Chapter 3: Last but not least

The next morning Ruby Prime awoke to find everyone already starting breakfast. It seemed that the rations and water given out by the system were irrelevant since the one called Hex from Universe 13 was like a walking storehouse, granted her food items were limited to cans and dried goods, but it was still better than hard tac and beef jerky.

It was another misty morning, the city was cold, and not even the sound of morning birds could be heard. Only her team and their counterparts were up and making noise.

Her head hurt from falling asleep on the cold ground and her clothes felt soggy, "Ugh I need to change…" Ruby felt around to find her own pack but realized that never fell with her. Deciding to just bear with it and hope her clothes dried out on her, she sat at the table.

Hex and Luna were once again handling cooking, Nitro was fast asleep still and Team RWBY-13 were organizing their supplies. Her team was sitting at the table, Blake stretched out like a cat and Yang's hair was a mess so she was busy brushing it out.

"Morning guys," she said groggily, "Sleep well?"

Weiss snorted as she sipped on her coffee, "Better than you I suppose. You look like the aftermath of a rainstorm," she handed Ruby a pocket mirror apparently borrowed from Weiss-13.

Ruby noticed her eyes were baggy and her hair was sticking up in an ungodly way. There were even creases on her face from sleeping on the grass.

"Rats, I look terrible…" she muttered.

"Go take a shower, Hex has the portable one over there. Water's not hot but it's not cold either." Weiss gestured to the enclosed portable shower.

Ruby shot her a blank look, "My clothes are soaked from the dew, so I'd rather not change into wet clothes thanks…"

At that moment Ruby-13 was walking past and overheard their conversation, "Oh, you need clothes? You can just borrow mine." She placed her coffee cup down on the table and to Ruby's surprise, her counterpart was drinking black coffee.

She noticed her staring and chuckled, "Bad habit I picked up from Nova. He drinks his coffee black so sometimes I end up taking mine the same. Tastes terrible though."

"Then why drink it?" Ruby raised an eyebrow.

She just shrugged, "It… makes me feel like he's here when he's not." Despite her warm smile, Ruby could tell her counterpart was still worried.

"Bad habit or withdrawal symptoms?" Luna asked as she waltzed over with a plate full of toast and canned tuna. Ruby-13 just shot the little girl another annoyed look while the latter snickered and began chowing down.

Deciding to ignore their antics, Ruby Prime asked, "You sure I can borrow your clothes?" she eyed her skeptically.

"Well, unless your boobs are bigger than mine they should be fit fine. Come on, we're like the same person, think of it as using your own clothes." She winked.

Ruby Prime couldn't help but think of her older self like an older sister for a moment, "Well… thanks then."

Her counterpart rummaged into her bag, brought out a storage cube, and checked its contents, "Okay, definitely have spare underwear. Just go shower, I'll leave them on the side so you can just grab them and change in the shower."

After getting done with their morning routines the team was left to gather around the table and figure out their next move.

"Alright, so what's the plan?" Weiss asked, looking at her leader.

Ruby just blinked, "You're asking me?"

"Well you're our leader aren't you?" Weiss meant to say this as an offhand joke but Ruby felt that question echo in her core. Swallowing her insecurities, she spoke up.

"Well… how good are we on supplies? The system said to explore but I'm not sure what they mean by that…" Ruby directed the question to the universe-13 team.

Ruby-13 tapped her chin, "Well, inventory is looking decent but we can't be too careful. One thing we are lacking is first aid equipment and… these things called repair kits?"

"Oh I saw one in my inventory but it says I don't have the skills to use it," Ruby Prime pointed out, tapping into her inventory and taking the item out. It was a small tool kit that didn't seem to differ from a regular box of tools.

"Anyone else has these?" she looked to her team.

They all began checking their inventories but came up dry.

Ruby frowned, "When I came here and I checked Crescent Rose, it said the weapon was damaged… is anyone else's weapon in need of repair?"

