Chapter 11
"And here we are, this is the Resout Town." Ash says.
"This town looks like Fortree City...Look at all the treehouses..." Brawly remarks.
"Indeed. And that cafe in front of you is our Resout Gym. The top of the big tree has a giant arena which is capable of using Dynamax without any problem." Ash says.
"And this place is crowded not only because of the gym battles but also the Bug-themed cafe." Alice says. "I think all of you know about this one as well, the Honey Cafe. It started in Alola and then expanded to other regions.
After entering the cafe, they find Insey in her maid costume as she is placing the desserts on the table. "Here you go, this is our Summer Special: Mango Mousse."
The customers are enjoying the dishes, and Ash says, "I guess that the one battling for this gym is Ms. Viola, right?"
"That's right. Because of the experience in the previous gym, I think I know what to prepare for the upcoming battle." Viola replies.
"Don't think it will be that easy." Insey walks towards the group and bows, "Brother, Aurora. I'm glad the ones who come are the two of you, so you can help me with the baking and other things."
"No problem. You do your battle, Aurora and I will handle the cafe." Ash turns to the others, and Gardenia asks, "So you have to manage the cafe right now?"
"As much as I want to, but that's the purpose why we are here." Ash says. "Since we have televisions in the cafe, why don't you all take a seat as we prepare some desserts for you?"
The others nod as they take some seats, and just then, they see a green Eeveelution with small Beedrill wings on his back. Ash says, "Ah, Ephemeon, you've come to see us?"
The Pokemon nods, and Bugsy asks, "Is that a Bug Type Eeveelution?"
"This is Ephemeon, and you're right about it being a Bug Type Eeveelution. It's a swift and fierce hunter, it can vibrate its wings at supersonic speeds, and its Stinger-shaped tails are used to battle or intimidate foes." Alice says.
"It has Speed Boost and Technician as its ability and Tinted Lens as Hidden Ability. To evolve it, you just need to level it up and have a Beedrill in the party." Ash says. "Ephemeon, do you want to help me with the desserts?"
The Pokemon nods as it leaves with Ash and Alice. While Ash and Alice are inside the kitchen making desserts, the traitors are planning something again.
"So this is their kitchen... I wonder if I can learn how to make those desserts so that my restaurant can be famous?" Mallow asks.
"I don't know about that." Brock replies.
"Judging by the looks of it, there must be some secret formula that needs to be found." Cilan says.
At the same time, Ash and Alice are in the kitchen, they already have a plan ready to make Mallow miserable. But first, they have a lot of hungry customers to go. After a while, Ash and Alice come out with honey cakes on each of the tables. Everyone tries out the dessert and they enjoy them a lot.
"Wow...this Honey Cake is very different from the ones I've eaten before..." Bea gasps.
"The flavor in this mouth...the Combee Honey is very fresh..." Burgh comments.
"This sure is the most delicious dessert..." Whitney says.
The traitors have to admit that the cake is really delicious, but that just only fuels Mallow's determination to find out what it is made of. When Ash walks to the table, he asks, "Do you enjoy our desserts?"
"How do you make this cake? Can you tell us the recipe?" Korrina is the one asking, and Ash chuckles, "I'm sorry, but it takes us a lot of trial and error to make this kind of cafe. I don't think it is appropriate to just reveal our recipe."
Alice says, "Not to mention, even if you have the recipe, you won't be able to duplicate the whole thing because it is too complicated."
"And what if we can duplicate the whole thing, wanna bet?" Misty asks.
Ash sighs as his revenge plan is in motion. Ash says, "I don't know...Does anyone of you good in the kitchen?"
Some of the leaders raise their hands, and Ash picks Mallow since this is a revenge plan for her. Mallow is delighted that she's chosen so that she can try to take the formula and use it in her kitchen.
"Now here is the recipe." After Ash and Alice bring Mallow to the kitchen, they decide to give her the recipe, so that she can try to make her own Honey Cake. But what she doesn't know is that Ash and Alice have set up a trap: Some of the words in the recipe are written in a special ink designed by David, if accidentally touched by moisture, the ink will disappear.
Because Mallow has to wash her hands, even though she might have used a handkerchief to wipe the moisture out, some of it will still be on her hands, even if just a small drop is capable of removing the recipe. Once she finishes the cake, everyone tries it out, only to find that it is not sweet at all.
"I still like Champion Red's better, it was sweeter than this one." "And she calls herself a chef, how could she forget to add sugar inside?"
Mallow can't believe that she's been booed by everyone in the room, and she feels humiliated when she notices Ash and Alice, who gives her a look of disappointment. Misty yells, "You must have done something to the recipe!"
"Excuse me? Like we would have the time doing that." Ash says.
"Indeed. We were serving customers outside the kitchen, are you accusing us of sabotaging your friends' work?" Alice asks.
