it again. She still loves him. She can deny it all day every day but she knows so well that he was her weakness and just a sorry, she would take him back. But this time she feels that it will be different. It will be.