"Mine's lost some durability after the last fight…" Hex said as she checked hers.

Weiss Prime frowned, "Mine too… what's up with that?"

Flicking her gauntlets and noticing a few chinks in the metal, Yang Prime also grew confused, "These were specially made. They're not supposed to get damaged…"

This made Ruby-13 check her own weapon and came up surprised, "What the fuck?! MY BABY!" she was cradling her Crescent Rose and shedding a single tear.

Yang, Weiss, and Blake suddenly choked and fell over, "YOU JUST SWORE!" Weiss pointed at the Ruby counterpart.

Ruby-13 blinked confused, "Yes...?"

"Oh my god… this version of Ruby uses swear words… impossible…" Weiss pretended to faint.

Yang Prime faked despair, "Oh my baby sister… her innocence ruined by the cruel world…" she began to fake shed tears.

At those words, Luna snickered and Ruby-13 shot her a look making her stop. This didn't go unnoticed by the Prime team but they thought nothing of it.

"Hmmm," Hex looked at the system, "Says here that weapons lose durability over time, if they lose all durability then they break. They won't be restored using a repair kit if that happens…"

"So we need to keep our weapons in top condition to avoid breaking…" Ruby-13 pondered, "Alright, we need to find resources. The system said that we have time before the next trial so let's see if we can gather as many repair kits as we can before then."

Her team nodded immediately and simultaneously responded, "Right."

Ruby almost felt the urge to comply, it seemed her counterpart commanded a certain presence that even she was falling victim to. Maybe it was the difference in charisma stats?

"We should do the same, split into groups, and fan out." Ruby Prime said looking at her team.

Hex pulled up the map and showed everyone, "We're here," she pointed at the center point. "There are six connecting roads… how do we want to do this? If we go by the math, then two people take a street?"

Ruby-13 turned to her counterpart, "How does your team handle these situations? Pair off with your partner?"

The Prime nodded, "Yeah, I'd go with Weiss, Blake goes with Yang, and you guys can split off on your own?"

Luna let out a sneaky laugh, "That sounds nice and all but we're down one person. I think we should use this as… a bonding opportunity."

Ruby Prime faltered, "What do you mean?"

"How about pairing off with your counterparts? Weiss goes with Weiss, Yang with Yang, and so on."

The Yangs looked at each other, then the Prime looked back at Blake. There was a silent conversation where Yang's eyes looked like they wanted to go with her, but one on one bonding from their other selves was too good to pass up.

"That sounds like a good idea to me," Yang Prime smirked and looked at her other self.

"What's better than one Yang? TWO YANGS!" the older one high-fived her counterpart.

The Weiss-es sighed simultaneously, "Sure why not." She looked at the Blakes who were already nodding at each other.

"What do you say other me? Down for an adventure?" Ruby-13 asked.

"I would but if we pair off it means we're leaving one person to check out a path by themselves…"

Luna shot her hand up, "I call dibs!"

Ruby Prime was surprised by the little girl's enthusiasm while her counterpart gave the little girl a thumbs up, "Alright, I trust you to handle yourself."

"Is that safe letting her go alone?" Ruby Prime looked at her other self incredulously.

"She'll be fine. She might not look like it, but Luna can be her own one-man army, plus the only people who complement her powers are either Nova or Oscar and well neither of them is here."

"I see…" Ruby Prime was puzzled at the mention of Oscar. Was he a primary fighter too? The Oscar she knew was capable but leaned more toward the intellectual side of things.

"OI NITRO, STOP SLEEPING AND GET TO WORK!" Hex gave her brother a hard kick in the side.

"WAH! WHO WHAT?! WHEN?! WHY?!"

"Brush your teeth and get some coffee, we're going to dig in the trash!"

With the teams splitting off and heading to their respective locations. The two Rubys followed down the east path, navigating through the concrete jungle. They moved in relative silence for the most part, looking for any buildings that looked open or lootable.