The other gym leaders also nod at how Ash and Alice are saying the truth, and Ash also shows the recipe to everyone. There is another advantage of the special pen, even though the ink will disappear after the moisture, once it is dry, it will be returned to the paper. Ash says, "You saw our recipe, yet your desire to become better than our cafe causes you to try to change our recipe. And besides, you haven't tasted it before giving it to the customer, meaning that you're proud of your work so much that you don't need to double-check it again. I hope this will be your lesson."
Mallow and the other traitors can only lower their hands in shame, as for the cake, Ash and Alice feel sorry to let it go to waste, so they decide to hide it in the kitchen so Insey can fix the cake. But they are happy to find that their revenge against Mallow is a success, one down, there are 11 more to go.

"All that's left is Insey." Ash says. "According to Dad, Insey was brought to a family in the Unova Region."
"Trenor says, "There are a lot of families in the Unova Region. How are we sure that the one we're finding is Insey?"
"We have a similar aura, so we will be able to find where she is." Ash says.
In the Pinwheel Forest, the 5 siblings are surprised to see a lot of Bug Pokemon flying in a direction as fast as they can, much to their surprise. Golly says, "What's going on here?"
Ash says, "That is strange since Bug Type Pokemon were flying in that direction..."
Minami thinks for a second and says, "Could it be the Bug Witch?"
"Bug Witch?" Mark asks in confusion. "What's that?"
"In Castelia City, I heard a girl who liked to make desserts, and she would go into the woods to give out her desserts to the Bug Type Pokemon. And whenever she decides to leave, the Bug Pokemon will follow her as they want more. But a lot of people are treating her as the devil because there were dead people tied up by silk and webs at the sight where she used to stay, and some of the dead bodies' organs were missing. People called her the Bug Witch and created a lot of stories that would scare the children."
"To be able to give desserts to Bug Type Pokemon and have them kill humans... I wonder what's the Bug Witch's goal is..." Golly says.
"Maybe we should check it out." Ash says as they head deeper into the woods, but after walking for a while, they are surrounded by Bug Type Pokemon and they were tied up by string shots.
"Damn it... we were too careless..." Mark says.
"I already told your boss to stop stalking me, and yet your boss never listened. I wonder if he's willing to send more of his goons to be killed..." Just then, they see the girl standing in front of them.
Trenor asks, "That's the Bug Witch?"
"I guess so..." Mark whisper back.
Ash says, "Now wait for a second, we're not working with anyone. We're here because we're just passing by."
"And why should I trust you?" The girl says. "If you think doing the same trick will make me fall again, think again."
Ash suddenly glows a little, and the string shot tied around him is broken. Ash says, "I do not wish to fight you. The five of us are siblings and we're searching for our last sibling. Her name is Insey Ketchum, and I wish you let us go so we can continue our search."
Suddenly, the girl flinches as she says, "My name is Insey Ketchum... who are you guys?"
"My name is Ash, on the trees that you tied are Mark, Minami, Golly, and Trenor. If you really are Insey Ketchum, then you must've remembered that we're siblings, right?"
Insey says, "If you really are my brothers and sisters, prove it!"
"We'll definitely proof it for sure." Ash says as he uses the Aura Connection, and when Insey's aura connects with Ash's, she gasps and says, "Brother... it really is you."
Then she calls the Bug Pokemon to free all four of them, and Mark says, "Geez... to think the Bug Witch is our sister."
Minami says, "But I thought you were with a family, why are you alone here?"
Insey growls and says, "That family is no family. They are slave traders who have been selling slaves, I managed to escape because I was able to talk to these Bug Type Pokemon, but they have been sending people after me."
"So the people that were killed by the so-called Bug Witch, they really were your doing?" Ash asks.
"I asked the Bug Type Pokemon to tie them up with the silk and escaped, what happened to them in the end was not my business." Insey says. "Now let's ignore that. I've been alone for 10 years and you only find me now?"
"Every one of us has suffered." Golly says, "We only got reunited just by a few hours."
Ash says, "Insey, you may not like what we're saying, but our mother was murdered."
"What? What happened?" Insey asks in horror, then they decide to explain what happened to Insey, for Ash, this is probably the fifth time he's saying the story, and the others also say their stories as well. Insey can feel rage and says, "You're saying the world believes in the lies of the real murderers and saying that you killed our mother? If anything, you were the last person who will try to kill our mother!"
"That's why we're still on the run, Dad is helping us gather allies, and we're also escaping to an island that belonged to Dad in the past. Nobody would find us there, and we're going to create our own paradise as well."
"I see. I'm definitely going to join. But before we do that, can we do one more thing?" Insey says as she wants to deal with the slave traders that keep going after her. The five other siblings nod as they are willing to help her out.
When they finally get to the spot where the slave traders are, they kill every single one of them and also burn the place down. They make it just like an accident caused by the Fire Type Pokemon and also reveal the lies of the Bug Witch as remains in the destroyed house, so people would drop the rumors.
After meeting Alice and also starting dating, they decide to use their Bug Type Disguises for dessert makers, with Insey agreeing to help out, they set up a dessert store in the Alola Region: The Honey Cafe. They make the best honey cakes in the world and people are trying to learn their recipe, only to fail in the end because they intend to keep it a secret.