"So… other me…" Ruby-13 asked, walking with her hands behind her head while the other was training her eyes on the surroundings like a hawk.

"What's up?" why was her counterpart so relaxed in this situation?

"I noticed when Weiss made a certain comment earlier you tensed up. Mind telling me what's wrong?"

Ruby glanced at her sideways, "What's it matter to you?" there was a harsh defensive tone in her voice that threw her counterpart off guard.

"Woah, easy. I just figured something was bothering you. I know you guys just got out of Atlas so I'm sure it's still stressing you out." She tried to diffuse her other self.

"I'm fine. There's nothing left to talk about." She said curtly.

Ruby-13 flinched, "It's not good to keep these things bottled up…"

"I said I'm fine!" she shouted, almost spinning around on Ruby-13 when the system suddenly flashed in front of them.

"DANGER APPROACHING! BE PREPARED!"

"Looks like we got incoming…" Ruby-13 drew her Crescent Rose and Ruby noticed its design was different from hers. The blade was translucent and shining steel like it was made of glass, and around the head of the scythe was a chain mechanism.

She didn't get time to question it when a black mist rolled in around them, spawning several Grimm.

On the other street, the two Blakes were looting a small convenient store, the door wasn't boarded up so they decided to check it out. It was strange how these buildings resembled ones from their own world yet much larger. It begged the question: What exactly happened here?

Most of the shelves were empty to no surprise, but there were still a few things to be found, thus the cat girls were meticulously perusing each shelf for even the smallest of items.

"Got anything?" Blake-13 asked as she rounded into her counterpart's aisle.

Blake Prime's ears flickered at her approach, "Just some bandages and rations. What about you? Any repair kits?"

The other shook her head, "Nope, just water and some machine parts… not sure what those are for."

"Think the others are having better luck?"

Blake-13 shrugged, "Probably, but you know I've been meaning to ask…"

"Hm?"

"You and Yang huh?"

Blake turned beet red instantly, "N-NO! Well… not yet…"

Her counterpart snickered, "Not yet she says." the older Blake shook her head airily, "I hope it works out for you."

The younger Blake tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "She's… really strong. She's brave and reliable, like a solid guardian, but soft and gentle at the same time."

"Yeah, my Yang is like that too. She's our second in command whenever our leaders are unavailable. She's reliable and level-headed, something that she grew into over time." She reminisced, "Don't get me wrong, though. I never felt that way for her. She was… like the older sister of our group, looking out for everyone. Maybe at one point, I was beginning to feel that way but when Yang found Hex, and I saw their relationship, those feelings were snuffed out pretty quickly."

Blake folded her arms and looked at her with a half smile, "If you could go back, would you try to date your Yang?"

Blake-13 blinked at the strange question then thought hard, "No, I wouldn't. I'm really happy with my Sun. He has this bright energy that lifts my spirits in ways Yang can't. While the rest of us changed with the world… he always stayed the same. At first, I thought he was just naïve… but really it's just how he is."

After a moment of smiling to herself she spoke again, "Well, our universes are different. Still... I think you two will be good for each other."

Blake Prime blushed, deciding to accept her words as a sign of confidence.

With the Yangs, they had just cleared out a pack of Grimm. Their fighting styles were similar, except Yang Prime noticed her counterpart had much faster reaction speeds and whenever she punched an explosive yellow energy would shoot out.

"What's that power?" she asked as Yang-13 obliterated the last Beowolf.

She blinked then looked at her fists, then back at Yang Prime, "Oh this? It's Aura Mastery. It's an advanced technique Dad taught me."

"What?! How come my dad didn't teach me that stuff?"

Yang-13 shrugged, "Maybe he didn't know? Then again I don't know how Aura works in your world."

"So… what is it exactly?"

She pondered for a moment, wondering how to explain herself, "Well… it's having complete control over your Aura to the point where you can direct its flow from passive defense to full-on offense by gathering it in your fists like this…" she demonstrated by letting the Aura flow from over her body to her fists.

"Then you just throw a punch like…" Yang-13 threw a punch into the air and Ember Celia let out a blast, combined with the Aura it created a strong shockwave that rattled the buildings.

"WOAH!" Yang Prime marveled, "That's so cool!"

Her counterpart smirked, "Yeah you can also direct it back to specific parts of your body to make an even stronger shield, like this!" she let the Aura flow from her fists to her shoulders that hardened like armor.

"TEACH ME!"

Yang-13 pondered, "I don't mind but it's really hard. Took me and Nova months to learn it. Well… if you're me then you should pick it up quickly."

As they were speaking the system flashed in front of them. "Bonus Event! Defend the park from the beasts! Rewards: 10 Repair Kits and Points!"

"Looks like we need to head back…" Yang-13 said reading the message.

"Another defense mission? Like the first one?"

"Maybe… they said beasts not monsters this time though…"

Ruby-13 and Ruby Prime were cleaning up the last of the Grimm, with the Prime variant of the two rapidly spinning through three Beowolves when a blade on a chain shot past her anchoring into the Alpha in the back. She watched in slow motion as the chain retracted quickly, yanking the Alpha toward Ruby-13 before she decapitated it in one move.

As soon as the last of the Grimm were demolished, the system flashed with the event notification.

"We should head back, event starts in…" she checked the timer, "One hour?"

Ruby Prime looked at her and then back at the streets, they seemed to branch off in different directions. She then checked her durability on Crescent Rose. It wasn't doing so well.

"Head back, I'll catch up in a minute. I spotted a building over there I want to check out first." Ruby Prime said with a serious expression.

Ruby-13 nodded, "Alright, don't take too long," and with that, she petal burst away.

Once she was gone, Ruby breathed a heavy sigh. Many thoughts were running through her head, she needed to clear them before the fight started.

"She's so nosy… and perceptive," Ruby muttered to herself, entering the store. It was a small clothing shop with tattered robes hanging from the racks. Most of it wasn't useful, either filled with holes or ragged beyond repair.

"Like why the hell is she so much… ugh… mature? Is that the word?" Ruby asked herself, rummaging for supplies.

"It's like she knows everything, she even handles her team better than I do!" she kicked a rack and a small box fell out. 'Repair Tool Kit' it read when she picked it up.

"Huh… convenient."

She checked her clock, "Thirty more minutes… also her clothes are too big," she grumbled tugging at the outfit Ruby-13 gave her. It was a black button-up vest thrown over a grey long-sleeved shirt followed by a red skirt and black knee socks.

"What's with this fashion sense?" she checked herself out in a mirror, "Well… it's not bad."

Despite her complaining, Ruby Prime's sense of jealousy simmered down. It felt like being around her made her feel more inadequate than she already was. Deciding to swallow the feelings she grabbed a few salvageable pieces of clothing, namely some scarves and gloves before ducking out of the store.

As she exited the store, the sound of an empty can hitting the concrete alerted her. Instantly she was in combat mode, scanning the empty streets for signs of enemies. It was foggy, much foggier than when they left. She could barely see ten feet in front of her. Something in the fog caught her eye, a silhouette amidst the gray. It was humanoid… still, she didn't let down her guard.

"Who's there?" she called out, sure the person had noticed her already.

They began walking out of the mist… waving their hands?

"Identify yourself!" she aimed her sniper in their direction. The person suddenly stopped and tilted their head to one side, and as Ruby blinked they were gone.

Backing up to the store, she looked around in fear, at least until she backed into something soft instead of the hard wall she was expecting.

Spinning around she swung her scythe in an uppercut but it was easily blocked by the person, a scaly, fiery-orange, and inhuman-looking arm grabbing hold of the scythe.

"Hey, that's rude," he said calmly.

She could see him clearly, a taller boy about 5ft 9 inches with bright silver hair that had orange streaks running along the outer rim of its wavy length. He had a pair of black dragon horns atop his head and a pair of mismatched eyes. The left eye was black with a long scar running across the eyebrow to the middle of his cheek, the right eye was bright red.

Trying to wrench Crescent Rose from his grip was a futile effort as it wouldn't budge against his strength.

His eyes bore no animosity, they were gentle with a hint of curiosity. She searched his face and found there were scales running along his upper cheeks that matched the colour of his caramel skin.

Instead of responding to her attack, he sniffed briefly, causing Ruby to jump back at the time he released her weapon.

"Who are you?!" she was slightly disturbed by his action.

His brows furrowed, "Well… you look like Ruby, you sound like Ruby and you smell almost like Ruby but you're not the Ruby I know…"

She blinked, taken aback, "How do you know me? Who are you?"

Heaving a sigh he folded his arms. Now that Ruby was far back from him she noticed the heavy sword sheath hanging from his belt. It stuck out compared to his black jeans, orange shirt, and white coat that was embroidered in silver along the shoulders and seams. He was quite handsome but Ruby couldn't take her eyes off the arm that stopped her weapon.

"I'm Nova Flareheart," he showed her his basic information, awkwardly leaning on one side with his right hand on his hip.

'Nova Alexandrite Flareheart of Remnant X-13. Location: City Block B Subsection: 3

Age: 19 Years Old

Height: 5ft 10 inches

Semblance: Adaptability

Aura Level: Full

"And you're Ruby Rose. Well, a Ruby Rose anyway," he said curiously. "I had a feeling there'd be multiple of us but… it's jarring to see it for myself."

When Ruby read the information she put down her scythe, "You're the fabled Nova I've heard about."

He blinked, "You know me?"

She nodded, "I met your world's team, they're in the park… wait how are you now here?!"

He scratched his head awkwardly, "I'm uh… not the best with directions if I'm being honest. I can find my way around easily enough but in a place I've never been to before? I'm stumped."

Ruby felt her sweat drop. This person… was hopeless. From the impressions the others gave her… she was expecting a tall, mature-looking person that commanded a presence like Ruby-13… but this guy was just awkward.

"Ugh… follow me I guess. They're gathering in the park for an event of sorts. Are you familiar with the system?" she asked, beckoning him to follow.

He nodded, "More or less. I've got the basics down. Lead the way other world's Ruby."

They moved at a semi-fast pace, with about twenty minutes to get to the area they weren't making good time.

"So… what's your world number?" Nova asked as they made their way.

She rolled her eyes, he sounded just like Ruby-13, "It says Remnant Prime."

He whistled, "Well that's a real kick in the pants. You guys are the originals then?"

She shrugged, "If that's what Prime means then yeah, I guess… but from what I see, you guys are older than us, meaning your world time is ahead of ours? How does that even work?"

"Beats me. I'm not an expert on interdimensional travel."

As they approached the central park, a giant wall of fog stopped them from entering.

"What the?" Ruby tried to pass her hand through but the fog was as hard as a wall. "How do we get in?!"

System: "Latecomers, prepare for the secondary challenge. Best this creature within five minutes to enter."

"We gotta fight something as a penalty? Nice…" Nova groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Another tear in space opened up as a Grimm resembling a horseman came through. It was about 12ft tall and 6ft wide, similar to the Knuckleleave its rider was bound to the horse by its torso. Unlike the Knuckleavee however, this creature was plated in bone armour and muscular. Its horns were curled like a demon's horns and its left arm was a shield while its right was a large two-sided axe.

"What the heck is that?!" Ruby exclaimed as she jumped back, the creature stomping onto the ground before them.

Above its head read: "Grimm Horseman of War-Variant Axe. Lvl: 30. Threat Level: High"

Ruby readied to swing as the creature charged at them through the street, its thunderous steps cracking the asphalt. It was incredibly fast.

It was on her in seconds, swinging its axe at her head with precision, she was forced to petal burst and materialize behind it. Using its limited turning radius she spun her axe striking its back. The moment her scythe met with its armour, the blade bounced back with a clang as if she was striking metal.

"Huh?!"

It then turned its spine a complete 180 degrees and bashed her with the shield sending her flying back.

"Nova get out of here! This thing is nuts!" she yelled, noticing him just standing there in shock.

"How the hell are we supposed to beat this thing?!" she tried going for its legs but it jumped over her strike and stamped down, narrowly missing as she dodged with her momentum.

In the moment she recovered from its attack the arms swung on her hard, the attack was coming from her blind spot and she didn't have time to react. Her eyes could only grow wide when she saw it about to hit her, closing her eyes for the impending strike.

*CLANG*

She opened her eyes to find the attack didn't hit.

"W-Wha…?"

Standing between her and the attack was Nova with his draconic arm grabbing the blade as if it were a blunt weapon. The Grimm struggled against the grip as it was no longer able to remove its axe that was firmly held in the boy's hand.

"Man, I was surprised to find you guys here," he said looking at the Grimm, "Well… I guess the Grimm aren't limited to the normal types anyway…"

Ruby was shocked, "You've seen this thing before?"

He glanced at her, "Yeah, a few times. They're all different in how they fight and what weapons they use, but types like this one…" he grabbed the axe and shoved the Grimm hard, "You gotta crack the armor first."

With the Grimm flung back he charged at it, his fist covering in a blazing fire as it crashed into the creature in an explosion the force of the impact shattering the walls of the building and the armour of the Grimm along with it.

Ruby could only marvel at the monstrous strength… it was like everyone from that timeline were insanely strong.

He glanced at his weapon, "Hide's too thick for the sword… so…" he flicked a switch on it as it transformed into a scythe with a curved handle. It was black along the pole with gold embroidery that formed a dragon's head at the scythe top that extended into a fiery orange blade. The blade itself was translucent similar to the other Ruby's Crescent Rose.

"That weapon…" Ruby spoke, "You also use a scythe?"

"This is my baby, Helios," he said giving it a twirl, "She's a…" he was going to continue but the Grimm stirred in its crater. "Oh one sec…"

He reared the scythe behind him in a reaping position, pulling a trigger on the handle the blade began to vibrate at a high frequency. His arms turned draconic and fire engulfed the entire weapon forming a secondary layer that shaped a larger scythe.

With one swift movement, he dashed over the fallen Grimm and cleaved down, fire exploding from the open wound as the Grimm let out a shrill howl before disintegrating. Turning back to Ruby she noticed his eyes were shaped like reptilian slits before they turned normal again.

"There… now let's enter."

System: "Test passed, you may enter."

They cleared the fog and stepped into a battle that was already occurring.

Within the fog, Ruby-13 and the rest of the team were already fighting for their lives. All other teams had shown up at the same time and the system began the bonus event.

Everyone was expecting a standard event like before, just waves of Grimm. What they weren't expecting, however, was that the wave was accompanied by three horsemen. One had an arm cannon that shot explosive fireballs, another had a spear that was about ten feet long and the last had a massive great sword.

The Blakes were handling the arm cannon one, with Blake-13 locking it down with shadows while Blake Prime attacked.

The Weisses were creating crowd control by taking care of as many regular Grimm as they could together with Hex, while the Yangs were tangling with the Greatsword-wielding Horseman.

This left Ruby-13, Luna, and Nitro to handle the Spearman.

Luna used her powers to lock down the creature's movements with her strange telekinetic ability. Nitro was distracting the spear and Ruby-13 slamming down onto its head.

"These things are tough!" Yang Prime yelled as her strike cracked at its solid armor.

"The only way to break them is with blunt force! If you can't use Aura Strikes then just distract it!" Yang-13 yelled while she jumped back and began to focus her Aura. Yang Prime didn't like being the distracting role but this wasn't time to complain. Their forces were already spread thin enough.

"HEY! POOR EXCUSE FOR A DONKEY! OVER HERE!" she waved her hands before dashing in and striking its knees. With the creature's attention now focused on her, Yang-13 could charge her attack.

Concentrating all of her Aura into her fists she clicked a button on Ember Celia and the shotgun shells were primed with a stronger explosive.

"OUT OF THE WAY!" Yang-13 yelled to her counterpart. The other brawler took her queue and jumped back, far away as Yang Prime came down with a strike. The Aura exploded in a massive shockwave that shook the entire area and left a massive crater. The Grimm was dead.

On the other side the Blakes were handling their one but to little avail as neither had the destructive power to pierce its hide, and Yang-13 was out for the count. The alternate universe Yang was on her knees, unable to stand.

"Are you okay?!" Yang Prime ran to her side.

She shook her head, "Used up all my Aura and any strength I had left. I'm trusting you with my back."

The Grimm began to close in around them, "Easier said than done."

Ruby-13 grit her teeth as she looked around, it wasn't bad but at the rate they were going things were bound to get worse before they got better. They needed another heavy hitter, if only…

"BLAKE!" Someone yelled, causing both cat girls to whip their heads around, "BLAST ZONE INCOMING!"

"What the hell?!" Blake Prime exclaimed as she dodged back and Blake-13 grabbed her by the collar and jumped even further away. "What's happening?"

Blake-13 smirked as she stopped far enough away, "He's here."

"Who's here?!"

As she spoke a giant fireball descended from the sky. Blake Prime squinted and she could see someone in the middle of it. The fireball crashed down onto the Horseman and a massive eruption followed, shattering the earth and sending smoke billowing out.

"WHO THE HELL IS THAT?!" Blake Prime once again exclaimed incredulously.

"LUNA!" the person yelled, stepping out of the smoke, revealing themselves to be none other than a boy with silver hair and dragon horns, "RELEASE THE HOLD! RUBY YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!"

Ruby-13 who'd been fighting furiously in the meantime saw the explosion erupt on the other side of the battlefield and instantly she knew.

Like a puzzle piece fitting into place, she felt the bond restored and smiled knowingly. Luna responded automatically and released the lock. With the other threats gone and only one left to focus on, Ruby-13 could let loose.

At this time Ruby Prime ran up to her Blake, "I made it! Sorry for being late," she said cutting down an oncoming Grimm.

Blake was tired, "What took you?!"

Ruby Prime sighed and shot another one, "We got sidetracked. Never mind that, what's the situation?"

The cat girl pointed to the last Horseman that was now released from its binds.

"ANOTHER ONE?! WE NEED TO HELP!" Ruby Prime was ready to engage when she felt a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. It was Nova.

"What are you doing? Let's go!"

He just smirked, "Just watch, you might see something cool."

Ruby-13 closed her eyes and grasped hold of her necklace and muttered a few words silently. Suddenly her red cloak was bathed in bright silver light. The light shot out in all directions, evaporating all the Grimm in the area, leaving behind the Horseman.

"Woah…" Blake Prime mouthed.

Ruby gaped, "Is that… the Silver Eyes?!"

The other Ruby then grasped her scythe with both hands, the light flowed from the cloak and onto the weapon covering it. Then something incredible happened, the light began to shift and write until it billowed out like flames. Silver flames with an orange tint erupted around the blade.

"RETURN TO DUST!" she yelled, petals bursting over and slashing through the Grimm. In one strike, through its armour the blade pierced its torso and cut clean through. The Grimm disintegrated and Ruby dropped down to the ground.

System: "BONUS EVENT CLEARED! Rewards distributed! ETA until Trial 2: 3 Days! Congratulations Challengers!"
